Hazard’s face moved closer.
Their breaths mixed.
For a second—
They both hesitated.
Then—
Hazard finally lost control.
He kissed her.
It wasn’t gentle.
It was intense.
Desperate.
Like a storm finally breaking.
Pispa gasped softly but didn’t pull away.
For a moment—
Everything else disappeared.
The war.
The danger.
The pain.
It was just them.
But suddenly—
Victor’s voice echoed from inside.
“Boss!”
They broke apart quickly.
Victor rushed onto the balcony.
His face looked serious.
“Wayne made a move.”
Hazard frowned.
“What did he do?”
Victor handed him a tablet.
News headlines filled the screen.
DEHAVILLAND CORPORATION UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES
Pispa’s eyes widened.
“What?!”
Victor nodded grimly.
“Wayne leaked everything.”
Hazard’s jaw tightened.
Victor continued.
“And that’s not all.”
He looked directly at Hazard.
“He’s forming alliances with your enemies.”
Hazard’s eyes turned dark again.
The kiss.
The moment.
All of it vanished.
Because the war had finally begun.
And this time—
Wayne wasn’t just attacking Hazard.
He was trying to destroy everything.

The rain had stopped, but the storm was far from over.
Nika’s Discovery
Inside a small apartment across the city, Nika sat alone on the couch.
Her eyes were swollen from crying.
Wayne had thrown her out like she meant nothing.
She replayed the moment again and again in her mind.
You betrayed me.
She clenched her fists.
“I didn’t…”
Her voice trembled.
Then suddenly—
Her phone buzzed.
A notification from her cloud storage.
Someone had logged into her account earlier that night.
Nika frowned.
She opened the log history.
Her eyes slowly widened.
The login location wasn’t Wayne’s house.
It was another device.
Registered under…
Mala.
Nika froze.
“No…”
Her mind quickly connected everything.
The flash drive.
The fake messages.
Wayne’s sudden anger.
Her hands began shaking.
“Mala…”
Her best friend.
The girl she trusted like a sister.
Nika’s tears slowly stopped.
Her eyes turned cold.
“So you framed me.”
She stood up slowly.
“If you want a war…”
Her lips curled slightly.
“…you’re going to regret it.”

**

The room was still heavy after Wayne’s message ended.
The tablet screen went black in Hazard’s hand.
For a few seconds, no one spoke.
Victor finally broke the silence.
“Twelve hours.”
August leaned against the table and exhaled sharply.
“That lunatic really plans to blow up DeHavilland Tower?”
Victor nodded.
“Yes. And if that building explodes… hundreds of people will die.”
Pispa felt a chill crawl down her spine.
Hazard stood silently, staring ahead.
Wayne wasn’t just attacking him anymore.
He was starting a war.
August glanced at Hazard.
“So what’s the plan, devil?”
Hazard slowly turned his eyes toward him.
The tension between them returned immediately.
Victor quickly raised his hands.
“Okay… not the time for a testosterone contest.”
Pispa rubbed her forehead.
“Please. We have bigger problems.”
Victor looked down at the tracking screen again.
“I’m tracing Wayne’s signal.”
A few seconds passed.
Then—
Victor’s eyes widened slightly.
“Got him.”
Hazard stepped closer.
“Where?”
Victor zoomed in on the map.
“Shipping district. Old harbor warehouses.”
August gave a low whistle.
“That area is a nightmare to search.”
Hazard grabbed his coat.
“Then we start now.”

**

Inside the DeHavilland Mansion
In the garden, the night air was cool.
A small figure sat on the swing.
Nam.
His small legs swung back and forth.
His mother, Cher, stood beside him with her arms crossed.
“Mom,” Nam asked suddenly.
“Hmm?”
“Why does Uncle Hazard always stay with that girl?”
Cher’s expression darkened slightly.
“That girl is changing him.”
Nam frowned.
“How?”
Cher crouched down to his level.
“Your uncle used to be strong.”
Her voice was quiet but sharp.
“No emotions. No weakness. No one could control him.”
Nam looked toward the mansion windows.
The balcony light where Pispa stood earlier was still on.
“But that girl…”
Cher continued.
“She makes him soft.”
Nam’s little eyebrows pulled together.
“Like a villain making the hero weak?”
Cher smiled faintly.
“Yes.”
Nam looked determined suddenly.
“I don’t like her.”
Cher stroked his hair.
“Neither do I.”
Nam kicked the air.
“She takes Uncle Hazard’s attention.”
Cher’s eyes glimmered with something darker.
“Exactly.”
Nam looked toward the mansion again.
“I’ll make Uncle Hazard notice me again.”
Cher stood up slowly.
“That’s my boy.”
Neither of them noticed Victor watching from the balcony upstairs.
He sighed quietly.
“A seven-year-old shouldn’t be dragged into this mess…”
The Garage
The mansion garage buzzed with activity.
Black cars were lined up.
Weapons and equipment were being prepared.
Hazard checked a gun quietly.
August watched him.
“You still keep those?”
Hazard didn’t look up.
“Old habits.”
August smirked.
“So the assassin rumors were true.”
Pispa frowned.
“August…”
But August continued.
“You should tell her everything.”
Hazard’s hand stopped.
The air grew tense again.
Pispa looked between them.
“What truth?”
Hazard’s voice was cold.
“Later.”
August laughed softly.
“That’s always your answer.”
Victor slammed a car door.
“Enough!”
They both looked at him.
“If we don’t move now… Wayne wins.”
Silence followed.
Hazard got into the driver’s seat.
“Get in.”
August hesitated for a moment.
Then shrugged.
“Fine.”
He climbed into the passenger seat.
Pispa sat in the back seat quietly.
Victor got into the second car with the team.
Engines roared to life.
The convoy sped out of the mansion gates.
Wayne’s Real Trap
Back in the warehouse district.
Wayne walked through a dim corridor.
Rows of explosives were carefully planted around the building.
Timers blinked softly.
Nam followed behind him.
“When do we press the button?”
Wayne smiled slowly.
“Not yet.”
Nam frowned.
“Why?”
Wayne opened a heavy metal door.
Inside were even more traps.
Armed men.
And enough explosives to destroy the entire building.
Nam’s eyes lit up.
“Oh…”
Wayne walked toward a large monitor.
On the screen—
Hazard’s convoy entered the shipping district.
Wayne’s smile widened.
“When Hazard walks into this building…”
He lifted the detonator slightly.
“…he won’t walk out.”
Lightning flashed outside the warehouse windows.
And somewhere in the city—
A war was about to begin.

