The Maranzanos – Episode 33&34

“Ouuuu! No!!!!!!!” Luciano shrieked as her teeth dug really deep into his skin, creating a wound immediately.

Franklin didn’t stop pressing the arm into her mouth till he saw blood erupting, and that was when he let go of him.

Luciano fell on the ground, swinging the arm like it got bathed with pepper. He was crying very loud.

“I need water to rinse my mouth” Mia told Franklin, and he got her the cup of water on the table.

She drank from it and circulated it in her mouth before spiting it out, directly on Luciano.

“B+ch!!!” Luciano cried out again, and she laughed.

“That was some nice teamwork, Tallest” 

“Get to work, remove the bullet from her flesh” Franklin said, and Luciano looked up, holding his bleeding arm tightly.

“You think I will?” 

Franklin brought his gun out of his pocket immediately, and he aimed directly for his head 

“No! No please! No!!!” He cried.

Without waiting for Franklin’s words again, he opened the kit and began treatment on the leg.

Franklin held the gun to his head throughout, and it went on for thirty long minutes before he was able to round everything off.

Throughout the bullet removal process, Mia didn’t make a sound, and that got Franklin amused.

Just how much energy is in that tiny body of hers?

Luciano wrapped the leg with a bandage after treatment, and he closed his kit before standing, but Franklin’s gun met with his forehead again.

“I did what you asked, get that metal off my face, please” he begged.

“You have no right to molest her again, else I’d really pull my trigger on you” Franklin replied.

“You think Sergio will spare you if you try that? I know you’re an important member of the R4 but I’m much more important. Sergio never gives second chances, so he should have ended me when Mia stole the potassium from me to kill Sofia, but he spared me! You think that’s ordinary? It’s because I have more use than you can ever imagine, think about it” Luciano scoffed and walked out of the room.

“What’s that scum talking about?” Mia muttered.

Franklin remained standing on his spot, thinking about Luciano’s words. He needs no one to tell him that those words are related to Mia.

He’s an evil doctor, and Sergio is a devil. When the evil meets the devil,then something deadly is sure to occur.

What the f+k are they doing to Mia? Why was she like that when it rained? Why is her blood slippery?

“Tallest, you haven’t been talking” Mia said behind him, bringing him out of his thoughts.

He faced her slowly. “From now on, lock your door behind, and don’t open for anyone without hearing their voice” he said.

“Ok, but why?”

“Haven’t you learnt enough? It’s f+king toxic here, and I think they did something to you” he replied.

“Something to me? I don’t understand” she said naively.

“Just call me when anything like this happens again” he replied and started leaving.

“You went to your sis, right? How’s she doing? She’s the reason you’re fighting for me, so I need to check up on her, can you snap her picture to show me the next time you visit her?” She said.

“Just lock your door, Dwarf” he replied and eventually left.

“Cold stone” she muttered, but she suddenly giggled when she remembered how she bit Luciano earlier.

“So satisfying, gosh!” 

She rode her wheelchair to the table and got her PS books to resume reading.

“You did that to Luciano, right? I saw him came out of the elevator with a bleeding arm” Armani asked when Franklin entered the guards quarters.

“Why would I bite him? I have no reason to do that when I have a gun” he replied, and Armani stopped him by getting in front of him.

“Then is it Mia? Mia did that to his arm? What! Boss is gon’ kill her trust me!” He shouted.

“Did you make her do it?” Ghost asked as he appeared too.

“You should have known better, you only just endangered her, I guess she’d scream in pains today again” Armani shook his head.

“The fact that boss did nothing to her when she killed Sofia is probably because Sofia is unimportant, but boss is the only one who can hurt Luciano or order his punishment, he cherishes him just as much as he cherishes you, I think they’re plotting something together or something” Ghost said.

“Can y’all stop with the sermon? Hol up, I can’t even think” Franklin said.

“Whatever, we have a mission to cover tommorow, and I can’t wait for the briefing” Aurora flexed her neck.

“What’s it about?” Franklin asked.

“No one knows yet, but if I’m to take a guess, it’d be… Arson” Armani smiled.

ABYSS*

Rocco got so thin within twenty four hours already as a result of the killer heat, it was literally sucking his blood, coupled with the fact that he hasn’t been eating or smoking.

He was sitting almost lifelessly on the ground with his back on the wall when the wall screen suddenly came on.

No one is allowed to come in to see him here, but it’s possible to communicate from outside through the screen.

