The students arrived at the resort, their luggage in tow, eyes wide at the sprawling property. The staff led them through the buildings, explaining room allocations.

โ€œJacks and Pawns are on the first floor, Knights on the second, and the Aces will use the other building,โ€ a staff member announced.

Everyone quickly found their rooms and began settling in, unpacking bags and choosing beds.

โ€œHave you seen Bluey?โ€ Nia asked, peeking around the hallway.

โ€œNope. I canโ€™t even see Hadesโ€™ car anywhere,โ€ Loci replied, leaning against the wall. โ€œLooks like they havenโ€™t arrived yet.โ€

โ€œOh.โ€ Nia frowned, her eyes scanning the driveway outside.

โ€œLetโ€™s go check in first and pick the best room,โ€ Natalie suggested, tugging at Niaโ€™s arm.

The girls agreed, heading down the hall. They were assigned two per room, which sparked a few groans and giggles. Nia and Natalie ended up together, since Nia couldnโ€™t stay with her boyfriendโ€”if she did, Natalie would have to be with Zayne.

Zayne and Loci paired up, each claiming the corner bed by the window. Juniper and Morgan shared a room. Dawn and Desiree,  Natasha and Aris while Gomez insisted on being alone, making it clear he didnโ€™t want a roommate.

Once everything was set, they all agreed on the nightโ€™s first event.

โ€œRemember, 8:30 sharpโ€”get your bikinis ready for the opening swim party,โ€ someone reminded them.

Excitement buzzed through the group as they finished unpacking, the energy of the trip beginning to sink in.

โ€œCanโ€™t wait,โ€ Natalie murmured, glancing at the balcony that overlooked the glowing beach below.

The resort felt alive, the waves crashing softly in the distance, and everyone already knew this was going to be a wild three days.

Dawn and Desireeโ€™s room buzzed with the sound of zippers and shuffling clothes as they unpacked their bags. Dawn paused, staring down at her hands.

โ€œGirl, is there a problem?โ€ Desiree asked, noticing her friendโ€™s sudden silence.

โ€œNoโ€ฆ Iโ€™m fine,โ€ Dawn murmured, but her voice lacked conviction.

โ€œYouโ€™re not fine. Obviously. You lookโ€ฆ sad,โ€ Desiree pressed, her brow furrowed.

Dawn sank onto the edge of her bed and finally let the tears fall.

โ€œOh my God, what is it?โ€ Desiree exclaimed, rushing to sit beside her.

โ€œI justโ€ฆ I feel guilty,โ€ Dawn whispered between sobs.

โ€œAbout?โ€

โ€œAll this whileโ€ฆ Hugo was actually trying to make amends because he liked me. He was trying to make up for what he did wrong, and I thoughtโ€ฆ I thought he just wanted us to go back to beingโ€ฆ you know, fuckmates,โ€ Dawn admitted, her voice breaking.

โ€œAnd?โ€ Desiree tilted her head. โ€œYou like him too, so why is that a problem? Isnโ€™t that what you always wanted?โ€

โ€œI know, butโ€ฆ I misunderstood him. I told him to his face that I was gonna let him fuck me. I think he was disappointed andโ€ฆ now heโ€™s not talking to me. I messed up,โ€ Dawn said, palming her face in frustration.

โ€œGoodness, people in love are so dramatic. I canโ€™t believe youโ€™re sulking over this. Why not just talk to him yourself and clear things up? Or let him approach you. You two are acting like babies,โ€ Desiree teased.

โ€œI donโ€™t know what to do, Des. What if he loses interest in me?โ€ Dawn admitted, her voice small.

โ€œThen forget him! Geez, you have so many solutions,โ€ Desiree laughed, tossing a pillow at her.

Dawn flinched as it hit her, and Desiree chuckled, โ€œYou should see your face right now, crying over a boy.โ€

โ€œStop laughing at my misery! Itโ€™s not funny,โ€ Dawn huffed, wiping her tears.

Desiree grabbed Dawnโ€™s hands and squeezed them, her eyes softening.

โ€œAlright, drama queen. Letโ€™s just fix this before you turn this whole trip into a pity party, okay?โ€

Dawn nodded slowly, a small smile breaking through her tears. โ€œYeahโ€ฆ okay. Maybe Iโ€™ll text him later.โ€

โ€œGood girl. Now dry those tears…. beach party in a few hours, and I swear youโ€™re not sulking the whole time,โ€ Desiree said, giving her shoulder a playful nudge.

Hades and Bluey had just arrived at the resort. The moment they entered the room, Bluey dropped face-first onto the bed with a groan.

โ€œIโ€™m so exhausted,โ€ she muttered, her voice muffled against the pillow.

โ€œAlready?โ€ Hades said, setting down their bags by the dresser. โ€œYou just got here.โ€

Bluey rolled over to glare at him. โ€œSays the guy who dragged me through half the city. You stopped at a restaurant, a tattoo shop, and then made me walk around for no reason.โ€

โ€œYou were the one who said you wanted to โ€˜see the view.โ€™โ€Hades smirked.

