Emily picked up the phone, she didn’t remember having Caden’s number, he definitely saved his number on her phone.
This would mean he was at the club yesterday and he even picked up her phone.
“Was he the one I bumped into?” She asked no one in particular.
Emily: Where you at the club yesterday?
Caden: How did I pick up your phone if I wasn’t?
Emily: Just asking.
Caden: stupid question.
Emily frowned at his reply. Caden Kingston is such an àsshole.
Emily: Are you stalking me or something?
Caden: as much as you wish for that to be true, I have better things to do, it was just a mere coincidence.
Emily: Then thank you for returning it.
Caden: nah.. a simple thank you won’t do.
Emily: What the hell? What did you want?
Caden: would tell you when the time comes, you should wear dresses like that often, it makes you look less boring.
Emily rolled her eyes at his message, she didn’t even bother replying, she simply dropped her phone on the bed and went to the bathroom to have her bath.

{HOTEL}
“Why did you ask me to come so early Mr. Kingston” Anna asked as she peeled her dress off her body.
“That’s because I am free this morning sweetheart, we can’t afford getting caught” Anthony licked his lips immediately Anna went n+ked in front of him
He was already as hard as a rock. Anna walked towards him s+ductively, Anthony was already n+ked as he sat on the bed.
Anna walked up to him and knelt in front of him, her hand stroked his d+k and Anthony groaned in pleasure.
“Use your mouth” he ordered and she smiled before taking him into her mouth, she pleasured him with her lips and it didn’t take minutes before Anthony c+mmed inside her mouth. “Swallow all of me” he ordered her and she gulped his sem+n down her throat.
That simple action of her made Anthony hard again, he quickly stood up and threw on the bed making her stand on all falls as he knelt behind her.
Without warning, he slammed into her hard and she m+aned in pleasure.
“I’m gonna f+k you hard, you dirty wh0re” he cursed as he banged her fast and hard.

Caden came down from his car and walked into his private elevator that led to his office, immediately the elevator doors opened, George came into view.
“You’re here early” George praised as Caden walked into his office.
George works as Caden personal assistant even though he didn’t need to, he just wants to do it cause he found it fun, Caden didn’t see a problem with it either so he agreed.
“Is he here yet?” Caden asked, referring to his father.
“Nope, the meeting is in an hour, let’s go over everything so it won’t flop when talking to the board members, you know your father would be against it” George informed.
“That’s why we’ve been preparing for months, there’s no way it won’t work, it doesn’t matter what my father thinks” Caden reassured.

{MEETING BOARDROOM}
Caden suggested that the Kingston company go into oil business to expand and he had already had everything planned out, it was the perfect plan and all the board members agreed to it but Anthony Kingston had something to say.
“The oil business won’t be successful till after a year or so, I suggest we don’t waste money on something that would take that much amount of time” Anthony said.
“That’s why I crafted this perfect plan, everything would be done in a matter of 7months at best” Caden retorted.
“I still think that’s too much time, if it can’t be done in 5months or so then we would leave that idea till next time” Anthony replied.
Caden frowned, his father knew that would be impossible, 5months is way too small.
“That’s just your opinion” Caden said, he hated the fact that he wasn’t the sole owner of Kingston company and he was only the COO not the CEO.
“True, let’s hear from the others” Anthony said, he knew the board would always favor him as he was older and more experienced than Caden but he didn’t expect Caden to be smarter, he already had a “talk” with every man sitting in this boardroom.
Most of the board members agreed to Caden’s idea and it was implemented, Anthony was furious with the outcome but he kept his composure till the meeting ended.
“Your father is furious” George whispered to Caden after the meeting.
“Music to my ears” Caden replied and George chuckled. They both left the boardroom.