**

Back at the DeHavilland mansion.
Pispa walked through the hallway quietly.
Her mind was still spinning from what had happened on the balcony.
Hazard kissing her.
Her heart still beat faster when she thought about it.
Just then—
The mansion doors suddenly opened loudly.
Pispa turned.
A tall figure walked inside.
His eyes quickly scanned the room.
Then landed on her.
“Pispa.”
Her eyes widened in shock.
“August?!”
August rushed toward her immediately.
“Are you okay? I’ve been looking everywhere for you!”
Pispa smiled slightly.
“I’m fine.”
But before she could say more—
Another voice came from behind.
“She is.”
August turned.
Hazard stood at the top of the stairs.
His eyes immediately locked on August.
The tension in the room thickened instantly.
August’s jaw tightened.
“You.”
Hazard slowly walked down the stairs.
“I see you’re still alive.”
August scoffed.
“Disappointed?”
Pispa sighed softly.
“Please don’t start.”
But August wasn’t looking at Hazard anymore.
His eyes moved to Pispa.
Then to her lips.
A faint red mark remained.
August froze.
“Wait.”
His eyes slowly narrowed.
“Did he…”
He looked back at Hazard.
“You kissed her?”
Silence filled the room.
Hazard didn’t answer.
That was enough.
August’s fists clenched immediately.
“You son of—”
Pispa quickly stepped between them.
“Stop!”
August looked furious.
“You’re defending him?”
Pispa sighed.
“It’s not what you think.”
August laughed bitterly.
“Oh really?”
Hazard’s voice cut through the tension.
“Leave.”
August turned slowly.
“Or what?”
Hazard’s eyes darkened.
“You won’t like the answer.”
August stepped closer.
“I’ve fought worse than you.”
Victor suddenly rushed into the hallway.
“Not now!”
Everyone looked at him.
Victor’s face was serious.
“We have bigger problems.”
Hazard frowned.
“What?”
Victor held up a tablet.
“Wayne just sent a message.”
Hazard grabbed it.
A video began playing.
Wayne appeared on the screen.
He smiled slowly.
“Hello, Hazard.”
Hazard’s eyes hardened.
Wayne continued,
“I thought I should warn you.”
He stepped aside.
Behind him—
A massive warehouse filled with explosives appeared.
Victor whispered,
“Oh shit…”
Wayne’s smile widened.
“This building belongs to your company.”
Hazard’s jaw tightened.
Wayne finished calmly,
“And tomorrow morning…”
He pressed a detonator halfway.
“…it explodes.”
Pispa gasped.
August stared at the screen.
Wayne’s eyes gleamed with madness.
“You have twelve hours to stop me.”
He laughed softly.
“But if you fail…”
His voice dropped.
“…everything you built will burn.”
The video ended.
The room fell silent.
Hazard slowly lowered the tablet.
His eyes had turned completely cold again.
The devil had returned.

**

Meanwhile — Wayne’s Hideout
Wayne stood in front of a large screen filled with security footage.
One of the cameras showed DeHavilland Tower.
His thumb rested lightly on the detonator.
The room was dim, lit only by the glow of the monitors.
Footsteps echoed behind him.
A tall man stepped into the room.
It was Ronan, one of Wayne’s most trusted men.
He glanced at the explosives displayed on another screen and gave a low whistle.
“So the trap is ready.”
Wayne smiled faintly without turning around.
“Perfectly.”
Ronan leaned against the table, folding his arms.
“You really think Hazard will come?”
Wayne chuckled quietly.
“Oh, he will.”
Ronan raised an eyebrow.
“And why are you so confident?”
Wayne’s eyes gleamed dangerously as he stared at the screen showing Hazard’s convoy moving through the city.
“Because Pispa is with him.”
Ronan smirked.
“Using her again.”
Wayne shrugged casually.
“People reveal their true selves when someone they care about is in danger.”
Ronan laughed under his breath.
“Well…”
He glanced at the detonator in Wayne’s hand.
“…tonight we’ll see if the devil bleeds.”
Wayne’s smile widened slowly.
Outside, thunder rolled across the sky.
And somewhere in the city—
Hazard was driving straight toward the trap.
