I just finished working in my office, I missed my little angel, Mona, I picked my phone and message her
Come to my office”i smile after texting her
I waited for to come,but I didn’t see her
Was she ignoring, or this is a payback”i said and gasped,i remember that she knows no where in this house
Where the hell did she go”i murmured and stand up to go and look for her,I exceed my office and something caught my eyes
TF,my secret room, the door was open widely,I sighted a person inside checking the frames
I walked inside and turn on the light, it was Mona, but the
devil in me doesn’t cool down
What the hell are you doing here”i said with a cold voice, she looks back at me and she flinched, I know am scaring her,I wanted to stop but the stupid devil living inside me won’t stop
I f+cking ask a question,what are you doing here”i yelled and she scream
You are scaring me”she said and passed out, but I caught her before she touch the ground
Mona, Mona, please look at me”i said while shaking her
What happens here”i heard a voice behind me,it’s Mom voice
I look back and Skylar and Arianna was also there,they ran to me checking Mona out
Call the doctor”Mom said and Skylar ran out to call the doctor

You don’t need to worry,she just passed out because she was scared, you just need to avoid her from being scared again”the doctor said and I caressed Mona hair
I sat beside her on my bed,I took her to my room,Arianna and Skylar were also sitting on the edge of the bed
Thank you Mr Reyes”Mom said and she see the doctor out,she came back in a few minutes,
Am the one at fault, I just told her that your office was in second floor, fifth door, I don’t told her maybe right or left”Skylar said guilty and I nod
Arianna, you should get some sleep, she will be okay”Mom
said again and hug Arianna
Follow Aunt Skylar, good night”she said and Skylar took Arianna hand
Good night”she said and I nod at her,then they left
She will be okay,don’t worry”Mom assured me and I nod,my eyes still not leaving Mona face
You can go Mom,I will take care of her”i said and she signed
Ok,good night”she said and kiss my hair before going out
I turn on the heater in the room and went towards my closet,I bring out a hoodie and wear it for Mona
I enter the bathroom and did my business, I went out and
went towards the closet, I wear a sweat pants and a hoodie
I was drying my hair when Mona open her eyes, she wanted to sit down and I ran to her
You shouldn’t stand up”i said and touched her but she moved back
Am sorry, I didn’t know it was not your office”she said and started crying
She was scared of me,am a beast
Am sorry,Mona, I didn’t mean to scared you,am sorry”i said trying to hold her, and she didn’t resist, I use the opportunity to move closer to her and hug her
Am sorry”i said again petting her,she soaked my hoodie with
her tears till she fall asleep,I lay her on the bed back and cover her with the sheets
I exceed my room and went towards the secret room,I enter the room and closed the door behind me, I walk towards the frames of my mother and I knee in front of it
Mom,I missed you, I missed you so much”i said and felt a liquid on my cheeks, that’s it,it’s my tears, anytime I look at her picture, I always cry
I just act tough and cold to people, but deep down me,am nothing, am weak
But since the day I know Monalisa Reuben, I started smiling, I even laughed on nothing, I don’t remember the last time I cry
Am sorry mother, am sorry that am not strong enough to save you from the beast, am sorry”i said crying bitterly
NEXT MORNING, TUESDAY
CHRIS OWEN MANSION*
CHRIS BEDROOM*
MONALISA POV,
The aroma of a toasted bread and egg woke me up, it filled my nostrils and I open my eyes, the celling was the first thing I saw
I look around the room and I realised that am not in my room
What happens yesterday”i said inwardly and I feel like I wear
something thick, I remember wearing a singlet and bumbshot yesterday
I spranged up and checked my clothes under the bedsheets, my bumbshot was still on me,I wanted to check under the hoodie when I heard Chris voice
I wear it on your clothes when you are cold,I didn’t undress you”chris said coming towards me,he was dressed up, I think he is ready to go to the office
He sat down on the bed beside and check my temperature
Your temperature is normal”he said and stand up,he carried a tray on the stool beside the bed and put it on the bedin front of me
Your breakfast, and this is your medicine”he said and gave me the medicine
One more thing,your aunt surgery went well, but she will be discharged next two weeks”he said and I smile brightly
Thanks”i said smiling and he nod
It’s your day off,Skylar will stay with you,so by tomorrow, we will visit Aunt”he said and bend down to my level resting his hand on the bed,he pecked my lips and I smile
He wanted to stand straight, but I grabbed his shirt and push him close at once,I slammed my lips on him and he chuckles
I can’t lie,I missed his lips so much, we smile through the kiss,he push me closer to get more access to my lips and I m0an
Lovers”we heard Skylar voice behind us and we broke the kiss, when did she even opens the door,Chris stand straight and face Skylar
Can’t you knocked”Chria said and she scoffed
Bye, I will text you when I got to the office”Chris said facing me and I nod, he carried his suitcase, exceeding the room, but not before he gave Skylar a knock on her head,she yelped and hiss
I hate you”she shout after him
Same here”Chris said and left, Skylar turns back to me and sit beside me
Breakfast in bed”she said grinning and picked a bread eating it,I nudged her with my arms and she frown
You are the same”she said still eating,I used my medicine and began to eat
You know Chris prepare this”she said and I look up at her
He cooks”i asked and she nod,my heart melted and I smile,I have fall in love with him second time
Oh my goodness, you are blushing, hmm”she said smiling brightly and I laughed
I need to take my bath,I will be back”she said again and left
I can’t deny it,I love Chris, but does he also feels the same way towards me, I signed and stare into space
AMUSEMENT PARK,
LINDA POV,
I was in the Amusement Park, I sit down on the bench with a cone of ice cream in my hand,this is where I come to whenever I miss my dad,I will saw many daughters that came with their father
A tears drop from my eyes and I started crying, my phone rings beside me,I check the caller,it was Ivy,I pick the call and her voice came out
Where the hell are you Linda,I get to the restaurant, I didn’t meet you there”she snapped at me
Am in the Amusement Park”i said sniffing and she got it immediately, she signed loudly
Stay right there,I will pick you up now”she said
Don’t worry Ivy, am good, you know there would be sometimes that I will want to cry it out, I will be fine”i assured her and she signed again
Promise me that you won’t cry too much”she said and I chuckle
I promise, pinky promise”i said and we laugh
Bye”she said and hang up

