โ€œJustโ€ฆ love me instead,โ€ Levi murmured lowly, his lips brushing the top of Nancyโ€™s head.

Nancy stiffened.

Slowly, she pulled away from the hug and looked up at him, confusion clouding her teary eyes.

โ€œWhat did you say?โ€ she asked softly.

Leviโ€™s expression shifted almost instantly. He looked away, jaw tightening as if heโ€™d said more than he meant to.

โ€œNothing,โ€ he replied quickly. โ€œI said you should probably get going. Yourโ€ฆ security must be looking for you.โ€

Nancy studied him for a second, as if she sensed something unspoken beneath his words. Then she nodded.

โ€œOh,โ€ she said quietly.

She turned and walked away, her steps slow but steady, disappearing toward the waiting car at the far end of the lot.

Levi stood there, watching her go.

Only when she was out of sight did he release a deep breath he hadnโ€™t realized he was holding. His chest felt tight, his thoughts loud and unfair.

Why Sky?

Shaking his head, he turned and headed for his own car, the echo of her sobs still ringing in his ears as he drove off.

The elevator chimed softly as it reached the top floor.

Yuki stepped out, heels clicking sharply against the polished marble as she made her way down the quiet corridor toward Haruโ€™s office.

The building smelled expensive, a blend of clean air and luxury perfume, but her hands were warm around the basket she carried. Neatly arranged snacks. His favorites. Things she had taken her time choosing.

She stopped at the secretary’s desk which was right outside Haru’s office.

The secretary looked up immediately and straightened.
โ€œGood day, Maโ€™am Yuki.โ€

Yuki offered a faint smile, controlled and practiced.
โ€œIs Haru busy?โ€

The secretary hesitated only for a second before replying, โ€œHe cleared all his schedules yesterday. He didnโ€™t come in today.โ€

The words landed softly, but they cut deep.

Yukiโ€™s fingers tightened around the basket handle. Her expression didnโ€™t change, but something dark flickered behind her eyes.

โ€œI see,โ€ she said calmly.

The secretary nodded politely and excused herself, disappearing down the hallway.

The moment Yuki was alone, her smile vanished.

She stared at Haruโ€™s closed office door, jaw tightening. Yesterday, he had told her he would be here. That he had meetings. That he was swamped.

A lie. A careless one.

Her breathing slowed, dangerous in its calm.

Yuki turned, walking toward the trash bin near the corner. Without hesitation, she tipped the basket over. Snacks spilled out, wrappers crinkling as they hit the bin.

She shoved the basket in after them, pushing it down hard, as if crushing the thought behind it.

Her nails dug into her palms.

โ€œHow dare you lie to me, Haru?โ€ she muttered, her voice low, venomous.

Her reflection stared back at her from the glass wall nearby.

Yuki straightened, smoothing her coat as if nothing had happened. She turned on her heel and walked back toward the elevator, every step measured.

Whatever Haru was hiding, she would find it.

And when she did, he would regret ever thinking he could deceive her.

Sky adjusted the brim of his cap one last time before stepping was sure to disguise himself properly without getting noticed.

He moved quickly, quietly, like he was afraid the moment would disappear if he hesitated.

He walked into the apartment.

โ€œEmmaโ€ฆโ€ Sky called softly.

A figure descended the stairs inside the apartment, slow and deliberate. Long hair cascading over bare shoulders. Familiar posture. Familiar scent.

It was her.
Pretty as ever.

โ€œSky,โ€ Emma pouted, her voice sweet, fragile.

She ran straight into his arms.

โ€œEmma.โ€ Sky hugged her tightly, instinctively, like his body remembered her before his mind could catch up.

His grip tightened, relief flooding him in a way he hadnโ€™t prepared for.

She pulled back first.

Both her hands came up to cup his cheeks, thumbs brushing gently under his eyes like she was checking for damage.

โ€œHow have you been, huh?โ€ Emma asked softly.

Sky swallowed. โ€œIโ€™m okay. Iโ€ฆ I was really lonely after you said you wanted to break up.โ€

Her expression faltered instantly. Hurt. Regret. Guilt perfectly placed.

โ€œI know,โ€ She whispered. โ€œI was horrible to you.โ€

Sky shook his head. โ€œYou didnโ€™t even explain. You just said you needed space and thenโ€”โ€

โ€œI was scared,โ€ Emma cut in quickly.

โ€œEverything was moving so fast. Your career, the pressure, the attention. I felt like I was losing myself.โ€ She sighed, eyes glistening. โ€œI wasnโ€™t thinking straight. I was selfish.โ€

That word landed exactly where it needed to.

โ€œEmmaโ€ฆโ€Sky softened.

