[Earlier This Morning, Elite2 Hotel]
Cove had just finished dressing up for campus. His dark baggy denim complemented the ash hoodie he wore on top.
He dragged the hood to cover his hair as usual, and the backpack is slung lazily over his left shoulder.
Trevor left for school an hour ago, and Matteo left for the garage exactly an hour ago too. Today is the last day of the garage rebuilding.
He had to go take care of stuffs before work will resume next week.
So Cove is the only one left here in the family of three.
He should leave for campus directly, but he got the itch to step into the balcony first, and he did.
The board he played on last night is still there, and as a result of the push he gave it, there are obvious changes on the pitch.
Now, one of the players of the second team is lying down, and the ball is in the net of Cove’s team.
A clear goal.
“Are you trying to predict yourself?” Cove muttered, his finger lifting that particular player from the board.
He broke it in two and dumped it on the floor, but his broody eyes didn’t leave the board which is now short of one player.
He’s sure of himself as the goalkeeper, but he can’t be so sure of his players. After all, he didn’t practice with them so he doesn’t even know their actual strength.
He only watched their past games online to catch up, and they’re seriously not bad.
But at the same time…the second team is crazy too.
And what’s this nipping feeling that a player is gonna make a mistake?
He doesn’t ditch his intuitions.
But if the second team is gonna score that 1, he’s gonna have to raise his own team scores by one.
So he picked the marker from where he left it last night and changed the scores on the board.
5-1
He threw the market back on the board, and the fallen player on the floor further crushed under his boot as he stepped on it.
He left the hotel.
—
[Present Time, Stadium]GOAL.
The roar after the goal was violent. Maddening. A thunderous rumble.
For a moment, the stadium was nothing but noise—cheers from the fans of the second team and half of the cheerleaders.
Everyone in Cove’s team look electrified especially Scott.
He’s not far from Max on the field, and even Max is dumbfounded.
Tania who was still feeling thorned by her mistake gasped out.
Trinidad has no expression—just staring at Cove whose muted eyes are still on the playing LED.
“Whoever played that LED needs to be crucified,” Kane muttered from the middle of the crazy crowd.
• What is wrong with him!
• Who brought him to the field!
• That guy should have been left in the computer science lab or the garage! This isn’t about cars or computer, this about football!!
• Someone get him off!! It’s a goal he could have easily saved!!!
• Get Cove off!!!
The electronic screen of the scoreboard updated.
1-1
Cove didn’t move till the LED feed flickered off.
The referee blew his whistle.
Cove picked the ball out of the net, and tossed it forward without a word.
No argument. No reaction.
Just silence.
But something had changed.
When he straightened, the white jersey stretched over his abdomen was slowly blooming red.
The fresh stitches across his stomach had begun to seep again. A thin line of crimson soaked through the fabric and began to spread.
From the stands, it looked almost animalistic. Like a wounded predator refusing to leave the hunt.
He didn’t feel it.
The restart was immediate.
Max and Scott midfield tore forward, quick triangular passes slicing through the center.
The opposing team winger crossed the ball into the box. Their striker leapt, giving the ball a brutal header.
The ball screamed toward the bottom left corner, but Cove moved before the crowd could even gasp.
He dove low, body stretching across the grass, fingers clawing the turf as his gloved hand snapped out.
The ball slammed into his palm.
He dragged it into his chest and rolled once before rising, holding the ball tight.
He saved it CLEANLY!
The stadium erupted. The cheerleaders screamed.
“Cove! Cove! Cove!”
But Cove didn’t celebrate. He sharpened his stance, his leg muscles straining hard.
Scott intercepted the next pass sharply, tapping the ball to Max without even looking.
Max pivoted with one touch before splitting the opposing team defense.
Tania exploded through the gap.
The defenders chased, but she was already inside the box.
She faked left, and the goalkeeper got deceived, then ahe slid the ball into the right corner.
GOAL.
The stadium detonated.
Scoreboard: 2-1
—
[Skating Rink]The legendary pair is still on the ice. Somehow, they got more ice time than the rest of the pairs.
And that angered the jealous ones.
Remo is seething. Frank is hissing. Elmira and Roxy are boiling. Their eyes are stabbing.
Only happy ones are Tasha and Kehlani and the ones who’re actually here for the thrill.
Dorian pivoted, his arm strong around Stacy’s waist as they rotated together in a smooth circle.
The crowd murmured in approval.
“Ouu…”
It was the kind of movement that looked effortless—but everyone watching knew how difficult it was.
At the rink edge, their coaches leaned forward intensely.
“Good… good… hold it…”
The music swelled, and Dorian’s hands slid to Stacy’s waist.
Without breaking rhythm, he lifted her straight into the air.
The crowd erupted.
“Yes!!!!!!!!!”
Stacy extended her body gracefully above him, arms stretched like wings as he glided across the rink, carrying her overhead.
He spun twice, then lowered her gently back onto the ice.
The LED screen flickered.
