“Fire,” he said, and she started shooting the gun at them while Antonio kept driving.

A slight smirk suddenly appeared on Antonio’s lips…..

30 MINUTES LATER,LION HELL CLAN*

They actually arrived at the empire 20 minutes ago, and each one of them went to their suite to freshen up. Maya was about to leave when Antonio stopped her.

She realized the stunt she pulled a few minutes ago,how could she be so dumb? She knows the devil to be tricky, did she actually forget that?

After shooting the gun at them, she knew the bullet hit some of them, and that distracted Scent and his gang, allowing them to escape. Scent’s gang lost them.

She turned toward Antonio, and his smirk was still on his face.

“I need you in my suite, now,” Antonio muttered and started walking,she had no choice but to follow him.

Has he finally realized what she was? Did he know now that she’s a cop and she was here on a mission? Or was he going to give her another punishment?

She entered his room and met the darkness of his suite again. Antonio wasn’t inside, where did he go just now?

She suddenly heard the door open and turned to see the devil. His lion eyes roamed all over her.

Can he ever just understand this girl? First, she was the person who tried to seduce him, and now she knows how to shoot a gun? Just who the freaking hell is she?

He started walking towards her, and she moved backward.

“If you take one more move, I won’t hesitate to cripple your leg, trust me, you’re gonna be needing a wheelchair to walk,” Antonio muttered and walked to her, grabbing her hand.

“Who the freaking hell are you?” Antonio’s cocky voice asked.

“What do you mean by who I am?” She asked back.

“I see you have the guts to answer my question with a question? Huh? Do you think I’m dumb and that I won’t figure out who you are? You claim to be someone innocent, but you’re not, I freaking know you’re not who you claim to be. You’re more than that,” he yelled, sending a shiver down her spine.

“Now, tell me, I won’t repeat this question again, how do you know how to shoot a gun so accurately?” He asked her.

“I just thought I should try it out,” Maya stuttered, and he chuckled.

“You thought you should try, and yes, you did. I’m thinking,was that why you shot your bullet, and it hit the target? You think I’m a fool, Vinegar, one of us, doesn’t know how to shoot like you did earlier. It only means one thing, that you’re either part of an organization, and you’re a spy sent to me,” Antonio said to her.

“I’m not in any organization, nor am I a spy,” she shouted at him, and Antonio grabbed her hand, squeezing it.

“Then what are you? Should I start by telling you how you tried to seduce me in that club? Or how you shoot so accurately?” Antonio fired at her.

“I…where I grew up…I…they’re always war upon war, so I have seen how they use guns. But trust me when I say I have never tried it out. I just saw how they use guns, and when you asked me to shoot, I knew what I was supposed to do. I didn’t know the bullet would hit the other gang that was chasing you,” Maya replied, and he let go of her hand.

“And about the dance you pulled that day?” he asked, his eyes narrowing.

“It was just my passion, and that was what I did to cater for myself until you brought me here,” she replied, trying to sound convincing.

She stared at him and saw how his expression changed. She hoped he bought the lie she had told him.

“You sure about this?” Antonio asked, his voice firm.

She nodded, trying to appear confident.

“Trust me, if I ever find out that you’re not what you said you are, I’ll kill you myself,” Antonio said to her, his eyes piercing.

“Leave,” he said, and she quickly rushed out of his room.

Antonio walked to his table and took a weed before bringing out a lighter. He started puffing out smoke, lost in thought.

She rushed to her room and started releasing hot, heavy breaths. That was close.

“Maya, are you still there?” Grayson’s voice spoke from the device he had placed on her.

She had actually tapped the device when Antonio summoned her to his room, and Grayson heard everything Antonio said. He was even the one who told her the lie she came up with to tell Antonio.

“Yeahh, I’m here,” she said.

“How can you be so careless? You were shooting… Let’s not even talk about the blowing of cover stuff… You’re helping the devil if you don’t know,” Grayson said, his voice stern.

“What was I supposed to do? Okay, I’m sorry,” Maya stuttered.

“You need to be careful next time,” Grayson said, and she nodded.

“Thanks, Gray, for saving me back there. I mean, if not for you, my head would have been cut off,” Maya said, grateful.

“It was worth it,” Grayson whispered back.

“July, is she there… with you?” Maya asked.

“She’s here,” Grayson said.

“Maya,” July’s voice spoke up, and Maya smiled.

“Gosh… I miss you, Maya. Please come back,” July said, her voice filled with longing.

“I missed you too,” Maya muttered, walking to sit on her bed.

NEXT MORNING, DINNING TABLE*

The gang members sat in the dining room, each one playing with their food.

They couldn’t believe Jupiter was gone, just like that.

“Are you all going to eat or what?” Skylar asked, and all the gang members turned to look at her.

“What?” she said, noticing everyone’s eyes on her.

“One of us dies, and all you can think about is food?” Spider asked, her voice laced with disbelief.

“Of course,” Skylar replied.

“There’s nothing we can do to bring her back.”

“But at least we can cherish and pay our deep condolences until we meet again,” Jerry muttered.

Skylar rolled her eyes.

“So, by paying your condolences to her, mean starving yourself to death?”

“Enough of the argument.We just have to accept that everything that happens is fate.” Max said.

“Louder, Max,” Skylar said, taking her fork and eating her sandwich.

Vinegar stood up from the dining table and walked to the training ground.

Jerry, who saw her, also stood up and followed her. Spider looked at him, wondering what he saw in Vinegar that she didn’t have.

She tightened her grip on the spoon she was holding.

“Hey, do you want to bend the spoon?” Speedy asked, and she finally let go of the spoon, revealing her fingerprint on it.

She dropped the spoon angrily and stood up from the dining table.

