Trevor paced back and forth in front of the operating room, his hands shaking, eyes glassy. He was on the verge of breaking completely.

Morgan had lost so much blood before they got hereโ€”too much.

โ€œDude, relax. Iโ€™m sure sheโ€™ll be alright,โ€ Gomez said from the chair, though even he didnโ€™t sound fully convinced.

โ€œHow am I supposed to relax when I donโ€™t even know whatโ€™s happening to her in there right now?โ€ Trevor snapped, voice cracking.

โ€œShe took that bullet for me! Sheโ€”she shouldn’t have done that ! I hate myself so much.โ€ His voice broke, tears finally spilling down his face.

โ€œYou really think sheโ€™d want you blaming yourself?โ€ Gomez replied calmly. โ€œMorganโ€™s a fighter. Sheโ€™s strong. Sheโ€™ll make it out of this.โ€

โ€œTrevor! Trevor!โ€ Corazon came running into the ward like sheโ€™d sprinted across the whole city, eyes already red.

Anthony and Gael were right behind her, out of breath.

โ€œHowโ€™s Morgan? Howโ€™s my baby doing?โ€ Corazon cried.

โ€œThe doctors havenโ€™t come out yet,โ€ Trevor said quietly.

โ€œWhat happened?โ€ Anthony asked, already bracing himself.

โ€œWeโ€ฆ we were on a mission. Itโ€™s all my fault. That bullet was meant for me.โ€ Trevor wiped his face, but the tears kept coming.

โ€œDonโ€™t blame yourself, Trevor. None of this is your fault,โ€ Gael said firmly.

The doctor finally stepped out of the operating room, and everyone rushed toward him at once.

โ€œDoctor, howโ€™s my daughter?โ€ Gael demanded, breath unsteady.

โ€œWeโ€™re still in the process,โ€ the doctor said. โ€œShe lost a great deal of blood. Weโ€™re out of matching blood bags, and the hospital currently has none in stock. I need her parents to donate immediately.โ€

โ€œAlright, doctor. Letโ€™s get going,โ€ Gael said, already stepping forward.

โ€œYouโ€ฆ donโ€™t have to bother, Gael.โ€
Corazonโ€™s voice stopped him cold.

Gael turned to her sharply. โ€œWhat are you saying? Can you keep our malice aside? Our daughter is in danger.โ€

โ€œItโ€™s notโ€ฆ malice,โ€ Anthony said quietly. โ€œSheโ€™s not your daughter, Gael. So your blood isnโ€™t needed.โ€

The words landed like a bomb.

Gael froze. โ€œWhat?โ€

Anthony faced the doctor. โ€œDoctor, Corazon and Iโ€”weโ€™re Morganโ€™s real parents. Weโ€™ll donate.โ€

Gaelโ€™s eyes widened, shock slicing through him. โ€œCorazonโ€ฆ what is all this?โ€

Corazon looked at him, guilt heavy on her face but determination stronger. โ€œIโ€™m sorryโ€ฆ but my daughterโ€™s life is on the line.โ€

Without waiting for another word, she turned and followed Anthony and the doctor into the other ward section.

Gael stood rooted to the spot, breath shaking, the truth echoing in the hallway like a slap.

Gael stared at Trevor, waitingโ€ฆ hoping heโ€™d say something different. Something that didnโ€™t hurt.

But Trevor only nodded.

โ€œYes. Sheโ€™s my fatherโ€™s daughterโ€ฆ weโ€™re step-siblings. Iโ€™m sorryโ€ฆโ€

Gaelโ€™s throat tightened.
He felt the world shift under his feet.

โ€œโ€ฆDoes Morgan know?โ€ His voice broke. โ€œDoes she know Iโ€™m not her real father?โ€

Trevor hesitated, then gave a slow, guilty nod.

Something inside Gael cracked.

He stepped back like someone had punched the air out of him. His eyes went distantโ€”like he was suddenly watching his entire life collapse in slow motion.

All the yearsโ€ฆ
All the birthdaysโ€ฆ
All the nights he stayed awake when she had feverโ€ฆ
Every fight, every stubborn moment, every time he had a misunderstanding with her, even when she glared and rolled her eyes at him.

None of it was pretend.
None of it was fake.
He loved her. More than his own life.

But she wasnโ€™t his.

A shaking breath escaped him as he pressed a hand to his forehead.

