What was that feeling?.
Was that what they called jealousy? .
But why would he be jealous?.
She was just his f+king assistant and the woman he had hurt.
There’s was no reason for him to feel that way.
And yet, why did he feel like killing his friend?.
Just watching his hand on the small of her back pissed him off so much…
This was his f+king engagement day, but his attention was only on her..not his future fiancée.
The way her bold red lips wrapped around the wine glass made her look so fucking se+y;
He wished he could be that wine glass.
The way her long nails traced her neck as she massaged it made him wish it was his hands around her throat..doing the unspeakable to her.
His gaze drifted down to her a$s, and he grew hard…
That f+king dress made her look s+xy and dangerous at the same time.
Red was his favorite color, and the way the dress hugged her curves was torture.
Her round, firm a$s right there in front of him made his palms itch with the urge to spank it.
F+k it’s been long since he has done that.
Suddenly, the tie around his neck felt suffocating.
His gaze on her was cold, intense, and filled with nothing but lust and desire…
What was she doing?.
Had she worn that f+king dress to taunt him?.
What exactly was her intention? .
He couldn’t figure it out.
His eyes moved lower, fixating on her cleavage.
That dress showed off her round br+sts perfectly.
How would it feel to grab them, to…
“Charlie, you okay?” Fatima’s voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
He tore his gaze away from Annabella and looked at his future fiancée, who was smiling sweetly at him.
Guilt stabbed at him for thinking about another woman while she sat beside him.
F+k Annabella Evans for making him feel like this…
“You okay?” Fatima asked again, noticing how distant he seemed.
He was lost in his thoughts once more.
“I need to use the bathroom. I’ll be back,” he muttered, kissing her forehead before slipping away.
As he left the ballroom and headed to his room, he loosened his tie while pulling out his phone.
The dark room welcomed him as he stepped inside.
His shoes echoed against the floor until he dropped onto the couch in the corner.
His eyes fell to her picture glowing on his phone screen.
The image stared back at him, taunting him, and he groaned.
What the hell was this feeling? .
Was it just lust, love,or something darker? .
This overpowering need to have her, to own her, to worship her, to make her smile, to be everything she needed…
Where was it coming from? .
He had sworn never to get involved with any of his employees.
He had sworn that he will forget about her.
The time they spend together in Paris was enough to get her of his mind right?.
But whatever this was, it was forbidden to him.
And still, his desire for her burned stronger than ever.
Her brown eyes, sparkling whenever she smiled, haunted him.
That sweet, melodic giggle she let out when he teased her echoed in his head.
And that smile…goddamn, that fucking smile..only made things worse.
He wanted to flip his entire world upside down just to see it every day.
He had hurt her, he knew that.
She would never take him back no matter what but still he..
“F+k,” he hissed, groaning as he pressed her number.
After two minutes, she finally picked up.
“Mr. Kings,” her sweet voice purred through the phone.
He couldn’t stop the smile tugging at his lips.
Clearing his throat, he forced his voice steady.
“Come to my room. I want you to sign some papers.” His tone came out more commanding than he had intended.
“The last time I checked, today is my day off, Mr. Kings,” she answered, her daring tone sending heat straight to his gut.
He smirked in amusement.
“You have two minutes, Ms Evans,” he ordered boldly, then hung up.
Leaning back against the couch, he closed his eyes, his long legs stretched out and crossed in front of him.
He toyed with the phone in his hand, frustration gnawing at him by the second.
Where was she? .
Was she really going to disobey him?
“F+k,” he cursed, raking a hand through his hair, tension etched into his features.
She was driving him insane..with her pretty face and her hot-as-f+k body.

Downstairs, Ana glanced at her phone and shook her head.
What did he want now?.
For f+k’s sake, she was trying to relax and forget about him.
But of course, he had to call, demanding to see her.
Just the sound of his voice stirred all the dirty thoughts she’d been trying to suppress.
All the anger she had, vanished.
She looked over at Ryan, who smiled at her.
She smiled back before speaking.
“I need to use the bathroom. I’ll be right back,” she said.
though even she wasn’t sure why she lied.
“Okay,” Ryan replied and kissed her forehead.
That caught her by surprise.
She hadn’t expected that from him.
She gave him a quick smile before turning around.
The sound of her heels echoed as she walked, catching the attention of people nearby.
Some stared in admiration, some were clearly drooling.
Ana smiled politely at those who met her gaze.
Across the room, Fatima and Samantha watched her with eyes full of jealousy and hatred.
“Ugh, I hate that bi+ch,” Fatima muttered, voice low and bitter.
