Claude dropped the divorce paper on the black sleek table in front of Valerie whose hands were folded “Sign the papers and leave my site ”Claude said in a dead serious tone
Valerie slowly took the pen and signed the papers since she couldn’t defend herself anymore,it was already too late ,the truth about her marrying him for money,about her making out with eden,his business rival under his dârm nose,about her having a child with him,about her and eden planing to ruin his business ,everything had been revealed ,no more lies to tell
Valerie held maya hands taking her away with her bags
“Daddy”Maya cried as Valerie pulled maya out
Claude was hurt seeing maya go ,his mother forced him to marry Valerie,althought the fact he didn’t like the marriage,one thing made him stay back and that was maya,,a child that made him so happy ,having memories with maya was the happiest thing in his lips,he got to watched that memories flushed down the drain
Claude left Ella and Nora,with mix feelings of anger and sadness

“Maya go to your room.,I will be back ”Ella said leaving

Claude entered his room running his hands through his hair ,he hit his fist on the wall angrily,he bleed,ella got to the door knocking

“I want to be alone”He cut in quickly ,before she could reply okay ,he cut her through by entering the bathroom and slamming the door shut,it made Ella heart sank into her stomach totally

April was busy sleeping on her bed,a duvet covered her ,pearl had gone out to party ,a party addict while Barbie walked back and forth clutching her phone to her hands ,staring at the screen over and over again as like she was expecting an important call ,a call popped on her phone
Excitedly she picked it ”Tell me some good news ”
“Sorry ma’am “Her lips dropped to a frown

”What!!!!”She yelled making April awake
“Some of us need to sleep here”April said with droopy red eyes
“Who the heck do you think I am ,I gave you two Millon dollars and you claim to be a gangster ,you can’t even kill a person with just a truck huh ”Barbie yelled ignoring April who groaned covering her face with her duvet
“We thought he was dead but a girl saved him,a girl with colourful hair saved him”Her eyes widened

Minnie eyes fluttered open,yawning softly with messy strands brushing against her cheeks ,waking up in your soulmate penthouse with the smell of his cologne filling the air was s dream come true ,she rolled herself lazily on the bed,her eyes landed on her dress then her mind dripted back to last night
It was a lovely moment she experience in human world ,just thinking about everything made her cheeks red like deep red colour ,she could hear the sound of water pouring ,it was from the bathroom,he was having a shower
The bathroom door cracked open revealing him with a towel wrapped around his waist ,his hair dripping out water which made him look cute since it was spread across his face covering his eyes ,his abs
Her mind screamed oh my gawd trying,to breathe
“You are awake ”He said snapping her thoughts away
“Good morning”She smiled ,he got to his dresser taking out a hoodie ,tossing it to her
“Wear it”He said ,she took it and wore it ,she stand but fell back
“I think am still too sleepy to stand up”She said yanking ,covering her mouth with her hands
He smirked “Not sure that’s the case”He said carrying her into a bridal style then walked her into the bathroom

Jaxon was in the kitchen making breakfast ,he wore a blue pants with apron ,the smell of the food codling with the air
Minnie walked in dressed in his hoodie ,her eyes fluttering shit as the smell lifted her mind
“I didn’t know playboy can cook ”Minnie said from the kitchen doorframe
“Well I ca_”He paused when he lifted his face ,she looked extremely beautiful ,too tiny in his huge black hoodie ,his gaze travelled to her exposed thigh ,her body should be worshipped
“Hey stop staring at me like that ”Minnie said with red face
“Can’t I stare at my girlfriend ”He said,she paused for a moment
“Girlfriend ”She repeated
“Yeah since am your soulmate ,you are my girlfriend ”He said flipping pancakes
“What’s girlfriend means”Minnue asked curiously sitting in front of him
His eyes widened “Right you are from a fairy world ,not a human ,girlfriend and boyfriens means when you have a relationship together like couples”
“Oh okay”She said ,her lips curling to a smile
“Hm minnie since you have find your soulmate which is me are you going back to the_”
“No ,no, no jaxon am staying with you ”She said heading straight to him ,minnie leaned in to kiss ,jaxon but his phone ranged and jaxon hit the answer button by mistake
“Woah oh my gawd”Owen said closing his eyes dramatically,they pulled away from each other
“Calvin come check out this,the bad boy is putting on an apron”Owen laughed,calvin so this too
“Minnie,you sure you haven’t charmed him cause he has never cooks for a girl ”Owen said .
“Never”Calvin added
“Nope”Minnie giggled
“Looks like something happened last night ”Calvin winked
“Am gonna kill you two if I reach there ”He said disconnecting it
“Am also sure you haven’t cooked for any girl too”Minnie teased
“Eat your breakfast ,we need to go to college”He said placing a plate of pancakes in front of her