โ€œI never stopped loving you,โ€ She said, stepping closer again. โ€œNot for a second. Leaving you was the biggest mistake of my life.โ€

He searched her face, desperate for truth, desperate to believe. โ€œThenโ€ฆ what about the guy you left with that day? Who is he? I wasn’t able to see what he looked like.โ€

Her lips curved faintly, dismissive.

โ€œHe was nothing. A distraction. I used him to convince myself I could move on.โ€ She shook her head. โ€œBut I couldnโ€™t. So please, forget about him. He doesnโ€™t matter.โ€

Sky hesitated, doubt flickering.

Emma noticed immediately.

She slid her arms around his neck, forehead resting against his.

โ€œYouโ€™re the only one whoโ€™s ever understood me, Sky. No one else knows me the way you do.โ€

His breath hitched.

โ€œI came back because of you,โ€ she continued softly. โ€œBecause I realized I donโ€™t want a life where youโ€™re not in it.โ€

Silence stretched between them, heavy and dangerous.

โ€œYou stillโ€ฆ love me?โ€ Sky asked quietly.

Emma smiled. Slow. Reassuring. Certain.

โ€œI never stopped.โ€

โ€œCan…I kiss you?โ€ Sky asked.

Emmaโ€™s fingers lingered on his cheeks, her thumbs brushing lightly as if she were memorizing him all over again.

She leaned in when he asked, her lashes fluttering once before she nodded.

Sky closed the distance.

The kiss was soft at first, familiar, loaded with everything heโ€™d missed. Emma melted into it easily, like sheโ€™d never left, like there had never been another man or another goodbye.

She wrapped her arms around his neck, pressing closer, deepening it just enough to make his chest tighten.

When she finally pulled back, she rested her forehead against his, breathing him in.

โ€œHope no one was bothering my baby while I was away,โ€ she said lightly, though her pout carried something sharper underneath. โ€œNo girl pestering you, right?โ€

Sky scoffed, the image of Nancy flashing uninvited into his mind. Her tears. Her voice. He brushed it away just as quickly.

โ€œItโ€™s no one,โ€ he said.

Emma tilted her head, studying his face too closely.

โ€œYou sure?โ€ she pressed, her tone sweet but insistent. โ€œCโ€™mon. Tell me if thereโ€™s anyone.โ€

He shook his head, sliding his hands to her waist, grounding himself in the present. In her.

โ€œIโ€™ll tell you later,โ€ he murmured. โ€œFirstโ€ฆ you. I really missed you.โ€

Her lips curved into a satisfied smile.

โ€œI know,โ€ Emma whispered, pulling him back into her arms.

She smirked.

Sasha froze as she stared at the god in front of her, her jaw almost dropping.

โ€œH-Hunter Dragoni?โ€ she whispered, her voice barely audible. โ€œSo that’s why your initials were HD?โ€

Hunter grinned, leaning back casually in his chair. โ€œYeah. Small world, huh? Who wouldโ€™ve thought my cousin is married to your best friend?โ€

Sasha blinked, taking him in. Up close, he was nothing like she had imagined. Strong build, sharp eyes, and that easy, confident stanceโ€”it was almost overwhelming.

She had never even seen his face before, not in photos, not in video calls. All this time, she had been talking to a stranger online, and now he was right in front of her.

โ€œIโ€ฆ I didnโ€™t know what to expect,โ€ She admitted, fiddling with the edge of her napkin. โ€œI mean, weโ€™ve been talking online for months, but Iโ€™ve neverโ€ฆ Iโ€™ve never even seen your face.โ€

Hunter leaned forward, resting his elbows on the table, a teasing glint in his eyes.

โ€œAh, so the mysterious Hunter finally reveals himself. I wanted it to beโ€ฆ real, no filters, no pictures. I was savoring this moment.โ€

Sashaโ€™s heartbeat quickened. โ€œReal, huh? I feel like I barely know you, and nowโ€ฆ wow. This isโ€ฆ a lot.โ€

He chuckled, a warm, deep laugh that made her chest flutter. โ€œI could say the same about you. Honestly, I was nervous, too. Meeting someone in person after talking onlineโ€ฆ itโ€™s a gamble.โ€

Sasha smiled nervously. โ€œWell, you passed my test. Youโ€™reโ€ฆ nothing like I imagined, you’re better.โ€

Hunter smirked, his gaze locked on hers. โ€œGood. Thatโ€™s exactly what I was going for..โ€

Sasha leaned back, taking it all in, her excitement and nerves battling inside her. โ€œSoโ€ฆ you were really not going to let me see you in photos or video calls before this?โ€

He shook his head, playful yet firm. โ€œNope. I was actually thinking of it but nah..โ€

Sasha laughed softly, shaking her head in disbelief. โ€œYouโ€™re really something, Hunter. Iโ€™ll give you that.โ€

He grinned wider. โ€œAnd you, Sashaโ€ฆ youโ€™re even more captivating than I presumed..โ€

The waiter had barely cleared their plates when Hunter leaned back, studying her like he was trying to memorize her face.