โ€œYeah, not the entire map,โ€ she mumbled, flipping back over.

As Hades unpacked their bags, something caught his attention. He paused, holding up a small piece of white lace between his fingers.

โ€œYou wear these?โ€His brow lifted slightly.

โ€œWhatโ€”hey! Give it back!โ€Blueyโ€™s eyes shot open.

She jumped up on her knees, reaching for it, but he only raised his hand higher, clearly entertained.

The white g-string dangled from his fingers, the tiny flower patterns looking almost innocent.

โ€œI havenโ€™t seen you wearing these before,โ€ he said, his tone calm but teasing. โ€œDid you get it newly? When?โ€

โ€œJust give it here, Hades!โ€Bluey huffed, trying to grab it again.

โ€œAnswer me first,โ€ He said simply, eyes glinting with amusement.

โ€œFine!โ€ She snapped, crossing her arms. โ€œI ordered it online yesterday morning. Happy now?โ€

He studied her expression for a second, then handed it back, lips twitching as if holding back a smile.

โ€œReally? Why?โ€ Hades asked, his voice low as he leaned closer until her back met the bed.

His shadow loomed over her, his breath warm against her skin.

Bluey froze, heart pounding wildly in her chest. She tried to look anywhere but at him.

โ€œBecauseโ€ฆ umโ€ฆ I was trying toโ€ฆ impress you,โ€ she whispered, eyes darting away.

He caught her chin gently, turning her face toward him until she was forced to meet his gaze. His eyes were dark, unreadable, like he was trying to look straight into her thoughts.

โ€œImpress me?โ€ he repeated, tone teasing but softer now.

Bluey nodded slightly. โ€œYou seeโ€ฆ I donโ€™t like how you see me as a little kid or some small, innocent girl. I justโ€ฆ wanted to level up a bit.โ€

His lips curved, not into a smirk this time, but something deeperโ€”something that made her pulse skip.

โ€œSo, you want to be a bad girl for me, huh?โ€ he murmured.

โ€œYeah. Maybe you should actually treat me like one.โ€Her voice trembled but didnโ€™t falter.

For a moment, neither of them moved. The air between them grew thick, charged. His gaze lingered on her lips, then back to her eyes.

โ€œAre you putting on one right now?โ€ he asked quietly.

Blueyโ€™s throat felt dry. She swallowed, feeling her heartbeat thrum in her ears. His closeness made it hard to breathe, the warmth of him, the quiet weight of his stare,

โ€œYeah,โ€ Bluey breathed, barely above a whisper.

โ€œIโ€™m gonna check.โ€Hadesโ€™s lips curled into a slow smirk and crawled down towards her legs, spreading them wide.

Her breath caught as his hand brushed along her thigh, a teasing glide that sent sparks racing through her veins.

His touch was deliberate, slow enough to make her heart pound, firm enough to make her legs tremble.

Bluey shut her eyes tight, the sensation washing over her as his hand slid into her gown and held the thin hem of the panties.

โ€œHadesโ€ฆโ€ she whispered, but her voice cracked halfway through his name.

He leaned closer, his breath warm against her ear. โ€œYou know what happens when you try to tempt me, right?โ€

Her pulse quickened as he raised her gown up till it was above her tummy and he licked his lips at the sight before him.

The color of the p+nties were red, and his c+k twitched when he saw the part covering her cunt was soaked badly.

He traced lazy circles on her skin, his gaze never leaving her face. The way he looked at her….hungry, curious, drawn made her body heat in waves.

โ€œYouโ€™re shaking,โ€ He murmured as her legs kept vibrating.

His hand trailed higher, fingers tracing the edge of her thigh, deliberate and teasing. Bluey shivered, her breath catching in her throat as her hands gripped his shoulders.

His fingers grazed her cli+ and she shuddered.

โ€œYou’re already wet? Do you get turned on that easily?โ€Hades murmured, his voice deep, threaded with amusement and something darker as he rubbed her clit now through the p+nties,

Her pulse thundered. She couldnโ€™t find her words, not when he was this close, not when every nerve in her body felt alive under his touch.

โ€œHadesโ€ฆoh my!!โ€ she breathed, a quiet plea lost between them.

He smirked, brushing his nose against her cheek, his tone dropping to a whisper.

 โ€œGuess what, Mi ruina?โ€

 โ€œWhat?โ€Blueyโ€™s lashes fluttered.

โ€œI had your name tattooed on my skin today,โ€ He said, his breath warm against her skin.

Her eyes flew open. โ€œYouโ€ฆ what?โ€

โ€œAreโ€ฆ you for real?โ€ Bluey breathed, eyes wide.

Hades didnโ€™t answer right away. His free hand went to his buttons, and one by one he undid them, slow and deliberate, before snapping the white shirt open.