“She thinks she’s all that,” Sam added, equally annoyed.
“Of course she is,” said another voice.
Their heads turned sharply. It was Joyce, standing beside Juliet, both with arms crossed.
“Juliet?” Fatima gasped, shocked to see her.
She had no idea Juliet was back.
Juliet smirked.
Still the same bitter girls, she thought.
They used to be best friends, but people grow
and change.
And yes, she’d made her share of mistakes.
“So it’s true. You’re back,” Samantha said, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
“Yes, I’m here. Did you miss me?” Juliet replied.
“I thought I should come congratulate my ex-best friend and my ex-boyfriend.”
She glanced at Joyce, who was silently staring down Fatima.
“The audacity. How can you show up here after everything you did, you bi+ch?” Sam snapped in a low hiss.
Juliet rolled her eyes and casually tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, revealing a sparkling ring on her finger.
Fatima clenched her fists when she saw it.
Joyce raised an eyebrow, then rolled her eyes.
So she came to show off.
What a twisted, useless bitch.
“You’re married? Who did you marry this time?” Samantha sneered.
“That’s none of your business,” Juliet said coolly.

Ana pushed Mr. King’s bedroom door slowly.
Her heart was beating faster.
She couldn’t understand why she had obeyed him and come.
She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down.
The room was so dark that she couldn’t see anything.
But his presence filled the room ..she could feel it.
What was he trying to do?
Calling her to come into a dark room was…
“Oh… God,” she gasped, feeling his hands slipped around her waist.
He was behind her, his warm breath fanning her neck.
She closed her eyes, her breath shallow.
Her body was already responding to him, and she hated it.
“You smell like a fucking sin,” Mr. King whispered against her ear.
His hands trailed down her thighs as he pushed her dress up.
“What… what are you doing?” Ana’s voice came out lower.
“Touching my woman,” Mr. King responded, his hand moving closer to her underwear…
Ana breathed out.
She was supposed to push him.
Her mind screamed to stop him, to pull away…
But her body leaned into him instead, betraying her.
“Oh… just..just…” she breathed out, gripping the fabric of her dress tightly as his fingers grazed her most sensitive spot.
“No, Ana… you have to stop this,” she told herself silently, trembling.
Suddenly, Mr. Kings spun her around.
The lights flickered on .
Their eyes met.
And she froze.
His gaze was dark. Intense.
Laced with hunger, possession… and something carnal that made her knees weak.
“What are you doing?” she asked, her voice hoarse, barely audible.
He didn’t answer.
Instead, he crushed his lips against hers hard, demanding.
She didn’t respond at first…
But when his tongue slid over hers, and his teeth grazed her lip ,she moaned.
And kissed him back.
Then she…”Stop it,” she said, moving back from him.
“What do you think you’re doing? You’re getting married tomorrow..and here you are, trying to touch me like this? What is wrong with you?”
“It’s because I can’t…” he started.
“No. Don’t. I can’t keep doing this with you, Charlie!” Her voice cracked as frustration poured out.
“You’re going to marry someone else…someone you supposedly care about
and yet here you are, kissing me, touching me, saying all this nonsense like it means something!”
She raked her hands through her hair, clearly overwhelmed.
“It pisses me off!” she snapped.
“You say you care, but you’re the one who’s getting married. You’re putting a ring on someone else’s finger, and I’m the one who’s left to deal with all this confusion.”
“I don’t understand you anymore,” she continued, her voice trembling.
“You say things and then do the opposite. You play with my head, with my heart. And you’re hurting me, Charlie. You’re really hurting me.”
Mr. Kings stepped closer again,.
His hand reaching for her, but she jerked away.
“Don’t…don’t touch me,” she said, her voice fragile but firm.
“You have no right to touch me. You called me here to sign the papers. Where are they? Give me the f+king papers so I can leave.”
She stormed to the door, yanking at the handle.
“Why is the door locked? What kind of madman locks someone in?”
“Because I don’t want to see you walk away from me!” he shouted.
She froze.
“What?”
“I don’t want to see you with Ryan anymore. I’m f+king pissed, Ana. Watching him put his hands on you…I can’t take it.”
“And what are you going to do about it, huh?!” she fired back.
“You kissed Fatima right in front of me. You whispered to her. You touched her. And I stood there. I stood there like a fool and watched.”
“You don’t get to be jealous. Not anymore.”
He clenched his jaw, frustration radiating off him.
“I can’t help it. I lose my f+kin mind when I see him near you.”
“And I lose mine every time I remember you’re marrying someone else.”