โ€œSo,โ€ he said casually, โ€œhowโ€™s school going? You always dodge that question online.โ€

Sasha sighed, then smiled. โ€œBecause itโ€™s exhausting.โ€

He laughed. โ€œFigures. Tell me anyway.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m on hospital posting now,โ€ she said, resting her chin on her hand.

โ€œLong hours. Barely any sleep. I’ll start assisting with rounds, observe tons of pregnant women and deliverie, sometimes, run errands for seniors who act like gods. Some days I feel smart, other days I feel completely useless.โ€

Hunter listened without interrupting, eyes steady on her.

โ€œBut I like it,โ€ she added softly. โ€œThe hospital feels real. Messy. Scary. But real. When patients thank you, even for something small, it reminds you why youโ€™re doing it.โ€

He smiled, slower this time. โ€œYou talk about it like you care a lot.โ€

โ€œI do,โ€ she shrugged. โ€œItโ€™s stressful, but itโ€™s where Iโ€™m meant to be.โ€

โ€œYouโ€™re impressive,โ€ he said simply.

โ€œYouโ€™re beautiful too. Even when youโ€™re complaining.โ€

Her cheeks warmed instantly. โ€œWow. You donโ€™t waste time, do you?โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t see the point in pretending,โ€ he replied. โ€œSo let me ask you something.โ€

She raised an eyebrow. โ€œThat sounds serious.โ€

Hunter leaned forward. โ€œBe my girlfriend.โ€

Sasha blinked. โ€œAlready?โ€

He smiled, completely unbothered. โ€œDo you think Iโ€™d be talking to you all this time if I didnโ€™t want to get together?โ€

She laughed softly, shaking her head. โ€œYouโ€™re bold.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m honest,โ€ he said. โ€œThereโ€™s a difference.โ€

Hunter leaned back slightly, watching her like he was amused by how much she was thinking.

โ€œSoโ€ฆโ€ Sasha started, hesitating, then shrugging lightly. โ€œDo youโ€ฆ have any plans of taking this to the next level?โ€

He raised a brow. โ€œNext level?โ€

She cleared her throat. โ€œI meanโ€” Iโ€™m not trying to impose or anything. I just thought I should ask instead of assuming.โ€

He frowned, genuinely confused now. โ€œAssuming what?โ€

โ€œThat weโ€™reโ€ฆ you know. Dating.โ€

He stared at her for a second, then let out a quiet laugh. โ€œSashaโ€ฆ arenโ€™t we already?โ€

She blinked. Once. Then twice. โ€œHuh?โ€

โ€œWhat?โ€

โ€œYou never asked.โ€

His expression shifted, half amused, half incredulous. โ€œWaitโ€” you donโ€™t know that I already consider you my girlfriend?โ€

Her lips parted slightly. โ€œYou do?โ€

โ€œOf course I do.โ€ He reached for her hand casually, thumb brushing over her knuckles. โ€œWhy else would I be here with you?โ€

She looked down at their hands, then back at him. โ€œSo this isnโ€™tโ€ฆ casual?โ€

โ€œNo,โ€ he said simply. โ€œIt hasnโ€™t been casual for a while.โ€

She exhaled slowly. โ€œYou couldโ€™ve said something.โ€

โ€œI thought it was obvious.โ€ He gave a small smirk. โ€œGuess I shouldโ€™ve checked.โ€

There was a brief silence, then she nodded. โ€œOkay. Good to know.โ€

He lifted her hand and pressed a quick, restrained kiss to her knuckles.

โ€œNow itโ€™s official,โ€ he said. โ€œHappy?โ€

She huffed softly. โ€œI think so.โ€

โ€œGood,โ€ he replied. โ€œBut just so you know, I can be really demanding.โ€

โ€œHuh?โ€

โ€œNothing.โ€He smiled.

Levi sat at the mixing console, headphones snug over his ears, scribbling down lyrics in his notebook.

The hum of the equipment filled the room, punctuated by the occasional tap of a pen against paper.

โ€œYouโ€™re in a really good mood today,โ€ Ginger said, leaning against the doorway with a sly smile.

Levi glanced up, smirking. โ€œIs it obvious?โ€

โ€œYes,โ€ she replied, raising an eyebrow. โ€œWhatโ€™s amusing you?โ€

โ€œItโ€™s nothing,โ€ Levi said, shaking his head. โ€œJust Nancy.โ€

Ginger tilted her head, curious. โ€œReally? What about her? Do youโ€ฆ like her?โ€

โ€œIs it bad if I say I do?โ€ Levi asked, a hint of vulnerability slipping through his usual calm demeanor.

โ€œOhโ€ฆ no. Not at all,โ€ Ginger said softly, stepping closer.