โ€œSheโ€ฆ sheโ€™s my daughterโ€ฆโ€ he whispered, voice trembling. โ€œI raised her. I watched her grow. Howโ€”how could theyโ€ฆ?โ€

His vision blurred.

Trevor moved closer, worried, but Gael lifted a hand, stopping him. His eyes glistened with a depth of pain he hadnโ€™t shown in years.

โ€œWhy didnโ€™t she tell me?โ€ he choked.
โ€œWhy didnโ€™t anyone tell me?โ€

He swallowed a sob, clenched his jaw, and turned awayโ€”because if he stayed another second, heโ€™d break down in front of everyone.

Without another word, Gael walked out of the waiting area, his steps heavyโ€ฆ slowโ€ฆ like a man carrying a lifetime of heartbreak on his shoulders.

He didnโ€™t look back.

โ˜…๐Œ๐ˆ๐€- ๐‡๐š๐๐ž๐ฌ ๐’๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐žโ˜…

Steam curled around the bathroom as Bluey stood still, letting Hades peel off her blood-stained clothes with careful, trembling hands.

He was already shirtless, jaw tight, eyes dark with worry that he didnโ€™t bother to hide.

โ€œHades,โ€ she whispered, lifting his chin so he would meet her gaze, โ€œI told youโ€”itโ€™s not my blood. Iโ€™m fine.โ€

His throat worked, but he didnโ€™t speak.

When she was completely bare, he stepped back only to turn on the shower. Water cascaded down instantly, warm and heavy.

He guided her under it like she was something fragile, his palms smoothing over her arms, her waist, her backโ€”almost like he needed to feel every inch to be sure she was really here.

Bluey rested her hands on his chest, feeling his heartbeat racing.

โ€œI wanna be with you always,โ€ he said quietly, voice deeper, softer than she had ever heard it.

โ€œMe too,โ€ she breathed.

โ€œI was worried out of my mind,โ€ he admitted, forehead pressing against hers.

โ€œI know you can handle yourself, I know that… but I hate seeing you in danger. I wish I could pull you out of all this chaos. Just keep you somewhere safe. With me.โ€

Her fingers slid up to his neck, pulling him closer.

โ€œTouch me,โ€ she whispered. โ€œI want you to.โ€

Something in him snappedโ€”the restraint, the fear, the tension. His hands traveled over her soaked skin, slow at first, reverent, almost shaking with how much he cared.

He kissed her shoulder, her neck, her lips, like she was the only thing tethering him to the world.

The water hit their bodies as he held her tighter, lifting her slightly as if he couldnโ€™t get her close enough.

His touch turned hungry, worshipful, laced with that fierce devotion only Hades could have.

โ€œBlueyโ€ฆโ€ he murmured against her skin, voice breaking just a little. โ€œDonโ€™t ever leave me.โ€

And he touched herโ€”like she was his sanctuary, like he was terrified to lose her, like loving her was the only thing keeping him sane.

The water poured warm over them, steam curling around their skin.

Blueyโ€™s back hit the cold marble wall as Hades lifted her effortlessly, his hands gripping her thighs with a hunger that had nothing to do with violence โ€” only need.

Her breath hitched when he jerked her up to his waist.

His lips crashed against hers, deep and slow but desperate.

He kissed her like she was the only thing keeping him alive, his tongue sliding into her mouth as his hands kneaded her hips.

Then he pulled back, eyes dark, pupils blown.
He lowered his head and wrapped his mouth around her nipple, sucking hard, his teeth grazing just enough to make her gasp.

โ€œHadesโ€”โ€ her voice trembled.

โ€œMy shoulderโ€ฆโ€ he murmured against her skin.

โ€œHuhโ€”?โ€

Before she could finish, he lifted her higher, so fast she gasped until her legs were hooked over his shoulders.

His face was right between her thighs.

โ€œHades, waitโ€ฆ Iโ€”โ€

โ€œShh,โ€ he whispered, looking up at her with that insane soft, devoted expression that belonged to nobody else but her.

Then he kissed the inside of her thigh.

Slow. Possessive.

And then, her breath stopped as his mouth pressed against her cunt.

A soft first kiss.
Then a deeper one.
Then he opened her with his tongue, sucking her clit gently before dragging his tongue all the way up her slit.

She bucked.

