The next morning, Anna slowly opened her eyes.

Her body ached deliciously from everything that had happened the night before.

A small smile curved her lips.

She stretched, then pushed the blanket off herself and sat up.

Looking around the room, it hit her, this wasn’t her place.

She was in a hotel room.

She giggled quietly at the realization, her cheeks flushing with memories.

Just then, the door opened, and Mr Kings walked in already dressed in sleek black trousers and a crisp white shirt, the top three buttons undone casually.

Anna blushed instantly, looking down as she grabbed the blanket and pulled it over her chest to cover herself.

Mr. Kings chuckled, standing by the door with one hand in his pocket.

“Looks like someone’s come back from the dead,” he teased, a lazy smirk on his face.

Anna rolled her eyes, but her smile betrayed her embarrassment.

He stepped forward, then paused before walking over and gently tugging the blanket from her hands, tossing it back onto the bed.

“Did you sleep well?” he asked, his voice lower now.

She looked down shyly, unable to meet his eyes as flashes of last night filled her mind, her moans, the way she’d begged him, the wild look in her own eyes.

Mr. Kings reached for her chin and lifted her face.

“Are you shy now, Ms. Evans?” he teased gently.

“No… I just…” She bit her lip.

“I think I was a little crazy last night.”

“A little?” he grinned.

“You were absolutely wild, and I loved every second of it.”

She covered her face with her hands, groaning. “Oh my God.”

He laughed and sat beside her, brushing a strand of hair from her cheek.

“Don’t worry, baby. You were perfect.”

She peeked at him through her fingers.

“Aren’t you supposed to be somewhere? You look like you’re dressed for a meeting.”

“I do have to leave soon,” he nodded.

“But do you remember what you promised me before the event?”

Anna blinked. “Promise?”

“You said if I won, you’d give me a surprise.” He raised a brow.

“You haven’t forgotten. Have you?”

She giggled and shook her head. “No, I haven’t forgotten.”

He leaned closer, his voice dropping. “So, where’s my surprise?”

She stared at him, her eyes warm. “First, did I tell you I love you this morning?”

Mr. King paused, then smiled. “No. You didn’t.”

She leaned in and whispered softly, “I love you,. Very much. And thank you… for last night.”

His eyes softened as he looked at her. “Anything for you, sweetheart.”

Then, with a playful grin, he stood up and headed for the bathroom.

“Don’t go anywhere. I still want that surprise.”

Anna blushed again, the butterflies in her stomach fluttering wildly as she watched him disappear behind the door, .

The bathroom door clicked shut behind him,.

Anna stood slowly and wrapped the sheet around herself.

Her eyes scanned the room until they landed on his suit jacket draped over a chair.

She smiled softly, an idea forming in her mind.

She tiptoed to her handbag, pulled out her phone, and opened the gallery.

There it was, a picture she’d secretly taken of them, blurry but full of feeling.

She selected it and added a note in the text overlay:

“I loved you before I even realized it. Congratulations, Mr. CEO.”

Then, she sent it to his phone.

She quickly, took out a small black gift box she had packed but wasn’t sure when to give.

Inside was a sleek silver tie clip, engraved with tiny initials: D&Aon one side and “My calm in the storm”on the other.

She placed the box on the bed, then walked over to the window where soft morning light poured in.

When Mr. Kings finally walked out, towel-drying his hair, he froze.

Ana stood by the window, still wrapped in white sheets, her hair a little messy,.

“Good morning again,” she said.

He noticed the box on the bed and raised a brow.

“What’s this?”

“Open it,” she said softly.

He picked up the box, flipped it open, and stared at the tie clip.

His expression shifted surprised, touched.

Ana smiled. “So when you’re standing in front of all those cameras and people… maybe this small thing will remind you someone’s proud of you. And someone’s always cheering for you, even quietly.”

Mr. King looked up at her, speechless for a second.

Then he walked over and pulled her close, his hands warm on her back.

“You’re full of surprises, aren’t you?”

She grinned. “Only for you.”

“I love you,” Mr. King said as he kissed her.

Ana smiled against his lips.

“And I love you too, “she replied, looking up at him with a soft smile on her face.

Mr. Kings’s heart warmed.

