Hades slammed his boot into the door and it exploded inward. He didnโ€™t hesitateโ€”he lifted his gun and fired at the shadow on the staircase.

Deanโ€™s scream tore through the room.

โ€œF+k!โ€ He staggered back, clutching his ribs as blood soaked his shirt.

Capo leaned over the banister above them, unleashing a rain of bullets.

โ€œDid you really think youโ€™d leave here alive?โ€ He fired nonstop, forcing Hades and Bluey to duck beneath the staircase for cover.

โ€œStop being damn weaklings and come out here!โ€ Capo snapped, tossing Dean another gun as the two of them came down the stairs, ready to finish the job.

They reached the spot under the steps, guns raisedโ€”empty.

Bluey and Hades were nowhere in sight.

โ€œLooking for me?โ€A voice slid through the silence like a blade.

Dean and Capo spun around.

Hades stood there, leaning against the wall with terrifying calm, gun hanging loose in his hand as if he wasnโ€™t covered in blood.

Before they could fire, a shrill, furious scream sliced through the air.

โ€œYou damn pigs!โ€

Their heads shot upward just in time to see Bluey launch herself over the railing.

She dropped from the second floor crashing into both men with brutal force. They hit the ground hard, weapons scattering.

Hades immediately kicked their guns across the room and Bluey hauled both men up by their collars, smashing their heads together hard enough to daze them.

Capo staggered, but he still swung at her with a desperate snarl. Bluey ducked, grabbed his wrist, twisted until it cracked, and slammed her knee into his face.

Dean rushed her from the side, but she spun and drove her elbow into his jaw, sending him crashing into a table.

They both tried to get up again, groaning, stubborn, wildโ€”but she didnโ€™t let them.

She caught Capo by the neck, dragged him forward, and rammed his head into the staircase railing until blood smeared the wood.

Dean lunged again, but Bluey kicked his knee out, then punched him repeatedly until he dropped to the floor, barely breathing.

Capo spat blood and swung at her one last time, but she dodged effortlessly and slammed her fist into his face so hard his back hit the floor beside Deanโ€™s.

Both men gasped, broken, sitting back to back, tied in each otherโ€™s blood. Dean was slumped, barely conscious.

โ€œYou guys got water here?โ€ Hades asked, leaning on the wall, pale but smirking.

โ€œIโ€™ll check.โ€ Bluey strode into the kitchen, grabbed a bottle, and returned, handing it to him.

Hades chuckled weakly. โ€œSix minutes left. Make it worth it.โ€

โ€œYou canโ€™t kill us!โ€ Capo spat, wheezing. โ€œIโ€™ll haunt you! Iโ€™ll make you pay!โ€

Bluey slapped him so hard his head bounced off the floor. She grabbed his collar, fury trembling under her skin.

โ€œHow long?โ€ she growled. โ€œHow long did you make him suffer like that? I canโ€™t even imagine the pain you put him through.โ€

Capo chuckled through bloody teeth. โ€œI loved it. Every second. And nothing you do will change that.โ€

Bluey smiled slowly. Dark. Breathless. Unhinged. โ€œSure. But your death wonโ€™t be so easy.โ€

โ€œTwo minutes, Bluey,โ€ Hades murmured.

She looked at him, eyes burning, then exhaled.

Bluey dragged out the ties sheโ€™d taken earlier and bound them tightly together, back to back, ignoring their weak protests.

Then she walked to the cellar door, disappeared inside, and came back with crates of expensive alcoholโ€”whiskey, vodka, rum…throwing each bottle onto the floor.

The glass shattered, shards slicing their legs and arms as alcohol soaked the floor and bodies.

โ€œWhat are you doing?!โ€ Dean choked.

Bluey tilted her head. โ€œWhat does it look like?โ€

โ€œYou canโ€™t!โ€ Capo screamed, panic finally leaking through his voice. โ€œYou canโ€™t do that!!โ€

She crouched in front of him, her smile the last thing a sane man should ever see.

โ€œBurn in hell.โ€

Capoโ€™s eyes widened with real fear.

She stood, took out the lighter, flicked it once, and dropped it.

The moment the flame touched the alcohol, fire rushed across the floor like a living beast, swallowing them.

Deanโ€™s scream tore the room. โ€œNOOO!โ€

Capo thrashed, flames crawling up his clothes. โ€œIโ€™LL HAUNT YOU!! Iโ€™LL KILL YOU ALLโ€”โ€

His voice cut off in a choking shriek.

The fire roared. Their bodies writhed. The smell of burning skin filled the air.

Bluey laughed. Hades watched her, proud even as his strength drained.

Bluey turned to him, her chest rising and falling with the heavy breaths she had been holding for hours.

The fire behind them crackled, swallowing Capo and Deanโ€™s screams until nothing was left except the echo of their own exhaustion.

โ€œItโ€™s overโ€ฆ itโ€™s finally over,โ€ she whispered, her voice trembling as she cupped Hadesโ€™s cheek.

โ€œYesโ€ฆ weโ€ฆ made it out. Iโ€ฆ loveโ€ฆโ€ Hades tried to smile, but the expression faltered as a sharp pain cut through him.