{HALTER’S MEDIA}
Emily was on her lunch break and she was scrolling through her phone as she ate her lunch when Madison appeared beside her.
“I thought you lost your phone” Madison asked, she recognized the phone Emily was holding.
“Turns out it was in my dress pocket all along” Emily let the lie roll off her tongue.
She wasn’t about to tell Halter’s media gossip queen about her and Caden. Definitely not.
“Ohhhh that’s good,” Madison nodded.
“Where’s Felicia?” Emily asked.
“In Dubai” Madison said with a sad expression and Emily blinked.
“Was she trafficked?” Emily asked blinking and Madison’s eyes widened in surprise.
“What? Of course not! She is on a vacation with her boyfriend” Madison replied.
“Ohhh” Emily chuckled awkwardly.
“Gosh Emily, you’re unbelievable” Madison stated before chuckling.

{DAYS LATER~CHURCH~10AM}
Emily sat in front of the dressing mirror, her expression was neither sad nor happy but deep down she knew she wasn’t okay.
After all she was getting married, this wasn’t the life she planned for herself and Caden definitely wasn’t in it either.
Emily didn’t even get enough time to drown in her thoughts when her father came in.
“It’s time, let’s go” he said and Emily stood up, her wedding dress was beautiful but she couldn’t care less about how beautiful it was, her mom was the one who did all the wedding preparations whatsoever, she just came here to get married.
Emily followed her dad to the front door of the church and then the doors opened revealing the small church.
There weren’t many people, just important family members and friends, of course the wedding was planned within two weeks.
Emily and her father walked towards the altar where Caden stood, he had the same expression as Emily.
When they got to the altar, Harper let go of Emily and gave her to Caden.
The priest started the wedding and Emily felt her soul leaving her body bit by bit with each word that came out of the priest’s mouth.
Even her replies came out of her without her own accord because her brain cells weren’t in the church at the moment.
She only came back to reality when she saw Caden leaning in, she was going to push him away when she realized they were in a church getting married and she was about to kiss her newly wedded husband.
Caden only pecked her lips lightly and pulled away like she was an infection he didn’t want to contact, though Emily found it extremely offensive she was rather grateful he didn’t do more than he was supposed to.
The audience clapped and just like that she was married to Caden Kingston.

{CADEN’S HOUSE}
Turns out they didn’t even plan a reception, just a little gathering after the wedding at the church and Emily was taken to her husband’s house.
The ride to Caden’s place was very quiet, Caden was on his phone while Emily looked through the window wondering what her life would be like from now on.
She knew it won’t take months before the Media finds out about their wedding even though she told her parents to try their best to keep it discreet.
She is part of a Media company so she knows how things work, secret weddings like this won’t stay secret for long.
“Your things have been taken to your room ma’am” Emily heard a man in his late twenties say, he is the butler in Caden’s house.
“Would I be staying in a different room?” Emily asked and Caden turned to her.
“Of course, are you expecting us to share a room, Emily?” Caden asked with raised eyebrows.
This is the first time he is calling her by her name and Emily kind of likes the way it sounded coming from him but she immediately cringe at the thought.
“Abso-f+king-lutely not, we are only married in paper” Emily answered. “Show me to my room” she said to the butler.
“This way ma’am” he replied and walked towards the stairs while Emily followed.
Caden watched them go before he went to his room.
Emily walked into her room after the butler showed her. The size is bigger than her old room and it’s definitely more furnished with a walk in closet.
Emily couldn’t wait to get this dress off her, she has been struggling to breathe because of the corset her mother forced her to wear.
When Emily finally slipped out of it she let out a relieved breath and changed into something more comfortable.