Ella was lost in thoughts thinking how claude could be doing right now,he said he wants to be alone so she had to respect his decision but she is gawddarm worried
His footsteps echoed through the place as he made his way to the dinner table. “Good morning sir ”Nora smiled
“Good morning nora,ready for school ”She nodded then Claude glared at Ella,their gaze locking into each other
“Mom am done wuth my breakfast “Nora said took her bag pack and ran outside
“Ella am..”
“You don’t have to,it’s fine ,you said you needed space so it’s okay ,I understand ”He nodded with a smile
“You can still see maya you know“Ella said.
“Yeah I know that but now I want to focus on you and and nora”He said ,Ella smiled and hugged him
“I love you so much claude”She whispered
He kissed her hair “love you too”
REDWOOD 8:30pm
The professor was teaching the class ,jaxon strode into the class with Minnie ,the class stared at them murmuring,barbie looked up,her grip breaking her pencil into two

She hates seeing them together
“Why are you guys late to class”The professor said balancing his glasses

“Why we are late is non of your business”He shut him a sharp look,he keep quiet ,jaxon held her hand,walking towards their seat swinging his hand to her back while staring at each other
Barbie sat behind.,grinding her teeth

The girls took their tray of food heading to their usual spot ,minnie felt people glaring at her dangerously especially Barbie
“Guys I think someone must have caused that accident that happened to jaxon ”Minnie said
Beatrix spoon stopped mid-way in the air before it could reach her mouth “Really”
“Yes,i feel it ”
“Come on minnie,it just an accident ”Vicky said before minnie could say anything else,the boys sat with them
“Hey girls”Calvin said pulling beatrix by the waist
“Hey ,we are in the cafeteria ”Beatrix whispered with red cheeks
“Yeah I know that,they would mind ”Calvin said ,the others chuckled
“Hey minnie how was last night ”Owen said making minnie froze ,her body felt heat immediately he said that,jaxon shut him a sharp look but that didn’t stop vicky from smirking

Owen raised a brow
“Nice you say,okay ,hey jaxon I wanted to have a sleepover in your penthouse ,when I got there I heard some noises ,sounded like someone was … ”
Minnie dropped her fork choking on her own breath
“What happened minnie”Vicky asked
”Nothing”Minnie said staring at jaxon
“Owen will you shut up”Jaxon warned ,the girls chuckled ,minnie face got red with embarrassment
“I have to use the restroom”Minnie said leaving immdiately
When Minnie left ,Barbie took the opportunity to follow her

“Minnie”Minnie turned back,her eyes landed on Barbie ,walking towards her with her heels pounding on the ground,an expression on her face she can’t seem to understand jealousy or anger,just plain showing a little hatred
“What do you want Barbie ”Minnie crossed her arms
“What’s so special about you ”Barbie said making minnie confused
“What do you mean Barbie ”Minnie said.
Barbie scoffed “I was doing just fine with my jaxon,untill you came into our lives,he stopped staring at me,he stopped being a playboy and the worst part is that he is in love with you,you know what,i think you are a witch ,a magic freak or something ”Barbie half yelled
Minnie chuckled “Your imagination is so _what can I say and I didn’t take jaxon away from you ,he has always been mine from the beginning got it ”Minnie said and turned her back on minnie
“No one should find out an a fairy ,absolutely no one, and I have find out who caused that accident ,I won’t spare that person ”Minnie thought walking away while Barbie stared at her
“I have to follow this lunatic,i know she’s something more than just a human bîtçh ”Bsrbie said following her slowly

Sunlight streams into Claude’s office, illuminating dust motes dancing in the air. The room is a testament to his success: sleek, modern furniture, a panoramic view of the city, and a subtle air of controlled chaos. Papers are neatly stacked, a half-eaten sandwich sits on his desk, and a complex architectural model is half-assembled.
Claude sits slumped in his chair, staring out the window, lost in thought. His brow is furrowed, his usual vibrant energy dimmed still thinking about last night
The door cracked opened ,Ella entered, her presence immediately lighting up the room. a file in her hands, her expression a mixture of concern and curiosity.
“Claude? Everything alright? You seem miles away,are you still thinking about last night ”She asked ,claude snaps out of his reverie, startled. He quickly smooths his expression, forcing a smile.
He said Slightly too quickly“Everything’s fine. Just…lost in thought, that’s all”
Ella didn’t look convinced. She approached his desk, her gaze searching.
“You sure? You’ve been like this all morning”
“Just about work”He gestures vaguely, trying to dismiss her concern, but his eyes betray him. Ella knows him too well. She places the file on his desk, then leans against it, her arms crossed, studying him.
“Claude,I’m here for you, you know that right?”She said,bareky a whisper,he hesitates, then sighs, the fight draining from him.
“It’s… complicated,ella,how do I forget everything that happened last night ”He said runnng a hand through his hair, the gesture conveying a weariness he usually keeps hidden.
“Want to talk about it more? Or do you just want a distraction”A slow smile spreads across Claude’s face. He reaches out, gently taking her hand.
“Maybe a little of both.”He pulls her closer, and she allows him to do so. The tension in the air begins to dissipate, replaced by a softer energy. He looks into her eyes, the world outside their bubble fading away.
“You know, sometimes I feel like I’m drowning in all of this… the pressure”
“I understand. It’s a lot.”She said with a bright smile tilting his hair
“But then… you walk in, and everything just… shifts. The noise fades, and all I can see is you.”He leans closer, his voice dropping to a whisper.
“You have this way of making everything feel… manageable. Possible.”He gently brushes a stray strand of hair from her face, his touch sending a shiver down her spine.
“And you have a way of making me feel… cherished.”Their gazes locked, a silent conversation passing between them. The city outside, the pressures of work, the weight of the world – all of it melts away. The only thing that matters is the space they occupy, the connection they share.