His head jerked downward and he pressed a hand to his temple. His breath hitched. His vision clouded. His knees buckled.

โ€œHades?โ€ Bluey grabbed him, but his weight crashed into her, knocking both of them to the floor outside the burning building.

She pulled him close, her fingers shaking as she tried to steady him.

Cough.

Hadesโ€™s hand slid away from her arm.

โ€œWhat ifโ€ฆ I feel likeโ€ฆ Iโ€™m not going toโ€ฆ make it,โ€ he said weakly, his voice barely a whisper.

โ€œNo. No. No, donโ€™t say that. Donโ€™t do this to me. Hadesโ€”look at me.โ€ Bluey forced him upright, her hands framing his face.

โ€œIโ€ฆ I canโ€™t. The painโ€ฆ it stopped butโ€ฆ itโ€™s not good. I feel numbโ€ฆ everywhereโ€ฆ Iโ€ฆโ€ His body convulsed and he coughed againโ€”this time blood spilled from his mouth, dripping down his chin.

More blood trickled from his ears. The veins on his neck and arms bulged, dark purple, as if poison were crawling beneath his skin.

โ€œHadesโ€ฆโ€ Blueyโ€™s voice broke as his pupils slowly widened.

He tried to raise his hand to touch her, but it trembled and fell halfway.

โ€œMi Ruinaโ€ฆโ€ His voice was soft, fading. โ€œDonโ€™tโ€ฆ cry. Iโ€™m justโ€ฆ tired. Justโ€ฆ tired, Bluey.โ€

โ€œHades, stay awake…stay awake for me, please. Don’t close your eyes.โ€ Her tears dropped onto his cheek.

He blinked slowly, his gaze softening as if memorizing her face.

โ€œIf I fall asleepโ€ฆ wake meโ€ฆ okay?.โ€ His lips curved into the smallest, weakest smile.

โ€œI wantโ€ฆ you to beโ€ฆ the first thing I seeโ€ฆโ€

His eyes flutteredโ€ฆ onceโ€ฆ twiceโ€ฆ

Then closed.

โ€œHadesโ€ฆ? Heyโ€ฆ stop that. This isnโ€™t funny. Hadesโ€ฆ look at me. Hades!โ€ Bluey shook him frantically, her voice breaking into sobs.

โ€œBluey!!โ€ Hugo shouted from behind her as Hyce and Sergio ran toward them.

Bluey didnโ€™t look away from Hades.

โ€œWe need to leaveโ€”the hospitalโ€”please. Hadesโ€ฆ Hadesโ€ฆโ€ Her voice crumbled.

Hyce and Hugo lifted him, but Bluey tried to stand and follow. Her legs gave out, numb from shock and blood loss.

โ€œDonโ€™tโ€ฆ donโ€™t let him die on meโ€ฆ pleaseโ€ฆโ€ she whispered before her body collapsed.

Sergio caught her instantly, lifting her into his arms as they rushed toward the gates.

Gomez punched in the passcode and the massive iron gates swung open.

It had been three hours.
Three long, dragging, suffocating hours since Hades was taken into surgery, and still no doctor had stepped out.

Bluey, already awake, couldnโ€™t sit still for even a second. She paced up and down the hallway, fingers trembling, eyes burning, breathing uneven. Every other student was there tooโ€”some with their parentsโ€”silent, scared, waiting. The air felt like grief itself had taken a seat among them.

At the academy grounds, Raul and Anthony had finished their work. Every building in MIA had been rigged with bombs and blown into nothing but ash and smoke.

MIA no longer existed.

Robert sat on one of the metal chairs, elbows on his knees, face buried in his hands. Iris stayed beside him, but she wasnโ€™t crying quietlyโ€”she was breaking.

โ€œThis is my faultโ€ฆโ€ Iris whispered, shaking her head as tears spilled freely. โ€œI shouldโ€™veโ€ฆ I shouldโ€™ve protected him. I shouldโ€™ve taken him away sooner.โ€

Robert lifted his head, jaw tight, eyes red. โ€œNo. Irisโ€ฆ stop. None of this was your fault, nobody wanted this to happen.โ€ His voice cracked on the last part.

Iris trembled. โ€œBut heโ€™s our only sonโ€ฆ I canโ€™t lose him. I canโ€™tโ€”Robert, I canโ€™t breathe.โ€

Robert wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close. He wasnโ€™t doing much betterโ€”his leg bounced uncontrollably, his breath heavy.

โ€œHeโ€™s strong. Stronger than both of us combined. Heโ€™ll make it.โ€

Bluey stopped pacing and stared at them, guilt crashing down on her. She swallowed hard, walked over, and bowed her head.

โ€œAunty Irisโ€ฆ Uncle Robertโ€ฆ Iโ€™m so sorry,โ€ she whispered. โ€œIf anything happens to himโ€ฆ Iโ€”โ€

Maureen quickly stepped beside her. โ€œBluey, sweetheart, you need to rest. Youโ€™re hurt too.โ€

โ€œNo,โ€ Bluey said immediately, shaking her head. โ€œIโ€™m not moving from here. I need to know how heโ€™s doing. I canโ€™t just sit somewhere and pretend Iโ€™m okay.โ€

Maureen sighed softly but didnโ€™t push further. She understood the desperation in Blueyโ€™s voiceโ€”everyone did.