โ€œHades… Hadesโ€” oh my Godโ€”โ€

He held her thighs down harder, tightening his grip so she couldnโ€™t run from the pleasure.

His tongue circled her, slow at first, then rougher, hungrier.
He sucked her clit deep into his mouth, pulling a helpless shout out of her.

Bluey grabbed his hair, fingers tangled desperately, pulling, shaking.

โ€œDonโ€™t stopโ€” donโ€™t stopโ€” Hadesโ€”โ€ she cried, tears slipping down her cheeks from the intensity.

He moaned against her pussy, the vibration shooting through her entire body.

Her legs trembled around his head as he devoured her โ€” like she was his oxygen, his obsession, his addiction.

And he kept going.

Soft.
Then rough.
Then absolutely sinful.

Blueyโ€™s head fell back against the wall, her voice breaking.

โ€œHadesโ€” Hades pleaseโ€”โ€

He looked at her with wet lips, chin shining with her slick, a dark, wicked smile stretching across his face.

โ€œPlease what? Please what, Mi Ruina?โ€ he asked, voice deep and taunting as he licked the corner of his mouth.

Blueyโ€™s chest rose and fell violently. Her thighs trembled around his shoulders, still shaking from the way he devoured her.

โ€œIโ€™m soโ€”f+ked up right nowโ€ฆโ€ she whispered, eyes half-lidded, lips swollen.
โ€œI want you… I want your cock in my mouth. I want to taste you. I want toโ€ฆ please you too. Right now.โ€

That look in Hadesโ€™ eyes turned feral.

Without a word, he slid his hands under her thighs, lifting her off his shoulders and placing her gently on her feet.

Her knees nearly buckled, but he held her jaw, steadying her.

She sank to her knees willingly.

Hadesโ€™ cock stood right in front of herโ€”
hard, veiny, thick, the head flushed and dripping.

It twitched at the sight of her kneeling, completely undone and needy.

He brushed her hair back, fingers slow and possessive.

โ€œThink you can satisfy this hungry bad boy?โ€ he murmured, his thumb stroking her cheek, dragging across her lower lip.

She smiled up at himโ€”sinful, submissive, hungry.

โ€œLetโ€™s find out,โ€ she whispered, wrapping her hand around the base of him as she leaned in.

Blueyโ€™s mouth wrapped around him again and his entire body jerked.

Her lips slid down his thick, veiny length, wet and tight, swallowing him deeper each time.

Hades groaned low, guttural, both hands in her hair as he guided her head, his hips pushing forward without restraint.

โ€œBlueyโ€ฆ f+kโ€”Blueyโ€ฆโ€ he hissed, head falling back as he felt her throat tighten around him.

She took him deeper. Harder. Her nails dug into his thighs. Saliva ran down her chin as she worked him like she was starved.

Hadesโ€™ grip tightened in her hair, almost desperate, thrusting into the heat of her mouth. Every move from her tongue sent a violent shiver up his spine. His thighs tensed.

He was close.

Too close.

His cock swelled in her mouth and just as he was about to release, she pulled offโ€”quick, pressing her thumb to his tip to block it.

His entire body snapped.

โ€œBlueyโ€”!โ€ He staggered forward, breathless, eyes blown wide and dark. โ€œAre you…are you toying with me right now? I was about to cumโ€ฆโ€

His voice broke with frustration. She only smiled up at him, wicked and slow, stroking him with her palm.

Just that touch made his knees nearly give out, his cock twitching violently in her hand.

โ€œRelax,โ€ she whispered, dragging her thumb over him again.

Hadesโ€™ eyes darkened dangerously. โ€œSuck itโ€ฆโ€

โ€œBeg.โ€ She smirked.

He clenched his jaw, trying to keep controlโ€”but she leaned forward and licked the head slowlyโ€ฆ then pulled away again.

His control shattered.

โ€œF+kโ€ฆ Blueyโ€ฆโ€ he groaned, hand slamming against the wall for balance. โ€œPlease suck my c+k. Pleaseโ€ฆโ€

โ€œGood boy.โ€

She took him back in her mouthโ€”this time rougher, deeper, obscene. Her head moved fast, her throat clutching around him, her tongue pressing every sensitive spot.

Hades was losing his mind, gasping her name, dragging her hair but unable to control the pleasure ripping through him.

โ€œIโ€™m…f+k, Iโ€™m c+mming….โ€ His voice cracked, raw with need.

