Rosita checked the time for the third time, wondering why Skylar wasn’t out of the house yet. She went in minutes ago, claiming she needed to go get something sorted, but she’s still nowhere to be found around here.

Renee checked her time too.

“What’s taking her so long?”

“I’ll go check on her,” Quincy offered, but before he could even take a step, Skylar finally emerged, still looking weirdly happy.

“You took long!” Rosita complained.

“I didn’t didn’t invite you guys to go with me, remember?” Skylar said bluntly.

“Mean bitch!” Renee sneered.

“Love the compliment, bi+ch.” Skylar gave her a chin tilt before getting regally on her bike.

Quincy grinned jovially, and Renee’s face instantly changed.

“You’re seriously unlikable, but what can I do? I like unlikable whores.” Rosita laughed as she got in her car.

“Let’s go!” Quincy opened the backdoor of Rosita’s car and faced Renee who looked enraged.

“I give up! I’m not going anywhere!” She spat.

Before he could get a hold of her, she rushed inside.

“Renee!” Quincy took a step.

“You going or not?” Rosita lowered her window, giving him a questioning stare.

He reluctantly got in the car, and immediately Rosita moved the car, he texted Renee.

Quincy: What’s up with you?

He got no reply.

He stayed greatly troubled throughout the ride.

Shortly, they arrived at Ayana’s house at the last lane. They met the witch outside the house this time. She was selecting strange charm beads on a long bench.

Her eyes weren’t white like they were the other time. This time, her eyes were normal.

Maybe because she’s outside.
She also looked ten times younger.

Skylar didn’t bother giving her bike a full stand. She pushed it aside and ran to the frontage.

Rosita and Quincy had to start struggling to catch up with her.

“Ayana! I need your help!” Skylar held the woman by her black dress.

The witch looked up from her beads.
Skylar felt chills all-over her as their eyes properly met for the first time.

“I want out of this city. I need my family. I’ll do anything to get help on how to go about it.”

“You have a special blood flowing through you.” The witch’s eyes refused to rotate in their sockets as she talked.

“I know…” Skylar nodded. “I know I’m Apex, and Satan stole me for her Null daughters cos of it.”

“Apex might be the lifeline of Null, but Apex don’t live long,” Ayana said and continued gathering her beads.

Skylar’s heart jumped.

“What do you mean?”

“The maddscientist who invented the whole system made sure that once an Apex starts transfusing to Null monthly, then the lifespan of the Apex will be cut short. They don’t live longer than mid-twenties.”

“No….” Skylar shook her head. “You’re lying…. saying I won’t live longer than 25?”

“You came here to ask questions cos you were sure I’d never deceive you.” Ayana gave her a stare again.

Skylar grabbed her forearms tightly, desperately.

“But there’s a way out….” The witch continued talking. “There’s only one ApexPlus human in this world, and legend says he’s a male. “Find him, connect with him, and your lifespan will automatically be elongated. He might be your key to finding your family too.” She shrugged.

“ApexPlus?” Skylar blinked.

“It’s the superior blood type. Find him quick, Skylar. There are so many Apex in this world looking for the very special ApexPlus male,” Ayana replied and faced her beads arrangements again.

“One last question.” Skylar swallowed. “Who’s the maddscientist? Is he dead? Or alive?”

Ayana acted like she wasn’t gonna answer at first, but then she shifted close slowly and leaned into Skylar ear.

She whispered something discreet, and Skylar nodded quick.

“Thank you, Ayana.”

Ayana didn’t reply to that.

Skylar left the frontage and jumped back down, meeting Quincy and Rosita exactly where she left them.

“I swear, immediately you entered the frontage, we couldn’t move. More like something tied us down here,” Rosita said in a rush.

“Did you meet the witch?” Quincy asked.

Skylar said nothing.

She only walked furiously to her bike, having one thing in mind… “I won’t die. Only stupid weaklings die. I won’t f+kin die.”

“Sky!” Rosita pulled her back. “Yeah your coldness is s+y, but don’t ignore me!”

Skylar wrapped her tightly by the neck immediately, squeezing her trachea wickedly till Rosita couldn’t breathe.

“There’s another blood type besides Apex and Null, and now I have to look for him if I want to live long because my monthly transfusion to you and your twin have been sucking away my lifespan!” She shouted.

Then she let go of Rosita roughly.