Levi looked at her for a long moment. โ€œGingerโ€ฆ Iโ€”โ€

โ€œWhat?โ€ she interrupted gently, holding up a hand. โ€œYou donโ€™t have to worry about me. Itโ€™s okay if you like someone else. All I ever had for you was a stupid childhood crush.โ€

Levi shook his head. โ€œYour crush on me wasnโ€™t stupid. I justโ€ฆ I canโ€™t really return it. We grew up togetherโ€”I consider you my sister.โ€

She smiled faintly, a little sad, a little relieved. โ€œItโ€™s okayโ€ฆโ€

โ€œBut right nowโ€ฆโ€ Levi hesitated, his pen tapping nervously on the notebook.

โ€œโ€ฆI donโ€™t know if I even stand a chance with Nancy. Sheโ€™s wrapped up with Sky, and that guyโ€”heโ€™s being a complete jerk.โ€

Ginger chuckled, crossing her arms. โ€œMore wars are coming between you and Sky, I can tell. Especially with Nancy in the middle.โ€

Levi sighed, leaning back in his chair. โ€œI knowโ€ฆ I justโ€ฆโ€

Levi tapped his pen against the notebook, eyes narrowing. โ€œI canโ€™t just watch her drift toward Sky. Iโ€ฆ I need to try and win her over.โ€

Ginger raised an eyebrow, leaning closer. โ€œCareful not to overdo it. You don’t want her to think you’re just doing all this cause you hate Sky.โ€

โ€œI know,โ€ Levi admitted, his jaw tightening. โ€œBut Iโ€™m not backing down. Nancyโ€ฆ she deserves someone who actually sees her. Who cares for her without having to hurt her.โ€

Ginger studied him quietly, sensing the rare intensity in his tone. โ€œAnd you think thatโ€™s you?โ€

โ€œI hope it is,โ€ He said sharply.

She smiled softly, resting a hand on his shoulder. โ€œJustโ€ฆ remember, Levi. Be patient. Donโ€™t let your rivalry with Sky blind you. Nancyโ€™s not a prize to winโ€”sheโ€™s a person. And sheโ€™ll make her choice.โ€

Levi let out a slow breath, staring at the ceiling as if trying to convince himself.

โ€œI knowโ€ฆ but every time I see her obsessing over Sky, it feels like my chance is slipping away. I canโ€™t justโ€ฆ sit there, I know I just met her, but still..โ€

Gingerโ€™s smile turned a little bittersweet.

He nodded, determination hardening in his gaze. โ€œI will win her over.โ€

[๐‘๐˜๐”๐Š๐€๐ˆ]- 8PM โ€“ Dark Room

The dimly lit room smelled faintly of smoke and alcohol. Bianca stood stiffly before Romeo, her hands clenched into fists.

โ€œOur shipmentโ€ฆ itโ€™s gone,โ€ She said, her voice tight with controlled fury. โ€œThe armory cargo ship was hijacked, and it was blown up. There are no remains of the cargo.โ€

Romeoโ€™s sharp gaze sliced through the gloom. โ€œWho was in charge?โ€

โ€œIt was Mio.โ€

Romeo didnโ€™t move. His fingers drummed lightly on the table before he said. โ€œCall her in.โ€

Bianca nodded, her jaw set, and left the room. Outside, she found Mio just about to walk past. Bianca grabbed her arm, pulling her gently but firmly back.

Mio chuckled, tilting her head. โ€œWhat is it now?โ€

Bianca didnโ€™t answer. Instead, she let the silence hang like a blade.

โ€œWhat happened to the ship?โ€ she asked finally. โ€œYou were the only one of all our men who came back alive.โ€

Mioโ€™s smile was sharp, predatory. โ€œCalm down, sweetie. I just happened to be lucky.โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t believe you,โ€ Bianca snapped, glaring.

Mio leaned in, her voice icy and venomous. โ€œDonโ€™t tell me you actually think Iโ€™m the one behind it. Thatโ€™s a heavy accusation, Bianca.โ€

โ€œI never accused you,โ€ Bianca shot back, eyes flashing. โ€œBut you said it yourselfโ€”why shouldnโ€™t I question it?โ€

Mioโ€™s glare was electric, her patience gone. โ€œJust because you fuck the boss doesnโ€™t make you high and mighty. Stay in your lane while I stay in mine, whore.โ€

With a shove, she freed her arm and stalked into the room, heels clicking ominously against the floor.

Biancaโ€™s hand slammed into the wall, the impact splitting her skin. She stared at her bleeding knuckles, teeth gritted.

โ€œThat bi+chโ€ฆโ€ she muttered, the rage burning hotter than ever.

Mio strode into Romeoโ€™s office, her boots clicking sharply against the polished floor.

โ€œBoss,โ€ she said, bowing slightly.