Silence. Tension.
She stepped closer, her eyes blazing.
“F+k you, Charlie. You’re stupid enough to say this bullshit..and even more stupid for thinking I’d fall for it again.”
Mr. Kings smirked clearly amused.
“You think I’m stupid?” he said, stepping closer to her.
Ana stared at him, anger flaring in her chest..
But her body betrayed her with every second.
She wanted to storm out, but her legs felt heavy.
“Yes, you are. You’re stupid and selfish. Now open the f+king door before you piss me off even more!” she snapped, her voice raised.
Mr. Kings stared at her for a long beat.
Then suddenly, his hand went to her neck, pulling her close.
Ana gasped. “Why? Why should I open that door, Ana?” he whispered against her skin, voice dark, obsessed.
His nose brushed along her neck, sending a jolt of heat down her spine, straight to her already aching core.
“Stop it,” she whispered, barely holding herself together.
“No. I’m not letting you leave until you tell me you’re mine,” he growled.
“Or are you just trying to f+k someone else to get me out of your head? Is that it?”
He grabbed her ass roughly, pulling her tighter.
A m0an slipped from Ana’s lips before she could stop it.
“Charlie, stop… please…” she said weakly.
“Oh? Are you begging me to stop touching you? Is that really what you want, Ana?” he murmured, his lips brushing against her ear.
She closed her eyes briefly, trembling as her nipples pressed hard against his chest.
Her body was betraying her again, and she hated it.
“Why are you doing this to me?” she whispered, breath shaky.
“Because I love you,” Mr. King said, voice hoarse.
Ana froze. Her eyes flew open.
“You… love me?” she whispered.
“Yes. I do.”
“Then why are you marrying her?” she asked, heart breaking all over again.
“Why are you hurting me like this? You say you love me and yet…”
“I don’t love Fatima. Just because I’m marrying her doesn’t mean I feel anything for her,” he said, voice rough, as his lips ravaged her neck again.
Ana shuddered.
She was angry…
Furious.
But her body was melting at his touch, .
No matter how much she wanted to fight it.
Then, suddenly..
BANG! BANG! BANG!
The door was pounded from outside.
“Charlie! Open the door!” a voice screamed.
Ana froze.
Her stomach twisted.
It was Samantha.
“F+k,” Mr. Kings hissed, releasing her.
“Sam? What the hell is she doing here?”
Ana stepped back, her breathing ragged.
She smoothed her dress, tried to fix herself.
Then she looked at him.
“Give me the keys.”
“I don’t know where they are,” he muttered.
BANG!
“Charlie! Open the f+king door! What’s wrong with you?! The engagement’s starting!” Samantha shouted again.
Ana looked at him, voice low now.
“Your sister is here. Open the door. Please.”
He smirked, slow and dark, then reached into his pocket and pulled out the keys.
He unlocked the door and stepped aside.
Ana took a breath, straightened up, and walked out.
And there standing arms crossed, brows furrowed was Samantha.
Her eyes immediately narrowed.
“You bi+ch! What are you doing in his room?!”
Samantha snarled, her voice echoing down the hallway.
“Enough with the insults, Samantha. Why are you calling me a bi+ch?” she asked calmly, standing her ground.
“Are you not? That man is getting married tonight, and here you are, shamelessly throwing yourself at him. Are you not embarrassed?”
Ana’s expression didn’t flinch.
She crossed her arms.
“Look, Sam, I’m not in the mood for whatever mess you’re trying to start. If you’re so curious, go ask your brother why he called me here.Don’t come at me like some madwoman.”
She tried to walk past, but Samantha grabbed her arm, yanking her to a stop.
“Where do you think you’re going?” Samantha hissed.
Ana stared down at Samantha’s hand, then slowly lifted her eyes to meet hers.
“Let go of my hand.”Her voice was low and cold.
“Not until you answer me,…what were you doing in Charlie’s room?” Samantha repeated, tightening her grip.
That was the last straw.
Without warning, .
Ana raised her hand and slapped Samantha across the cheek hard.
Samantha gasped, completely stunned.
Her hand released Ana’s arm instinctively.
“You bitch!” she screamed, raising her own hand to retaliate.
But Anna was faster.
She caught Samantha’s wrist mid-air and delivered another slap..and another…then another.
The sharp sound of skin meeting skin filled the hallway.
Samantha staggered back, dazed, almost falling.
“Don’t you ever try to touch me like that again, Samantha. Ever.” she growled, breathing hard.
“You and your brother are both insane. Stay out of my business.”