Rosita staggered, nearly falling, but Quincy quickly guided her.

With red eyes, Skylar got on her bike and thundered down the road.

“She’s brutal,” Quincy muttered. “You alright?” He stared at Rosita’s neck which had Skylar’s fingerprints.

“You’d be brutal too if you were like a slave whose blood got transfused to two girls monthly.” Rosita coughed, caressing her neck.

“At first, I didn’t want to believe the whole stuff about the strange blood types, but then I realized we’re in New Orleans where anything is possible. I want to be her friend and genuinely care for her, but she’s so hard to get to. She’s … cold.” Quincy said with a quiet sigh.

“I’m on my period now, but I don’t even wanna say it out cos I know mother would instantly take her blood for me,” Rosita said.

“Isn’t that risky for you?” Quincy asked. “I mean…if you don’t get transfused for one month.”

“She gave me her blood in a cup last month, and I still have some left to last me for the rest of the year. I’ll take a drop monthly, and I’ll manage,” Rosita confessed.

“Initially, I thought you were on the same level of cold with Skylar, but now I know you have a heart after all.” Quincy smiled.

“When did that thought start?” Rosita scoffed with an eye roll.

“When you made Roy bark like a dog!” Quincy laughed.

“You’re making me want to do it again. Roy is useless.” Rosita laughed slowly, still rubbing her neck. “By the way, what’s up with your sister? I’m really trying to not dislike her, but she’s a bitch. Is she adopted?”

“Never.” Quincy smiled. “We’re the only two childs of our parents, and if you see our parents, you’ve seen us cos we’re their carbon copies. Renee is just…not sociable.”

“Whatever.” Rosita started walking to her car, arms crossed.

“Are you going to the rave party tonight?” Quincy asked behind.

Before Rosita could reply, her phone cried in her pocket. She pulled it out with huge hope.

It was Blade, saved as Full Stop to avoid suspicions.

Full Stop: We meet at the rave. I miss you a lot.

She replied with a black heart emoji and faced Quincy.

“Yeah, I’m going to the rave.” She winked excitedly.

“Me too.” Quincy smiled back.

[Manhattan – Arden Global – Executive Top Floor]

Arturo had no plans to touch anything or do anything. His major goal here is to smile around and give words to the models, executives and the exclusive directors.

He established this company originally for the sake of El Crow anyways. Thirty years ago, he started work with only one thing in mind:

Have El Crow control it in the future.

El Crow had so many talents and hobbies as a child. He was a madly cheerful, joyful kid who’d put his mind on something and excel.

He saw horse riding in the movies and decided he was gonna master it.

He saw camping and car racing in the movies too, and he grew a liking for both. And he learned.

At 9, Arturo made sure he obtained a secret driving licence for him.

Hunting? He learnt that from his late grandpa who used to be fond of him.

But fighting career was what he inherited from Arturo as his father and Marisa as the mother.

He wanted to be like them—like Arturo, so he learned that too, and he became unbeatable.

But the only thing he didn’t see in the movies or learn from grandpa or learn from his parents…was fashion.

Fashion wasn’t an hobby for him. It was his talent and career.

He could wear a potato sack and still looked hot. He began styling himself as a kid, and it was nothing to just overlook because there was a time Arturo took him for cookies shopping spree and he drew the attention of two modelling gurus at the mall.

Arturo knew he had to take a step, so he took the step one by one till it became a modelling company which he named with the mixture of his own name and El Crow’s real name.

No living thing knew them as the owner. Even now, the world still think ARDEN belonged to a female.

But that’s the whole point.

The anonymity.

Arturo was sipping hot coffee as he strolled around the executive floor, smiling like a proud father. And he really is.

“Good morning, Founder. Last week’s NYC campaign was fabulous. Our first and last looks still occupy USA best-selling magazines and elite billboards. The nominations are insane! We’re choked with success!”

That statement came from one of the models in a studio room.

Arturo rewinded, lowering his coffee mug with a smug snicker.

The room was packed with the top models of ARDEN who all have grateful smiles on.

“Didn’t El do the casting himself? Any casting he’s involved in, you should know it’s a sure bet,” Arturo addressed.

“I think there’s a problem with the casting of the approaching fashion week, and now the casting director has been summoned to the CEOs office.” Another model informed.

“Seriously?” Arturo blinked, dropping his mug for the nearest model and rushed down the hallway.