TECHNICAL SCORE: 8.7
—
[Stadium]The opposing team came back furious. Their captain took control, dribbling with brutal speed.
Two defenders fell behind him as he broke into the box and fired a low ball toward the far post.
Cove stepped forward instead of backwards—a dangerous move.
The shot came like a bullet, but Cove dropped suddenly.
His knees smashed the turf, body folding over the ball as he trapped it between both gloves.
The impact made his stomach wound tear slightly.
A darker bloom of red spread across his jersey.
Still, he held the ball.
Another save!
He saved the ball for the second time.
The crowd roared again.
“He’s Bleeding!”
But the match is much more important right now since Cove himself doesn’t seem concerned about the blood.
Scott got the ball moments later, and he flicked it to Max.
Max launched it, and Trinidad caught it on the run.
She sprinted down the wing, shoulder-checking one opposing team defender off balance before cutting inside.
Their team goalkeeper rushed her, but it was too late.
Trinidad lifted the ball cleanly over his shoulder, and it dropped gently into the net.
GOAL.
The stadium nearly crushed off with the killing screams.
The scoreboard flipped again.
3-1
—
[Skating Rink]Dorian and Stacy moved faster, footwork sequenced.
Their skates tapped and crossed in rapid patterns, blades tracing identical arcs across the ice.
Stacy spun away from him, then Dorian caught her hand at the last second and pulled her into a sweeping spiral.
Her leg extended behind her like a ribbon in the air as they glided together across the rink.
The crowd roared again.
Stacy and Dorian weren’t just skating, they were performing.
The music sharpened, Dorian accelerated, pulling Stacy into a fast diagonal line across the rink.
Their blades cut faster.
Stacy launched into the air in a clean triple rotation which bursted gasps from the crowd.
She landed perfectly, and the crowd went crazy.
Dorian immediately caught her momentum and spun her into a dramatic dip, her hair nearly brushing the ice.
The LED screen flickered again.
TECHNICAL SCORE: 9.1
—
[Stadium]The second half has begun.
The opposing team responded with pure aggression. They’re angry and desperate now.
Three attackers stormed the penalty box in a tight formation.
Two passed, then the final striker unleashed a top-corner shot.
Cove leapt.
His entire body stretched sideways through the air.
For a moment, he looked suspended.
His fingertips brushed the ball well, and it ricocheted off the crossbar before bouncing out.
He literally slapped the ball out.
Another save! The third save.
The stadium erupted so loudly the metal railings vibrated.
Cove is not only goalkeeper now. To him, the ball is Dorian, and he wants to do every wicked thing existing to the nonliving thing.
Max sent a fast pass toward Scott.
Scott didn’t hesitate. He struck from outside the box.
The ball curved through the air, and the goalkeeper dove too late.
GOAL.
4-1
The crowd went delirious, but the opposing team refused to crumble.
Their striker bulldozed through two defenders and smashed a brutal close-range shot.
Cove reacted like an animal.
He lunged forward, throwing himself directly into the strike.
The ball slammed against his chest and dropped.
Before the striker could react, Cove grabbed it.
Another f+kin save! Fourth save.
He’s like a Wizard at this point, literally.
The cheerleaders shrieked.
Some fans were standing on their seats now.
Kane is grinning loudly. Who knew he’d enjoy today like this.
Pyro is making his damn day! All eyes are on Cove now, and those who said mean things when he missed the first ball are the same ones who’re screaming the most.
Cove looked terrifying in front of the goalkeeping net.
Blood streaked his jersey. He’s breathing hard. Eyes wild.
The match got tougher.
Tania slid the ball sideways through the defense.
Trinidad appeared like lightning.
One touch. One shot.
GOAL.
The scoreboard now looked brutal.
5-1!!
But the match is still on. There’s still ten full minutes left.
Any word more than desperate? That’s what the opposing team are right now. They’re furiously playing, wanting to up their scores as if the remaining ten minutes would miraculously make them win.
One of their strikers intentionally pushed himself at Tania like a victim.
Tania nearly fell, but she held his jersey to gain balance.
Her second mistake.
She really gained balance, but immediately she let go of the jersey, the player fell…
In a penalty point.
It automatically resulted in a penalty.
“That motherfucker!” Kane climbed the chairs with the rest of the crowd as they struggled to see clearly.
The crowd murmured.
• Cheating!
• The arsehole pushed her first!
• Red card needs to come in!
“No! He intentionally pushed his body against mine! It was a trap!” Tania argued with the refree.
“You f+kin pulled my jersey!” The opposing player argued.
“F+k you!!!” Tania flew at him, and a fight nearly erupted on the field.
“Tania!” Max pulled her.
“Don’t fuckin touch me you p+xxy slave! Br+sts servant! Don’t touch!!” Tania yelled hatefully at his sweaty face, pushing his chest.
Max staggered.
“Tania!” Scott cautioned.
“He pushed me before I pulled his jersey!” Tania barked
“Calm the f+k down and don’t ruin this perfect match!” Trinidad glared at her, and Tania scoffed.
