Xander’s POV
Mia POV
“Hi, I am detective Derrick. I was told you have an information for me.” Detective derrick said, shaking my hand.
“Yes sir, I do.’ I replied him.
“Sure, can we go to my offic, to have some privacy.”
“Sure, why not. Please, lead the way.” He smiled at me, and then lead the way, to he’s office.
“Please, do have a seat.” Derrick said, pointing at a chair in he’s office. I nod my head thankfully, then sat down.
“Okay, can I have your name miss.” He starts, sitting down on the chair opposite me.
“I don’t think, knowing my name is necessary here. I just want to give you the information that I found.” I said to the man, with all seriousness.
“Okay, if you want it that way. I guess that fine.” From he’s reply, I can tell he’s not happy with my reply.
“Yeah.” I said nodding my head.
“Okay, so… What is this information?.” He asked.
“A very interesting one, I can promise you that.” I said grinning, I brought the brown envelope from the bag I’m caring, then hands it over to him.
He took the envelope from me, having a curious look on he’s face, right in my front he reads, “Wow this, is really wonderful. How, did you get your hands on this. We have been looking for any little evidence, to bring this man in the light of the law.” Detective Derrick said, with a huge smile on he’s face, he also had a look of surprise.
“I’m sorry but I can’t tell you that, Mr Derrick, I have giving you the evidence, and this is all you need to know.” I said coldly.
“Fine, I won’t ask anymore questions. Thanks for the evidence.” He said getting up from he’s chair, stretching forth his hand for a handshake.
“I didn’t do this for you, Mr Derrick. So, there’s no need to thank me.” I shaked his hand, and then got myself out of he’s office and out of the police station.
“How do you feel.” Chan asked the minute, I got on the van.
“I feel terrible, if that’s what you want to know.” I replied back sadly, resting my head on the seat.
“Hey… everything’s going to be okay, well I hope so I hope I didn’t just bring the worst out of Xander I hope this will change it I hope so too he’s mad at me briefly and then start the car and drove away.
Xander POV
I woke up in the morning, to a banging on my door, I looked out my room window, only to find police cars, surrounding my whole building. I took in a deep sigh, got up from my bed, and then walked into the bathroom to have my bath.
After having my bath, I put on my suit, if I’m going to go down, atleast I should go down in style.
Once I was done dressing, I styled my long black hair to my desire, then had some breakfast.
“Welcome, to my humble abode, everyone.” I said opening the door of my house. All the police standing infront of my house, looked at me really confused, with a gun in their hands.
One of the police man, who I assume is detective Derrick, was about saying something, or should I say about reading my rights to me, when I stopped. ” I know you are here to arrest me detective, and I also know my rights, just get it done with and put the damn handcuffs on my hand.” I said dryly, he looked at me shocked, but nevertheless handcuffed me.
I was taken to one of the big vans parked in my compound, I got into the van and right then, I laid my eyes on Chan.
“Hey man.” Chan greets as I sat down in the van. I looked at him then nod my head.
“Hey.” I replied him back.
“Mia really got us this time around, didn’t she?.” He said smoothly, I chuckled. “Cut the crap Chan, I know you are responsible for this, and that Mia, was actually the one, assisting you.” I said with all seriousness, not even blinking an eyelid.
He was about arguing with me, when he noticed the seriousness in my face, “How did you find out.” He asked shocked.
“You are not one to get angry, when you are right, Chan. If I don’t believe you, you just leave it like that and I also followed Mia, to the station.” I said to him.
“I’m sorry.” He apologized.
“Hey, don’t be sorry. I do deserve being in jail but what I don’t get, is why you are here, sitting next to me.”
“You seem to be forgetting that I’m your best friend, and besides I’m also an assassin, and I have also killed people. Xander, I know you don’t believe this, but I don’t just see you as a friend but also as a brother. And brother’s, ho down together.” I felt an emotion swelled up in my heart.
“Brother’s go down together.” I agreed with him, with a smile on my face.
“You know for a man who Is going to prison, you do look incredibly handsome.”
“I try my best Chan.”
Mia POV.
I felt bad, I felt terrible, Xander was sentenced to a life imprisonment, along side Chan. I shouldn’t have listened to Chan, I should be have done that.
I love Xander, I have always loved him since childhood, and not once did I stop loving him, and now I sent the man I love to jail. What kind of a person am I?
I laid down on my bed, then put on my phone, a message popped in, I opened it and then read.
*DON’T YOU EVEN DARE, GET MARRIED.* I chuckled, he has to be kidding me, idiot you are going to be in there for a lifetime. I guess I won’t be able to find love, so why not just obey the idiot. Wait a minute, I checked the time, the message was sent to me and it was way before, Xander got arrested. Bastard, he knew….