Getting to the end, he saw the casting director rushing towards El Crow’s office with obvious panick.

“Poor him.” Arturo groaned. “Hope he doesn’t get fired.”

His phone beeped under his suit, and he stepped back to take it out.

“Jethro?” He sounded, contemplating on weather to pick or not.

Jethro was one of the people curious about his secret business.

Arturo had always hated the man, but now that they’re bound by El Crow’s relationship with Bellatrix, he couldn’t ignore the sly fox.

He picked the call.

“Prepare for a wedding in a week. No objections. Bellatrix will have your son next week. But beware that her surname is never changing. She’ll keep her surname. The only sign of marriage will be the ring she’d receive. Your son better prepare a huge rock for her finger,” Jethro poured the words endlessly.

“Copied.” Arturo nodded and ended the call, but now it’s hard.

He only told El Crow to date Bellatrix. He didn’t tell him there’d be a wedding. The El he knows is probably not even thinking of commitment.

So…what’s gonna happen?

He rested his head on the wall.

El Crow will never agree.

It’s absolute.

—

[CEO’s Office]

Carved from black-glass, sprinkled with limited lightbulbs, the broad office looked like a spacious representation of El Crow himself.

A large desk draped across him. He sat behind it, knuckles rested against the side of his head as he stared at the large flat-screened tablet in front of him, attached to the wall.

The casting lineup was staring right at him, but barely looking at it gave him headache. Still, he couldn’t stop looking, wondering the amount of negligence that birthed this.

The casting director came inside after giving the door a soft knock.

“Who approved the casting?” El Crow queried sleekly without turning to looked at him.

“I did.” The director nodded.

“And all the female models are of average height?” El Crow faced him with knotted brows. “Why is there no tall one in the lineup to balance the cast?” He queried continuously.

“The tall ones on the models list have all been used during last week’s campaign. I was thinking we shouldn’t repeat faces too much. It won’t speak well.” The director explained diligently.

“Are we short of models?” El Crow’s eyes turned cold. “Then go out there and scout! Scout for models! There are tall humans out there! Scout!”

“I get it, sir.” The director nodded once and stepped back.

“And inform the models. The conference starts by 11 and ends by 3. I have to be back in New Orleans by dusk.” El Crow added.

With another bow, the man left the office, and Arturo came in.

“What’s the sudden stuff with tall models?” He scoffed.

“You eavesdropping now?” El Crow swivelled his chair.

“No. But initially, you were more about their styling than their heights. Now you’re suddenly ranting about heights?” Arturo blinked.

El Crow looked away from his father, wondering what was going on too. Why was he concerned about the models heights than before?

“By the way…” Arturo sighed. “Petition to cancel Enigma just hit four thousand nine hundred. When it hits five thousand, we’re expected to get cancelled forever.”

“We’re going nowhere even if petitions hit a billion.” El Crow leaned forward. “Do they never learn? Has petitions ever worked?”

“It’s the New Orleans rave festival tonight…or is it rave party? We should do something to distract the streets. It’ll work,” Arturo said.

There was slicing silence, after which El Crow released a sigh.

“Leave it to me.”

“I trust you.” Arturo smiled and stepped back. “I’ll go prepare for the conference. You know I love hearing you lecture the models.”

El Crow hissed, and by the door, Arturo suddenly stopped…

“Actually…”

“Actually what?” El Crow stood. “You’re so fuckin annoying.”

“Nothing.” Arturo smiled, shaking his head before stepping out.

He actually wanted to tell him about the fixed wedding, but he lost his boldness at the last minute, so he had to withdraw.

“Shit. This is so funky…” He muttered as he walked away.

Inside the office, the styling assistant sent over the stylings proposal.

El Crow was supposed to check it out and make corrections before the conference, but he left his office and went to the executive suite on that same floor where he stripped himself and got under the shower.

As the water wet him, he felt his body calming little by little, and he kept increasing the water coldness like he wanted to turn to ice.

He needed this bath, because…

Since they arrived in this new City and he entered this office, his body jerked whenever he thought about what happened last night.

His brain and mind and sexual organ reacted everytime. Now he was rocky again.

He increased the water temperature, looking down at his length which was throbbing.

“If this is another sick game, inferno, you better fuckin stop!” He threatened like he could see him.

He’s soul-bond with Roselle, and she’s supposed to be the only one who’d be able to get him s+ually aroused.

