Isabella’s POV
I yawned as I opened my eyes. I glanced at the wall clock and saw it was 11:09 am. I can’t believe I over slept.
I glanced around the room but Jayden was no where to be found.
“I wonder where he is” I said in my head and sighed.
I climbed down the bed , went to the bathroom , brushed my teeth and took my bath.
Immediately I walked out of the bathroom , I dried my body , applied my lotion. I walked inside my closet and put on a jean trouser and black top. I stepped inside my slippers, brushed my hair and walked out of my room to the kitchen.
I glanced around the kitchen to see if there’s any food because I was damn hungry but too bad there was none.
Shit I almost forget Jayden gave the maids a leave.
I scratched my head thinking of what to do. I walked to the fridge and opened it to see if there was anything eatable.
Gosh, nothing just fruits and raw foods.
I can’t eat just fruits.
” Oh God I can’t cook ” I muttered in my head.
” There’s no harm in trying ” I said and brought out pasta.
I opened my phone and went to YouTube and searched ” HOW TO COOK PASTA “.
I clicked on the video. Just as I was about to watch it, the phone battery died down.
Oh boy I’m doomed. I guess I’ll stay hungry all throughout today.
What if Jayden comes back and says he’s hungry , what will he eat?.
As a wife it’s my responsibility to cook for my husband but I can’t cook 🥺.
” Argh “, I sighed in frustration as I placed the empty pot on the fire.
” What next? ” , I said in my head…
” Maybe I should call crystal so she can tell me how to cook pasta and sauce “, I said in my head as I went to the sitting room and picked up the landline and dialled her number.
📞 Hey Isa good morning.
….. Crystal yelled over the phone.
📞 Good morning.
…. I smiled.
📞 Awwn you’re smiling , tell me he’s broken the hymen.
….. She said and I frowned.
📞 OMG you guys did it.
…… She yelled and I quickly removed the phone from my ear.
📞 Idiot do you want to deaf my ear.
…. I yelled back.
📞 I’m really happy for you baby. I knew you would call me to tell me he broke it.
…… She said
📞 We haven’t done anything idiot. Argh you’re so annoying. I called you for something else.
…… I said.
📞 Huh?. What???
….. She said.
📞 You see Jayden is not at home and I’m damn hungry. He gave the maids some days off.
….. I said.
📞 Okay but why are you telling me this. can’t you cook??
….. She asked in a mocking tone.
📞 Stop it crystal. You know I can’t that’s why I called you can you please tell me how to make pasta.
…… I said.
📞 you’re a fool Isabella. Do I look or sound like someone who can cook. Idiot.
…… She muttered and I sighed.
📞 I thought you were learning how to cook from nanny?.
….. I asked and sighed again.
📞 I couldn’t. Cooking is too stressful.
…. She said and hissed.
📞 Whatever!!!!
…..I said and ended the call.
” Shit “, I caused as I saw smoke coming out from the kitchen.

I left the gas on with the empty pot on it.
I quickly run to the kitchen coughing as I switched the gas off.
I opened the windows before exiting the kitchen.
” Why is there smoke everywhere “, I heard a voice say from behind.
Twas Jayden.
He just came back.
He was putting on a black trouser, white shirt, black jacket and a black canvas.
” I wonder where he went to dressed up like this “, I said in my head staring at him.
” Hey are you alright. Why is there smoke everywhere “, he asked as he held my hands.
” Were you hurt?”, He asked worriedly.
” Yes yes I’m fine “, I stammered.
” Argh “, he breath out and sighed.
” But why’s there smoke everywhere “, he asked.
” Ummm I..I.. tried cooking I’m hungry but empty pot… fire….I mean ermm “
” Hey calm down and talk to me. Ok I get you were hungry so you tried cooking and ended up cooking smoke “, he said and bit his lower lips trying not to laugh.😂
I swallowed hard as my eyes welled up in tears. It’s a shame I can’t even cook and he’s laughing at me.
” Hey why are you crying. Stop that you gonna ruin your beautiful face “, he said and wiped my tears.
” I don’t know how to cook “, I said and sniffed.
” shhhh “, he said and placed his hands On my lips.
” It’s not a crime if you can’t cook. If you’re worried about what I’m going to eat , I’m telling you now not to worry. “You are reading from www.mhiztaemy.com.ng” I understand the fact that you came from a rich family and you guys doesn’t fancy anything that concerns cooking because the maids does all that. Right??”, He asked and I nodded in reply.
” Okay and now you’re married to me and you’re worried. Well as your husband I’m telling you not to worry because as far as you’re married to me I’ll teach you what you couldn’t learn from your parents house be it cooking or anything “, he said and smiled as he carried me in a bridal style moving to the dining.
” Do you know why “, he asked as he dropped me on top the dining table.
” No “, I nodded in reply.
” Because I love you “, he said and i blushed.
This isn’t the first time this guy is telling me he loves me, what if he meant what he’s saying or is he playing with my feelings.
I can’t believe him he was the one that even told me that I shouldn’t fall in love with him and now he’s telling me he love me.
” Impossible!!!!!!” , I thought in my head.
” You know they say the way to man’s heart is his belle but you found a way into my heart without my belle Isabella. I don’t know how to say this Isabella. I don’t know what you did to me, ion know if you’ve possessed me “, he said and my eyes welled up in tears.
” Why am I getting emotional all of a sudden ” I said in my head and sniffed.
” I’m repeating this ion know what you did to me, right from the first day I met you was the day I.. “, he paused and sighed.
“I can’t hide this anymore Isabella. I’m deeply in love with you”, he said as more tears slide down my cheeks.
” I’m sorry stop crying. I bought something so you can eat. I’ll enrol you in a cooking school if I can’t teach you “, he said and help me sit as he wiped my tears.
” Ok why is he apologizing now? ” I said in my head.
” Umm my father called we will be attending a conference meeting tomorrow “, he said and I nodded in reply…..