Then suddenlyโ€”

The operating room doors swung open.

Iris gasped so loudly it echoed.

โ€œDoctor!โ€ She and Robert bolted forward, practically stumbling over each other to reach the surgeon.

Bluey froze, her heart slamming against her chest so hard it hurt.

The doctor removed his mask, exhaustion written across his face. Everyone froze. Iris and Robert rushed toward him first, clinging to each other as though the air had been ripped from their lungs.

โ€œThe surgery went well,โ€ the doctor said. โ€œWe removed the device lodged in his brain. The bleeding was controlled, and the infection around the chip has been cleared. Butโ€ฆโ€ He exhaled heavily.

Blueyโ€™s heart stopped. The hall felt too quiet.

โ€œBut he was greatly affected. For one, his sight has been partially compromised. He will need glasses from now on.โ€

Iris covered her mouth, nodding quickly, desperate. โ€œThatโ€™s fine. Thatโ€™s fine as long as heโ€™s alive.โ€

The doctor hesitatedโ€ฆ then dropped the real blow.

โ€œAndโ€ฆ he’s prone to have permanent amnesia.โ€

Silence slammed into the hall.

Iris blinked. โ€œAโ€ฆ amnesia?โ€

โ€œYes,โ€ the doctor replied. โ€œThe memories formed after the chip was installed will be wiped out. Everything after that periodโ€ฆ is gone.โ€

Bluey froze as if someone had shot her straight through the heart. Her hands trembled, her breath stuttering in her chest.

She staggered backward until her shoulder hit the cold wall.

Memories after the chip was installed.

Everyone who started MIA with Hades had been with him from the beginning.

Except her.

She came later.

She came after.

โ€œHeโ€™sโ€ฆ heโ€™s going to forget me?โ€ her voice cracked, barely holding itself together. โ€œEverything? Every moment? Every thing weโ€™ve been through?โ€

Her knees wobbled, and Iris immediately caught her hand, squeezing it tight.

โ€œOh, sweetheartโ€ฆโ€ Iris whispered, tears filling her eyes.

Bluey forced in a shaky breath, swallowing the pain clawing its way up her throat. Her eyes burned, but she refused to let a single tear fall.

โ€œItโ€™s fine,โ€ she whispered, even though it shattered her. โ€œAs long as heโ€™s okayโ€ฆ I wonโ€™t complain.โ€

But her voice broke on the last word, betraying the truth she was trying so hard to hide.

They all sat around the breakfast table, the morning light spilling softly through the floor to ceiling windows.

Bluey and Trevor had just joined, the quiet hum of the house filling the pauses between the clinking of cutlery.

โ€œGood morning, Dad,โ€ Trevor said, giving Anthony a small nod.

โ€œGood morning, Mom, Dad,โ€ Bluey greeted, her tone careful but polite.

Anthony and Corazon exchanged a glance and smiled, a moment of unspoken understanding passing between them.

โ€œWhy are you smiling?โ€ Bluey asked, eyeing them curiously as the maid served the first plates.

โ€œNothingโ€ฆ just happy that you chose to live here,โ€ Anthony said gently. โ€œAndโ€ฆ that youโ€™re opening up to us.โ€

Bluey shrugged, a small smirk forming. โ€œItโ€™s no big deal. Not like I can change reality, right?โ€

Corazonโ€™s eyes softened as she looked at Bluey. โ€œBlueyโ€ฆ Iโ€™m sorry. For the way I treated you, even after I found out you were my daughterโ€ฆ I stillโ€ฆ I still insisted on hating you.โ€

Bluey shook her head lightly. โ€œItโ€™s not your fault. Honestly, I didnโ€™t like you either.โ€

Anthony leaned forward slightly. โ€œButโ€ฆ we can give our family a chance, right?โ€

Bluey studied them for a moment before nodding. โ€œSure. Why not.โ€

Corazon turned her gaze to Trevor, who had been quietly observing. โ€œTrevorโ€ฆ youโ€™re awfully quiet.โ€

โ€œAm I supposed to say anything?โ€ he muttered, shrugging.

โ€œCโ€™mon,โ€ Corazon pressed with a gentle smile. โ€œCan weโ€ฆ get along? Your dad and I are going to get married soon, andโ€ฆ Iโ€™ll automatically become your mom.โ€

โ€œStepmom,โ€ Trevor corrected, a small smirk tugging at his lips.

โ€œI just want us to get along as a family,โ€ Corazon said softly. โ€œIโ€™ll do my best, I promise.โ€

โ€œSureโ€ฆ whatever,โ€ Trevor replied with a casual shrug, but the faint smile in his eyes betrayed a softening.

Corazonโ€™s smile widened, warm and hopeful. โ€œThatโ€™s all I ask.โ€

Bluey glanced down at her plate, a quiet sense of ease settling in the room, the tension slowly easing into the gentle rhythm of a family finding its way.

