MONALISA POV
The sound of alarm woke me up and I groaned, I sat up on the bed
Don’t I off this alarm yesterday”i said to myself
Talk of yesterday night when me and Chris kissed,I ran out after feeling embarrassed, but I liked it
His lips was so soft and tastes good,I don’t even know how
to face him today, and what the hell is happening to me
Was it that have started having feelings for him
No,no,no”i said shaking my head
I get down and walk towards the bathroom and did my business there,I went out back and enter my closet
I picked a white hoodie that has a black design with a black bumshot and white sneakers, I picked a black matching underwear
I dress up and went out,I went to the room where Arianna and Gianna were and I found them still sleeping in their barbie room
The room was very beautiful, I smiled and went out back, I move towards downstairs and saw some few maids working
Morning”i greet them and bow
Morning ma’am”they said in unison and bow
Just Monalisa”i said and smile at them and I could see fear in their eyes,they were scared because of Chris
I will talk to him”i murmured to myself and left,I walked towards the kitchen and there were many maids there and they were cooking
This food is too much, did we have a guest”i said inwardly and I sighted Aunt Natalie, she was monitoring the maids
I ran to her and hug her from behind
Morning aunt Natalie”i said smiling
She broke the hug and face me
Morning cheeks”she said and I pout
Cute”she said again and I smile
What is behind this smiling, any update”she said eyeing me
Truth be told am so happy this morning, I don’t know maybe it was because of the kiss I had with Chris
Nothing am just happy”i said and she smile
What can I help you with”i said again looking around
What you can help me with is for you to sit on that kitchen island and watch me”she said and I frown
I dragged myself to the freezer and bring out a chocolate ice cream, I went to sit on the kitchen island and I bring out my phone reading novel
I feel like someone was staring at me, you know that feeling, when you feels like eyes were on you, I looked up and it was true, someone was staring at me
It was that maid that usually glare at me,she was staring at
me dangerously, throwing daggers at me with her eyes,if eyes could kill,I would have been dead
I also glare at her without looking away, what was her deal
A voice brings me out of my thoughts, it was not just voice, it was a scream
Where is she”that was what the person said,it was a lady voice, aunt Natalie walks towards the door and a lady at my age came in
She was dress in baggie jeans and white crop top with a jeans jacket
Wow,she was my type but she is very loud
She hug aunt Natalie and they disengaged
Where is she”she said again
Who was she talking about”i asked myself inwardly
Aunt Natalie point at me and the lady ran towards me, she hug me tightly,suffocating me
She disengaged and said
OMG,are you a goddess”she said turning me around
Where did that arrogant boy found you”she said again which I found confused
Who is she,who is the arrogant boy, Chris voice jolt me out from my thoughts
What the hell is the noise early in the morning in my house”he said entering the kitchen
Skylar”he said again looking surprised,the Skyler girl ran to him and jump on him,hugging the hell out of him
Chris also hug her back twirling her around and giggling like a child
They disengaged and Skylar said
I miss you brother,so much”she said
TH! They were siblings,Chris had a younger sister
I don’t miss you cause you are a troublesome kid”Chris said playing with her cheeks
Stop that man”Skylar said with frowning face
And wait, where did you find this angel”she said again pointing at me and ushered me to come and i walk towards them
Me and Chris eyes were glued together until I break it
Oh, we met at a restaurant”Chris said smiling and I knew he was lying, why won’t he tell her where we meet
I don’t even care cause I love her already, and I know mom
will love her too”she said
Am home babies”Another voice said in the sitting room,I guess
Oh my god, mom is here”Skylar said dragging me out with her
Mom”she shout and jump on her, but wait this woman looks familiar
They broke the hug and I see her face more clearly,
WTH!she is Rose Campbell, she is Chris mother but they didn’t have the same surname
Mom meet Chris girlfriend”Skylar introduce me to her and she saw me
Her eyes went wide open and she exclaim
You!”she shout,I bet Chris and Skylar were confused,Rose run to me and give me a hug