Romeo didnโ€™t look up immediately. His eyes were sharp, unreadable. โ€œWhat happened to the shipment you were entrusted with?โ€

โ€œThe ship was attacked,โ€ Mio said, her voice steady. โ€œI donโ€™t know if the guns were destroyed in the explosion or if the enemy managed to take them.โ€

Romeoโ€™s eyes narrowed, and his hands clenched tightly on the desk. The air in the room seemed to thicken, colder, heavier.

He leaned forward slightly, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous growl.

โ€œDo you want to die? You had one job, Mio. One job!โ€

Mio opened her mouth to defend herself, but Romeoโ€™s hand shot out, gripping her neck.

She shivered instantly under the pressure, feeling the lethal power behind his touch.

Her pulse raced, and she knew, without a doubt, that he could end her right there.

โ€œYou have twenty-four hours to find out exactly whoโ€™s behind this,โ€ He said, each word deliberate, low, deadly.

โ€œFail me, and there will be consequences you wonโ€™t survive to regret.โ€

Mioโ€™s smirk returned, sharp and controlled, hiding any trace of worry.

โ€œUnderstood,โ€ she said coolly, turning on her heel.

Her coat swished with every step as she left the office, leaving the heavy silence of Romeoโ€™s fury behind.

Romeo leaned back in his chair, eyes glinting dangerously, exhaling slowly, the room still charged with his unyielding presence.

Tiago looked at his phone and a message came in.

โ€œBoss.โ€Tiago called.

โ€œHmm.โ€

โ€œMistress met withโ€ฆ Haru.โ€Tiago said.

Romeoโ€™s fists clenched at his sides, jaw tightening.

Of all the people she could fool around with, she chose the worst of them all, he thought, the rage simmering just below the surface.

โ€œWhoโ€™s Rias?โ€ Bianca asked, walking back into the room, curiosity lacing her tone.

โ€œThe bossโ€™s wife,โ€ Tiago replied quietly, but Romeo cut him off before any further explanation.

โ€œRomeo, youโ€™re married?โ€ Biancaโ€™s voice was soft, almost disbelieving.

โ€œTiago, leave.โ€ Romeoโ€™s voice was sharp, commanding.

Tiago bowed and left without another word.

โ€œWhen did you get married? Is sheโ€ฆ living with you?โ€ Bianca asked, her voice dropping into a whisper, soft but probing.

Romeoโ€™s gaze flicked to her. โ€œCome here, Bianca.โ€

She obeyed without hesitation, moving closer.

โ€œSit.โ€ He gestured to his lap.

She perched herself carefully, her body instinctively leaning into his. The moment she did, he captured her lips in a deep, consuming kiss.

There was no tendernessโ€”just raw heat and possession. Biancaโ€™s hands wound around his neck, holding him close, pulling him in deeper.

โ€œYou donโ€™t have a problem with it, do you?โ€ Romeo murmured against her lips, his voice rough and low.

Bianca smirked, though a flicker of envy ran through her. โ€œIโ€™m kind of jealous. You probably have a new woman to satisfy you.โ€

His hands tightened around her waist. โ€œSheโ€™s just my wife, nothing more. Besides, youโ€™re the only one who can keep up with me. Sheโ€™s a kid.โ€

Biancaโ€™s lips curved into a mischievous smile, but there was a warmth in her eyesโ€”attachment, dependence, a need for him even when she didnโ€™t love him.

โ€œI can go for an hour right now,โ€ She said, deliberately slipping out of her clothes.

In seconds, they were stripped down, bodies pressed together, movements synchronized. His cold, demanding nature didnโ€™t intimidate her; it drew her in.

She nuzzled against his chest when he pulled her close, whispering and moaning, craving the heat, the possession, the intimacy only she could provide.

She was attachedโ€”tangled in his dominance, addicted to the way he claimed her completely even if her heart didnโ€™t belong to him.

And Romeo, ever the predator, reveled in the control, letting her attachment feed his own dark satisfaction, each moan and shiver a testament to the power he held over her.

[๐๐ฎ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ญ]

The private room was dimly lit, the glow from the chandelier reflecting off the polished table.

Haru and Rias sat across from each other at their VIP table, a feast of carefully plated dishes waiting untouched between them.

Haru couldnโ€™t keep his eyes off her. The red gown clung to every curve of Riasโ€™ body, the short hemline barely brushing her thighs, revealing more than it should.

The open back showed the smooth line of her spine, her heels making her legs look endless.

โ€œYouโ€™re so beautiful, Rias,โ€ he said, voice low, almost reverent.

โ€œI know,โ€ she replied with a smirk, tilting her head slightly. โ€œNo need to flatter me.โ€

Her tone was casual, but the way she leaned forward, letting her hand rest lightly on the table near his, made his pulse spike.

The faint scent of her perfume teased him, making him hyper-aware of every inch of her.

โ€œSo, Rias, Iโ€™d like to know more about you,โ€ Haru said, trying to maintain composure, but his hand twitched as he reached for a glass of wine and quickly withdrew.