Gael and Maureen sat together in their room, Morgan perched on the edge of the bed, her eyes wide with curiosity.

โ€œYou guysโ€ฆ are getting married?โ€ she asked, a teasing smile tugging at her lips.

โ€œYes,โ€ Gael said with a soft smile. โ€œCorazon and I finalized our divorce, and thereโ€™s nothing standing in the way now.โ€

โ€œWow, congratulations, Dad. Iโ€™m happy for you,โ€ Morgan said, glancing at Maureen with a bright grin. โ€œAnd you tooโ€ฆ Mom.โ€

โ€œThanks, Morgan,โ€ Maureen replied, reaching over to squeeze her hand. โ€œIโ€™m glad youโ€™re in support of this.โ€

โ€œOf course I am,โ€ Morgan said, rolling her eyes playfully. โ€œI meanโ€ฆ Dad was always meant to be my daddy anyway. And Momโ€ฆ well, I guess you get to deal with us now.โ€

Maureen laughed, ruffling Morganโ€™s hair gently.

โ€œDeal with you? Girl, Iโ€™ve been dealing with you and your dad for years. This is a bonus challenge,โ€ Maureen said with a grin.

Morgan turned toward Gael, raising an eyebrow. โ€œOh yeah? And how do you think youโ€™re going to survive being married to Mom? Sheโ€™s tough, Dad. Donโ€™t say I didnโ€™t warn you.โ€

Gael chuckled, shaking his head. โ€œIโ€™ve survived worse. Besides, Iโ€™ve got my favorite daughter on my side now.โ€

Morgan gasped dramatically, pretending to clutch her chest. โ€œFavorite? Dad! I’m your only daughter….well for now. Can’t wait to be a big sister!โ€

โ€œSoon Morgan,โ€ Gael said, smirking.

Morgan laughed, her eyes sparkling, and Maureen smiled, watching them. โ€œLooks like our family is going to be full of teasing and chaos,โ€ she said softly.

โ€œBring it on,โ€ Morgan said, throwing her arms around both of them. โ€œI wouldnโ€™t have it any other way.โ€

Gael chuckled again, holding both Maureen and Morgan close for a moment, feeling the warmth of a family finally coming together.

Natasha was lying down in her room when she heard a knock on the door.

โ€œTashaโ€ฆโ€ her mom called.

โ€œWhat is it, mom?โ€ Natasha replied lazily.

โ€œSomeoneโ€™s downstairs looking for you. Said heโ€™s your boyfriend.โ€ Her momโ€™s voice made her sit up immediately.

โ€œBoyfriend? I donโ€™t have a boyfriend,โ€ she muttered as she rushed to the door and opened it.

โ€œWhat boyfriend?โ€

โ€œSo you had a boyfriend and you didnโ€™t tell me? Youโ€™re keeping secrets from me now?โ€ her mom asked suspiciously.

โ€œMom, Iโ€™m not,โ€ Natasha said, already hurrying down the stairs.

She froze halfway down when she saw Gomez standing in the living room, his back turned to her.

โ€œGomez?โ€ Her voice cracked slightly.

He turned, and the small smile that formed on his lips made her heartbeat jump. She walked toward him, and for a moment they just stood there, quietly taking each other in.

His eyes softened as they traced her face, lingering like he had missed her more than he wanted to admit.

She swallowed and looked down shyly.

โ€œHi. How are you?โ€ he asked, his voice gentler than usual.

โ€œIโ€™m fine. Itโ€™s been a while since I heard from you,โ€ she said.

โ€œItโ€™s been just two days,โ€ He replied.

โ€œYeah, right. Just two days. I thought you forgot about me,โ€ she murmured, trying not to look directly at him again.

โ€œWhy would I?โ€ he asked, and the way he looked at her made her chest feel warm.

โ€œUmโ€ฆ why are you here?โ€ she finally asked.

โ€œBecause I want to take you out. On a date.โ€ Her breath hitched.

โ€œA date?โ€

โ€œYes. Why? Donโ€™t you want to?โ€ She shook her head quickly.

โ€œI doโ€ฆ I justโ€ฆ Iโ€™m feeling kinda shy right now.โ€

โ€œI know. Your face is all red,โ€ he teased.

She groaned. โ€œYouโ€™re not helping matters.โ€

โ€œFine, Iโ€™ll stop. Go get changed, letโ€™s go. I already asked your mom for permission. She told me to be a good boy.โ€

โ€œOkay then. Iโ€™ll be ready in a few minutes,โ€ she said and walked away, her cheeks burning.

While she was upstairs, Gomez looked around the large living room. His eyes landed on Natalie’s picture, framed with candles and fresh flowers around it.

He stared at it quietly, the weight of everything that had happened settling heavily on him. When Natasha came back down, he turned at the sound of her voice.

โ€œHonestly, when my parents found outโ€ฆโ€ She whispered, walking closer.

โ€œItโ€™s been endless nights of tears. The last two days Iโ€™ve been back, mom tries so hard to look okay, but I know sheโ€™s not. Between Natalie and I, she was the one closest to mom.โ€

Her voice cracked and Gomez gently took her hand.