I should leave, it’s getting dark”i said standing up to leave and I bumped into a wall,oh my bad, it was a chest, the ice-cream I was holding pour on his shirt in the process and I gasped,am dead
I moved back to take a good look on his face, my mouth went wide open and my heart started beating, oh my heaven, he is what they called hot,handsome and well built guy
Am so sorry,I didn’t mean to bump into you”i said cleaning his shirt with my hands
It’s okay, I will change it”he said smiling and a man that looks like a guard bought another shirt for him,how did he communicate with him now

Was this my mommy”she said leaving James and came to me and I was so confused,don’t she knows her mommy
I bend down to her level and she hug me tightly and I smile

She is not mommy,Milly”james said and the girl frown
I want her,she will be my mommy”the girl started crying,I didn’t even expect what came out of my mouth
Don’t mind daddy,he was joking with you”i said and James look at me confusedly

Millagro, follow aunt Victoria, I need to speak with mommy”james said smiling
She is coming home tonight right”she asked
No baby,mommy need to do something very urgent”james said and she frown
I hand her over to her nanny and she wave at me,while I wave back
She is lovely”i said and James chuckles

You know kids need to be pampered, and she is a lovely girl”i said and he laughed

Millagro Wilson”he answered,I wanted to ask about her real mother when I heard my name
Linda”Ivy called behind me and I look back,she walks towards us and eye me and James
I told you not to worry”i said smiling but she keeps her long face, I know am in soup right now

I met Ivy inside the car and I enter

No we just met”i answered her and she gasped
And you are smiling brightly while talking to him”she half yelled
Okay,let say love at first sight”i said and she smile
Oh wow,my Linda is growing up”she said and we laugh