“This… this means a lot to me, Anna. No one has ever done something like this for me. Given me a gift like that, so small, yet so special. I’m forever grateful for this, baby doll.”

Anna smiled sweetly.
“Well, if I had all the money in the world, I’d buy you anything. Everything you want.”
She paused, teasing,

“Oh, and since you like spoiling me with all those dresses, sometimes I really wonder what’s going through your head.”

Mr Kings chuckled

“Anyway… I want to go bathe now. Since you already showered, it’s my turn.”

Mr. Kings nodded, a grin playing on his lips.

“Should I come bathe with you?”

Anna quickly shook her head, biting her lip.

“No sir…?”

Her cheeks flushed as the memory them fucking in the shower filled her head.

The way he touched her and flipped her inside the damn shower, she can’t even recall how many times she had cum in there.

Mr. Kings smirked as he look at her flushed face.

“Well, I have a meeting with a special client, so I’ll take you home first, Alexa is there. I’m not sure what time I’ll be done.”

“Wait, am I not supposed to come with you today?”Anna asked, frowning slightly.

“No, today’s your day to rest,”he said, stepping closer to her.

“You will get back to work when we return to New York.”

Ana nodded, and kissed his cheek.

“Thank you. I really do need rest. You wore me out last night. I don’t think I can even walk straight, let alone work.”

She said, teasing him with a playful smile.

Mr. King chuckled.

“You were the one begging me, baby doll asking me to fuck you all night. So technically… not my fault.”

Anna rolled her eyes, cheeks blushing as she turned toward the bathroom.

“Well, don’t act innocent, Mr. King. You were the one saying I was your downfall, No more touching now…”

She threw a cheeky smile over her shoulder before disappearing behind the bathroom door.

Mr. Kings exhaled slowly, adjusting the cuffs of his shirt as he stared at the closed door.

“God, that woman will ruin me…”he muttered, a grin tugging at the corner of his lips.

He checked his watch, then picked up his phone and sent a quick message to his driver.

A few minutes later,..

Anna walked out of the bathroom in a white towel wrapped around her,.

Her damp hair falling in waves over her shoulders.

Her skin was glowing.

Mr. King’s eyes darkened instantly.

“I thought you said I couldn’t touch?” he teased, watching her strut to the vanity.

“You still can’t. I just needed to remind you of what you’re missing while you’re out there in that boring meeting,” she said with a smirk, applying a soft gloss to her lips.

Mr. King walked behind her, slipping his arms around her waist and whispering into her neck,

“You keep teasing me like this and I might cancel that meeting altogether.”

Anna shivered slightly, her body responding to his touch.

“No, be good,” she said softly, turning in his arms and pecking his lips.

“Handle your business. I’ll be … waiting.”

He smiled, kissing her forehead.

“When I get back, I’m locking that door. No interruptions. Just you and me.”

Ana grinned.

“I’ll be ready.”

✨At Mr Kings’s House ✨

____________

“Why did you guys disappear last night?” Alexa asked as she sipped her juice, a teasing smile tugging at her lips.

She leaned back on the couch, eyes still on the TV show playing.

“Well, we went somewhere… to a hotel,”Anna replied casually.

Alexa raised an eyebrow.
” Hotel? Why? I thought you were coming home. You see, I left after Ryan questioned me. I didn’t know how to answer him, but he saw right through you guys.”

Anna blinked, curious.
“What do you mean?”

“He was like, ‘Do you think Charlie is involved with Anna?’ And honestly, I didn’t know what to say,”Alexa said.

Ana’s eyes widened.

“What? Ryan asked that?”

Alexa nodded.

“Yep. I think he suspects something—or at least saw something. Ryan knows Charlie well. Maybe it was the way he looked at you while you were talking. It gave something away.”

Ana bit her bottom lip and took a sip of her juice.

“I don’t know… but I’m sure Ryan won’t expose me.”

Alexa tilted her head.

“Are you scared of being exposed?”

Anna sighed, shaking her head slowly.

“I don’t know… I’m just worried. If our relationship becomes public, it could ruin everything. It’s against the company policy. And people will talk… they’ll say all sorts of things.”

Alexa reached over and held her hand.