โ€œHeyโ€ฆโ€ he whispered. Natashaโ€™s eyes dropped.

โ€œI really miss her. I feel so sad because all we ever did was fight. It hurts so much.โ€

โ€œShh,โ€ he said softly.

โ€œIโ€™m sure wherever she is right now, she forgives you. She loves you. And she probably wants you to move on.โ€

Natasha nodded weakly. Gomez brushed his thumb across the back of her hand.

โ€œDonโ€™t cry. Pretty girls shouldnโ€™t cry all the time.โ€

โ€œStop teasing meโ€ฆโ€ she mumbled.

โ€œSo, you ready to leave?โ€ he asked. She nodded.

He held her hand gentlyโ€”carefully, like she was something precious and led her out of the house.

-๐‘๐š๐ฎ๐ฅ’๐ฌ ๐•๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š-

Bluey sat at the far end of the sofa, her fingers twisted together so tightly her knuckles were white.

The house was quiet, too quiet, and every tick of the wall clock reminded her that Hades still hadnโ€™t woken up.

Noah walked in and stopped when he saw her expression.

โ€œYouโ€™re thinking about what the doctor said,โ€ he said softly.

Bluey didnโ€™t answer at first. She stared ahead, breathing unevenly.

โ€œPermanent amnesiaโ€ฆโ€ her voice cracked. โ€œNoahโ€ฆ what if he wakes up and he looks at me like Iโ€™m a stranger? What if he doesnโ€™t remember anything we went through? Usโ€ฆ what we are?โ€

Noah sat beside her.

โ€œBluey, listen to me. Hades is alive. He survived something none of us ever thought was possible. Memory or no memory, heโ€™s still here. And youโ€™re still here. Youโ€™ll help him remember again.โ€

โ€œBut what if he doesnโ€™t want to?โ€ she whispered. โ€œWhat if thisโ€ฆ this version of himโ€” the one who loves meโ€” disappears forever?โ€

Noah placed a steady hand on her back. โ€œYouโ€™re stronger than you think. And Hadesโ€ฆ even with half his memories missing, that man you loved and loved you will always be there deep down.โ€

Blueyโ€™s throat tightened. โ€œIโ€™m scared, Noah. I donโ€™t know what Iโ€™m supposed to do when he opens his eyes.โ€

โ€œThen stay by his side,โ€ Noah said. โ€œYpu promised him you would, right?.โ€

Bluey swallowed hard. The silence settled again, heavy but somehow comforting with Noah sitting there.

He glanced at her.

โ€œHeyโ€ฆ remember the plan? Japan. The trip we planned we were going on after the mission?.โ€ His smile was small but sincere. โ€œYou said you wanted to see cherry blossoms and drag me through anime stores.โ€

Bluey let out a shaky breath. โ€œHow can I think about Japan now?โ€

โ€œBecause life doesnโ€™t stop,โ€ Noah replied gently. โ€œHades would be pissed if you put your world on hold. And when he recovers, weโ€™ll still go. All of us. You, me, Hadesโ€ฆ even if I have to drag him onto the plane myself.โ€

She finally looked at him. Her eyes were wet, but a tiny smile tugged at her lips. โ€œYouโ€™re trying too hard to make me feel better.โ€

โ€œSomeone has to,โ€ he shrugged.

Bluey leaned her head on his shoulder, exhausted. โ€œI just hopeโ€ฆ when he wakes upโ€ฆ he still chooses me.โ€

โ€œHe will,โ€ Noah said firmly. โ€œYou like to worry yourself too much.โ€He flicked her forehead.

โ€œOuch..โ€

-๐Š๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ž’๐ฌ ๐„๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ž-

Nadine was in the kitchen, humming softly as she cooked lunch with the maids, her mood impossibly light.

Upstairs, Hyce stepped out of the bathroom, shirtless, a towel tied low around his waist.

Water dripped down his chest, glinting in the sunlight streaming through the window. Sergio, sitting on the bed, couldnโ€™t take his eyes off him.

โ€œStop looking at me like that,โ€ Hyce said, a teasing edge in his voice as he moved toward his dresser.

He began pulling on his shirt when a hand suddenly slipped around his waist.

โ€œSergioโ€ฆโ€ Hyce moaned softly, startled, as warm lips pressed against his neck from behind.

โ€œItโ€™s been a long time, hasnโ€™t it?โ€ Sergio murmured, his breath hot against Hyceโ€™s skin.

โ€œF+kโ€ฆ I know, butโ€ฆ Momโ€™s around. We canโ€™t fuck right nowโ€ฆ not here.โ€ Hyce twisted, trying to free himself, but his protest only seemed to amuse Sergio more.

Sergio laughed, low and teasing, making Hyce spin around.

โ€œDid you just laugh at me?โ€ Hyce frowned, a flush creeping over his chest.

โ€œSilly you,โ€ Sergio whispered, stepping closer. โ€œDid you really think Iโ€™d fuck you in your own house?โ€

โ€œThenโ€ฆ whatโ€ฆโ€ Hyce started, voice rough with desire, but before he could finish, Sergio pressed himself against Hyce, capturing his lips in a fierce, insistent kiss.