So what’s going on?

Also, Skylar touched him sexually last night, but she’s still alive.

Again, what’s going on?

Lastly, his bed was on the truck ground last night, and he slept soundly without nightmares.

Why is that?

There are so many questions, and he hates questions. He hates getting curious. He hates working according to another person’s clock.

But now it was unavoidable.

He needed to talk to Inferno.

“Suck it…take it into your mouth..”

His moan from last night stormed his head again, and his back rested on the wall as his d+k stretched harder.

He wrapped his hand around it, giving himself a fast handjob.

Handjob would barely do anything. He needed a good pussy under him, but Skylar didn’t die doesn’t mean other girls won’t die if he f+ked them. So he managed the handjob.

Swear to hell…the next female he’d fû+k will get a broken hip with this abnormal s+x drive he’s getting.

His fluid shot out very hot to the bathroom floor.

“F+kkk!”

—

[New Orleans – Campsite]

It was nearly midday when Bellatrix woke up inside the camp truck. She was startled at first, unable to make out where she was, but after looking around confusedly a bit, she calmed and got up from the bed.

“He’s gone?” She uttered when she saw his own bedside was empty.

She must have clung to his scent, thinking it was him, and that’s why she slept that long without him.

It’s not her fault that she liked the way he smelled.

His scent was addictively good.

“He left hours ago … Before daybreak.” One of her guards informed quickly.

“What!” Her eyes widened, and she checked the time. “Few minutes to midday? What the….”

She quickly began gathering her shoes, arranging her hair.

While looking for the second shoe, she saw something in the middle of the clustered bedspread.

Taking it, she was surprised to see a necklace. His necklace.

The one with the small crow pendant.

“Maybe he left it for me…” She smiled dreamily and easily fixed it around her neck, rubbing it.

“We didn’t want to wake you, but now that you’re awake, we need to go, Young Miss.” Hey guards informed respectfully.

“Is something up?” She asked.

“The wedding date has been chosen…. between you and El Crow.” They further said.

If she had been happy before, then they meant nothing. This newfound happiness seniors the happinesses she has had all her life.

“Yes!!” She jumped before she knew it, nearly tripping.

“Young Miss!” The guards guided her, and she laughed cutely.

“Gawd…I’m getting married to El?” She touched his necklace on her neck. “Did he leave this here because he already knew about the wedding? Did he….fall for me already?”

“Young Miss….” The guards called her attention to the need to leave again.

She rushed out of the truck, and they followed her fast.

“Let’s go home, but we’re making a detour at Dread House. I need to see Skylar.” She said.

They didn’t argue.

They drove her away from the woods, straight to Dread House without hitch.

Skylar was just coming back from Ayana’s house, and they luckily met her by the park.

“Skylar!” Bellatrix jumped down from her car, rushing over. “Skylar! I knew you didn’t do it! I knew someone was probably trying to sabotage you! At first, I stupidly thought it was you…

“But then i’ve never seen you with helmet before, so I knew it couldn’t be you, but my guards forced me to say your name to my father. I knew you’d smartly exonerate yourself.”

Skylar gave her a empty look, not knowing what to even say to her.

She was too, too angry and terribly on edge right now. If she opened her mouth to talk, she’d hurt this Cinderella here, and the Cinderella would cry. But is it weird that she wants to make her cry right now?

Seeing her cry might ease her own frustrations.

“Bad girl, you’re not saying anything…” Bellatrix tried to touch her, but she shifted away.

“Are you ok?” Bellatrix asked.

“What do you wanna say?” Skylar asked lifelessly.

“I’m getting married to El in a week,” Bellatrix broke the news. “And I want you to be my only bridesmaid.”

Skylar’s mind instantly went back to last night when El Crow was moaning under the mercy of her handjob.

She nearly smirked.

Bridesmaid?

“We need to go now, miss!” The guards reminded her.

“Think about it, Bad girl! I’ll call you!” Bellatrix waved at her before rushing back to her car, riding off.

Skylar remained in that park, watching as the car drove off.

The news of this wedding was like fuel to her despair fire. She hates good news at a time like this.

She hated the smile on Bellatrix’s face. The happiness and all.

She wanted to ruin it.

Gawd…she needed something to soak away this nipping moodiness.

Her phone made a sound, and che checked the new text…

From Quincy.