Blueyโ€™s breath hitched. There it was…bold, dark, and fresh, her name BLUEY, inked across his left chest with a shaded heart curling around it.

Her hand trembled as she reached out, fingertips brushing over the inked skin. The warmth beneath her palm, the faint sting of the new tattoo, it all made it feel too real.

โ€œItโ€™sโ€ฆ pretty,โ€ She whispered, tracing the edges of the letters. โ€œDoes it hurt?โ€

โ€œA bit,โ€ Hades admitted, a ghost of a smile playing on his lips. โ€œItโ€™s still fresh. But I donโ€™t mind.โ€

Blueyโ€™s heart swelled. Without thinking, she leaned in and kissed him. It was slow, deep, and full of everything words couldnโ€™t say. When she pulled away, her voice was barely a whisper.

โ€œDo you love me, Hades?โ€

He brushed his thumb against her lower lip, eyes glinting with something dark and sincere all at once.

โ€œObviously, I love you, cherish and adore youโ€ฆโ€ His gaze darkened, voice dropping to a murmur. โ€œโ€ฆbut every so often, I want to ruin you too.โ€

Bluey froze, her jaw slightly parted. Before she could respond, his lips found her neck, grazing her skin before biting down softly. A shiver rippled through her body.

โ€œIโ€™ll go check on the boys. You can go see your friends too.โ€He straightened, giving her a teasing wink.

And just like that, he turned and walked out, leaving her sitting there, completely undone.

Bluey fell back against the bed, a dreamy smile spreading across her face as she kicked her feet in the air.

โ€œOh my God,โ€ She squealed, muffling her voice with a pillow. โ€œIโ€™ve got the hottest man alive.โ€

“Boss, is it true you sent some of our men to kidnap Iris?” Banjo asked.

“God, don’t remind me of that those stupid goats couldn’t even do something right. Just one woman and they let her slip away,” Marco snapped.

“What are your plans now?” Banjo pressed.

“I still have an opportunity to kidnap her. MIA is having their annual masked ball in a few months. It’s the perfect place for me to get Iris and this time I will do it myself,” Marco said coldly.

“Also,” Marco added, “…we have some of our clients looking for organ donors. See it through with MIA. Contact Dora and ask if they have new supplies.”

“Sure,” Banjo replied.

Corazon and Anthony were sitting at the dining table, eating, when a maid walked in.

โ€œMaโ€™am, sir, this mail just arrived,โ€ she said, holding out an envelope.

Anthony took it, breaking the seal, and immediately froze. His fork clattered against his plate.

โ€œWhat is it?โ€ Corazon asked, noticing the sudden tension. She reached for the envelopeโ€”but Anthony held it just out of her reach.

โ€œWhatโ€ฆ Gael filed for a divorce?!โ€ Corazonโ€™s voice cracked as her eyes widened.

Anthony nodded, still staring at the paper. Corazon snatched it from him and scanned the contents. Her blood ran cold as she read through it.

The divorce papers were damning: Gael was not only ending their marriage but explicitly requesting that he take back everything he had given her.

Properties, money, investments, political connectionsโ€”everything. Every asset she had acquired through him was now being claimed as compensation for her infidelity.

Her heart started racing. Her mind scrambled, trying to process it. Everything she hadโ€”everything she ownedโ€”was tied to Gael. Without him, she literally had nothing.

The luxurious mansion, the cars, the accounts, even the influence she had carefully built in the political worldโ€”it was all contingent on him.

โ€œNoโ€ฆ no, this canโ€™t be happening,โ€ Corazon whispered, her hands shaking.

She sank into her chair, staring at the papers as if they were venom.

โ€œIโ€™ll be left withโ€ฆ nothing. Absolutely nothing. Everything I haveโ€ฆ itโ€™s all Gael!โ€ Panic clawed at her chest.

Anthony placed a hand on her shoulder, but she barely registered it. Her mind was spinning with fear and disbelief, realizing for the first time just how dependent her entire world had been on him.

Corazonโ€™s phone buzzed violently against the dining table, pulling her out of her daze. She saw the caller IDโ€”Gael.

Her heart lurched. Fury replaced her fear. She snatched the phone and pressed it to her ear.

โ€œWhat the f+k is wrong with you!! Why are you charging me? Are you damn stupid?โ€ she snapped, voice trembling between rage and panic.

On the other end, Gaelโ€™s voice was calm, venomous, and cold.

โ€œYes. So stupid,โ€ he said smoothly. โ€œNow youโ€™re going to sign those papers, Corazon. If you donโ€™t, you and your little fuck toy, Anthony, will both end up in jail.โ€

Her pulse thudded hard in her throat. โ€œWhat the hell do you want, Gael? You must actually want something from me for you to be making all these stupid demands!โ€

Gael gave a low, cruel chuckle.

โ€œNow youโ€™re talking like the wise woman I fell in love with,โ€ he said mockingly.