It was demanding yet tender all at onceโ€”Sergioโ€™s hands framed Hyceโ€™s face, thumbs brushing over the jawline, lips moving with precision and heat.

Hyceโ€™s knees nearly buckled as the kiss deepened, a mixture of passion and playful dominance making his heart race.

โ€œIโ€ฆ I just wanted a kiss, you dummy,โ€ Sergio finally whispered, pulling back slightly, his forehead resting against Hyceโ€™s.

Hyce bit his lip, a mixture of embarrassment and longing flooding his senses, unable to do anything but stand frozen, breathless.

Sergioโ€™s hands slid lower, teasing along Hyceโ€™s sides, fingers tracing under the waistband of the towel, making him shiver and press closer.

Hyce groaned into Sergioโ€™s mouth, fingers tangling in his hair as they kissed with a mix of desperation and playfulness, neither willing to break the heat between them.

โ€œGodโ€ฆ Iโ€™ve missed this,โ€ Hyce moaned, voice rough, as he tilted his head, giving Sergio better access, their bodies pressed flush, the warmth radiating between them.

Sergio smirked against him, teasingly biting Hyceโ€™s jaw, whispering, โ€œYou’re being impatient, lover boy.โ€

Hyceโ€™s hands roamed, exploring, gripping Sergioโ€™s hips, pulling him impossibly closer, their breaths hot and ragged.

Every brush of skin against skin, every small gasp only fanning the fire higher.

Before things could escalate further, a sharp knock echoed through the hallway.

โ€œBoysโ€ฆ lunch is ready,โ€ Nadineโ€™s voice rang cheerfully.

Both froze mid-motion. Hyce let out a frustrated, almost needy groan.

โ€œUmmโ€ฆ sureโ€ฆ Momโ€ฆ weโ€™ll be rightโ€ฆ thereโ€ฆ fuckโ€ฆโ€ Hyce moaned as Sergio squeezed his ass.

Sergio chuckled, lips still brushing Hyceโ€™s ear, letting a teasing shiver run down his spine.

โ€œGuess weโ€™ll have to continue this later,โ€

Sergio whispered, hands reluctantly letting go as they straightened themselves, cheeks flushed, hearts racing, the lingering heat between them impossible to ignore as they made their way downstairs.

Loci and Nia sat at the airport, waiting for their flight.

They had both decided to enroll in a private university in Cambodia, a choice that offered them the independence and opportunities they wanted.

Additionally, Nia’s family was based in Cambodia.

Their goal wasnโ€™t just to finish college; they planned to start their own company together once they graduated.

Alongside their professional ambitions, they had quietly discussed the possibility of marriage, a shared future that made every step of this journey feel purposeful.

โ€œI already texted Bluey and told her weโ€™re about to leave,โ€ Nia said, checking her phone one last time.

โ€œOkay,โ€ Loci replied, a small smile tugging at his lips.

๐Ÿ”Š โ€œFlight 428 to Phnom Penh Cambodia is now boarding.โ€

โ€œYou didnโ€™t forget anything, right?โ€ Loci asked, glancing at her with a teasing lift of his eyebrow.

โ€œYeah,โ€ Nia replied, looping her arm through his as she stood.

Loci grabbed both of their suitcases, lifting them with ease. โ€œGateโ€™s this way. Letโ€™s get moving.โ€

Side by side, they weaved through the crowd, their hearts already set on the new chapter waiting for them on the other side of the flight.

Hugo sank into the sofa in the living room, Dawn sitting close beside him. Across from them, his parents, David and Rose, lounged in their own chairs, cups of coffee in hand, their eyes sharp yet warm as they looked at their son.

โ€œIโ€™ve decided,โ€ Hugo said, his voice steady but nervous, โ€œIโ€™ll attend the business classes you recommended. I want to be fully prepared to take over the company in two years.โ€

David raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at his lips. โ€œFinally! Took you long enough, Hugo. You do realize this is a serious commitment, right? No slacking off.โ€

โ€œI know, Dad,โ€ he replied, rubbing the back of his neck.

Dawn leaned forward, a sly smile on her face. โ€œAnd Iโ€™m going to take business classes too. If heโ€™s going to study, Iโ€™m not going to let him have all the fun.โ€

David chuckled, shaking his head. โ€œGood girl. Someoneโ€™s got to keep him on track. Hugo, you better not let her outperform youโ€”or youโ€™ll never hear the end of it.โ€

โ€œHa! As if he could ever keep up with me,โ€ Dawn teased, nudging Hugoโ€™s shoulder playfully.

Hugo groaned, burying his face in his hands. โ€œYou two are impossible.โ€

Roseโ€™s laugh filled the room. โ€œImpossible? You mean exactly the way a good future husband should be.โ€

โ€œFutureโ€ฆ husband?โ€ Dawn teased, her eyes sparkling.

โ€œUmโ€ฆ heโ€ฆโ€ Hugo started, but faltered.

โ€œMom,โ€ he added quickly, glancing at Dawn, who shyly looked away, cheeks tinged pink.