“Geez, why is no one eating? I’m slowly losing my appetite,” Minnie said.

Throughout dinner, Pussycat kept staring at Max.

GYM*

Antonio and Drake were busy doing push-ups in the gym.

“That girl? Don’t you find her mysterious?” Drake asked, and Antonio looked at him….

“Why?” he asked.

“I mean, she saved your life earlier from Hellfire.” Drake said.

“You’re actually getting it all wrong, I saved her life, she didn’t save mine.” Antonio said.

“If she hadn’t shot at them, do you think you two would have escaped?” Drake asked.

“Of course, we would.” Antonio said.

“Back to my question, you do find her mysterious, right? Why aren’t you killing her? She’s been here for two weeks now, and she’s still alive.” Drake said.

“I don’t want to kill her, I find her amusing. She carries an aura a mysterious aura,and I think if she joins us, it’s going to be great.” Antonio said.

“Wait, you’re not going to do what I’m thinking.” Drake said, as he carried the weight, lifting it up.

“Of course, it’s what you’re thinking. Why do you think Hellfire wants her? Because he saw the aura I also saw in her.” Antonio said.

“So, you’re going to train her to be one of us?” Drake asked.

“Of course.” Antonio said.

“I think she’s going to be a fast learner.” Antonio added.

He stood up, took a towel, and cleaned his sweat before walking out of the gym.

“Dancer girl, a mafia this is going to be interesting.” Drake mumbled.

Maya came out of her room and bumped into Skylar.

“Sorry.” Maya said and Skylar smiled obviously a fake smile.

“It’s nothing.” Skylar said and Maya looked dumbfounded for a second.

Wasn’t she the one who tried to whip her days ago, and her smile.. Is she trying to fake it.

She suddenly remembered that Grayson said she should try make friends.

Maybe she would start from Skylar.

But was is she to say? Just something to break the ice.

“Where are you headed to?? ” Skylar asked and she look at her.

“Actually no where. I just wanted to go receive fresh breeze.” Maya said.

“Since you don’t have where you’re going, I think.. I suggest.. Do you drink?. “Skylar asked.

“Yeah.. But I’m a terrible drinker.. You wouldn’t want to see my drunk state.” Maya said and Skylar smiled.

“Let’s go the bar then.. “Skylar suggested.

“Uhm.. Just like I said I’m a terrible drinker. ” Maya mumbled.

“No worries just a glass. ” Skylar said and grabbed her hand.

“But… . ” she trailed off

“No but…There’s nothing to be scared of.. It’s just a drink. “Skylar said as they both headed outside.

Pussycat saw Max sitting at the safe house, he was busy cleaning some stuff.

“Heyy.” Pussycat walked up to him.

“Hi.” He simply said, doing what he was doing earlier on.

“Have been looking for you, I even went to your room, but I didn’t see you.” she said.

“You did?” he asked.

“Yeah.” She replied, and he smirked.

“Aren’t you scared?” he asked.

“Scared of what?” She muttered, and he looked at her.

“It’s nothing.” he smiled at her, she smiled back.

“Uhm, I have to go now.” he said and rushed out of the room, he bumped into Speedy on the way.

“Right timing, Baby…I was about going to look for you, I’m so h+rny right now” Speedy winked, and immediately jumped on him.

“Me too” Max smirked, and grabbed her @+s quick, squeezing it possessively.

They kissed and his hand went under her p+nts steadily, not breaking the kiss.

Since she’s wearing nothing beneath, he dipped a finger inside her p+ssy and she started mo+aning bi+chily.

He started fingering her right there, not minding other gangsters watching.

Maya actually arrived a few minutes back,she was drunk as f+k.

Skylar smirked from where she was.. She claims to be a terrible drinker.. She just pray her plan work and she end up spilling all her secret in front of Antonio.

ANTONIO Where was he? He needs to be here to watch her display her madness.

She actually wanted to go and look for Antonio when she saw Antonio standing beside her.

“Don.” She called.

“What are you looking at?? ” Antonio asked.

“Huh?.”

“What are you looking at.” Antonio asked again.

“Maya, she has been acting all weird since.” Skylar said and Antonio gaze directed toward Maya.

“Leave, I’d take care of her.” Antonio said and Skylar left the place her heart was screaming yes, yes, yes.

Antonio walked toward her and grabbed her hand.

“You actually have to stop this nonsense.” he yelled at her and she turn her gaze to him.

She released a low sturtle.

“Who’re you? Huh? How could I actually forgot you.. The devil.” She said and he stare at her.

Was she referring him to that?

“The devil who cause pains to the victims.. I’d always remember him even if the place was clouded with darkness.. That’s the amount of hate I have for him for me to be able to remember him.” she chuckles and touch her hair.

Just what the heck was she sputtering.

Her hand mistakenly tap the device twice.

“Yunno what? I promise that I would kill the devil, I’m gonna cut off his head and bring his head to Emily.” She continues sputtering.

“And who’s this devil.” Antonio decided to play along.

“Who’s he? You can’t know him even if I describe him to you.” Maya said and her gaze landed on Antonio face.

She place her two hand on his neck and brought is face closer.

“But you’re freaking handsome unlike that devil.” she said.

Everything she was saying Grayson was hearing everything.

And he boiled is hand into a fist when he heard what Maya said next.

“But you know something interesting.. I love hot and handsome guy and now that I have found you.. I’m never letting go…cos you’re mine.” she said and brought Antonio face closer.

He didn’t bother to stop her.

Grayson stood up realizing what she was about to do.

“No.. Maya.. No. Maya.” he yelled In the speaker.

She place her soft lips on his lips.

“Now you’re mine.” She said kissing him harder.