โ€œIf you want me to drop the case, then get your sorry ass back here, Corazon. Because if I canโ€™t have you, nobody will. And if you insist on playing smartโ€ฆโ€ His voice darkened.

โ€œIโ€™ll make your life so miserable, youโ€™ll beg for mercy. Iโ€™ll destroy Anthonyโ€™s career in politics, and you know I canโ€”because without me, youโ€™re both nothing.โ€

โ€œYou canโ€™t do this to me!!โ€Her voice cracked with desperation.

โ€œGuess what, my evil wife,โ€ he said softly, almost laughing. โ€œI just did.โ€

The line went dead.

Corazon stood frozen, her phone still pressed against her ear. The room felt like it was closing in on herโ€”her chest tight, her breath short.

Anthony called her name, but she couldnโ€™t hear him. Her mind was consumed with one truth:

Gael wasnโ€™t bluffing.

He was going to ruin her and she had no one left to save her.

Corazon dropped onto the chair, shaking violently, her hands clutching the table as her mind raced. Anthonyโ€™s phone buzzed endlessly, but each call seemed to bring worse news.

โ€œSirโ€ฆ the majority of our campaign supporters just pulled out,โ€ One of his aides reported, voice trembling. โ€œTheyโ€™ve decided to back other candidates.โ€

Anthonyโ€™s jaw tightened. โ€œWhat about the foreign supporters?โ€

โ€œTheyโ€ฆ theyโ€™re reconsidering too, sir. Apparently, Mr Sinclair’s secretary spoke with them this morning. If he continues this, our connectionsโ€ฆ our entire networkโ€ฆโ€ The aideโ€™s words trailed off.

Corazon grabbed Anthonyโ€™s arm, panic flooding her voice.

โ€œItโ€™s not just about the money, Anthony! Heโ€™s taking everything, your influence, your support, your powerโ€ฆ itโ€™s all Gaelโ€™s!โ€

Anthony ran a hand through his hair, pacing, trying to stay calm. But Corazon could see the fear in his eyes, the way his usually confident posture had collapsed.

โ€œIโ€ฆ I canโ€™t lose this,โ€ He murmured, voice tight with frustration and disbelief. โ€œNot my campaign, not my supportersโ€ฆ not everything Iโ€™ve worked for.โ€

Corazon shook her head, tears slipping down her cheeks. โ€œAnd I canโ€™t leave you, Anthony. I love youโ€ฆ I wonโ€™t let him take me away from you too!โ€

Anthony froze at her words, his shoulders sagging as the weight of reality hit him. He wanted to protect her, to fight back but with Gael controlling the web of connections and power, it felt like the ground had been ripped from under them.

It felt like he had to choose between Corazon and his career.

โ€œCorazonโ€ฆ Iโ€ฆโ€ He tried to speak, but the knot in his chest made it impossible.

She leaned closer, clutching his hand. โ€œWeโ€™ll figure this out. Somehow. We canโ€™t let him win. Not like this.โ€

Anthony looked at her, his eyes burning with a mix of fear and desperation, knowing deep down that Gael wasnโ€™t just a threat, he was an unstoppable force.

And right now, they were both at his mercy.

Miss Dora was waiting in her room, the low hum of music from the beach party echoing faintly through the open window.

Most of the staff were outside enjoying themselves, but she wasnโ€™t in the mood for fun. She had businessโ€”and she was waiting for him.

A knock came. The door opened without waiting for her response.

Joker stepped in, his usual smirk replaced by a frown. โ€œWhatโ€™s going on? Weโ€™re supposed to be camping, right? No official work.โ€

โ€œI know,โ€ Miss Dora sighed, rubbing her temple.

โ€œI just got a call from some of our clients. Theyโ€™re looking for organ donors for their buyers as well, so theyโ€™ll be putting us through them.โ€

Jokerโ€™s brows furrowed. โ€œAnd?โ€

โ€œMadam Rue wants you to oversee the transaction,โ€ Miss Dora said flatly.

Joker let out a sharp laugh, running a hand through his hair. โ€œIs she kinda crazy? Iโ€™m already handling other stuff as it is. Tell Mavka to do it.โ€

โ€œMavka is on another mission,โ€ Dora replied calmly.

โ€œThen she can multitask, sheโ€™s an AI,โ€ Joker snapped. โ€œIf the clients canโ€™t wait until these three days are over, then they can find other buyers.โ€

โ€œYouโ€”โ€Miss Dora gave him a long, warning look.

โ€œWhat?โ€ Joker cut in, rolling his eyes. โ€œItโ€™s a fun camp. Tell Rue I get to take the day off whenever I like. Geez.โ€

He turned and walked out, slamming the door behind him.

Miss Dora exhaled through her nose, muttering under her breath as she straightened the papers on the table.