The match has two minutes left when the ball was set on the penalty spot, and unfortunately, it’s straight.
The opposing team winger is the one who’d be playing.
By now, Cove’s blood is already dropping from his jersey to his sneakers, and his forearms veins are so much, stretching on his arms.
He looks brutal.
With bloody jersey, gritty jaws, unrestrained lethality, he stood in front of the net, awaiting the shot.
Everyone held their breaths.
—
[Skating Rink]The scoreboard numbers kept climbing.
Dorian lifted Stacy one last time into a breathtaking rotating lift, her body horizontal above him like she was floating through the air.
He held it for two full revolutions before lowering her gracefully to the ice. The music ended.
Silence hung for half a second, then the arena exploded.
Thunderous applause crashed through the rink.
The LED screen blinked again.
FINAL SCORE – 9.4
The highest score of the night so far.
The crowd roared even louder.
Stacy and Dorian stood at center ice, breath misting in the cold air as they looked at the scoreboard.
9 point f+kin 4
Now if the footballers are gonna beat them, their leading team must be above the opposing team by 4.
Otherwise, the footballers will lose to the ice skaters.
The second LED came back on, showing what’s happening on the field. The penalty.
Everyone gasped, and immediately Stacy saw Cove’s bloody jersey, her eyes widened so much.
Dorian scoffed.
“That crazy animal, he should seriously be in therapy,”
“That bloody bastard is extreme,” Remo muttered.
“He probably escaped a psych hospital.” Frank said.
“Great, this is the part where he dies, right?” Roxy grunted.
“I can’t believe I once had a crush on this maniac. Him or Dorian, no idea who I hate most.” Elmira said.
Stacy’s eyes didn’t leave the jersey. That f+kin blood-soaked jersey is so deeply red it’s intimidating.
Yet, he’s standing there in front of the net like a god?
What he said yesterday in the wardrobe wasn’t a bluff after all, cos right now they’re at the edge.
If they’re gonna win against the footballers, then this penalty that is about to happen has to score.
She prayed silently with one part of her mind, and the other part wondered how badly his stitches must have tore under that jersey.
Then… time seemed to stop.
The opposing team winger shot forward, closing in on the ball.
The kick was mad.
The shot was final.
The ball deflected downward in chaotic rebound.
It spun toward the open net.
Cove charged, madder.
Instead of diving, he punched the ball out of the air with both fists.
The impact echoed.
The ball flew back, going halfway to midfield.
A perfect save.
The stadium shattered.
Half of the crowd in the rink rushed out, running towards the stadium.
“No that’s shit!” Remo snarled.
“That didn’t just happen, right? What the fuvk is he? A god?” Elmira gasped, shocked.
“Oh I hate him moreee. Did we just lose to footballers?” Roxy’s mouth stayed parted.
Dorian’s fists balled, his eyes refusing to leave the screen.
His body is trembling. Not with fear but rage. His other personality is struggling to break out and enter that field to kill Cove.
Cove stood in the goalpost, breathing heavily. Bleeding much.
His jersey is now streaked red completely across the abdomen.
The stitches beneath pulled tight with every breath.
But he didn’t care.
He looked less like an athlete now—and more like a wounded animal guarding its territory.
Behind him, the net trembled in the wind. Ahead of him, his team dominated the field with screams, excitement, spirit of winners.
They won!
But no one even wanted to come close to Cove cos of his killer facial expression right now.
A line of blood crawled out of the corner of his lips, staining his chin.
Then…he faced the main stadium camera, knowing Stacy is currently watching at the rink.
Blood dripped off his chin. His eyes seemed to have frozen.
And at that same moment, a third LED flashed on in the loud stadium.
Words displayed on the screen…
BIG CONGRATULATIONS FROM THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT ON YOUR FIRST SINGLE RELEASE AFTER ONE YEAR, DORIAN WESLEY.
The words lingered for two minutes before wiping off, then the song title displayed on the screen.
Both the Latin and the English translation.
Quod volo meum est:
What I Want Is Mine.
That title stayed one minute on screen before the song itself started playing, loud and beautiful.
♪Intro: You can scream all you want…
But I always take what’s mine.
♪Verse 1: I trace the cracks beneath your skin, smile at the chaos that dwells within.
Your pulse is a map of battles won. I claim it all, whatever the burn.
I tie your tongue in my wicked mouth, Every whimper a feral madness in my brain.
You think this is love? No—it’s war,
And I am the fire you adore.
Only the verse one was heard before the stadium rumbled thunderously.
DIAMONDS in the stadium were running mad, jumping.
Now it’s the jubilation of footballers win into the Hall of Fame and the madness of DIAMONDS about the new insane song.
The crowd at the rink made Dorian their muse immediately.
As he stood in the middle with Stacy, they photographed him, but not bold enough to come close cos of his overprotective active guards.
• I love you Metal God!
• I just knew you took time to cook this masterpiece!
• I swear it’ll be on repeat throughout my life. I’ll play it at my funeral!