He yanked her head off at the last second, his release exploding in thick, hot ropes across her lips, her cheek, her chestโ€”Hades breathing hard, shaking, watching every drop spill out of him.

And Bluey just looked up at himโ€ฆ smiling like she owned him.

Bluey was already on the bed, casually eating, when Hades reentered the room with his phone in hand.

He sat beside her, still slightly breathless from the shower and from whatever messages heโ€™d been answering.

โ€œYou said you wanted to talk to me?โ€ he asked, leaning back on one hand.

โ€œYeah,โ€ she said, chewing, annoyed expression simmering in her eyes.

โ€œAboutโ€ฆ whatโ€™s her name again? She came here earlier this morning and started spewing nonsense about taking you from me.โ€

Hades blinked once. โ€œMavka?โ€

โ€œExactly. The audacity of that machine,โ€ Bluey scoffed.

โ€œCalm down,โ€ he murmured. โ€œNo need to make a fuss. Sheโ€™s just an AI.โ€

โ€œStill,โ€ Bluey huffed, dropping her spoon. โ€œShe pissed me off. And she tried to pick a fight with me.โ€

That changed him instantly. His shoulders straightened, his jaw locked, and that protective darkness rolled through his eyes like a storm.

โ€œDid she touch you?โ€ His voice dropped, sharp and dangerous.

โ€œYes. Bi+ch really tried to fight meโ€”what an asshole.โ€

Hades exhaled slow, the kind of breath that meant trouble for someone.

โ€œJust eat your food,โ€ he said quietly. โ€œIโ€™ll handle it.โ€

Gael was in the living room.
The place was a wreck, bottles everywhere, half-empty glasses, alcohol soaked into the rug.

And Gael himselfโ€ฆ he looked worse than the house. Shirt wrinkled, hair a mess, eyes red from crying and drinking nonstop.

Maureen walked in with grocery bags, stopped dead, then slowly put the bags down, staring at the disaster.

“Gael! What are you doing?” she rushed to him, trying to take the bottle from his hand.

He yanked it back, shaking.

“They hurt me! Those bastards really hurt me!” Gael shouted, voice cracking.

“What did Corazon and Anthony do this time?” Maureen asked, confused and already tense.

Gael suddenly dropped to his knees, the bottle clattering beside him. Actual tears โ€” heavy, broken , streamed down his face.

“Gael?” Maureen quickly went to him, kneeling at his side.

“She’s not my daughter!” he choked out.

Maureen froze.
“Huh? What? What are you saying?!”

“I said, Morgan’s not my daughter!!” Gael screamed, grabbing the bottle and smashing it against the wall.

Glass scattered everywhere.

Maureen flinched hard, covering her mouth in shock.

“She’s not mineโ€ฆ” Gael sobbed, voice shaking violently. “She’s Anthonyโ€™s daughter.”

Maureen looked shattered, unable to speak for a moment.

“After everything I did for that woman!” Gaelโ€™s voice cracked into pure rage. “Not only did she cheat on me, she had a child with him! I want to kill her!”

His hands trembled, his tears mixing with fury as he leaned forward, breaking apart completely.

Gaelโ€™s arms suddenly wrapped around Maureenโ€™s waist, dragging himself into her as if he were trying to keep from drowning.

His face pressed into her stomach, shoulders shaking violently with every broken breath he let out.

โ€œGaelโ€ฆโ€ Maureen whispered, startled but already lowering herself enough to embrace him.

She placed both hands on his back, smoothing over the tense ridges of muscle as he sobbed harder.

โ€œHeyโ€ฆ hey, itโ€™s okay. Iโ€™m here, Iโ€™m right here.โ€

โ€œI have no one left!โ€ Gael cried, voice ripping straight from his chest.

โ€œNobody! Nobody!โ€ His fingers clutched her shirt, curling into tight fists like he was terrified she would disappear too.

Maureenโ€™s heart cracked.

She kept rubbing his back, slow, firm strokes, grounding him. โ€œGaelโ€ฆ look at me.โ€

He didnโ€™t move.

โ€œGael,โ€ she said again, softer. Her palm slid up to the back of his head. โ€œIโ€™m still here. Iโ€™m practically not going anywhere.โ€

He froze.

Slowlyโ€ฆ painfullyโ€ฆ he lifted his face. His eyes were swollen, red, desperateโ€”like a man whoโ€™d finally shattered after holding too much for too long.