“Well, when you love someone, you have to be ready to risk it all. Whether people shame you or say nasty things, that’s part of love. There’s no way to love someone deeply and not face problems. All real love stories go through storms. It’s about how strong you both are to face them together.”

Ana nodded, her expression softening.

“Yeah, I know… but I’m just scared. I mean, I’ll be fine, I can take the pressure. But what about him? How will he feel when the rumors start? What if it affects his position or reputation? I just…..”
She trailed off, visibly stressed.

Alexa squeezed her hand.

“That man adores you. If he’s serious, he’ll fight for you. Just trust that.”

*****

After Alexa left, Anna checked the time.

It was already 8:30 at night.

Her fingers lingered on Mr. King’s contact, wondering whether she should call him or not wondering where he was.

She was worried.

He had left in the morning without saying what time he’d return.

She sighed and picked up the milkshake that had been sitting on the table in front of the couch.

As she started sipping and watching TV, her mind kept drifting back to the same question.

“Where is he?” she asked herself quietly, but no one was there to answer.

“Why would he just leave without telling me when he’s coming back? Gosh, Charlie, you’re stressing me,”she muttered and sighed again, feeling so alone in his house.

Her heart was heavy with worry.

She rubbed her forehead and leaned her head back on the couch, eyes on the screen but mind completely elsewhere.

**

Outside, Mr. Kings parked his car in the garage, his phone pressed to his ear.

“Is everything going well that side ”he said on the phone.

“Well, everything’s good,” Alison replied from the other end.

“When are you coming?” he added.

Mr. Kings shrugged as he stepped out of the car and closed the door.

“I don’t know,” he replied.

“But the event is over”

“Then what’s stopping you from coming back if it’s over?”Alison asked curiously.

He slumped against the door and pressed the keypad before it slid open.

“I’ve got other business to handle. Maybe I’ll come next week,”he said as he walked into the living room.

There, he saw Anna, curled up on the couch, her head resting against the cushion, eyes closed.

She wore a silky white soft shorts and a top that hugged her figure perfectly.

The light from the TV flickered against her peaceful face.

“I’ll call you back tomorrow,”he said quickly and ended the call.

He placed his suit jacket on the couch, walked over to her quietly, and bent down to kiss her lips.

Ana stirred, opening her eyes slowly.

But instead of smiling, she moved away with a small frown on her face.

“Did you not miss me?” Mr. Kings asked gently.

Ana’s expression turned sharp.

She sat up with her arms crossed.

“You didn’t even call,” she said, voice laced with frustration.

“I was worried. I stayed here all day wondering where you were.”

Mr. King just looked at her, a smirk tugging at his lips.

She looked so damn cute when she was angry.

“Well, I’m here now, baby doll,”he said softly.

“You don’t have to be upset. I’m sorry. The meeting kept me busier than I expected, and I couldn’t even touch my phone.”

He sat down beside her, eyes drawn to her pouting lips.

“I’m so angry with you,”Ana muttered, still avoiding his gaze.

“It was so boring, just spending the whole day without seeing you. You left early, didn’t call, didn’t text, and you come back this late?”

Mr. King reached out, placing his hand gently on her thigh.

Then, with a smooth motion, he pulled her onto his lap.

Anna gasped softly as she landed on Mr. Kings’s lap, straddling him.

His hands gripped her waist firmly, pulling her closer until their bodies were pressed together.

“You’re mad at me, huh?”he whispered, his voice low and husky against her ear.

“Then punish me, baby doll.”

She shivered at his words, her anger slowly melting into something hotter.

Her hands rested on his chest, but her gaze stayed locked on his.

“You think you can disappear all day, come back, and just kiss me like nothing happened?”she challenged.

“No,” he murmured, leaning closer,

“I think I should make it up to you. slowly, deeply… over and over.”

His lips captured hers, this time deeper, needier.

She moaned into the kiss, her fingers tangling into his hair.

His hands slid up under her silk top, brushing against her soft skin, making her gasp.

“You’re not wearing a bra,”he growled, his thumbs teasing her nipples.

“I didn’t think I needed one,” she whispered, biting her lip, her hips already grinding slowly on him.