• You’re so precious!
• This is art! I’m suffocating!
• Your voice!!!
• We stan Riri!!
• Damn, I can’t wait for the music video anymore!
Throughout the pouring, sizzling compliments, Dorian’s emotional eyes never wavered from Stacy.
And…
Stacy’s worried eyes stayed on the LED screen where Cove is staring dangerously like a wounded beast.
—
[Starship Highschool, Sophomore]A portable small MP3 sat on a table in front of the classroom, booming Dorian’s new single loudly.
Everyone in this school is a DIAMOND, but this class is worse cos Trevor initiated everyone.
Cos of his craziness about Dorian’s songs, he was awarded DIAMOND King, and when Cove was getting dragged by DIAMONDS last week, Trevor was respectfully left out of the fight. They love him—especially the girls, cos…. he’s the hottest boy in this school—their sweetheart.
He’s standing on a chair, throwing his head back in his feelings as the song flooded the MP.
The rest of his classmates are dancing and jumping wildly around. The class is a total mess.
Pre-Chorus:♪ Struggle… I savor it.
Cry… I drown in it.
I am the shadow, I am the whip,
I am the venom on your lip.
Chorus: I want what’s mine!
My paradise of pain!
Every scream a crown I claim!
I bite, I bruise,
I take, I choose.
You are mine, in terror and in bloom.
You plead, I grin. We dance in chains,
Desire sharp as silvered pain.
If this is hell, I’ll stay in view,
I want what’s mine… and that’s you.
Verse 2: ♪Your breath quivers beneath my gaze, a symphony of submission ablaze.
I twist, I toy, I break—then mend,
Every wound a means, never the end.
Your fear, your want, it fuels my fire,
A dark devotion that never tires.
We kiss on the edge of ruin’s knife,
Bleed for pleasure, bleed for life.
“There’s no perfect stuff like Dorian’s music in this world!!! It’s my therapy!!!” Trevor jumped down the chair, screaming.
“I wanna die today. This song should be the last thing I hear before I die so I can die peacefully!” A boy gushed.
“I’m so exited about the music video! I swear I can already imagine the chemistry overflowing between him and the vixen he’s gonna use! I’m jealous of her already!” A girl said.
“Is it just me? It feels like he wrote this song to confess for someone. Seems like he wrote it for a girl he loves. I mean…. listen to the lines! Toxic, toxic possession!”
Trevor stopped wilding immediately, breathing hard. If Dorian wrote this for anyone, then it’s definitely Stacy.
Stacy? The same person Cove is obsessed with?
Yeah, obsessed.
Cos Cove has never given anything attention apart from cars in the garage and his computer.
He’s obsessed with those two, but he has been allowing her in the garage, he carried her in his back. That maniac who hates stains in himself… she vomited on him.
Also, he’s always watching her on his phone every hour.
He’s aware that Cove has an app where he watches Stacy from.
So if it’s not toxic obsession, then what’s the name?
Trevor spaced out totally till a guy rushed into the class.
“Y’all, RIDE first sports competition for this semester has been uploaded on their page! Trevor your bastard brother is mentally deranged cos what the fûck!” He shouted.
Phones were dug out of pockets, fingers moved speedily on screens as everyone clicked on RIDE public page, getting what they want.
Full video of the football match and the skating.
A quarter of the class focused on Dorian and Stacy, but the other students focused on Cove.
The Bloody Goalkeeper.
Mouths stayed wide. Eyes stayed pooped. Gasps kept spilling.
“Wizard behaves like he’s possessed everytime. What is this insanity?” Trevor muttered.
“Thank gawd you’re not blood-related, you’d have been as insane as this bastard.” The boy who broke the news said.
Trevor was in his face in the next minute. He threw a blow at the boy’s nose, nearly breaking it.
Everyone shifted back as the boy held his bleeding nose.
“Bastard? You’re the bastard, fuckface,” Trevor said in Italian—his language. “And his name is Covey, or call him Wizard if your stupid tongue is too rotten to call Covey.”
He pushed the boy out of his way and rushed out of the class.
—
[RIDE, Footballers]The campus is still reeling with the students excitement.
It’s even just starting.
The ice skaters look depressed especially Remo and Elmira, Frank and Roxy.
The football team is currently singing around the school, screaming their victory and throwing shinny, expensive confetti around.
Since Cove isn’t around to carry. Even if he’s around, who’d dare carry him?
So they lifted Scott to a player’s shoulders, carrying him around the campus respectfully.
They’re currently turning the school upside down.
The happiness is too much.
First time they scored 5 in a single game, and it’s all thanks to their insane goalkeeper who saved goals for them repeatedly.
Scott got down from the coach’s shoulder at a point when he felt too hot. He needs a bath.
He entered the bathroom and took off just his pants. He left his singlet on. He always left it on whenever he uses the school bathroom cos who knows when any of the crazy guys might barge in and see his scars?
He opened the shower, but the water barely wet him for a minute before someone barged in.