โ€œFor starters,โ€ She said, letting her fingers brush the rim of her glass slowly, โ€œI’m a Gremory….Rias Gremory.โ€

โ€œGremory? As inโ€”โ€

โ€œYes,โ€ she interrupted, her voice soft but teasing.

โ€œI know our families donโ€™t get along because of your rivalry with Romeo Dragoni, butโ€ฆ it doesnโ€™t matter now, does it?โ€ She tilted her head, letting her hair fall over her shoulder as she leaned a little closer.

โ€œOh,โ€ Haru swallowed, trying not to focus on the way the low-cut back of her dress drew the eye, or how her leg crossed toward his side under the table.

โ€œAlso,โ€ She continued, tracing a finger along the edge of her plate before placing it lightly on the table near his hand.

โ€œIโ€™m a med student. Neurosurgery, to be exact.โ€

โ€œWowโ€ฆ really ambitious. I love that,โ€ Haru breathed, leaning forward despite himself, the heat rising in his chest.

Riasโ€™ eyes glinted mischievously. She leaned back just enough to let the neckline of her gown slip slightly, exposing a hint more skin of her boobs.

โ€œHow about you? I know you have a wife and a daughter.โ€

Haruโ€™s throat went dry.

โ€œY-Yukiโ€ฆ and Bella,โ€ She said softly, the corners of her lips curling.

โ€œSoโ€ฆ you knew,โ€ He said carefully, trying not to sound weak under her gaze.

Rias dragged her fingertip along the rim of her wine glass, then gave him a slow, deliberate wink.

He swallowed hard, heat rising to his ears. โ€œYou did….your homework.,โ€ He stammered.

Her voice dropped lower, almost a purr, as she leaned forward, letting her hand hover just above his wrist.

โ€œDonโ€™t tell me youโ€™re being a bad boy, Daddyโ€ฆโ€

Haruโ€™s chest tightened.

Every subtle movement she made, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, letting her knee brush against his under the table, the slow, deliberate way she spokeโ€”made him burn with heat.

Rias smiled faintly, sensing how easily she had him.

โ€œWell, a manโ€™s gotta have fun. I hope you donโ€™t have a problem with us having fun, right?โ€ Haru said, a teasing glint in his eyes.

โ€œOf course not,โ€ Rias replied casually, lips curling into a faint smile as she focused on her plate for a moment. โ€œI mean, youโ€™re hotโ€ฆ and I like hot men.โ€

Haruโ€™s gaze lingered on her, his pulse quickening. โ€œHave you dated anyone before?โ€

โ€œHmmโ€ฆ not really. No,โ€ she said, her tone light but teasing, letting the silence linger like a spark.

โ€œWhyโ€™s that? You a player?โ€ he asked, leaning a little closer, curious.

Rias smirked, putting down her fork and letting her hand brush against the edge of the table, deliberately close to his.

โ€œLetโ€™s just sayโ€ฆ no man has ever been able to capture me the way I want,โ€ she murmured.

โ€œTough woman,โ€ he muttered, swallowing hard, his eyes darkening with desire.

Without warning, Rias stood, gliding gracefully toward him. She hovered behind his chair, close enough for him to feel her warmth.

Her fingers traced teasing lines along his chest, and she leaned in, letting her lips brush lightly against his ear.

โ€œI hope Bella wonโ€™t get mad at me,โ€ she whispered, her voice low and sultry. โ€œIโ€™d like to borrow her daddyโ€ฆ for a long while.โ€

Haru stood and faced her and his hands immediately went to her waist, pulling her flush against him.

โ€œOf course she wonโ€™t,โ€ he said, his voice rough with need. โ€œI love s+ร—y, hot women.โ€

Rias tilted her head slightly, lips brushing his jaw as her fingers danced over his shoulders.

โ€œHow about your wife?โ€ She murmured, her tone teasing but sharp.

Haru swallowed hard, heat rushing to his face.

โ€œYouโ€™re hotter than her. Sheโ€™sโ€ฆ not in your league. Sheโ€™s a housewife and belongs in theโ€ฆ,โ€ He faltered, words catching as his body responded to her teasing closeness.

โ€œHmm,โ€ Rias hummed softly, savoring the effect she had on him.

He tried to kiss her but she straightened, letting just a hint of her gaze linger on him as she returned to her seat, the sway of her hips slow, deliberate.

Haruโ€™s lips parted, and he ruffled his hair.

โ€œCalm down,โ€ she said lightly, her voice teasing, almost a command. โ€œYouโ€™re in a haste. If you want to get in between these legs, youโ€™ve gotta work for it.โ€

He bit his lip, struggling to maintain composure, every nerve alight as his eyes devoured her.

She smirked, knowing perfectly well the hold she had over him, the delicious tension sparking between them, impossible to ignore.