โ€œGeez,โ€ she echoed, shaking her head. โ€œThat boy.’โ€

โ˜… 8PM โ˜…

The warm glow of the setting sun reflected off the ocean as the campโ€™s beachside pool party kicked off. Music thumped through speakers set along the sand, mixing with the sound of waves crashing gently against the shore.

Students laughed, splashed, and danced, some barefoot in the sand, others wading into the pool or swimming in the ocean. Grills smoked nearby, sending the savory scent of barbecue into the air, while tables were stacked with colorful drinks and finger foods.

Dawn stepped out onto the balcony of their building, the scarf tied around her waist fluttering slightly in the breeze over her bikini.

She adjusted her bikini and took a deep breath, soaking in the energy of the party.

Her eyes immediately found him. Hugo was leaning casually against the railing of the balcony of one of the resort buildings.

Taking a steadying breath, Dawn smoothed her scarf and made her way toward him, weaving through groups of students laughing and dancing.

โ€œHey,โ€ she called lightly as she reached him, her voice cutting through the faint hum of the party.

Hugo turned, eyes lighting up as they landed on her.

โ€œHey,โ€ he said, stepping a little closer.

The sound of the waves and the music softened in her ears as her focus narrowed on him.

โ€œYou decided to come up here and hide from the party?โ€ she teased, her fingers brushing the scarf at her waist.

โ€œNot hidingโ€ฆ just enjoying the view,โ€ Hugo replied, his gaze locking onto hers.

โ€œYouโ€™re not out there partying? Thatโ€™s quite unusual,โ€ she said, stopping a few feet from him.

โ€œDonโ€™t really feel like it,โ€ Hugo replied simply, his tone calm but tired in a way she hadnโ€™t noticed before.

Dawn nodded, shifting awkwardly. โ€œIโ€™m sorry.โ€

His brows furrowed slightly. โ€œSorry? For what?โ€

โ€œFor what I told you yesterday. At the restaurant,โ€ she said, looking down at her hands. โ€œIโ€™m sorry if it made you upset. I misunderstood you, and I shouldnโ€™t have.โ€

Hugo sighed softly and shook his head. โ€œItโ€™s not a problem. And Iโ€™m not mad at you. Iโ€™m mad at myself. Iโ€™m the one at fault here, so I shouldnโ€™t be complaining.โ€

โ€œStillโ€ฆ Iโ€™m sorry.โ€

He smiled faintly, then reached out and took her hand gently, his thumb brushing over her skin. โ€œBut I do have a chance, right?โ€ he asked, his eyes searching hers.

Dawn froze. Her breath caught, her heart pounding so loudly she was sure he could hear it.

She bit her lip before finally meeting his gaze. โ€œWellโ€ฆ Iโ€™m in love with you. Iโ€™ve always been.โ€

For a moment, the world went silent. The waves, the music, the laughterโ€”it all faded into the background. Hugoโ€™s expression softened, a mix of disbelief and something deeper, something tender.

He took a slow breath. โ€œDawn,โ€ he said quietly, his voice steady but warm. โ€œIโ€™m not going to rush this. Iโ€™m going to court you properlyโ€”no games, no pretending.โ€

Her eyes widened slightly, the word court sounding both old-fashioned and sweet in a way she didnโ€™t expect.

โ€œI want you to see that my intentions are pure,โ€ he continued, still holding her hand. โ€œThat Iโ€™m serious about you. You deserve that.โ€

Dawn smiled, a small, nervous smile that trembled at the corners. โ€œThen Iโ€™ll hold you to that,โ€ she whispered.

Hugo grinned softly, brushing his thumb across her knuckles before letting go.

โ€œGood,โ€ He said, eyes never leaving hers. โ€œBecause I donโ€™t plan on letting you change your mind.โ€

****

Loci and Nia were already out in the ocean, laughing as the waves splashed around them. The party lights reflected on the water like broken stars, music thumping from the beach speakers.

Inside, Bluey was still getting ready. When she finally opened her door, Zayne, who had been leaning casually against the wall, froze.

His jaw slackened, eyes widening as though heโ€™d just seen something forbidden.

โ€œF+k,โ€ he muttered under his breath.

Bluey blinked. โ€œWhat is it? Havenโ€™t you seen me in a bikini before?โ€

But even she could tell from the way he was staring that this wasnโ€™t just any look.

Her bikini was a deep, sinful redโ€”thin-strapped with a heart-shaped cut at the center of her chest. The top hugged her br+asts perfectly, while the bottom tied at the sides with delicate bows that rested against her hips. A sheer wrap clung loosely to her waist, swaying with every movement she made.

She looked like summerโ€™s temptation come alive.

โ€œSo,โ€ she said with a playful grin, โ€œdo you think Hades will like it?โ€

Zayneโ€™s expression shifted, his jaw tightening as he stepped closer. Without warning, his hand slid to her waist, and he pressed her back against the doorโ€”not roughly, but firm enough to make her breath hitch.