Romeo appeared on the screen, and he glared despite his pains.

“You look so pitiful, dear brother” Romeo said mockingly.

“Ain’t got no time for you bro” Rocco replied weakly, and Romeo laughed out mockingly.

“I could barely hear your voice! Heard you’d be spending three days in there with hunger strike, but you’re already like this after one day?” He clicked his tongue,but Rocco kept quiet.

“I can help you take care of Elettra when you get released” Romeo talked again.

“I don’t need your help” Rocco breathed out.

“You’d definitely need it, cos the one you fear more than me is back” Romeo replied, and Rocco looked up.

“You know who I’m talking about. He’s weaker than us, but you even fear him more than father… Yeah, it’s Royal, he’s back in Italy, obviously with the intention of snatching the organization off of our hands” Romeo said, and Rocco managed to stand 

“Royal is back?”

“Get a grip of yourself, we have to team up, Rocco” Romeo replied.

ELETTRA’S VILLA*

Elettra branched at a corporation to sign a contract on her way back from the castle, and that’s why she’s just returning right now, but immediately she arrived, she felt weird, someone is inside the house.

She stopped on her tracks and carefully dipped her hand into her bag, getting her gun.

She turned back at once, but her arms dropped when she saw who it is.

“Royal” she called, and he walked to her, hugging her immediately he got to her.

Her arms wrapped around him too, and they rested on each other.

“You shouldn’t come here during the day Royal, Romeo and your father found out you’re in Italy already, I eavesdropped on them earlier” she said, and he broke the hug.

“I was expecting that anyways. Rocco will almost pee on himself when he hears about it” 

“You still haven’t told me why he’s so scared of you” she said, and he held her face with an hand.

“Cos he knows I’m stronger than him, I was only laying low, pretending to be weak back then” he said.

“Why?”

“So they’d count me as irrelevant, I wanted to be the youngest baby there is, wanted to make them forget about me and think I’m powerless, and it worked. Romeo sent be out of Italy cos he claimed I was too weak to stay in the castle, father didn’t object to it cos he believed I was useless in the castle, and Rocco was the happiest cos a week before my departure, we dueled, and I won. I gave him a deep cut on his belly, and he has been scared of me since then. I guess he didn’t tell anyone” he replied, and she smiled.

“Still… You should be careful, and I don’t think Mia is doing well. I went to her room earlier and saw the doctor trying to bully her, but luckily she’s got a protector, a new guy” she replied.

“Franklin Bruno?” He said, and her eyes widened.

“You know Franklin?”

“Of course” he smiled dangerously.

COSTELLOS CASTLE*

The girls were busy working out in the gym, excluding Greta though.

Neptune and Azura are together as usual, and Tomboy is alone.

“Who do you think Mia is, to boss?” Neptune suddenly asked.

“I dunno too, all I know is she’s important to him, and he’d do anything to get her in here” Azura replied.

“I’ve been curious, what if she’s his daughter?” Neptune said.

“That can’t be, boss is not married”

“Says who? He once got married, but his wife was kidnapped and killed” Tomboy replied.

“Kidnapped and killed?” Neptune said.

“Yeah. Sergio kidnapped mother and daughter. He killed the mother and kept the daughter, just to torture boss” Tomboy said.

“That sounds strange” Azura said, and Greta came in.

“Finally found the driver’s weakness” she announced, and everyone faced her.

“He has a sick sis in the hospital” she said, and Azura swallowed hard.

‘Serafina’ she thought.

“I’m gonna start by killing her, if I can’t kill her I’d bring her here to boss. I need bonus” Greta smiled.

MARANZANOS CASTLE, SERGIO’S PALACE*

Franklin got a call to the palace from Sergio, and immediately he came in and saw him with Luciano, he knew something unpleasant was gonna happen.

He kept going till he got to Sergio and stopped. He didn’t bow as usual.

“You dare hurt Luciano? His life belongs to me and no one can hurt him without my permission!” Sergio shouted angrily.

“He tried to hurt Mia” he replied.

“And how is that your business! You aren’t here to save a life, you’re here to work for me and listen to my orders! I don’t scream like this to others cos it’s always judgement after sin, but I’m giving you an exception, it shouldn’t happen again, Franklin” Sergio said coldly.

“It’d happen again” Franklin replied bluntly, and Luciano’s eyes widened as Sergio stood.

“You said something?”

“It’d happen again so far Luciano keeps getting on my nerves, I swear” Franklin said again.