She break the hug and play with my cheeks
You look more beautiful Monalisa”she said smiling
Did you know each other”Skylar asked and looks at us suspiciously and we nod
Come on let sit down”Rose said and ushered me to sit,everyone sat down
You know the other day I met you,I didn’t get your number, I went there back and they said you quit your job,I was very sad because I want you to be my daughter- in- law”she said and everybody gasped
What the hell mom”Chris said almost yelling
Just shut up,when I told you I want a grandchild, you didn’t give me,you just go around with your flings”she snapped at him
Mom”he said frowning
I smile secretly to avoid laughing but Skylar laughed
You too get a boyfriend and stop travelling around”she said and Skylar stop laughing while I chuckle
As I was saying,don’t you see that this was a fate,I wanted you to be my daughter- in- law not knowing that you are already dating my son”she said smiling while grinning ear to ear
I feel so sad and guilty, what if she found out we are not dating, what will she do,it will surely break her heart
I looked at Skylar also and feel guilty again, it will also break her heart
It was cut shot when I heard my name,it was Gianna, she called in a serious and fear tone
Aunt Monalisa”she said exceeding the stairs,everybody turns their heads towards her,she was already tearing up
What the hell happened, I sprang up and ran towards her
What happened?”I asked checking her out
Ari. . .Arianna”she said pointing up
What happened to her”i heard Chris asked but have already left,I ran to her room and met her in pain,she was crying and shouting her stomach
I ran to the bed and place her head on my lap
Ari,talk to me what happen to you?”I asked,and feel a liquid
on my cheeks,it’s my tears,
Someone gets the doctor”i heard Chris voice again and I think everyone was in the room
SUNRISE HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER*
IVY POV
I was walking back to my office after the surgery i went to perform,I get to my office door and met it open
I know there is someone inside and that person is nobody than Linda Grayson, she is the one who always visit my office without closing the door
I smiled and enter,offing my lab coat on the way
What do I owe this visit”i said and she signed
Don’t tell me you quit your job”i said again finally sitting down
Nope, you know I love my job,I just take a leave”she said still not smiling, but she is dealing with the ice-cream in her hand
Was there something bothering you, cause the Linda I know never look sad without a reason”i said going through the file on my table
She visit me at work three days ago”she said and I look up,l don’t need a soothsayer to tell me who she is talking about
Whenever she was talking and feeling down its always her mom she was talking about
What happened?”I asked
Not really important, she said she miss me that I should come back home”she said and I saw a drop of tears on her cheeks and her eyes were teary
I know she was holding back her tears but she can’t fight it,I stood up and sat on the table facing her
You know I always told you she might has her reasons for doing that,but I want you to follow your heart, I know you missed her too,you have to forgive and forget”i said raising her head up
Yes,I missed her so much,I missed her touch, her voice, I missed everything about her, but I can’t seem to forget everything she did”she said crying
You will be fine”i said placing her head on my stomach and she hug me back, I disengaged after some minutes and clean the tears on her face
You know you look ugly whenever you cry” i said palming her face
Really”she said chuckling and I nod
You know whenever you act matured towards me,it feels like my mom was advising me”she said again and I smile
You know am older than both of you”i said
Talk of both of us,when last did we talk to Monalisa and don’t you see what is happening online, she finally become the almighty Chris Owen girlfriend”she said and I went to my sit back
I saw it and I feel like beating the hell out of her”i said and we laugh
Thou am happy for her and she will also come tomorrow,we can talk about it”i said again and she nod
CHRIS POV
It has been a while that the doctor has attend to Arianna, but we are all still in the room
The doctor said what happen to her is nothing serious but if care is not taking it will be serious,
He said she is not eating well,maybe she is eating one meal a day,he prescribed some drugs for her
Since he left Mona has been crying,while mom and Skylar has been consoling her