Haru walked into the villa, shrugging off his coat. A maid greeted him at the door.

โ€œGood evening, sir,โ€ she said politely.

โ€œEvening,โ€ Haru muttered, barely acknowledging her, his mind still buzzing from the day.

He made his way upstairs to his room, expecting quiet.

As soon as he opened the door, Yuki was there, arms crossed, eyes blazing.

โ€œHey,โ€ Haru said cautiously.

โ€œWhere were you?โ€ Yuki demanded, her voice sharp, full of accusation.

โ€œAt work, where else?โ€ he replied, shrugging.

โ€œAt work? I went to your office. Your secretary said you didnโ€™t come in. You cleared your schedules,โ€ she shot back, anger simmering.

โ€œI was out. Happy now?โ€ he asked, irritation creeping into his voice.

โ€œWith who?โ€ she pressed, taking a step closer.

โ€œDo you have your nose in my business? You donโ€™t see me prying into your personal affairs!โ€ he snapped.

โ€œPersonal affairs? Haru, we are married. Iโ€™m your wife!โ€ Yukiโ€™s voice trembled with fury.

โ€œAnd what difference does it make?โ€ he said, rolling his eyes.

โ€œIs it a woman? Are you seeing another woman?โ€ she demanded, stepping forward, rage building.

โ€œSo what if Iโ€™m with another woman? Letโ€™s stop lying to ourselves and admit weโ€™re not a happily married couple,โ€ he said coldly.

โ€œHaruโ€ฆโ€ she shook her head, incredulous.

โ€œI donโ€™t love you, Yuki. You know it. I did you a favor by marrying you, nothing more. I love my daughter, not you,โ€ he said bluntly, his words cutting like knives.

Yukiโ€™s hands clenched into fists. โ€œYou think you can just say that and walk away? Iโ€™m your wife, and if thereโ€™s another woman, I will deal with her. You’re mine!โ€

Haruโ€™s patience snapped. He slapped her sharply across the face.

Before she could react further, he grabbed her hair roughly, holding her in place as his eyes burned with frustration.

โ€œYou donโ€™t own me, Yuki! Respect yourself before I kick you out, bitch!โ€

Then he shoved her away and stormed into the bathroom, slamming the door.

Yuki stood there, her cheek stinging from the slap, rage and humiliation boiling inside her. She pressed her hands to her face, trembling with fury.

โ€œYou think you can treat me like thisโ€ฆ and just walk away?!โ€ she hissed under her breath, fists trembling.

โ€œWhoever you are… I will kill you.โ€

A sleek black car skidded into the driveway, tires screeching slightly as it came to a halt. Tiago stepped out immediately, his face blank.

โ€œLet me go!!โ€ Rias screamed, struggling against his firm grip as he practically dragged her out of the car. โ€œI said let me go!!โ€

โ€œBossโ€™s orders, Mistress. Just come with me,โ€ Tiago said, his voice calm but unyielding.

Rias kicked and twisted, her heels scraping the pavement, but Tiago was relentless. Within moments, they reached the fortress doors.

She practically stumbled inside, trying to straighten her short, red gown, her chest heaving with frustration.

The moment she entered the living room, Romeoโ€™s figure came into view. His gaze fell on her, cold, unreadable, and Rias instinctively straightened her back, trying to regain her composure.

Tiago stepped back.

โ€œIโ€™ll leave you two, Mistress,โ€ He said, bowing slightly before retreating.

Rias crossed her arms, her voice sharp. โ€œWhatโ€™s the meaning of this? Why send your men to drag me home like some common criminal? That was humiliating!โ€

Romeoโ€™s eyes narrowed, a low, dangerous scoff playing at the corner of his lips.

โ€œTo my room, kiddo,โ€ he said coolly, stepping aside just enough to let her pass.

โ€œLike Iโ€™d ever listen to you,โ€ Rias shot back, trying to sound defiant, though her heart raced.

His gaze dropped fully onto her then, that cold, piercing glare that made her shiver despite herself.

Every inch of her wanted to turn away, but she couldnโ€™t.

โ€œGo to my room right now,โ€ he said, his voice low, deadly, leaving no room for argument.

Rias exhaled sharply, rolling her eyes.

She spun on her heel and began walking up the grand staircase, each step heavy with both frustration and the strange, thrilling tension that clung to his words.

Romeo entered the room and shut the door behind him.

The sound echoed.

Rias stood near the wall, her arms crossed loosely, her posture defiant even as her fingers trembled at her sides. She refused to show it.

His room felt wrong. Too dark. Too quiet. The walls seemed to close in, the air heavy with something she couldnโ€™t name.

โ€œWhat do you want?โ€ she asked, lifting her chin.

Romeo didnโ€™t answer immediately. He walked further in, slow, deliberate, like a predator circling prey.