“I knew it!” He turn around, but he went shut when he saw who he wasn’t expecting.
Kane stood by the closed door.
Some of the water splashes reached his buff chest.
His eyes went from Scott’s face to his spiralling c+k, then back to his face.
“They weren’t lying. You have a healthily long D. Biggest I’ve ever seen.” He said blankly.
“Hey,” Scott smiled awkwardly.
“Get rid of that awkwardness, are we puppies now?” He tilted his head, folding his tatted arms across his broad chest.
The water kept dampening Scott, and Kane kept getting the few splashes on his open skin too.
Just two steps between them, but it feels like they’re inside each other. The pull is magnetic.
“You played like a bastard in the stadium, by the way.” Kane smiled.
“You came to watch?” Scott brightened up immediately.
“I got on the ice first at the rink, so immediately I got done,I came to the stadium to watch you. You were a bastard, once again. I was geeked, and proud of my husband.” Kane teased, still smiling.
Not minding his n+ked @rse, Scott closed their space and draped his arms across Kane’s body.
The hug was suffocating, but Kane likes to suffocate. He snaked his arms around Scott too, very fast.
“If I knew you were watching, I’d have played even better.” Scott muttered, kissing Kane’s neck so deep. Kane hugged him tighter.
“Don’t get cheesy, freckled sin.” Kane chuckled, stroking Scott’s hair gently.
They stayed in each other’s arms for what looked like an eternity, as if letting go would spell doom.
As if letting go was a sin.
“Do I get a reward? For being a bastard on the field?” Scott said.
Kane broke the hug, and Scott blinked rapidly at him.
“Are you sure you want a reward?” Kane muttered, caressing the scattered freckles on Scott’s face…
Sensually. S+xually.
“In all senses, please.” Scott replied, voice dropping low.
And Kane instantly went down. Scott expected crazy, but he got mad.
Kane’s big hands curled around his naked cøck, warming it under the shower, babying it so tenderly.
With a dark sense of ownership, a possessive sense of handling. With strangled breaths.
The bathroom felt like it was closing in on them, and Scott’s wife back met the wall heavily.
“F+k…. Kane,” he breathed hotly, his chest coming up and going down, mouth open, fingertips crawling the wall, shower pouring aggressively.
Kane kissed his cap, then licked it, his tongue rolling around the s+nsitive crown till Scott’s legs stiffened.
His insides boiled.
His fingers curled on Kane’s hair.
Kane’s mouth went O shape, taking in the huge c+k completely.
“Ohh….myyy….” Scott’s lips shook like he wants to pass out on overdose. “Ka….. Kane…. Urhg!”
His eyes rolled back, fingers tangling in Kane’s messy hair as his c+k fuçked Kane’s throat, pushing and slamming and thrusting.
He thrusted forward, and Kane sucked forward too, both working hard and good till Scott’s moans boiled up the bathroom.
He couldn’t hold back, couldn’t close his mouth, so he let it pour, feeling as good as he has never felt for years.
The rhythm drove him crazier.
His balls slapped Kane’s chin, his cóck choking him bad, growing fatter and fatter till he exploded hotly in Kane’s perfect mouth.
Swallowing the c+m, Kane came up, and before Scott could breath out an ounce, he was kissing him.
Scott could taste himself in the kiss, could taste his c+m.
His hands wrapped around Kane’s neck, and the kiss went out of control, both devouring.
“Good boy,” Kane groaned, kissing harder, dominating like a king.
And Scott let him.
….
In front of that bathroom, Remo and Max Frank exchanged glances.
Remo smiled, then led them out of the bathroom hall.
They acted like they didn’t hear anything at all.
“We meet at the Champions Night tonight?” Remo said.
Frank and Max left with nods.
—
[Elite2 Hotel]Cove declined hospital, so he was taken back to the hotel.
Thankfully, Matteo was already back from garage.
The doctor was called here from the hospital, and he did the re-stitch in the hotel room.
He got done ten minutes ago, and he left already, but Cove’s eyes are still closed in bed.
Not like he’s unconscious, he just decided to shut the eyes.
Trevor rushed inside, gasping when he saw Cove’s stitched stomach.
“Did he really have to go do that? Why the fûck would he risk his life to win the game?” He said.
“I’ll never understand him, and now I’m having a headache,” Matteo held his head.
“It was a game to us, but it him, it was his pride.” Trinidad said.
Trevor looked at her confusedly.
“Isn’t tommorow the Las Vegas trip? Don’t tell me he’ll be going too!”
No one replied to that, so Trevor’s eyes went back to Cove in bed.
For the first time since he got the collarbone tattoo, he’s shirtless in front of people.
The tattoo looked like a signature of hell on him.
He kept laying there, and this time, he didn’t even get triggered before his mind clocked back.
Another memory stuck.
[Cove’s Memories, Years Ago]It’s all vague again.
Cove is riding on a horse in a really wide field, surrounded by maids and servants and few landscapers.
His fangs made his smile dangerous and beautiful at the same time as the horse galloped fast.
