Mia POV
I laughed out really loudly, laughing my heart out like never before. “Wow, Xander you are so funny. You really think that I Mia Sylvester, will marry you. Where did you get that idea, that I will actually marry you.” I ask him still laughing.
“I will answer your question with this.” He smirked at me then put on the TV. Showing on the TV, is my best friend tied to a bed, struggling against the ropes, in tears. Two freakishly naked guy sitting next to her, with their d!ck standing.
“As you can see, Mia. Those guys are really horny right now, and they want nothing else than to have s*x with your beautiful friend, who is clearly struggling against the bed. If you don’t marry me Mia, by this time next year you will look back at today and say, damn I should have save my friend when I had a chance to do so.” He said casually, still smirking.
I gulped nervously, staring at the TV, he is right I have to rescue Sylvia, I can’t let her get raped by two men, that would make me a bad friend.
“What is it going to be, is it a yes or a no. Are we getting married or not.” He asks boredly. ” You know what I think Xander, I think you know very well that you can’t beat me or make me bend to your will and that’s why you are always using my love ones against me. You don’t stand a chance against me Xander Clark, and you know it.” I said staring at him fearlessly.
“I’m an assassin, mia. What did you think, I normally do. When we can get to a client we kidnap their family members or love ones and then kill them and also kill the client. And in this case, I want you on my bed, so yeah I kidnapped your love ones. That’s the number one rule of an assassin Mia.” He chuckled, giving me the *how can you not know that* Look. I hate him, I really do hate him.
“So if your original plan was to have me on your bed then why do you want to get married to me now.”
“You insulted me Mia, when you beat me up in the dark and now this is my way of revenge.” He said shrugging.
“You are sick, that’s what you are. You a very sick man.” I said glaring at him, really hard.
“Thanks for the compliment, my lady. So… are you going to make up your mind or not. is this wedding happening, is this wedding not happening. Is your best friend getting raped, is she not getting raped?.” He questioned boredly.
“I don’t have a wedding gown.” I blurt out, the minute that came out of my mouth, I knew it was a very lame excuse.
“Then, it’s a good thing that I took the liberty of my time to get you a wedding dress. Girls.” He yelled clapping his hand at the same time, four ladies troupes into the sitting room immediately. “You see this ladies, Mia, they will be in charge of getting you ready for the wedding and then also escort you to the wedding ground, and oh they are going to be your bridesmaids.” He blew me a kiss and walked away. I sighed heavily, well if I want to Sylvia hymen to still be intact by tommorow, then I would have to get married to Xander Clark.
After about an hour of the four ladies going around me, painting my nails, taking care of my hair, putting makeup on my face, I was finally ready to get married to that scumbag.
“Ma’am here’s your wedding gown.” One of the girls said, stretching the wedding gown to me. I took the wedding gown from her, pull off my current clothes without care and then wore the wedding gown.
“Wow, you look so beautiful ma’am.” They all said in awe, staring at the gown.
“Just take me to the garden, where the stupid wedding is holding.” I said boredly, interrupting their whatever they call it.
“Yes ma’am.” Would she stop referring to me as ma’am. The girls where already in pink gown and so, they are good to go.
Xander pov
I stood by the made-up alter that’s in my garden, waiting for Mia to walk into the garden. “You know this is crazy right.”Chan whispered, also staring at the entrance of the garden for Mia. Chan is my best man, when I asked him to be my best man at first, he refused and so I had to force him.
“I know but I’m still doing it.” I whispered back, grinning, getting married to Mia, is my way of getting back at mia, this is my way of punishing her,after about a month I’m going to divorce her.
“Getting married to her, is really too much for a payback. Right now Xander, you are acting like a kid.” Did he just call me a kid, why would he call me a kid, I’m not a kid. “Just be a good friend by being my best man, and stop chiding me.” I said to him, he groaned.
“Xander, why don’t….”
“Shhh, my bride is here.” I said to him, placing a finger on his lips to shut him up. I stared at Mia, my eyes almost bulging out my socket on seeing how beautiful she looks in the wedding gown, I made sure she didn’t wear a veil cause by the end of the wedding, I don’t want to find out that I got married to one of those ladies I asked to get her ready. Mia could do anything, and so I’m going to make sure she does not do anything to spoil the wedding.
“How classic, a gun pointed to a pastor head.” She said sarcastically, standing infront of me.
“Well.. he refused to officiate our wedding, and so since I’m a very classic person, I had to do this.” I said grinning. She shakes her head frowning at me deeply.
“Well.. let’s get this wedding started, priest do your thing.” This time around it was the priest turn to shake his head.
“Dearly beloved we are….”
“There is no dearly beloved, so stop addressing and go on with the important stuffs.” I said, cutting the priest off. The priest shakes his head again but nevertheless continued. “If there’s anybody here, who thinks this two shouldn’t get married, speak….”
“Priest there’s nobody here with that motive, so move on!.” I yelled out, this time around the priest and mia sighed together.
“Do you have your own vows Xander Clark.” The priest asked, staring at me. “Yes.” I answered, then the priest gave me the go ahead.
“I promise to release your friend after the wedding day, and I promise to have you repeatedly on my bed.” I said staring at Mia, with a sweet smile on my face.
“Wow, what a nice vow, well here is my vow. I promise to make your death, slowly and a hell lot painful.” Mia said, with a evil glint in her eyes. If I wasn’t afraid of her, I’m so sure I could be now.
“Do you Mia Sylvester take Xander Clark to be your lawfully wedded husband.” The priest asked, The priest announced, putting a stop to i and mia glaring battle. “Yes, I do.” Mia answered.
“Do you Xander Clark, take Mia Sylvester to be your lawfully wedded wife.” The priest asked me, “yes I do.” I answered without the slightest hesitation.
“Where are the ring please.” The priest asked, Chan takes out the ring from his pocket and hands it over to me. “Here is the ring.” I informed the priest showing the rings to him. You can now exchange the rings.”
“With these ring, I thee wed you.” I said and then slipped the ring into Mia’s fourth finger, left hand.
“With these ring, I thee wed you.” Mia said and also slipped the ring on my fourth finger, left hand.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride.” The priest announced. “There would be no need for the kissing part, where is my friend Xander, release her now.” Mia ordered glaring at me.
“Bring her out.” I said into the earpiece in my ear.
After some minutes, Mia’s friend was dragged into the garden, looking so weak and tired.
“Oh my goodness, Sylvia, I am so sorry, I didn’t mean for this to happen. I’m taking you back home now, don’t worry.” Mia said rushing over to her friend.
“Actually that’s not happening, we are going to go for our honeymoon first before I officially release her to you.” I said to Mia, she turned around having a murderous look on.
“You’ve got to joking, you said you were going to release her once the wedding it’s over and the wedding it’s over Xander.” She growled at me.
“Yeah, and I already release your friend to you, the only difference now, is that I’m taking her back again.” I said simply.
“There’s no way I’m letting that happen, I’m taking my friend with me.” She replied me, as she turned around ready to go save her friend, she couldn’t find her friend anymore. I beat you to it Mia.
“Shall we head to our honeymoon Mia.” I said sweetly, walking to wards her.
She glared at me and then I saw her shoulder slumped down in defeat, and I knew right there I have won again, winning feels really good.