• Rave party is tonight. It’s a party for gays, but what’s the fun if we can’t go and crash it. Please let’s go.

Skylar smiled cruelly.

She needed this.

She’d surely go.

Now, nighttime needed to come quicker.

She entered the house quickly.

Few minutes later, Quincy arrived and literally rushed inside, taking two stairs at a time, up to middle tier.

He tried to open Renee’s room.
It was locked.

“Renee! C’mon I know you’re in there!” He knocked, breaths rushing through his chest so much he choked.

No answer.

“Renee, if I forcefully open this door, you won’t like the punishment that comes after it.” He knocked again.

Silence.

Quincy took a step back, drew in a huge breath and rushed back down to the storage room.

When he came back later, he held a sledgehammer which he didn’t have to use twice. The moment he slammed it down on the lock, the front lock flew apart.

He dumped the hammer and went inside, locking the back lock.

Renee stood on top of her bed, panting, raging.

“You were….”

“I don’t wanna hear your words, Renee…” He cut in and hoisted her in one strong grip.

She landed in bed.

When she tried to struggle against his strength, he held her wrists together on top of her head and pinned it.

“You laughed when Skylar called me a bi+ch!” She shouted.

“You called her a bitch first, and I didn’t laugh, I merely giggled!” He slapped her thighs apart.

“You could have stayed back with me when I decided not to go, but you still went with them!” She shouted.

He didn’t answer. Instead, he focused on driving his hand between her legs, pulling off her underwear.

“Quincy!” Her breaths rushed. “Quincy! You’re…”

“You’ll learn to know that Skylar is my friend, and you can’t get jealous of my friend! Your body is mine, not Skylar’s! Your body!” He yelled.

Her eyes widened when he reached for her hair straightener on the vanity table.

He widened her legs.

“Quincy! Quin…

She couldn’t call it completely. He inserted one end of the straightener into her cunt, and since it’s a wireless one working with batteries, he turned it on and is began making w vibrating sound inside her.

It entered her easily, fucking her cunt with unmatchable intensity.

“Quincy!” She grabbed the bedspread.

“Quin…Quin….”

She wanted to close her thighs, but he slapped them apart again.

The straightener entered her more. Her c+nt sucked it inside.

“Quin….cy!” She vibrated with the straightener, body shaking, eye rolling, legs trembling.

“Skylar is my friend. You will not get jealous of her anymore…say it!” He shouted strictly, darkly.

“Big brother, I will not….get…jealous of….ahhhhhh my cl+t !!!!”

Her juices spilled.

—

[Enigma House]

At half past 6, almost all Enigmas were ready to leave for the rave.

Anything to take their minds off the cancellation that was threatening to befall them. In few hours, the petition signatures would be complete. Maybe this rave would be their last gathering as a team.

Everyone wore their best fits.

But no one was smiling.

Lovato made sure to wear Bishop’s favorite fit of hers.

The day she wore a really short romper to the grill, she remembered Bishop complimented that she looked good, so she wore it again.

She used glasses too, though her eyes weren’t bad. She used glasses.

For him.

She used her belt bag, and she went over to his suite first, but he wasn’t there. It was empty.

She rushed down that floor and decided to go to Blade’s suite to check for him, but when she went past Boss Arturo’s office, she noticed the lights were on, so she went in.

Castle sat on Arturo’s desk, alone in the office. He was just there.

Weirdly.

“Senior Castle?” She stepped in, adjusting her dress. “What are you doing here all alone?”

Castle stood.

“You look good…in that romper and glasses.” He pointed with a smile.

Head coloured her cheeks immediately.

“Knew you’d like it…” She tapped the tip of her shoe on the floor, slipping her hair to the back of her ear.

Castle left the desk and strode towards her, fast.

Thinking it was time for another kiss, she shut her eyes and puckered her lips, waiting for it.

Nothing.

When she opened her eyes, Castle was gone from the office.

He actually walked out?

Shamefully, she left the office too.

Outside, she met him with the others.

Bishop and Blade and Kent.

Bishop wanted to say hi, but immediately he saw how hard she was staring at Castle, he gave up.

“Heyy! Best friend!” Kent hung his arm around Lovato.

“Huh?” She sounded sheepish.

“You look ugly in these glasses!” He removed it immediately.

“Give it to me!” She snatched it and wore it back quick.