The reins look like toy ropes in his large hands, and his cowboy hat suddenly fell off.
A servant rushed forward to pick the cap, and another servant stood on a two-legged ladder to place the cap back on his head carefully.
But…the horse refused to move again. Cove pulled the reins repeatedly till he got mad.
The horse won’t move.
“I think there’s a problem with the legs, sir.” A servant said.
Gallantly, Cove jumped down from the horse and ordered for gasoline and matchbox.
He was given, and by himself, he wet the horse and set it on fire.
The fire reflected in his eyes, and the silver glinted faintly.
He didn’t even tie the horse down, so as the fire devoured the horse, it ran, crying pitifully.
Cove nodded, dropping the gasoline keg on the field.
“See?” He faced the servants. “Fire is powerfully beautiful. He can’t run? Look at it running.”
The servants couldn’t even look up at him. They let him enjoy the burning view alone by himself.
Three hours, they’re still on the field, watching the burning horse.
By now, he has finished three packs of cigarettes.
“Sir!” A servant rushed down to him, breathlessly.
“His Excellency asks for your presence at the Syndicate building right now,”
“Dad?” Cove frowned. “Tell him I ain’t showing up till I watch my favorite horse burn to ashes.”
“Yes sir!” The servant ran back.
Cove’s evil eyes returned to the burning horse.
“Stupid, stupid animals.” He muttered. “If I can’t get you to do what I want, I kill you.”
[Present Time]Cove got up from the bed.
Matteo spranged up.
“Crap boy! You scared me!”
“Wizard you shouldn’t have played at the risk of tearing your tummy!” Trevor said in concern.
Cove just picked a leather jacket and walked out wordlessly.
Trinidad followed him fast.
“Ice prince! Ice!”
She caught up not far from the elevator.
“You went that far cos you didn’t want Dorian to win with Stacy? Are you insane? Oh, sorry, my bad…cos I already know the answer. What the hell, I’ve never seen you giving anything attention like this before!”
“Your point?” He spoke, detached.
“Just stay home and rest. Don’t attend Champions tonight and don’t join the Las Vegas trip tommorow.” She said.
“Stop acting like a mum, doesn’t suit you.” He glared bitterly and entered the elevator.
Now he’s wearing the leather jacket, completely zipped up.
“Whatever you’re planning to go do right now, please stop.” Trinidad said quickly, but he said nada.
He was still glaring till the elevator door went shut.
“His superiority complex, arrogance, and madness are beyond me.” Trinidad muttered.

[Zendaya’s Mansion]Mr. Brown was moved to the state prison this evening, and Zendaya is only just getting home.
She had cried till she lost her voice, till her face became the deepest shade of red.
The front of the mansion is filled with reporters who’re dying to get words from her.
She was barely able to enter the house. She had to squeeze her way in, but once she entered, she dropped down for some minutes.
She looks famished, so immediately she got up, she picked a slice of pineapple from the freezer and ate.
She rested her back on the refrigerator, chewing and crying slowly, sniffling.
Only fools will think it’s over.
It’s very far from over.
Within 24hrs, her family name landed in the mud with no chance of revival or redemption.
All because of Stacy and her father.
Now Dorian has joined.
He dared punch her father?
Her tears fell on the pineapple, but she ate anyways.
And Cove is the silver-eyed person who set her dad’s suit on fire?
She doesn’t believe it.
Stacy is a lying bitch anyways.
Zendaya sniffled again.
She knows Cove is only playing with Stacy right now.
She knows Cove is waiting for her to lose weight so their love story can start properly.
And she won’t keep him waiting anymore.
She’s going for a fat-removal surgery tonight, and by next week when the students return from their Las Vegas trip, they’ll return to meet a slim version of her.
Cove will get the shape he wants.
Stacy and her father and Dorian will shed tears. She’d ruin them.
If they think she’s wicked now, then they don’t know what they have coming. They’re about to witness the real shade of crazy.
This is just the beginning.

[Dorian’s Mansion]It’s been five hours since the new song release, and it has clocked 150M streams, the greatest.
Dorian’s breakthrough. It’s his most streamed music on the first day of release, and right now he’s moved to tears cos in one more hour, he’s gonna be hitting 160M. Before tommorow morning, he’s sure to hit close too 200.
What would he do without his amazing fanbase who loves him so damn much?
The song has been trending, gaining fame, occupying every cover, playing on radios, TVs, buses, cars and every f+kin phone.
Even those who weren’t his fan before became his DIAMONDS.
He gained handful of followers just today alone. People are so in love with the song especially the parts rewritten by Cove.
They love the toxicity.
But no one is aware that Cove is his co-writer on the song though.
He put his name, but not in full.
Songwriters: Dorian Wesley & CF.
But people don’t even care about the CF or the meaning.
They just wanna listen and go crazy.
Dorian is in his Vibe Room with his seven crew members, his mother and Angela.
They held cocktails.
Kaylee is shedding tears, for real.