Emily turned and tossed on the bed uncomfortably. No doubt, this bed is huge and soft, way better than the one she normally sleeps in but she couldn’t sleep.
This is her wedding night for heaven’s sake and she couldn’t sleep a wink, definitely because she is in a foreign place.
Emily stood up from the bed and walked out of her room, she decided to get a glass of water, maybe it would help her sleep.
As she made her way downstairs, she looked around for anyone. She didn’t want to get scared when she saw someone but she saw no one and made her way to the kitchen.
Emily took the glass of water and gulped the content, her eyes roamed through the neatly arranged and organized kitchen.
She is sure as hell Caden doesn’t have a hand in this amazing design, he doesn’t look like the type.
Emily dropped the glass neatly and turned to leave but she bumped into someone and she screamed. Caden, who was taken by surprise, quickly covers her mouth to stop the noise.
“Are you out of your mind?” He asked with a frown, slowly removing his hand from her mouth since she was humming inaudibly.
“You scared the shît out of me and you expect me not to scream?” Emily retorted angrily. “How did you walk without making a noise?” Emily added, her hand on her chest as she tried to calm her rapidly racing heart.
“Why are you here by this time, it’s 2am?” Caden ignored her question.
“I didn’t know I was supposed to tell you about everything I do” Emily rolled her eyes.
“Just because you can’t sleep doesn’t mean you’ll roam around in the middle of the night, if you need a tour, tell Luis to show you around in the daytime,” Caden said and walked past Emily to get something from the freezer.
“Can you be any less of an àsshole?” Emily scoffed before walking to her room while Caden took a bottle of coke, gulping the content.
This is his normal routine every night since he couldn’t sleep.

{NEXT DAY~CADEN’S OFFICE, 8AM}
Caden walked into his office and sat down on the chair tiredly, unlike other days he didn’t sleep at all throughout the night.
Normally he would sleep for at least an hour or two but last night was especially dreadful, he didn’t even see Emily this morning, she didn’t have breakfast before leaving because Luis told him she left very early and she seemed like she was in a hurry.
Not like he cared, Luis decided to feed him the information without him asking.
George entered Caden’s office with a smile. “Everything is in place and arrangements have been made, your father is gonna be so mad!” George chuckled. “You look tired, didn’t you sleep?” George asked worriedly.
“Nah… I’m fine. Heard from Anna?” Caden asked.
“Nope, she has been busy,” George replied. “Why are you suddenly asking about Anna? You’re not adding my girlfriend to your whóre list, you are married now, that reminds me, it’s just a day after your wedding and you’re at work, no honeymoon?” George asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Emily would rather stàb herself in the throat than go on a honeymoon with me” Caden scoffed and George smirked
“Really? So there’s a girl in New York that isn’t interested in getting Caden Kingston’s dick?” George asked and Caden glared at him.
“Aren’t you supposed to be working?” Caden asked with a frown.
“I can’t wait to see your new wife Cade”. George concluded before leaving Caden’s office and Caden rolled his eyes.

{HALTER’S MEDIA}
Madison and Emily walked out of their boss’s office and made their way to Emily’s work space.
Emily sat on her chair while Madison sat on Emily’s desk. “Zoey is in for a lot this evening and her movie premiere is coming out tomorrow” Madison sighed.
“She knew what she was getting into when she decided to become a stripper in a night club,” Emily replied.
“Makes me wonder how much actresses get paid, I guess it’s not that much,” Madison replied.
“I don’t really know, why are you on my desk? Don’t you have other things to do, we still have Nathan Pierce to dig into” Emily said and Madison grumbled.
“I hate Nathan, he is so annoying, we haven’t gotten anything interesting out of him for the past 3months now” Madison frowned.
“You can go grumble about Nathan on your desk, now get away from me, I really miss Felicia” Emily said.
“Well… Felicia isn’t here and you’re stuck with me so deal with it Mrs. Stone!” Madison retorted and came down from Emily’s desk.