Rose chuckled softly, but David leaned forward. โ€œBut seriously, Hugoโ€ฆ if you plan on building a future with Dawn, you have to be great. That starts with your work ethic. Iโ€™m not going to make everything easy for you just because weโ€™re rich.โ€

โ€œI hear you, Dad,โ€ Hugo said, nodding.

โ€œSo, when are you two planning on getting ready?โ€ Rose asked, eyes glinting.

โ€œIn three months,โ€ Dawn said confidently, brushing a strand of hair from her face.

The moment felt light, warm, and full of quiet laughter as they all smiled at one another. Just then, the sound of a car horn outside signaled the driver.

โ€œThe car is ready, sir, maโ€™am,โ€ came the polite voice from downstairs.

โ€œAlright, we should get going,โ€ David said, standing. Rose followed, giving Hugo a pointed look before they left.

As the front door clicked shut, Dawn stood, preparing to follow.

Hugo didnโ€™t let her. He reached out, sliding his hands around her waist, pulling her back against him.

โ€œWhere are you going?โ€ he asked, his voice low, teasing.

Dawnโ€™s lips curved into a shy smile. โ€œWhat was your mom saying? About future husband and stuffโ€ฆโ€

Hugoโ€™s grin widened as he leaned down, brushing his forehead against hers.

โ€œWhy? Donโ€™t you want to stay with me forever? Youโ€™re not planning on breaking up, are you?โ€ he asked, eyes soft but playful.

โ€œNoโ€ฆ itโ€™s justโ€ฆ too early for marriage talks,โ€ she admitted, a shy smile tugging at her lips.

He grinned, brushing a strand of hair from her face. โ€œIโ€™m not pressuring you right now, relax. Justโ€ฆ telling you about my plans.โ€

Before she could respond, he scooped her up effortlessly, her laughter spilling out as she squirmed in his arms.

โ€œHey! Put me down!โ€ she protested, though the sound of her own giggles made her pause.

โ€œNope,โ€ he whispered, tickling her sides gently as he carried her toward his room. โ€œYouโ€™re mine, and Iโ€™m going to enjoy this while it lasts.โ€

She tried to wiggle free, but his hold was firm yet tender.

Her laughter filled the space between them, light and musical, as he spun her around once before setting her down on the bed.

โ€œYouโ€ฆstop it…โ€ she gasped, trying to catch her breath, cheeks flushed.

โ€œNo,โ€ he said, his eyes glinting with mischief.

She shot him a playful glare, but the smile creeping across her face betrayed her.

Hades woke up slowly that morning, his head heavy and foggy. The sunlight filtering through the curtains did little to clear the haze in his mind.

Iris sat beside him, her hand resting gently on his arm, keeping a quiet vigil.

Robert had come by earlier, exchanging a few words before leaving, and now Hugo and Hyce lingered nearby, joined by Morgan and Trevor.

โ€œIโ€™ll step out for a while,โ€ Iris said softly, rising from the chair.

โ€œOkay, Aunt,โ€ Trevor replied, his tone careful, almost hesitant.

Hugo leaned forward slightly. โ€œBroโ€ฆ youโ€ฆ remember us, right?โ€

Hades squinted at them, trying to focus as he adjusted his glasses. โ€œWhatโ€™s with the ridiculous question? I know yโ€™all. Is there a reason I shouldnโ€™t?โ€

Hyce crossed his arms. โ€œIdentify us then. Iโ€™m waiting.โ€

Hadesโ€™ eyes scanned the room, landing on each of them.

โ€œHyce, Hugo, Morgan, and Trevor. By the wayโ€ฆ Trevor and Morgan, what are you two doing here? Weโ€™re supposed to be enemies.โ€

โ€œEnemies? Us? I donโ€™t think so,โ€ Trevor said smoothly, though Hadesโ€™ sharp gaze made him shift slightly.

Hades narrowed his eyes.

โ€œDude, you havenโ€™t changed one bit, butโ€ฆ whatโ€™s with the ridiculous glares?โ€Trevor said.

โ€œWhatever,โ€ Hades muttered, rolling his eyes.

Morgan stepped closer. โ€œDonโ€™t you remember anyone else?โ€

โ€œWho else?โ€ Hades asked, his tone cautious, almost fragile.

They glanced at each other, unsure how to proceed. The weight of unspoken truths hung in the air.

โ€œIs there someone else I should remember?โ€ Hades finally asked. โ€œAndโ€ฆ also, howโ€™s MIA so far? I bet Iโ€™ve dropped in the rankings.โ€

Hugoโ€™s shoulders tensed. โ€œMIAโ€ฆ closed down. Itโ€™s not a functioning school anymore.โ€

Hadesโ€™ brow furrowed. โ€œWhat do you mean? What happened?โ€

โ€œYou should focus on recovering first,โ€ Morgan said gently, a rare softness in her voice.

Hadesโ€™ lips twitched, a wry smirk forming despite his confusion. โ€œSince when did you start being nice to me?โ€

โ€œI can see youโ€™re still a real pain in the ass,โ€ Morgan replied with a faint grin.