“You don’t. Not around me.”

He stood up suddenly, holding her in his arms.

She yelped, laughing, wrapping her legs around his waist.

He carried her down the hallway, kicking open the bedroom door.

“I missed you too, you know,”he murmured as he laid her gently on the bed.

“Now let me show you just how much.”

His mouth followed the path of his hands, kissing down her neck, her collarbone, then lower, slow, deliberate, worshipping.

Anna arched her back, breathless, already trembling under his touch.

“Charlie…”she moaned.

“Say it again,”he said against her skin.

“Charlie…”

“Louder, baby.”

Her voice rose with every stroke, every kiss, every tease of his tongue.

Until all that filled the room were her moans… and his name.

*****

11.30 At Night

Ana looked at herself on the mirror.

The red dress clings to her body perfectly, covering just enough, yet suiting every curve so beautifully.

She looks nice.

No..she looks stunning.

She slips on her black heels just as Mr. King walks into the room.

He comes up behind her, placing his hand on her waist, his head resting gently on the nape of her neck.

“You look pretty,” he murmurs, his voice low.

His other hand trails slowly down over her ass.

She smiles, looking at him over her shoulder.

He was already dressed in a dark suit, looking as irresistible as ever.

“Where are you taking me?” she asked, her tone teasing.

“Somewhere,” he replied vaguely.

“Just going to take a walk around the city .”

“Dressed up fancy like this?” she raised an eyebrow.

Mr. King smirked. “Did you want to dress up and get, drunk baby doll?”

She caught his eyes in the mirror..those playful, smiling eyes.

She rolled her eyes.

“You love rolling your eyes at you, don’t you?” Mr kings asked and spanked her ass

“Because you make me do that “

She turned to face him, her hands sliding up around his neck.

“Tell me where we’re going.”

His hand pressed gently against her waist, the other brushing her back.

“We’re just going to take a walk. Somewhere quiet.”

Anna smiled and nodded. “Okay then. Let’s go. I don’t think you’ll let me sleep tonight anyway,” she teased.

“Are you tired already?” Mr. King asked.

“No, I’m not,” she said with a grin.

They stepped out of the room and left the house.

Mr. Kings opened the car door for her, and she slid in.

He got in beside her and started driving.

His hand found her thigh, resting there as if it belonged.

Anna kept glancing at him with a soft smile.

Then she pulled out her phone and took a quick photo of him, catching him off guard.

Mr. King looked over, raising an eyebrow.

“What are you gonna do with that pic?”

Anna smirked. “Why should I tell you? I’m just keeping it for myself.”

“And where did you get that other one you sent me?” he asked, narrowing his eyes.

“That’s a secret,” she said with a playful wink.

“One you’re not supposed to know.”

******

Mr. Kings held her hand tightly made Anna feel warm all over.

They walked slowly, step by step, toward the illuminated Eiffel Tower, its golden lights sparkling against the dark sky like stars that had fallen just for them.

The streets of Paris around them were quiet, peaceful, almost like the city was watching them in silence, holding its breath.

Ana glanced at Mr. Kings his presence commanding but beside her, he looked softer.

Vulnerable, even. She squeezed his hand gently.

“You didn’t tell me we were walking all the way to the Eiffel Tower,” she teased.

He smiled, not breaking his stride.

“I needed the perfect backdrop for what I’m about to say.”

She tilted her head at him, her heart skipping a beat.

“What are you going to say?”

They stopped just beneath the tower, the lights bathing them in a warm glow.

Mr. King turned to face her, his hands reaching for her waist.

“I’ve been thinking about this for a while,” he said.

“Us. You. Me. And the fact that I’m tired of hiding what we have.”

Her eyes widened slightly. “What are you saying?”

He took a breath, his eyes never leaving hers.

“I want to make our relationship public. No more secrets. No more hiding behind closed doors or whispered calls. I love you, Anna. I want the world to know you’re mine.”

Anna’s breath caught in her throat.

The city lights reflected in her eyes, and a slow, radiant smile spread across her face.

“You really mean that?” she asked, voice low.

“Every word,” he whispered.

Then, without waiting another second, he leaned in and kissed her, soft at first, then deeper, more certain.