Arianna has been quiet,she is also crying silently
Why did you do that?”Mona said asking Arianna
Am sorry”Arianna said sobbing
Do you understand this, what did I do wrong for you all,why are you leaving me alone,Mom and Dad left me,Aunt Camilla
also want to left me,you also want to left me,what is my sin”Mona snapped and crying
I can’t leave you,I can’t, but I can’t just sit watching you working your ass out and spending the money without doing anything about it”Arianna said
Did I complain to you,did I Ari”Mona said finally yelling
You didn’t complain but I know you are tired,you didn’t show it but you are tired inside”Arianna said also yelling
You work in restaurant in morning, you work as a cleaner in a workshop in afternoon, you work in a clubhouse at night,you quit working in the workshop because your boss wanted to take an advantage of you,I don’t also know why or how you quit your job in the clubhouse, but I know there is no other reason than that the boys want you beneath them”she said and I feel guilty
You became uncle Chris PA because of aunt surgery and my
school fees,you still become his maid because of the money, bumbshot and crop top became your obsessed clothes, because you will rather save the money than to buy dress for yourself, but you buy for me,you didn’t make me feel like I don’t have a parent”she said again and a drop of tears roll down on my cheeks
You didn’t have a boyfriend because the time that you will spent with him,you would rather find another job to do, you have been suffering since the day we lost our parents, when am growing up,I always saw you crying alone with our parents photos on your hand”she said
You act tough outside and you used your smile to decieve others like you are happy,but deep down you are suffering”she said again and Monalisa ran out crying, tears were in everybody eyes, Skylar sit down on the bed petting Arianna and I ran after Monalisa
Where did she ran to”i asked a maid that I meet in the hallway and she point towards the gym
I ran there and I met her buried her face in her palm crying,I
sat down beside her and she raised her head up
Am a bad sister,I just give her breakfast, pack her lunch sometimes and gave her some money,I don’t know maybe she eat dinner or not,every time I reach home back, she always told me she eat dinner”she said sniffing
What is the meaning of a bad sister”i said and she stare at me
Who told you that you’re a bad sister,you feed her,you care for her,and just for one mistake which is not your fault, you are blaming yourself”i said and she signed
It wasn’t even her fault, she just wanted to help”i said again
Am sorry”she said and I scoffed
You know when she said she doesn’t know why you quit working in the clubhouse, that it maybe because a guy wants you beneath them,I feel guilty and scared”i said and she laugh and I join her
Am glad that I make you laugh” I said smiling
Thank you”she said and I stand up,I reach my hands for her
Let go,you haven’t eat”i said and she took my hand, we exceed the gym and walked toward the dinning room
As soon as we reach the dinning room Arianna ran to her and hug her
Am so sorry big sis”she said crying and Mona hug her back
It’s okay, but promise me you won’t do that anymore”Mona said and they disengaged staring at each other
I promise you”Arianna said and Monalisa hug her back
Let eat”Skylar said and everybody sit down to eat,the maid started dishing the food and they left but Aunt Natalie join us
We dig in and suddenly mom called me
Chris”she called and I raised my brows at her
Arianna said something earlier, that Monalisa was your PA and your maid, she is also your girlfriend, you want to kill her”she said frowning
Oh,no mom,truly she was my PA and she stay in this house cause I hired her as a maid before she be my girlfriend, but she is not my maid at all,I just hired her”i explained
Mom that’s a lie, I met her in the kitchen when I arrived”Skylar said
Will you stop that Sky”i snapped at her
There were sometimes I had to stop her from working, because she woke up early to do the house chores”Aunt Natalie said and I gasped
Mona,explain everything to them”i said facing Mona beside me
I have nothing to explain, they said the truth”Mona said blinking cutely
You haven’t stopped this annoying thing, you’re all leaving my house today”i said and stand up, I look at Mona innocent face again and left
That’s how they annoy me whenever they are all around, but I don’t know Mona will also side with them
I entered my office and closed the door