[5PM]Emily was already getting ready to leave, she is done for the day and can’t wait to get back home but her excitement flushed down the toilet when she realized she was going to Caden’s house because she is unfortunately a married woman now.
“Damnit” she groaned as she packed her things into her purse.
“Emily!” Madison called as she walked up to her. “You know you’re my favorite colleague here right?” Madison smiled.
“What do you want?” Emily asked immediately and Madison sighed.
“Can you drop me off?” Madison asked.
“We aren’t even friends Madison, you’re only clinging to me because Felicia isn’t here” Emily replied.
“Well… Yeah… Obviously but we aren’t enemies either so can you help me” Madison asked with a sweet smile.
“Alright, let’s go” Emily replied and Madison leaped for joy.
They got to the parking lot with Madison talking about Felicia vacation and all, she wouldn’t stop talking as Emily drove to her place.
“We are here” Emily cut through Madison’s talk about how much she dislikes a colleague of theirs, Madison is a gossip queen, she knows everything about everyone in the company and that’s precisely the reason why Emily never got close to her.
“Thank you Ems, you’re the best!” Madison exclaimed before getting down from the car.
“You’re welcome” Emily replied and drove off.

When Emily got back, she was welcomed by Luis. “Would you like me to give you a tour around the house?” He asked her and she stopped in her tracks.
“I would love that but not today, thank you Luis” Emily replied with a smile before going to her room.
She took a shower and changed into something comfortable. Emily walked downstairs to cook something to eat. She didn’t know if Caden had any maids because she had never seen any of them, just Luis, his butler.
She won’t be surprised if his parents stopped him from having maids because she is sure he would stick his d+k in all of them.
When Emily got to the kitchen she searched for groceries so she would make something when Luis appeared before her.
“What can I help you with?” He asked and Emily blinked.
“I’m just hungry and I want to make something to eat,” Emily replied with an awkward smile.
“Ohh then let me handle that” Luis offered.
“No, don’t worry, I can do it myself” Emily dismissed. “I would call you when I need you,” she added.
“Alright” Luis stepped back and left the kitchen.
Emily only knows how to make pasta, she isn’t the cooking type, she hardly enters the kitchen in her parent’s house, their maid, Loretta does everything.
So Emily made pasta, since it was fast and easy to cook, she thought about leaving some for Caden but she had a feeling he wouldn’t want to eat her food but she kept it anyway because she was a nice person.
Emily ate her food and cleared the table, she washed the dirty dishes and walked into the living room.
She sat on the couch and took her phone, the news on Zoey Sanders has already made its way all over New York and her new movie premiere has been postponed till further notice.
It wasn’t surprising because the lead actress in that movie has been uncovered as a stripper for a night club, quite the big scandal for an actress.
Emily felt bad for Zoey in a way but that’s her job, if Zoey didn’t want things to go like this then she shouldn’t have done what she did.
Emily was still on her phone when Caden walked in, she looked up at him and he stared back at her.
Emily’s hair was in a messy bun and she was wearing slacks and a huge shirt.
Emily noticed Caden’s stare and she looked down at her clothes, she wondered what was wrong, he didn’t expect her to dress over the moon when she’s at home.
“Is something on my face?” Emily asked.
“I’m just surprised you’re here, I expect you to lock yourself up in your room” Caden replied.
“I won’t leave like a prisoner in my husband’s house, I am also surprised you came back by this time, I expect you to be in a hotel somewhere” Emily retorted and Caden frowned.
He felt offended by Emily’s statement.
“I am a lot of things Emily but not a cheater” Caden said before walking to his room.
The statement gave Emily some kind of warmth, at least her husband won’t cheat on her but she noticed the anger in his voice.
Was what she said offensive? He couldn’t blame her though, everyone knows Caden’s reputation.

Emily stood in front of the door with a confused face, she didn’t know whether to knock on the door or just walk away.
She raised her hand to knock but retreated and sighed.
She had no idea what possessed her to walk to Caden’s room by this time but here she is in front of the door.
She noticed he hasn’t eaten yet and she was going to apologize for what she said even though what she said is completely justified.
Emily gathered enough strength to knock again but before her hand could reach the door, it flew open and she flinched in fright, losing her footing, she fell backwards but Caden held her by the waist, pulling her close to himself.
