VICTORIA (Aurora) POV
I haven’t been myself since I came in contact with him at the party, there was something about him that I can’t figure out, it’s like we have known each other for long and my heart keeps beating whenever I see him, I wonder why he called me Aurora, do I remind him of someone, am I really his wife, questions keeping running through my head and I think it’s gonna explodes, why can’t I remember him.
I sighed.”This is unlike you Victoria, why do you allow him to kiss you? Why didn’t you push him off?”. I grunt.”If you two hadn’t got interrupted by the ringing of the phone, you could have as well continued enjoying his kisses, Damn! Why does it feel so good?…..why do I feel this isn’t our first kiss”. I grunt confusedly resting my head on my desk.
“What are you doing?”.
I got interrupted by my PA and I raised my face to him.
” Nothing”. I replied.
“Nothing, you don’t look good, did you sleep well last night?”. he asked.
” Not really, I was thinking all through the night”.
“And what were you thinking?”. he asked and I sighed knowing fully well he won’t understand.
” Never mind, do I have any schedule today?”.
“No ma’am, all your schedule of today has been readjusted till tomorrow”. he said and I was confused.
” Why? Who–“I got interrupted.
“Hey wifey”.
” He is the one that readjusted it”. He said quietly and left my office in a rush.
I was surprised to see him standing at my office door looking cute in his outfit, I was drooling over him and I didn’t know why, his Aura was too tempting to resist and I don’t know why I was feeling this way, and it seemed to me that it wasn’t new, I had felt that way before and I don’t know who.
“Did you miss me?”. he asked and I noticed he was standing in front of me.
” How did you get close all of a sudden?”. I asked curiously. he scoffs.
“You were daydreaming that’s why you didn’t know when I walked close to you”.
” What are you doing here? How do you know this place?”.
“I am your husband and I know everything”. he smirk.
” Can you leave now, am trying to work”.
“Apparently, you won’t be working today”.
” Excuse you!”.
“You are quite excused honey”. he said and took my hand. ” Come on, we are going somewhere”. he pulled me up and started dragging me along with him.
“Let go of me!”. I yelled struggling with him, we came out of the office building with everyone staring at us. we entered the car and ordered the driver to drive off while we were seated in the back seat.”Where are you taking to?”.
“Somewhere you will love”. he said smiling at me and I frowned at him.” You know you look cute when you frown like that”.he teased and I scoffed.
The driveway took a minute and I could feel his gaze on me through the driveway, and his hand never left mine no matter how hard I tried to pull my hand from his, but he was holding firmly to it.
“We are here sir”. The driver said.
I looked out from the window to see we were in a film house “A film house?”.
” Yes”. he came down and walked to my side and opened the car for me and I stepped down.
“Why did you bring me here?”.
” To watch a stage movie”.
“Are you kidding me right now”.
” Believe me, you will love it”. He grabs my hand and we walk inside.
There was nobody in the room just us and the light from the stage was reflecting to the audience chairs. “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” We sat down and I was a little bit confused about why he brought me here.
“Why are we the only ones here?”.
” I rented the whole place for the both of us”.
“You do have enough money to throw around, do you?”. I quarrel
” Only for you wifey”. He grins and I roll my eyes at him.”The show is about to start”. he said and we became quiet as someone boomed on the mic.
🗣”Welcome ladies and gentlemen, you are about to watch an exciting love story of a boy and a girl”. The speaker said and just then the stage became dark and a single light appeared on the stage.
it begins with a girl riding on a tricycle and it clashes with a car the boy comes down from the car and both exchange words, after a while, the girl drives away on her tricycle. Another stage appears with the same girl and with some group of people in a mansion holding their cleaning tools. The story continued with different chapters and I started to feel a spark in my head, I was hearing voices and a memory flashing in my head, but it was a blur.
“Are you ok?”. he asked.
” What is this memory? Why are their faces blurred?”. I thought to myself and I started feeling uncomfortable.
“Aurora”. he panicked holding my hand, I became calm and turned to him and our eyes interlock.” Are you ok?”.
Some moments later, we came out after the shows was over, everything acted in there was like a past to me and I can’t just remember any of it.
“Why did you bring me here?”. I asked immediately as we entered the car.
” To bring back your lost memory, that shows displayed on the stage a while ago, was about us”.
“Really?”.
” Yes, so, tell me, did you remember anything?”.
“I don’t know, something flashed through my head and it was a blur”. I said.
” I know, it’s gonna take a little time to fully get your memory back”. he said and then ordered the driver to drive.
He took me to different places in the city just to have a moment together and I was comfortable with it and I wish it never ends. Later in the day, after a wonderful moment with him, he drove me home and we stood in front of the gate staring at each other.
“Um, thank you, I had fun today”. I said nervously.
” Am glad you do”. he smiled as he pulled closer to me closing the gap between us, my heart flinched as I felt his hand on my face.
“Oh no, is he going to kiss me again?”. I thought to myself and closed my eyes expecting his lips on mine. unfortunately, it didn’t happen as I thought, he only kissed my cheek and I felt disappointed.
” Good night wifey, I will see you soon”. he said and left for his car and zoomed off.
“Damn it! What was I thinking”. I rushed inside quickly feeling embarrassed.

NARRATOR POV
Elizabeth was tired of Spike threatening her, she sat down in her living room thinking about what to do.
” He is beating more than he can chew, maybe I should put an end to this before it becomes a problem”. she said and dialed Spike’s number, it rang for a while before it was picked.📞”let’s meet, tell me where you are and I will meet you there”. she hung up.
An hour later, Elizabeth arrived at Spike’s house and he welcomed her in warmly.
“Am glad you came “.
” Of course, why won’t I, you have been a great help to me so far”. She smirk.
“What can I offer you?”.
” Actually, I brought us something to celebrate with”. She said as she brought out a bottle of champagne from her bag.
“Wow, what are we celebrating?”. he asked excitedly.
“Nothing special”. she said and Spike brought two glasses and served the drink. ” Let’s cheer”. they hit their glasses together and Spike sipped from it as Elizabeth watched him.
“This champagne tastes nice”. he said and sipped from it again.
” Do you like it?”.
“Yes”.
” is all yours”.She smirk.
“Thank you for giving me a second chance”.
” Not a problem, what are colleagues for, I know what you did wasn’t intentional, so I forgive you”.
“Thanks, are we back to the game?”.
” Yes, sure”.
“Thank you”. He continued to sip from his drink.
Some minutes later, Spike was deep in sleep because Elizabeth added sleeping pills to the drink.
” Now you are going to be doomed”. She smirk and then dial a number on her phone. 📞”It’s time”. She said and hung up.
Not too long after, two men rolled in a lady dead body and lay her next to Spike on the floor, one of the men used Spike’s hand to pierce a knife on the dead body stomach, and then the other guy opened Spike’s mouth and dropped a little acid on his tongue, after that they all left.
An hour later, police ranged the apartment after they got a call from an unknown number saying there was a murder case, Spike was arrested and he couldn’t defend himself because he could no longer speak, the dead body was taken away by the ambulance.