โ€œWhy?โ€ he whispered, his face just inches from hers.

โ€œHuh?โ€ Blueyโ€™s pulse jumped.

โ€œWhy does it have to be him?โ€ His voice dropped lower, almost a growl. โ€œWhy should Hades own all of thisโ€ฆ?โ€ His hand brushed lightly against her side, his tone dark with frustration. โ€œIt should be mine.โ€

The words were a mix of desire and envy, hot against her ear.

Bluey froze, her heart hammering in her chest. The way his breath lingered against her skin made her whole body tenseโ€”not from excitement, but from fear.

If Hades saw thisโ€ฆ

Zayne was as good as dead.

Bluey swallowed hard, her voice trembling as she forced a nervous laugh. โ€œYouโ€”you need to back off, Zayne. This isnโ€™t funny.โ€

But Zayne didnโ€™t move immediately. His eyes were still clouded with something raw and dangerous.

โ€œZayne,โ€ she said again, this time with warning.

โ€œJust choose me, Bluey. Choose me, and Iโ€™ll treat you even better,โ€ Zayne said, his voice trembling with both frustration and longing.

He reached out, fingers brushing her chin, and before she could move, he leaned in to kiss her.

But Bluey snapped her head sharply to the side.

โ€œZayne,โ€ she said coldly, her eyes narrowing. โ€œIโ€™ve already said this before, and I wonโ€™t repeat it. Weโ€™re just friends. Hades is the guy I love, okay?โ€

Something in Zayneโ€™s face brokeโ€”his expression twisting with anger and disbelief. His jaw clenched, his breath heavy. โ€œNo, you donโ€™t mean that,โ€ he muttered. โ€œYou canโ€™t mean thatโ€”โ€

He grabbed her wrist, trying to pull her closer.

But Bluey reacted before he could blink. She seized a handful of his hair and slammed him back against the wall, her glare burning with a fury heโ€™d never seen before.

โ€œIf you try this stunt again,โ€ she hissed, her voice low and dangerous, โ€œI will rip you apart.โ€

Zayne froze, wide-eyed. That lookโ€”cold, unflinching, lethalโ€”didnโ€™t belong to the playful, soft Bluey he knew. It was something darker, sharper. For a moment, she looked like Hades himself.

She shoved him away, hard enough that he stumbled. Then she turned and walked out without another word, her heels echoing down the hall.

Zayne slid down the wall, breathing raggedly. For a long moment, he said nothing. Then, a crooked, almost deranged chuckle escaped his lips.

โ€œF+k,โ€ he muttered, running a hand through his hair. โ€œYou make me want you even more, Bluey.โ€

Natalie stood by the grill, her damp hair sticking to her shoulders as she stuffed another bite of barbecued meat into her mouth.

Her swimsuit still glistened from the swim sheโ€™d just had with Nia and Loci, and her plate was already piled high with food.

She turned, humming lightly, ready to head back to her friends until she saw her.

Natasha.

Natalieโ€™s smile faded instantly. She rolled her eyes and tried to walk past, pretending she hadnโ€™t seen her.

โ€œAre you seriously going to ignore me?โ€ Natashaโ€™s voice carried a bite of disbelief.

Natalie turned with a half-smirk. โ€œWell, hello. Yes, I am.โ€

โ€œWow. Iโ€™m your twin sister, Natalie! You didnโ€™t even bother checking up on me after what happened with Bryan and Bluey. Your friendโ€™s boyfriend almost killed me, and you didnโ€™t even ask how I felt.โ€

Natalieโ€™s laugh came out sharp, bitter. โ€œSo you can get hurt too? Who knew?โ€ She took a step closer, eyes narrowing. โ€œIf you really think bullying others makes you look cool, then youโ€™re very stupid.โ€

โ€œNatalieโ€ฆโ€ Natashaโ€™s voice cracked a little, but Natalie didnโ€™t stop.

โ€œI honestly wouldnโ€™t have cared if he actually killed you,โ€ Natalie said coldly.

โ€œBecause you donโ€™t know when to stop. So tell me, Natashaโ€”where exactly has all that pride taken you?โ€

Natashaโ€™s gaze dropped to the sand, her voice barely a whisper.

โ€œOne of your fellow puppets is already dead,โ€ Natalie continued, unrelenting. โ€œYour ex-masterโ€™s rank dropped, and your life is a mess. Right now, you have no relevance in MIA anymore.โ€

โ€œI was only doing what I was asked to do,โ€ Natasha whispered, her voice trembling. โ€œDid you really think there was a way I could disobey Morgan and Trevor?โ€

Natalie scoffed. โ€œBut you chose to get yourself into it. You bullied people and laughed when others got hurt even without Morganโ€™s orders. You cut ties with me the second we entered MIA, all for your thirst for power.โ€

She took a breath, her tone dropping from angry to icy. โ€œNow I suggest you leave me alone, Natasha. Because right nowโ€ฆ I donโ€™t have a sister.โ€

Natalie brushed past her without another glance, leaving Natasha standing frozen in the warm night breeze.

