( ACID BATH )
“I wanna die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Mary screamed immediately, holding the hurting cheek.
The liquid penetrated into her skin, and pains visited her system again.
It kept stinging venomously, and she kept screaming till it dried up, but surprisingly it only left a swell on her cheek, no burn mark.
The lady pocketed the white bottle, then she brought out a transparent one, ACID was written boldly on the body.
She opened the lid and Mary started searching for her legs with her hands.
When she finally got a hold of it, she held it tightly.
“Please… just kill me straight…. please kill me and stop torturing me, send me to heaven and stop doing this to me!!!” She cried loudly, and the lady retracted her hand.
She covered the acid and took her leg roughly from Mary, then she walked out of the cell and locked the door.
Mary returned to the ground, sobbing quietly as she became weaker and weaker.
Her hand suddenly touched something, and she took it.
Judging by it’s structure as she ran her hands through it, it’s definitely an hairpin.
Maybe it fell from the lady.
She wrapped her palm tightly on it immediately.

ROSARIO’S MANSION**
“Why the hell did you stop the torture!, She should be dead by now!” Romanio shouted when he entered.
Rosario was standing in the middle of the living room.
“Your anger hasn’t been quenched?” He said calmly.
“What’d you mean?” Romanio asked.
“You haven’t stopped seeing her as mum?, this is exactly one hour since you started the torture, you should stop now” Rosario said, and Romanio laughed maniacally.
“Are you trying to defend her again?, I was expecting you to come and kill her yourself!” Romanio shouted.
“I brought her from the church in Russia myself!, How the f+k will she get a phone inside this place Roma, think and stop getting blinded with anger!”
“There are mobsters dude!, Mobsters!, You trust her that much?, Even after all evidences pointed at her?” Romanio said.
“She didn’t do it, so enough of the torture, enough Roma .. enough!” Rosario shouted, and Romanio rushed to grab his shoulders
“Why the f+k are you like this bastard!, You even care about her than me?, Are you in love with her like I suspected?”
“If I was in love with her, you think I’d allow to you to torture her that way?, F+king get back to your senses and stop the torture!”
“What are you gonna do?, Kill me?, Do you wanna end up like father?, Do you…
“Stop talking about father Roma!, Not like you’re ready to follow his footsteps! Stop already ok?, Stop!!!” Rosario yelled, and Romanio stood still.
“I’m not ready to follow it, I don’t wanna f+king end up like him!” He shouted at once.
“She saved my f+king life!, The wash essence, have you forgotten?, Why’d she do that if she was a spy?, And she can’t even be a spy!, How is that possible dude… how!!”
“You also almost died because of her!, The burning ship!, Rosa you’re mad swear it!,how could you even think of saving her in this situation!, She needs to be eliminated!”
“If she’s the accomplice, why would she come to the vault?, If she’s really the owner of that phone then she wouldn’t be taking it around dude!, Can you just think with your brain for once?, She’s not Mary Kay” Rosa replied, and Romanio smirked.
“Why was her fingerprints found on the phone then?, Why did the footage reveal how she went to take the call!, The seven mobsters were lying?” Romanio breathed.
“You know the truth Roma! If she was with a phone I’d have found out!, Stop tryna turn it around and use your head!” Rosario yelled.
“I’m senseless?, Is that it?” Romanio replied, drawing his gun.
“You behave senseless a lotta times, when your emotions get the best of you” Rosario replied, and Romanio pulled the trigger, shooting Rosario on the arm.
“F+k you!, F+k you for choosing that b+tch over me!, F+k you!.. and you have to prove her innocence before bringing her out of that cell, else she’s not coming out” he said and threw down the gun before walking out of the mansion.
Rosario looked at his bleeding arm and sighed, then he picked up the gun.
He walked into his room and dropped it on the bed, then he picked some things before leaving the mansion.
He made his way to the frost cells and scanned for when cell she’s in before going in completely.
He walked to her cell and opened the padlock, then he went in and stood still when he saw her condition.
He was expecting this much, but he never knew he’d get emotional cos his eyes became glassy immediately.
Tears accumulated in his eyes, but he wiped them before they’d fall, then he sat on the rock and lifted her up, making her sit on her bu+t, but he had to hold her down cos she can’t even sit on her own.
Her eyes remained close as he stared at her, and when he saw the swell on her cheek, he narrowed his eyes.
‘Devil’s tears?’ he thought, touching the swell, she winced painfully.
He quickly retracted his hand, and he lay her down again, but her head is on his laps this time.
He got an injection from his pocket and shoved it into her neck at once, giving her the whole thing.
It’s actually painkiller, the only thing that can neutralize the pain spreader injection.
Immediately he gave her the shot, her head relaxed on his lap, and he got a spray.
He sprayed it on her face, and he spread her legs apart to spray it in the middle too.
It’ll neutralize the stinging pepper pain.
The guard he sent to the ground the other time actually told him the details of everything, and that’s why he knew the actual spots.
Mary relaxed even more, and he took off his shirt.
He wiped the blood on her face with it, though half of it is already dried.
After wiping, he got a blue liquid container which he poured directly on the fresh wounds.
He poured some on her feets too, and the stinging started leaving.
After that, he wrapped a bandage around her head .
When he noticed her eyes are closed tightly, he tried opening them with his fingers, but he wasn’t able to.
He looked at the swell on her cheek again, he’s pretty sure someone used devil’s tears on her, and that’s why a swell like this appeared.
Devil’s tears is a little close to acid, but the difference is that, acid leaves an ugly burn, but devil’s tears leaves a rough swell.
It was invented by Lawrence, so he just has to call him for the ointment that’ll make the swell disappear.
He lifted her head and hugged her gently, stroking her hair as he did.
He let her go after some minutes, making her lay back on the rock before standing.
He looked at her for long before walking out of the cells, then Clyde came out of his hiding place.
He actually sneaked his way in and was about to get to the cell when Rosario came in, so he had to hide.
He rushed to the cell and held the metal bars.
“Madonna” He called in an hush tone, and her ears moved.
“Cly… Clyde” she muttered, raising up her head.
“I’m so sorry I was helpless, I couldn’t help, I feel useless” he sobbed.
“It’s not….your fault…not like you’re the.. boss” she replied, returning her head to the ground.
Clyde squatted and dipped his hand into the spaces between the metals, then he held her hand.
“I trust your innocence, I believe you” he said.
“Thanks…. where’s Lush?”
“She won’t be released till tomorrow but don’t worry about her, she’s more like a robot so she’ll feel less pains from her arm” he replied.
Mary went silent after that.
“I believe Lord Rosario will prove your innocence, and…
“Don’t mention him…. please don’t” she replied.
“And I’ll try my possible best to make it possible too, you’ll be exonerated” he said.
He was still holding her hand, and before he could stop himself, tears fell from his eyes.