โ€œDonโ€™t leave me,โ€ he whispered, voice barely holding itself together. โ€œPleaseโ€ฆ please, Maureen. Donโ€™t leave me.โ€

Her throat tightened. She cupped his face gently, guiding him up to his feet.

โ€œI wonโ€™t,โ€ she said, steady, solidโ€”everything he wasnโ€™t in that moment. โ€œCome onโ€ฆ letโ€™s get you to your room.โ€

Gael leaned heavily on her as she helped him stand.

His legs shook, his weight slumped against her, but she kept her arm around him, holding him up as if he was the only thing that mattered.

Maureen gently pulled the duvet over Gael, tucking it around his shoulders.
He lay there on the bed, eyes red, lashes still wet, breathing uneven from crying.

He looked nothing like the composed, strict Gael the world always saw. He lookedโ€ฆ broken.

Maureen sat on the edge of the bed and exhaled shakily, staring at him for a long moment.

โ€œYour life really is fucked up, being a billionaire doesn’t spare you life crap.โ€ She muttered softly, brushing her thumb along his chin.

Her touch was light but full of pity โ€” and anger on his behalf.
โ€œPoor you. That wife of yours really is an asshole.โ€

Gaelโ€™s eyelids fluttered, as if the words hit somewhere deep inside.
He didnโ€™t speak. He couldnโ€™t.

Maureen let out a tired sigh, stood up slowly, and took one last look at him.

Then she turned and quietly walked out of the room, closing the door behind her.

Sergio and Hyce had just returned from the hospital; Hyceโ€™s wound had already been treated. They were both standing in the dining area with Bluey.

“You really got the key?” Sergio asked, eyeing her.

“Yes.” Bluey handed the key over to him.

“So, itโ€™s a success, right? We can open the vault?” Hyce asked, relief in his voice.

“Yes. I suggest we do it tonight. The earlier we find out whatโ€™s inside, the better,” Sergio said, his mind already racing with plans.

“Wonโ€™t it be risky?” Hyce frowned.

“They donโ€™t suspect a traitor in the Academy, so thereโ€™s no extra caution or security. Itโ€™s best we move early. Once weโ€™re back, we can figure out who Joker really is,” Sergio explained.

“And Hinata also said something about his brother bringing clients to MIA,” Sergio added.

“Clients?” Hyce raised an eyebrow.

“Yes. Seems like MIA is running an underground business, and thatโ€™s what weโ€™re supposed to find out,” Sergio said.

“Okay,” Hyce nodded, digesting the information.

Hyce glanced at Sergio, a soft smile tugging at his lips.

Bluey winked at them, smirking.

“Iโ€™ll leave you two to continue your lovey-dovey,” she teased, walking out.

“You hungry?” Sergio asked, stretching as he moved toward the stairs.

“No. Didn’t we just eat before coming back?” Hyce replied, following him.

“Yeah, sure,” Sergio said with a smirk, shrugging off his shirt as they entered the room.

Hyce bit his lips, eyes drinking in Sergioโ€™s toned frame.

Sergio sat on the edge of the bed, turning to face him. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

“You lookโ€ฆ so s+y,” Hyce admitted, his voice low and husky.

“Really?” Sergio raised an eyebrow, a playful grin tugging at his lips.

“Yeah,” Hyce whispered, stepping closer.

Their space shrank until there was no room between them, their breaths mingling. Without thinking, they leaned in, lips meeting in a heated, hungry kiss.

Hands roamed, tugging at clothes, undoing buttons and zippers in a rush, until they were both breathless and bare against each other.

Sergioโ€™s eyes flicked down to the wound at Hyceโ€™s side.

“Your woundโ€ฆ” he murmured, worry lacing his tone.

“Itโ€ฆ doesnโ€™t hurt that much,” Hyce said, brushing it off with a tense chuckle.

Sergioโ€™s gaze darkened with desire as he asked, “Top or bottom?”

Hyce swallowed hard.

“Why are you asking?” Hyce murmured, his cheeks flushed.

“Last time, you were the bottomโ€ฆ do you want to do that again, or should I always take the lead? Is it official?” Sergio asked, voice low and teasing.

Hyce swallowed hard, a shy smile tugging at his lips. “Yeahโ€ฆ I donโ€™t mind. You can take the lead.”