——-

Hades sat at the table, shirtless, a half-empty bottle of water in one hand, his jaw tight and unreadable.

Hyce was sprawled lazily across from him, nursing a drink, while Sergio scrolled through his phone with that usual calm detachment.

โ€œYouโ€™ve been on your phone all day. Is there a problem?โ€ Hyce asked, tipping his glass toward Sergio.

โ€œNope.โ€ Sergio set the phone face down on the table, his tone flat.

Hades wasnโ€™t even paying attention. His phone was in his hand again screen lighting up for the fifth time in ten minutes.

Still no reply. No text. No call. Nothing. He clenched it tighter, his patience thinning by the second.

โ€œIโ€™m going to get food,โ€ Hyce said, standing. โ€œWant anything?โ€

โ€œJust a bottle of any alcohol,โ€ Sergio replied.

Hyce turned to Hades. โ€œHow about you, lover boy?โ€

โ€œIโ€™m not hungry,โ€ Hades muttered. โ€œAnd make sure you donโ€™t drink alcohol.โ€

โ€œShut up,โ€ Hyce scoffed.

โ€œYou can drink,โ€ Sergio said with a lazy smirk. โ€œIโ€™ll look after you.โ€

โ€œSee?โ€ Hyce teased, shaking his head as he walked away toward the grill.

The moment Hyce left, silence settled between them except for the soft beat of the music and the ocean breeze.

Hadesโ€™s leg bounced under the table, frustration rising in his throat.

โ€œWhere is she?โ€ he muttered, running a hand through his damp hair.

His thumb hovered over her name again, ready to call for the tenth time…

โ€œBabeeee!โ€

His head snapped up immediately.

And there she was.

Bluey stood a few steps away, waving at him with that bright, careless grin that always made his pulse skip. But this time, it wasnโ€™t her smile that hit him, it was everything else.

The red bikini clung to her like sin, water droplets tracing down the curve of her body. Her hair was wet, slicked back, skin glistening under the lights.

The thin straps barely held on to her shoulders, and his throat went dry just looking at her.

He felt his grip tighten around the bottle in his hand.

F+k.

The heat hit him all at once, rushing through his veins, straight to his gut.

She jogged over, grinning as if she hadnโ€™t just sent his entire control crashing.

โ€œDid you miss me?โ€ She teased, oblivious to the fire sheโ€™d just lit in him.

Hades leaned back in his chair, eyes darkening as they dragged down her body and back up again.

โ€œBluey….โ€ he said quietly, voice low, rough, and dangerous, โ€œ….youโ€™re gonna kill me one day.โ€

“I know, right?” She winked playfully.

Sergio glanced at them, then quickly looked away, trying to keep his cool.

Hades pulled Bluey toward him, settling her to sit on his thighs.

โ€œWhat the f+k! Why are you running around here n+ked?โ€ Hadesโ€™ voice was a mix of frustration and desire.

โ€œN+ked? Iโ€™m way more decent than most girls around,โ€ Bluey teased, grinning.

โ€œStill. This body is for my eyes only. Do you have any idea what youโ€™re feeding those boysโ€™ eyes?โ€ Hades said, his tone low and possessive.

โ€œDonโ€™t care. Iโ€™m all yours anyway.โ€ She bit her lip provocatively.

He grabbed her waist, pulling her down firmly so she sat squarely on his crotch, her back pressed against him.

He brushed her hair aside, trailing kisses along her wet back, then down her neck, whispering in her ear, โ€œI honestly feel like eating you up right now.โ€

Bluey chuckled darkly, slowly grinding against him. โ€œMe too,โ€ she murmured, then pulled away and stood.

โ€œDonโ€™t let me catch you,โ€ Hades warned.

โ€œWhat would you do?โ€ Bluey challenged, slowly caressing her chest. His eyes widened in shock as she retreated.

โ€œBluey, come here!โ€ Hades called out.

โ€œNo.โ€

โ€œStop playing with me,โ€ he demanded.

โ€œBye.โ€ She smiled and walked off.

***

Bluey was walking back to the waters to meet her friends when she accidentally bumped into someone.

โ€œSorry,โ€ she said quickly.

โ€œYou okay?โ€ Trevor asked, steadying her.

โ€œYesโ€ฆโ€ Bluey murmured, glancing around. โ€œWhereโ€™s Morgan? Arenโ€™t you two hanging out?โ€

โ€œWeโ€™re still staying away for now,โ€ Trevor replied.

โ€œOh.โ€

He folded his arms. โ€œSaw you and your boyfriend. You two look awfully sweet together. Though, honestly, he doesnโ€™t strike me as the type whoโ€™sโ€ฆ actually committed.โ€

Bluey raised a brow. โ€œYeah, I know. Boyfriend, huh?โ€

โ€œHe is your boyfriend, right?โ€ Trevor pressed.