It’s weekend already, Chris, Monalisa,Skylar, Arianna,Gianna, Rose and Natalie were eating breakfast when Skylar broke the silence
Gianna always visit them on weekends
After breakfast, we are going for shopping, there will be a pool party tomorrow”she said smiling and everybody looks at her except Chris
Who is in”she asked
Always in”Rose said and Natalie raised her hand, Arianna also raised her,remains me and Chris
I raised up my hand also and nudged Chris with my second hand
Raised your hand”i whispered to him and he scoffed
Why will I raised my hand,when I have no choice”he said and everybody laughed

CHRIS POV
I was in my office, when my phone rings out, it’s an unknown number,I hesitate before answering it
Hello”i said what I heard was a laughter, I look confused
Who is this please”i said again
Don’t you recognise my voice”he said and I remember the voice, the voice I despise most in my life, the beast who call himself a human
Long time my son”he said and I frown
Am back, but I will have to take care of your precious girlfriend before I came back for you”he said laughing
Don’t you dare,touch her,am not the Chris in the past am a
new Chris, I will ruin you,mark my words”i said and she laugh again
Threat”he said grinning and he hung up,I ran out of my office
Get the car”i yelled when I got downstairs and I entered my car and I drove off, I didn’t even wait for my guards but I think they were after me

Monalisa,Arianna,Gianna and Skylar were in the mall,when I enter,the guards were also with them,I ran towards them and they look at me suspiciously
What happens, thought you said you are not coming”Mona said and I smile, I didn’t want them to be scared
Nothing, I just feel bored”i said and chuckles
Or you missed her”Skylar said and they laughed, they continued shopping and I sit down thinking about Rocky

NEXT DAY,TONIGHT*
The pool was full,Mona friends were also present, Cole was present, I was sitting down on a chair beside Cole
How is your girlfriend”Cole said smiling and I ignore him
Do you really love that girl”he said again and I ignore him again
Am not surprised, you always act like that, but I take that as a yes,you love her”he said and stand up,then he left
Talk of Mona,I haven’t seen her since,my eyes caught her coming to the pool with Skylar and her friends, they were wearing matching outfits
They wear a mini skirt lingerie,Mona was screaming hot,my eyes on her has she was walking towards me,she was smiling brightly and my little king was rising in my shorts
Mona clears her throat when she sat next to me
Hi”she said smiling
Hi”i said and clear my throat
You are hot”i whispered in her ears and she smile
Excuse me”i said and went inside,I need to calm the little king rising in my trousers

Arianna was walking in the hallway when Chris came out of his room,
Buddy,you here”Arianna said
Yeah, came to fetch something in my room”Chris said
Oh,okay, let join them back downstairs”Arianna said and Chris sighted the chain on Arianna neck,it has a pendant of a key
Where did you get that chain,”Chris said and Arianna touch the chain on her neck
This”she said and Chris nodded
It’s mine,our parents gave us as a gift, thou,it was Monalisa that gave me when I was five,she lost her own before she gave me mine,and she told me she lost it when she was fifteen years Arianna explain to Chris
Follow me”he said and they enter the office
What happens buddy”Arianna said confusedly and Chris turn back to her
You will understand now,just be patient”he said and pressed a button on his watch and the bookshelves parted into two, a door open behind it
It was his underground, where he works, Arianna was surprised, they enter and the door closed automatically
Arianna was busy staring and admiring the place, Chris on the other hand open his drawer and bought out a chain,it has a padlock pendant, it was the same design with Arianna own
It the same, how-did-you find it”Arianna said stuttering still staring at the chain before diverting her gaze to Chris
Chris doesn’t answer her,he just ran out of the place and Arianna follows him,he ran downstairs towards the pool and ran directly to where Monalisa was standing
He kissed her at once without giving her time to balance,he kissed her hungrily for some minutes before he broke the kiss
I love you Mona”he said and reconnect their lips again