~ Two days later ~
I laid on the bed waiting for Jayden to come join me on the bed but too bad he’s not at home. He’s not yet back. I won’t lie I really miss him.
I don’t know it’s like I’m getting used to him staying by my side.
Whenever he’s by my side I don’t know there’s always this feeling I get , so I explained to my sisters on phone and they told me it’s love.
So I have come to realize I really love him and he loves me too.
I sighed and cuddled my pillow.
Just then I heard the door opened.
” Jayden “, I called as he entered the room holding a small bag.
” Hey I go something for you “,
He said and pecked my cheeks.
” Huh!!!”, I exclaimed and sat properly on the bed.
” Close your eyes “, he said and I did without arguing.
Just then I felt his hands on my neck.
” Open your eyes “, he said and I did. I looked at my neck only to find a necklace on my neck. Not just any necklace . A diamond one , an expensive one at that. I have been admiring this necklace and was planning to get it but how..
Oh God I’m so happy right now.

I said and smiled..
” You like it “, he asked and held my hands smiling.
” I don’t like it Jayden I love it “, I said smiling in return.
” Well this is not the only suprise I have got “, he said and carried me from the bed.
” Jayden “, I giggled as we climbed down the stairs….
We got outside and he dropped me in front of a car.
” Where’s the suprise “, I asked looking around and he threw a car key at me.
” That car is yours “, he said pointing at the car behind us.
” Mine “, I yelled and jumped up in suprise.
I ran to where the car is looking around it.
“Oh God Jayden this car is more than expensive”, I yelled in happiness as I jumped on him kissing him hard all around his face.
” Hey “, he smiled and held me as I jumped on him.
” I love you Jayden “, I said and claimed his lips.
” I love you too “, he said and deepened the kiss.
After what seems like eternity we disengaged from the kiss.
” Happy birthday”, he whispered to my ear.
Oh God I..I.. it’s my birthday and I forgot…
” Awwwn ☺️ Jayden thanks for the wishes and birthday gift “, I said as I sniffed.
” Well I came to realize our birthday fell on the same date , so today is my birthday too “, he said and I yelled at once.

What a coincidence.!!!.
” Happy birthday “, I said and hugged him.
” Just like that won’t I get a gift from you “, he said in a whisper and I chuckled. Just then an idea came into my head.
” I think I have one “, I said and dragged him inside with both of giggling.
” Stay here I’ll be back “, I said and made him sit on the couch in the living room.
I ran upstairs and went to my closet. Brought out a very light night gown. I pulled my clothes and under wear before changing into the braless gown. I glanced at myself in the mirror..
No doubt I look hot in this night gown.
I smiled and exited the room. I climbed down the stairs gently In a romantic way😉.
Immediately Jayden saw me, he stood up with his mouth wide opened.
” Isabella “, he called in a whisper. This Time I was already close to him.
” Jayden “, I called a little bit nervous.
” Huh “, he said in reply.
” I’m ready”.