โ€œUmโ€ฆ I love him and he loves me too,โ€ she said with a shy shrug.

โ€œDid he ask you to be his girlfriend, or are you two justโ€ฆ going with the flow?โ€

โ€œI admit he didnโ€™t ask officially,โ€ Bluey said, fidgeting with her fingers.

โ€œDoesnโ€™t matter anyway. I can see he really likes you,โ€ Trevor said.

She tilted her head. โ€œA few weeks ago, you told me to stay away from him because he was using me.โ€

โ€œAnd after he killed Bryan for hurting you, my perspective changed. Everyoneโ€™s better off staying in their own lane. Besides, Iโ€™ve got too much on my plate to start a fight with him.โ€Trevor sighed.

Bluey nodded softly.

โ€œWanna swim together? Or eat? I could go for a steakโ€ฆ just not fish or anything from the sea. Iโ€™m allergic.โ€

โ€œReally? Iโ€™m allergic to seafood too!โ€Her face lit up.

 โ€œGuess weโ€™ve got something in common.โ€

Trevor chuckled.

โ€œGreat! Then letโ€™s go,โ€ Bluey said, looping her arm around his as she pulled him toward the food booth.

Trevor couldnโ€™t help but smile as she dragged him along. This girl sure knows how to make everyone love her.

****

Hyce walked over to the grill and spotted Juniper sitting behind the booth, flipping skewers with a scowl on her face. Apparently, sheโ€™d volunteered to help out with the grills.

โ€œWhereโ€™s Gomez?โ€ Hyce asked, eyes scanning the area.

โ€œWhy are you looking for him? Arenโ€™t you with your boyfriend?โ€Juniper didnโ€™t even look up.

Hyce blinked, caught off guard by the tone. โ€œAre you okay? Since when did the two of us start having a problem? Because right now, you actually sound like youโ€™ve got one.โ€

Juniper finally met her gaze, irritation written all over her face.

โ€œYeah, I do have a problem. Do me a favor and stay far away from Gomez. Heโ€™s always all over you, and itโ€™s getting on my nerves.โ€

Hyce tilted his head, a sly smile tugging at his lips.

โ€œWhy so pissed, Juniper? Arenโ€™t you the one sleeping with him? Donโ€™t you spend most of your nights tangled up in his sheets? So  does he still moan my name when youโ€™re the one heโ€™s down with?โ€

Juniperโ€™s jaw tightened. โ€œYouโ€™re such aโ€”โ€

โ€œCareful,โ€ Hyce cut in, smirking as he leaned in just a little.

โ€œMaybe the problem isnโ€™t me. Maybe you just need to do better at keeping a guy interested. I mean, I could give you some tutorialsโ€”โ€ He lowered his voice, teasingly.

โ€œ….but my lessons are exclusive. And theyโ€™re not free.โ€

Juniperโ€™s eyes flared. โ€œYouโ€™re unbelievable.โ€

โ€œThanks, I get that a lot,โ€ Hyce said, brushing past her with a smirk. โ€œNow if youโ€™ll excuse me, Iโ€™ve got a man to go to.โ€

Hyce grabbed the plate already served on the table, his expression unreadable as he turned away from the grill.

Juniper smirked faintly behind him, eyes glinting with something that didnโ€™t look like guilt.

He walked off, eating lazily with his hand as he made his way back toward where Sergio and Hades were sitting under the tent. The laughter and chatter around the camp muffled into background noise.

Thenโ€”he stopped.

Just a few feet from them, his steps faltered. The plate slipped from his fingers, crashing to the ground with a dull thud.

โ€œHyce?โ€ Sergioโ€™s brows furrowed.

Hyce didnโ€™t answer. His knees buckled, and before anyone could react, his knees dropped to the sand.

โ€œHyce!!โ€ Sergio bolted from his seat, grabbing him before his head hit the ground. He cradled him close, eyes wide with panic.

 โ€œHyce, whatโ€™s wrong? Hey, talk to me!โ€

Hyceโ€™s skin was clammy, sweat beading down his temple. His face flushed red as his lips began to turn blue. Then came the coughing, it was violent, choking and  desperate.

โ€œWhat the fuck, call the medic!!โ€ Hades shouted, already sprinting toward the main building.

โ€œHey, stay with me! Hyce, look at me, come onโ€”heyโ€”hey!โ€Sergioโ€™s heart pounded as he shook him lightly.

But Hyceโ€™s arms went limp. His head lolled back.

Then a dark red liquid poured from his mouth, spilling down his chin.

Sergio froze.

Blood.

โ€œNo, no, no…โ€ Sergioโ€™s voice broke as tears streamed down his eyes.

He pressed Hyce against his chest, his pulse racing as he carried him, running towards the main building.

The students eyes widened in utter shock.

 โ€œWhere’s the medic… god damnit!!โ€