Beatrix walked in with Minnie and poppy fell on the bed with a loud sigh ,poppy sat down on hers quietly ,not talking to any one with an unreadable expression ,vicky also got in too
“Minnie is it true that you spend the night at jaxon place ”Vicky asked
“Yes I did ,but to take care of him ”Minnie said.
“But Owen said..”
“You guys know how…”
“Don’t lie to us ,you love him don’t you,you prove us that by kissing him in front of everyone yesterday,you were even crying badly ”Vicky said ,minnie cheeks went red
“Okay enough yes I love him ”Minnie said
“What about adam”Beatrix asked that’s when poppy head raised up
“Adam isn’t meant for me,he’s meant for poppy ”Minnie said glaring at her ,she walked towards poppy sitting beside her
“I don’t like companies ”Poppy said coldly
“You don’t have to be cold with me,have this,i it’s adam’s number ,call him ”Minnie said with a smile,poppy stared at her then the number ,she took it and quickly dual adam’s number without hestitation
“Tha ..tha..”
“Come on poppy it’s not that hard”Beatrix said.
Poppy rolled her eyes“Thanks ”She finally said,minnie smiled
“Come on guys let’s give her soace”Vucky said and they all left the dorm
As her phone rang ,she was feeling shy ,fidgeting with her hem of top
“Hi ,who’s this”Adam asked
She tilted her hair with an unknowing smile“Hi adam,it’s me poppy ,I just wanted to know how the speeling bee is going ”
“Oh poppy where did you get my number ”He said.
“Forgwt about it,you are popular don’t you know that _”
“How’s minnine doing”He interrupted her ,poppy heart sank into her stomach with sadness,she was asking how everything was but he was busy asking how minnie is
“Am sorry I shouldn’t have ask that ,really sorry,anyways the spelling bee is great,really great,i will be coming back soon ”Adam said
“When you are back ,do…you..mind going out with me ,so we can celebrate you winning ”He chuckled ,she smiled
“Are you serious ,I don’t even know if I will win and you want to celebrate it already ”He said
“Of course you will win,you a smart hot guy ,why not”She said then hit her head

Their were slience for a moment until adam decided to break it
“Yeah of course,why not,we will celebrate,after am back,right now I have to go ,I guess I will see you later ”
“Yeah sure,bye”She said and he ended the call
“Am so stupid ”Poppy groaned hiting her pillow on her face

Ella came out from the sleek car scanning the school for nora ,nora ran into her arms “Mommy”
“How was school today ”Ella said
“It was ok….”Nora fell to the floor when maya hit her as she passed

Nora stood up with a frown ,that’s when Ella saw Valerie ,gaze locked into her then she walked towards her
“I am sure you are happy ,now you can make out with my Claude huh ”Valerie said with hatred ,all over her face
“Hey Claude is mine after all ,I have to tell you a secret why me and Claude are so close,Claude and I were dating in college back then ,I was pregnant with Claude child “
“Lier”Valerie yelled
“That’s the true ,mrs Mary found out and thrratened me to leave or else she would kill me and my child,i had ran away ,that child am taking about is nora”
“Yoi are such s darm lier you whore”Valerie mocked
“If you want ,think is a lie ,but soon I will get married to Claude snd you will witness it”Ella said leaving with nora
“It’s s lie,i shouldn’t think too much “Valerie said shooking her head
NIGHT
The sound of heels clinked on the ground ,it was minnie walking towards where the incident of jaxon accident took place
She bent down to the ground recalling what see saw yesterday
She closed her eyes chanting something ,whispering ,a bright light shinned ,a vision was revealed ,what happened thirty minutes ago before jaxon accident was revealed like a firm in front of her
There, the truck driver taking to a lady,no a girl ,minnie moved closer to see who she was ,her fist clenched ,her jaw tighened ,it was Barbie
She left heading to her car before leaving with a speed ,jaxon car was coming and the truck hit jaxon car which lead to the accident
The vision disappeared
Minnie blood boiled ,she wasn’t going to spare Barbie not at all