โ€œWhere were you?โ€ he asked.

โ€œAs if Iโ€™dโ€”โ€

โ€œDo not,โ€ He cut in sharply, his voice dropping, โ€œ….make me lose it, Rias.โ€

That did it.

She froze.

She knew it then. He wasnโ€™t joking.

โ€œI was on a date,โ€ She said, forcing the words out. โ€œI believe Iโ€™m entitled to that.โ€

His jaw tightened.

โ€œWhat rules did I make in this house?โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t give a damn aboutโ€”โ€

He moved in a blink.

His fist slammed into the wall behind her head with a brutal crack. The shelf rattled. Rias gasped despite herself, her body flinching before she could stop it.

Her back hit the wall, breath leaving her lungs.

โ€œWhat rules,โ€ He snarled, his face inches from hers now, eyes dark and furious, โ€œ…did I fucking give you in this house?โ€

โ€œIโ€ฆโ€ Her throat tightened. โ€œโ€ฆIโ€”โ€

โ€œYou disobeyed me,โ€ He said coldly. โ€œYou stayed past curfew. And worst of all, you went on a date with that bastard Haru.โ€

His voice rose, sharp with rage.
โ€œOf all the idiots in Tokyo, you choose to fool around with my enemy?!โ€

โ€œWhy are you yelling at me?โ€ she shot back, even as her hands shook. โ€œHeโ€™s your enemy, not mine!โ€

He laughed once, humorless.

โ€œDo you know why I told you to stay away from people I donโ€™t approve of?โ€

โ€œRomeoโ€ฆ stop,โ€ She whispered, her bravado cracking. โ€œYouโ€™re scaring meโ€ฆโ€

โ€œOh?โ€ he said quietly. โ€œYou can get scared?โ€

He stepped back, just one step, but it felt worse than when he was close.

โ€œOnce Iโ€™m done with this,โ€ he said, voice dangerously calm, โ€œ…you wonโ€™t even think about disobeying me again.โ€

Her eyes widened.

โ€œAre you going to hurt me?โ€ she asked softly.

For the first time, the fear was real. Naked and Unfiltered fear.

Romeo didnโ€™t answer.

Instead, his hand went to his waist.

The metallic sound of his belt loosening filled the room.

Riasโ€™s breath hitched.

He looked at her then, really looked at her, his expression unreadable, controlled, terrifyingly calm.

โ€œRomeoโ€ฆ what are you doing?โ€ she whispered, her voice trembling despite her effort to sound defiant.

He grabbed her hand, tugging her roughly so she couldnโ€™t escape.

Before she could react, he tossed her fully onto the bed, her back landing hard against the mattress.

โ€œRomeoโ€ฆโ€ she gasped, panic rising in her throat.

He held the belt in his hand, his other hand holding the waist of his pants to avoid it falling, eyes dark and cold.

Rias swallowed, that gesture right there looks insanely hot on him.

She shook her head. Is she seriously checking him out? No.

โ€œNow, which would it be, Rias? How would you like to get punished?โ€ He asked, his voice low.

โ€œWhat do you mean?โ€ She stammered, her heart racing.

Her gown had shifted during the struggle, leaving her feeling vulnerable and her underwear exposed.

She tried to adjust it and his dark gaze fell on her hand, she quickly took her hands away.

โ€œWould you want this belt on your bare ass? Or my cock buried deep inside you?โ€ He said, letting the threat hang in the air.

Riasโ€™s stomach churned.

Is this guy for real? He’s really… asking her that?

Beltโ€ฆ the pain would be sharp, burning, humiliating. Butโ€ฆ the other optionโ€ฆ oh God, thatโ€™s something else entirely. I canโ€™tโ€ฆ I canโ€™t even think about it.

The thought that both his options requires her exposing her body to him is making her sick and hot at the same time.

Rias, what are you thinking?

Her mind spun with fear and indecision.

โ€œYouโ€™re crazy!โ€ She cried, tears forming at the edges of her eyes. Fake tears.

โ€œOh yes, Iโ€™m crazy.โ€ He said with a low, dangerous smile. โ€œYou better start talking. Donโ€™t waste my time, and those fake tears of yours, it’s irritating me.โ€

Her body shook. Heโ€™s hell-bent on punishing her. Rias swallowed hard, her throat dry.

Every muscle in her body wanted to curl up and disappear, but she couldnโ€™t move.

Herr eyes moved to the belt in his hand and then his hand on the waist of his pants.

God-damnit. This guy….!!

He walked closer till he stood at the foot of the bed, his eyes dragging down her exposed body, he smirked.

โ€œStop itโ€ฆ pleaseโ€ฆ how long are you going to keep this up?โ€She demanded.

โ€œThat..,โ€ He said, his voice dropping even lower, almost a growl.

โ€œโ€ฆdepends on how quickly you learn, kiddo.โ€