Sergio grinned, stepping closer, their bodies pressed together. “

The two of them moved together, hands exploring, lips brushing, and hearts racing.

Sergio held him close, guiding him, while Hyce shivered under his touch, moaning softly, completely lost in the warmth and closeness.

“Okay then, get on all fours.”Sergio said and Hyce obeyed.

Sergio moved away from the bed to the cabinet.

“Wanna use condom?”Sergio asked pulling open the drawers.

“No…I…like it raw. Just like last time.”Hyce said lowly.

Sergio nodded moving to the bed.

Sergio stroked his c+k, lubricating it with the oil in the container as well as Hyce’s ass.

He positioned himself behind Hyce, holding his hips steady.

“F+k.”Sergio groaned as he slowly drove into Hyce.

“Ahh.”Hyce moaned out.

Sergio’s dragged his hair, pulling him up, his back against his chest.

Sergio drove in slowly and carefully, enjoying how warm Hyce felt against him, trying not to be too rough cause if Hyce’s stab wounds.

“Harderโ€ฆ a little faster,” Hyce breathed, voice trembling with desire.

โ€œDon’t be greedy, I’m trying not to hurt you here.โ€ Sergio groaned in his ear.

“So you couldn’t get the key?” Miss Dora asked.

“No. No sight of it. I doubt it’s even in the building at all,” Hades replied.

“Alright. We’ll keep trying. At least the vault is still secured with your fingerprint.”

The door slid open.

Mavka walked in with her usual calm, expression unreadable.
“You sent for me, Hades?”

She barely got two steps closer before Hadesโ€™ hand shot out. His fingers clamped around her throat, lifting her before slamming her into the wall.

“Hades!!” Miss Dora shouted.

Mavka winced, pain flickering across her features. Her breath hitched; her eyes glared back at him, sharp and furious.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” Mavka rasped, holding her throat.

“Did you touch Bluey?” Hadesโ€™ voice was dangerously low.

“Ohโ€ฆ I see.” She scoffed lightly. “Your little miss perfect already ran to complain.”

He moved again โ€” faster, harsher. His hand wrapped around her throat a second time, pressing her back into the wall.

“Don’t make me regret you,” he growled.

Her eyes widened, then narrowed.

“You want to destroy me? Go ahead,” she snapped.

“But you know damn well the chip inside your skull is synced with my destruction. The moment I go down, you die with me.”

Hades froze.

His grip slowly loosenedโ€ฆ then dropped completely.

Mavka rubbed her neck, stunned for the first time.

“I can see it now,” she said quietly. “Even you get scared of dying.”

He shot her a dark, lethal look.

“Push me again, Mavkaโ€ฆ and chip or no chip, Iโ€™ll find a way to end you even if it kills me..”

Her breath caught โ€” she didnโ€™t expect that tone, that seriousness.

Hades turned and walked out without another word.

Miss Dora exhaled shakily. Mavka stood still, eyes wide, chest rising and falling with a mix of shock.

โ˜…๐‹๐จ๐œ๐ข’๐ฌ ๐‘๐จ๐จ๐ฆโ˜…

Lociโ€™s room was calm that afternoon. He sat on the bed, back against the headboard, while Nia lay comfortably beside him with her head resting on his thigh, lazily scrolling through her phone and occasionally glancing up at him.

On the carpeted floor near the foot of the bed, Natalie sat cross-legged, slowly piecing together a half-finished puzzle sheโ€™d been working on since morning.

She hummed softly, completely absorbed in her work.

Across the room on the small couch, Bluey lounged with her legs stretched out, flipping through a magazine and chewing on a stick of gum.

โ€œIโ€™m so glad none of us were hurt in the last mission,โ€ Nia said suddenly, her voice soft but sincere. โ€œI donโ€™t ever want to go through something like that again. It was terrifying.โ€

โ€œSame,โ€ Natalie said without looking up from her puzzle. โ€œEverything happened too fast. It was justโ€ฆ chaos.โ€

Loci rested a hand on Niaโ€™s shoulder, gently tracing little circles with his thumb. โ€œHowโ€™s Hyce? Heโ€™s okay now, right?โ€

Bluey nodded. โ€œYeah. Heโ€™s fine. A little dramatic, but alive.โ€

They all exhaled at once โ€” a shared wave of relief none of them had realized they were holding.

Then Niaโ€™s stomach growled loudly.