Hyce leaned back, exasperated. โ€œBut dudeโ€ฆ did you really forget everyone else?โ€

Hades ran a hand through his hair. โ€œIf thereโ€™s somethingโ€”or someone I should remember, then tell me.โ€

Trevor exchanged a glance with the others. โ€œYouโ€ฆ have a girlfriend. My sister.โ€

Hades froze, his eyes widening, his chest tightening as if someone had slammed a door against it. โ€œStop with the prank. Itโ€™s not funny. I donโ€™tโ€ฆ do love.โ€

โ€œButโ€”โ€

โ€œYou guys expect me to believe that I fell in love with someone? Hell no.โ€ His voice cracked, his hands clutching his head as pain rippled through him.

โ€œJust rest. Stop talking,โ€ Trevor said quietly, sensing the storm of confusion and frustration building inside Hades.

He gave a final nod and left the room, leaving the others behind.

Bluey stood outside the door, her back against the wall. She had been listening, hearing every word, feeling her chest tighten with each revelation.

Trevor reached her first, gently touching her shoulder.

โ€œHeyโ€ฆ you heard all that?โ€ he asked softly.

She looked away, biting her lip to keep herself from trembling.

โ€œJustโ€ฆ how? Why? Why does he have to forget? Itโ€™s unfair! Itโ€™s so unfair!โ€ Her voice cracked, the bitterness of helplessness and grief spilling out.

โ€œI know,โ€ Trevor said, lowering his voice.

โ€œThe cold-hearted Hades is back, at least for now. Andโ€ฆ his parents want everyone to bury whatever happened in MIA. Hades shouldnโ€™t find out about itโ€”itโ€™s best that the memories go away too.โ€

Blueyโ€™s eyes glistened with tears. She swallowed hard, the pain of losing the part of him that loved her already feeling like a wound that wouldnโ€™t heal.

โ€œIโ€ฆ I understand thatโ€ฆ but it doesnโ€™t make it any easier. Heโ€ฆ heโ€™s forgot every moment we shared, not knowing any of it. And Iโ€ฆ Iโ€™ll still remember everything.โ€

Trevor hesitated, then gently placed a hand over hers. โ€œ Blueyโ€ฆ youโ€™ve been through so much. But heโ€™s going to need youโ€ฆ even if he doesnโ€™t remember. Be there for him, okay?โ€

Bluey shook her head, her hands trembling.

โ€œNoโ€ฆ I canโ€™t. Not yet. I canโ€™t face him knowing he wonโ€™t remember. I canโ€™tโ€ฆ I canโ€™t deal with being the only one who remembers everything. I justโ€ฆโ€ She pressed her forehead against the wall, trying to steady herself, her body shaking.

Trevorโ€™s voice softened. โ€œItโ€™s okay. Youโ€™ll be ready. You just need time.โ€

Bluey drew a shaky breath and straightened.

โ€œI have other things I need to doโ€ฆ things I canโ€™t put on hold. He shouldโ€ฆ he should focus on recovering. Iโ€™ll be fine.โ€ Her voice was firm, but her quivering lips betrayed the truth.

โ€œSee you at home,โ€ she said softly, turning away and walking down the hall, each step heavy with the weight of what she had lost and what she had yet to face.

As she disappeared from view, Trevor watched her go, a quiet understanding in his eyes.

Blueyโ€™s heart was breaking, but she held onto the last shred of control she had, forcing herself to move forward even when every part of her wanted to collapse.

โ˜…A WEEK LATER- ๐€๐ข๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญโ˜…

Noah handed Bluey a lollipop, and she accepted it with a faint smile, twisting the stick between her fingers.

โ€œSoโ€ฆ when are you coming back? Will you ever come back? Must be painful that he forgot about your existence,โ€ Noah asked quietly, watching her closely.

Bluey sighed, eyes distant. โ€œYeahโ€ฆ but itโ€™s better this way. I think itโ€™s best that he forgets everything about MIA. Everything. Even the toxic way we fell in love.โ€

โ€œI hopeโ€ฆ he finds real happiness and healing,โ€ she added, voice soft but resolute.

Noah hesitated. โ€œSoโ€ฆ youโ€™re just going to disappear from his life? And your family? Your brotherโ€™s going to miss you really badly.โ€

โ€œThey know where to find me in Osaka,โ€ Bluey replied, her tone firm.

Noah nodded, trying to lighten the mood. โ€œOkayโ€ฆ then weโ€™ll have lots of fun in Osaka City,โ€ he chuckled, nudging her gently.

๐Ÿ”Š โ€œFlight 206 to Osaka now boarding,โ€ the loudspeaker announced.

Blueyโ€™s eyes flicked toward the gate.

โ€œThatโ€™s our flight.โ€ She grabbed the handle of her suitcase and started toward the boarding line, her steps purposeful.

Noah hurried after her, his own bag bouncing against his side.

โ€œReady for an adventure?โ€ he asked with a grin.

Bluey glanced back briefly, a small, bittersweet smile tugging at her lips.

โ€œAlways.โ€

Together, they moved toward the plane, the hum of the terminal around them fading as the promise of a new beginning in Osaka awaited.
