7 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW IF MEN  DON’T HAVE S*X FOR A WHILE

S*xual function and activity are not just about pleasure and satisfaction.

Both physical and mental health can benefit from regular s*xual intercourse.

So what happened When a man Don’t have s*x for a while, a chain of reactions may occur. Since these effects are not specific to voluntary or involuntary abstinence, men usually donโ€™t think they have anything to do with a lack of s*x. Below, you can see what happens when you don’t have s*xual intercourse for a while.

1. BAD SLEEP

It is also believed that s*xual inactivity can result in troubled sleep for some since the body might not feel as relaxed as it does after having s*x.

S*xual intercourse helps in the release of oxytocin, prolactin, and dopamine, three hormones that are crucial in getting you good sleep, lack of which can result in improper sleep.

2. DECREASED PERFORMANCE

When you stop or dont have s*x and remain abstinent for a while, your s*xual performance can decrease where it wonโ€™t be at an optimal level once you start having s*x again.

Your s*xual performance depends on many factors, including a strong sex drive, proper erectile function, no ejaculation problems, among others. Lack of s*x can worsen all these things and thereby affect your performance.

3. RISK OF PROSTATE CANCER

There have been studies that suggest that men who ejaculated more number of times happened to have a lower risk of getting prostate cancer.

While the correlation is not conclusive, one thing is for sure and it’s that a body that doesnโ€™t masturbate or indulge in s*xual intercourse enough, is an unhealthy body.

Also more research about the role of s*xual health in prostate cancer risk subjects is necessary. It is necessary to uncover how ejaculating regularly can protect the prostate. However, men who don’t have or stop having s*x could be more susceptible to prostate problems and lower urinary tract symptoms.

4. YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE CAN SPIKE.

Without s*x, you may notice an increase in blood pressure. Science says thatโ€™s not a coincidence. In fact, a 2006 study in the medical journal Biological Psychology found that people who were having regular s*x had lower levels of blood pressure than those who weren’t. This is also linked to the relationship between s*x and stress. The researchers controlled for multiple variables in the study and concluded that having s*x more frequently actually improves your bodyโ€™s physiological response to stress. This, in turn, keeps oneโ€™s blood pressure at a lower base level.

5. YOUR RHYTHM GETS THROWN OFF THE NEXT TIME YOU HAVE SEX.

You know that old expression, “if you don’t use it, you lose it?” Science suggests that to a degree, that might be true. A 2008 study in the American Journal of Medicine concluded that men in their 50s, 60s, and 70s that weren’t s*xually active were more likely to suffer from erectile dysfunction. This makes some sense: on an intellectual level, navigating all those arms and legs and erogenous zones can get pretty confusing, so imagine trying to navigate the core mechanics of intercourse after months and months of not having s*x at all. Luckily, there’s an easy solution: even if you don’t have a partner, the research suggests ejaculating regularly can help alleviate some of these effects.

6. YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM GETS WEAKER.

Orgasms are incredibly beneficial to your immune system, as psychologists Carl Charnetski and Francis Brennan Jr. found. They conducted a study where they asked patients who were having s*x once or twice a week to provide saliva samples. Those samples were found to contain an extremely high concentration of the common-cold busting antibody immunoglobulin A. Who knew that extremely close contact was a net-positive in terms of preventing illness?

7. RISK OF HEART DISEASE.

A 2010 study published in the American Journal of Cardiology found that men who have s*x at least twice a week almost cut their risk of heart disease in half. However, the researchers noted their findings may simply be correlationalโ€”not causal. โ€œMen who have frequent sex might be more likely to be in a supportive intimate relationship,” they noted. “This might improve health through stress reduction and social support.โ€

CONCLUSION

Men who stop having s*x for a while are at a higher risk of prostate problems, s*xual dysfunction, and other side effects. The good news is that these problems are manageable, and your s*x life can improve. A healthy lifestyle is crucial for proper sexual functioning and good heart health.