She covered her face with both hands. โ€œOh my gosh. No one heard that. Nobody.โ€

Loci laughed and leaned down to kiss her lips. โ€œCome on, hungry girl. Letโ€™s go get food before you starve.โ€

He stood, helping her up from the bed.

โ€œYou two want anything?โ€ he asked, glancing between Bluey and Natalie.

โ€œNot really,โ€ Bluey said. โ€œSnacks will do.โ€

โ€œYeah, same,โ€ Natalie said, still focused on attaching another puzzle piece. โ€œGet me something crunchy.โ€

โ€œAlright. Weโ€™ll be back in a sec,โ€ Loci said, taking Niaโ€™s hand as they headed out of the room.

The door closed behind them, leaving Bluey and Natalie in the quiet hum of the room.

Natalie shifted her puzzle tray aside and looked up at Bluey on the couch.

โ€œOkay,โ€ Natalie said. โ€œWhat have you been up to lately?โ€

Bluey lifted a brow. โ€œNothing. What do you mean?โ€

Natalie scoffed softly.

โ€œNothing? Really? Because Hades called me the night before Zayne tried that shit, asking if you were sleeping over. I lied for you. You didnโ€™t even tell me before hand that you needed me to cover for you. What if he figured out I was lying?โ€

Bluey blinked slowly. โ€œI forgot, Nat. And itโ€™s nothing. Seriously.โ€

โ€œNothing,โ€ Natalie repeated, unimpressed. โ€œRight. Because I also saw you and Sergio breaking into Miss Doraโ€™s office the other night.โ€

Blueyโ€™s eyes widened. โ€œYou followed us?โ€

โ€œNo,โ€ Natalie said quickly. โ€œI was up late and outside. I was heading back to my room when I saw the two of you leave the dorm. I got curious. Thatโ€™s it.โ€

Bluey stared at her, speechless.

โ€œAnd at the mission?โ€ Natalie continued. โ€œI went upstairs to help find Hinata. But when I got there, you were already talking to himโ€ฆ and if I remember correctly, you asked Sergio to kill him.โ€

โ€œWhat?โ€ Bluey breathed.

Natalie leaned closer, voice lowering.
โ€œIโ€™m saying I know you have the key, Bluey. So stop acting like Iโ€™m blind. Donโ€™t keep me in the dark.โ€

โ€œItโ€™s a long story. Itโ€™s best if you donโ€™t know,โ€ Bluey muttered, eyes shifting away.

โ€œCโ€™mon, Bluey.โ€ Natalie scooted closer on the couch, voice low. โ€œPlease tell me. I can help.โ€

Bluey hesitatedโ€ฆ a long, heavy silence stretching between them before she exhaled.

โ€œFine. But you keep this to yourself,โ€ Bluey said. Her eyes sharpened. โ€œNot a word, Natalie.โ€

โ€œI promise,โ€ Natalie whispered instantly.

Bluey pushed her hair back.

โ€œMe and Sergioโ€ฆ weโ€™re the spy in MIA.โ€ Bluey admitted.

โ€œWhat?!!โ€

โ€œKeep it down, will you?โ€Bluey hushed her and Natalie nodded.

โ€œWeโ€™ve been investigating MIA for a long time. We think the academy is doing something with the studentsโ€™ bodies. You remember what you said about expelled students disappearing? It wasnโ€™t just a theory, MIA is really keeping a dark secret about what is being done with those bodies..โ€

Natalieโ€™s jaw dropped. โ€œSo I was right all along?โ€

Bluey nodded. Natalie looked at her again.

โ€œYouโ€™ve known all this time? You were never weak? Youโ€™ve been acting like some quiet little student meanwhile youโ€™reโ€”โ€ She clenched her fists. โ€œBluey! Why didnโ€™t you tell me?!โ€

โ€œI didnโ€™t want to involve a lot of people,โ€ Bluey said calmly. โ€œThe more people who know, the more dangerous it gets.โ€

Natalie stood, pacing. โ€œSo all this whileโ€ฆ everything you did, you were fooling everyone? That’s insanely impressive.โ€

Bluey nodded. โ€œAbout the key I took from Hinata. It’s a vault key. Later, weโ€™re going to open the vault. Thatโ€™s where the real secrets are.โ€

Natalie froze. Then she turned sharply.
โ€œIโ€™m coming with you.โ€

โ€œNo.โ€ Bluey said immediately. โ€œAbsolutely not.โ€

โ€œI am coming,โ€ Natalie insisted. โ€œBluey, after everything you just told me, you expect me to sit in my room and knit? No way.โ€

โ€œNatโ€”โ€

โ€œBluey, I already know too much. Whatโ€™s the point of excluding me now? And you said it yourself, things get dangerous when people know. Well guess what? I already know and I don’t mind the danger..โ€

Bluey groaned, dragging her hands down her face. โ€œYouโ€™re going to be a pain.โ€

โ€œAnd you love me.โ€ Natalie grinned.