“Don’t even start, Mama K.” Dorian smiled brightly.
“I mean…” Kaylee placed an arm on his shoulders. “I knew I birthed a glorious son when I had you, so I stopped giving birth after you cos I knew you’d bring me all the pride I need. I love you so much.”
Dorian hugged her fondly. “You’re dramatic.”
“Let me stay dramatic, Rian. You left music for a year, and now you returned to more fame like you never left? 150M views in five hours? Who else has done it before! I’m so proud of you!” Kaylee wiped her tears.
“You should be,” Dorian chuckled.
Angela widened her arms, and he hugged her too. She wants to badly tighten it, but he didn’t allow her.
He kept it light.
“Congratulations, Riri. I’m super proud of your pen game. I knew the lyrics would bring you fame the moment I saw them.” She smiled.
Dorian broke the hug.
“Thank you, Angel.”
He hugged his crew members one by one.
The brilliant instrumentals.
The studio setters and editors.
“This is only just the start of the soaring, y’all. I promise.”
They raised their glasses, each carrying genuine smile on their faces as they all clinked.
“Cheers!”
Kaylee received another call immediately. She has been receiving calls from friends and business partners since the song release.
“Hello?” She smiled.
“Your son is a gem! Please tell him I’m in love with his lyrics and the voice! The delivery is too good. I love this song I don’t even understand what it’s doing to me! I can’t explain!”
Kaylee cackled.
“I knoww…my son is mad good!”
As she talked, she walked out of the room, chuckling.
Dorian left for his room, fed the insects and picked up his phone.
His song isn’t the only thing trending. His skate with Stacy is trending too.
Everywhere.
And the comments are making him happy.
• They’re so cute!
• I want them to date!
• Never have I ever seen a more compatible pair on ice!
• The chemistry, damn!
• Please tell me something is between them right now!
Dorian smiled… “I wish,”
But then….the posts started disappearing.
One by one.
Every post glorifying him and Stacy.
They wiped off the internet as if someone mopped them off.
Even the videos.
The one he’s currently watching, the ones he has watched.
Everything wiped off!
Dorian spranged up.
“What the hell,” he muttered.
His eyes charged. The oceanic darkened.
He didn’t need anyone to tell him. Someone hacked the internet.
A particular someone he knows.
Dorian barged out of the mansion.
As he’s getting in his car, his guards lined in a car after him.
He drove himself, sliding over the smooth road like he’s on the ice.
He put men on Cove’s tail, and he knows he’s currently staying at Elite2 Hotel, so his drive was headed there.
But strangely, there was holdup on the highway, and he had to slow down with the other cars.
He waited in the car for more than ten minutes. No car moved, but bikers are moving.
He got unbearably impatient and used his nose mask to cover.
He got out of the car, telling his guards to get out too so they can go get bikes anywhere.
He’s gonna buy them.
But immediately he stepped out of the car, a helmeted biker drove through the space between his car and the next car.
No one saw it coming. Not even the guards.
The biker took the car door from Dorian and threw it shut…
Right on Dorian’s fingers.
The door closed on his fingers.
His smallest finger got cut till only a little flesh is holding it down.
In the middle of the traffic, Dorian went down, letting out a maddening shriek.

[Montana Mansion]It’s 7pm, and all the girls are here with Stacy, preparing to go for Champions Night.
It happens on the night after every football match. Never has it been omitted.
Everyone can come, just that the winning team would be the stars of the night, and they chose the dress code. Dress code is jersey on denim.
All the girls are dressed and ready except Stacy who’s still in front of the mirror, wearing makeup.
Her blush brush has stopped on her cheek since a minute ago.
She’s spacing out, again.
She had been spacing out since she returned, thinking about how that nutjob is doing.
He literally almost killed himself just to prove a point to her, and she shouldn’t be worried, but he’s human anyways. Though he doesn’t behave like one, but he has skin, at least.
“Stay-Cee!” Kehlani’s voice made her snap out of her daze.
“Huh?” She looked back.
“What the f+k are you spacing out for? I’m telling you I can’t find videos of you and Dorian anymore! Even the one on the campus official page has been deleted. There’s nothing!”
“What!” Stacy stood.
She took her phone, and truly, there’s no online video, not even the littlest clip.
“The internet was hacked? What the fûck! Who?” Tasha gasped.
“Last time this happened was before I was even born!” Tania gasped too.
Stacy stayed calm, but she couldn’t stop herself from gulping.
She knows. It’s him.
No other person would pull off this shit as cleanly as this.
“The school will do something about it, maybe pay Cove to help them retrieve the videos.” Kehlani said.
“Can we please move? We’re already late!” Tania got down from the bed.
Stacy checked herself out in the mirror one more time, adjusted her blush and the studded belt on her mini denim skirt.
Her jersey is baby pink.
Kehlani’s is green
Tasha white.
Tania burgundy.
Instead of numbers, GLITZ was written on their backs.
They look too good.