Bluey sighed heavily.
โ€œโ€ฆFine. But listen.. No acting on impulse or trying to be a hero. If something goes wrong, we’re all doomed.โ€

Natalie nodded eagerly. โ€œDeal.โ€

Bluey gave her a tired look.
โ€œIโ€™m really going to regret letting you come.โ€

โ€œNope,โ€ Natalie said, smiling. โ€œYouโ€™re going to thank me. By the way, does anyone else knows?โ€

โ€œWell, Hyce knows.โ€ Bluey said.

โ€œAnd….Hades? He doesn’t know?โ€Bluey said.

โ€œYou’re not going to…tell him?โ€Natalie asked.

โ€œNo, I mean….I don’t know what his reaction will be and I don’t want to complicate things any further.โ€Bluey said.

Morgan was in the recovery room, finally stabilized after her surgery.

Trevor had been at her side all night, holding her hand, brushing her hair back, and planting gentle kisses on her fingers.

“Please wake up soon, I can’t stand seeing you like this,” he whispered, pressing another soft kiss to her hand.

A knock sounded at the door. Trevor quickly stood up as Corazon entered, flanked by Anthony.

“Trevor, can I ask you something?” Corazon said, her voice steady but sharp.

“Sureโ€ฆ” he replied cautiously.

“Are you and Morganโ€ฆ still in a relationship?” Corazon asked, locking eyes with him.

“No weโ€ฆ”

Slap.

“Donโ€™t you dare lie to me!” Corazon snapped.

“And what if we are? What if I kiss her, touch her, f+k herโ€”what?!! I love her! I never asked you two to have an affair and ruin my life! I wonโ€™t allow it!” Trevor exploded, his fists clenching at his sides.

“Trevorโ€ฆ listen. You need to accept it. Morgan isnโ€™t just anyoneโ€”sheโ€™s your sister. You need to respect that.”Anthony’s expression hardened.

Trevorโ€™s face twisted with fury and disbelief.

“Sister? No. I donโ€™t care.โ€ He said and turned to Corazon.

โ€œYou wrecked my parentsโ€™ marriage, youโ€™re a slut, and now you want to come here and tell me I canโ€™t love her? I love Morganโ€”end of discussion!”

He spun on his heel, storming out of the room, leaving Corazon standing in the doorway, her jaw tight, eyes burning with frustration.

“That boy won’t kill me,” Anthony muttered, his hands clenched.

Corazon palmed her face, exhaling slowly.

“Mr. del Mundo,” the doctor called, approaching them.

“Doctor,” Corazon replied tensely.

“I’m glad you two came,” the doctor said.

“Why did you want to see us?” Corazon asked.

“The surgery went well, but I must say, we had complications. Also, we didnโ€™t make use of your blood. Someone donated blood anonymously in the lab, and it was a miracleโ€”it was actually a blood that matched hers,” the doctor explained.

Corazon and Anthony immediately yelled at the doctor. “Why didnโ€™t you use our blood? Morgan is our daughter! We came to save her life!”

The doctor held up a hand calmly. “The reason we couldnโ€™t use your blood is because your blood type doesnโ€™t match Morganโ€™s. Morganโ€™s blood type is AB. Yours is actually O (-) negative.”

Anthony and Corazon froze, shock written across their faces.

“What? Doctor, weโ€™re her parents! What do you mean our blood type doesnโ€™t match hers?” Anthony asked, voice cracking.

“Why is that? There has to be an explanation,” Corazon said, her hands shaking.

The doctor looked at them gravely. “Thereโ€™s only one possible reason why both your blood types donโ€™t match hers.”

Anthonyโ€™s heart thumped painfully. “And what is that?”

“Morgan is not your daughterโ€ฆ” The doctor said.