“Are you guys sure it’s right to go party tonight? I mean… tommorow morning we’ll be on the flight to Las Vegas! Stacy even packed her bags already” Tasha complained.
“Now don’t talk like you haven’t packed your bags too.” Tania said.
She’s dull, but she’s only trying to hide it. She made two mistakes in the stadium today, and that’ll make Trinidad gain merits over her.
“Let’s go drink till we drop dead!” Kehlani led them out of the room.
They met Albert by the main door, and Stacy gave him a side hug.
She blew kisses at Anita while the girls waved at the woman.
“Enjoy your night, my girls!” Albert winked at them.
They left shortly.
Anita took Albert’s briefcase from the guard carrying it.
“Are you gonna shower first before I serve dinner, or dinner first?”
“Dinner first, please. I’m starving.” Albert groaned.
Anita dropped the briefcase upstairs, then came back down fast.
Albert was already sitting comfortably on the dinning when she arrived.
She lowered her earbuds from her ears. She was listening to Dorian’s new song before.
“Where are you gonna tell Beauty about your plan, sir?” She asked.
Albert looked up.
“The presidential?”
Anita nodded.
“Soon,” Albert said.
Anita disappeared into the kitchen, and Albert rolled his sleeves.

[RIDE University]THUMP. THUMP. THUMP.
The loud blast of music across speakers in every Major is sickening.
Tonight, they dedicated the speakers to Dorian’s music.
Both his heavy and soft metal jams are shaking the grounds, breathing on the walls and leaping to the sky.
Jerseys filled everywhere in every colour. It’s the best night in the lives of RIDE footballers.
Bling lights, new couples, jocks romance and geeks dates.
It’s too sweet.
Stacy’s waist chains were rattling on her bare waist as she held her pink cup of juice up under the lights of the first hall she entered with her girls.
Her jersey is cropped, so imagine the chains movements and her glinting navel gem.
She’s prettier.
“C’mon!!!!!” Kehlani screamed behind her, and the twins followed.
They all held their solo cups containing their favorite flavors.
Max and Elmira went past them, Roxy and Frank too.
It didn’t take long before Kane and Scott came along too.
Trinidad is next, looking so darn handsome. Yeah, handsome.
Her eyes met with Tania’s, and while Tania rolled eyes, Trinidad just smirked mockingly.
She came with Trevor. Trevor mightn’t be a student here, but she gained entry anyways thanks to Trinidad’s influence.
Stacy waved at him, and he surprisingly waved back.
She smiled.
“We should move too! I’m sure the stadium is full now!” Tania said.
The main party is happening in the stadium tonight.
“Y’all go on!” Stacy gave her bag and phone to Kehlani. “Need to pee!”
They parted ways in that hall, and she easily found a bathroom.
She easily did her business too, but the moment she came out of the room to the outer room, she knew going out would be hard.
A tall shadowy figure stood by the door, his back rested on the metal.
Cove.
Hair slightly messy and it’s sure he intentionally left it like that.
As usual, he sported baggy denim.
Baggy fits him in a bad boy, devilish god, nutjob kinda way.
He wore black jersey, number 120.
His black boots are big and heavy as usual, covered by his denim till only the thick sole is showing under.
Stacy looked away at first, but he didn’t move, neither did he speak.
Tension clogged the air like strong fragrance. The sound of pounding music from outside the majors made her ears beat like a heart.
She suddenly felt unbearable heat, and her lips felt too tight.
Cove watched every reaction of hers through the one piece of dark hair that fell over his right eye.
Stacy figured out things would stay still if she doesn’t move, so she moved, two steps closer.
“Miss me?” He spoke before she could take the third step.
She wanted to ask about his tummy, but now that he talked before her, she swallowed her own question.
She couldn’t even find the right answer to give him. Miss him?
What’s the answer?
She just stared at him, her mini skirt suddenly feeling like micro with the way his broody eyes ate her body.
Her cropped jersey suddenly felt like a br@ too.
His eyes are witchy.
“Miss me?” He repeated, lifting his frame from that door.
She retracted her steps, but he didn’t allow her much freedom before he caught up, and….
Those cold hands slid around her waist. The two at a time.
She iced up…
“Say it,” he muttered, his breaths slapping her face. “Say you miss me, and I might just lessen your punishment.”
Her eyes widened.
“Wh-at??”
“Say it…. Dollface. You miss me.” He whispered, body pressing hers.
“Sto—”
“SAY IT!!! SAY YOU FUCKIN MISS ME!!!! OPEN YOUR DAMN MOUTH AND SAY THE WORDS TO MY DAMN FACE!!! SAY YOU MISS ME! SAY IT, SAY IT, SAY IT!!!” He yelled, eyes glaring obsessively, lips flat, expression slashing like thousand blades.
Stacy’s fingers shook…. their eyes locked, his long fingers turning colder on her waist.
“You need help, I can’t stand you.” She muttered.
“THEN KNEEL!” He snarled.
“I beg your pardon?” She whispered.
“THEN BEG!” He slammed, voice stripped of mercy.
TBC.