She wasn’t gonna let him ruin what Castle liked. Castle said it fitted her, and it definitely does.

“Why would I even go to the rave? It’s for gays!” Castle complained.

“C’mon! El said he’d meet us there!” Blade encouraged. “This might be our last gathering as a team!”

“El is returning today too? I thought only Boss Arturo was returning,” Castle said surprisingly.

“Can we go now?” Bishop said, leading the way out.

Though, seeing Lovato ogling at Castle was like a heart stab to him, but what can be done?

He locked up.

—

[Jethro’s House]

Satan and Midnight were present again, and this time, it was for the wedding preparations.

Jethro wasn’t planning a grand wedding. He wanted a private wedding with only his exclusive business associates in attendance.

The two weddings would be just one day apart. He’d get married to Skylar on the 15th. El Crow would get married to Bellatrix on the 16th.

The wedding dress designers came to the house to take Bellatrix’s measurement by themselves.

They used the living room too, and as Bellatrix turned around, letting them take measurements with the tape, she was grinning from ear to ear.

She just knew she’d look majestic like a queen in this dress.

And her husband would look hot.

And her bridesmaid would be s+xy.

Jethro was smiling as he stared at his smiling daughter. He beamed.

“See, nothing gladdens me than seeing my bambolina happy. I’d kill anyone who tries to take that happiness away. She’s the best gift my late wife gave me…the most beautiful girl I’m this country.”

“Of course she is,” Satan agreed, tendering the paper she held.

It contained Skylar’s measurements.

She had told the blind cleaning woman to take Skylar’s measurements from her clothes, and they’ll be using it to sew the wedding dress. The woman took Skylar’s shoe measurements from her sneakers too.

They’ll be getting the wedding shoes with that. The finger measurement was taken from her boxing gloves.

Everything was set now, except for the wedding announcement.

“The wedding announcements will go out tommorow.” Jethro informed.

“How it going about the real attacker of your daughter?” Midnight asked.

“He’s already a known person, but you know I love seasoning my preys before catching them. Let him think he’s free for now,” Jethro said.

“And Skylar’s replacement?” Satan asked. “I mean…the little kid.”

“She’s still on my men’s search list. So long she’s in this city, she’ll soon be found,” Jethro answered.

“Arturo is here, air!” A staff reported.

“Arturo?” Satan stood.

“I don’t care if you both are enemies!” Jethro shouted. “I’m getting married to your team ace, and my daughter is getting married to his son, so you better sit and follow my words!”

Satan sat back, swallowing her rage.

Arturo was led in, and he made sure to sit as far from Satan as possible.

He still hadn’t told El Crow about this wedding. Even throughout their three hours flight back, he tried several times and failed.

“You need to know my daughter is Apex blood, Arturo, and the moment she gets married to your son, protecting her will become your duty. I’m sure you know about the prehistoric blood types.” Jethro informed, locking eyes with Arturo.

“Almost everyone in this city knows about those strange blood types. I’m just surprised my daughter-in-law is Apex. Does that not mean she needs ApexPlus to survive beyond twenties?” Arturo said.

“She’ll only need ApexPlus if she was a blood bank like Skylar. But even if she doesn’t need ApexPlus, I still want him for her. I mean…no other Apex deserves ApexPlus in this world but my daughter. When she finds him, he’ll become her second husband along with your son.” Jethro said arrogantly, relaxing.

Arturo’s mood twitched for a minute before he balanced back.

“Any idea where the ApexPlus could be?” Satan asked curiously.

“The bastard has been hiding for years, but it’s only a matter of time before he comes out,” Jethro said.

—

[Rave Grounds – 7PM]

The rave always happened in a warehouse, but this year, the rogues decided it was happening inside a maize farm in the woods.

The maize stems were curled with strings of tiny yellow ghost face bulbs. The grounds weren’t wet despite the incessant rain in this city. The organizers made sure to dry up some grass for the grounds.

Boys and men couple strolled around hand in hand, holding solo cups of alcohol or cheap wine provided by the rogues. But despite the fact that it was strictly addressed as a gay party, females crashed it once again.

Music played from unseen speakers, and at the early hours of the rave, drunk bodies were already dropping. Beneath trees and corn stems, people gathered in groups to either talk or do a group harem f+k where one girl would be shared by several men.

It was dark here.

Quincy and Renee came hand in hand, both wearing their cowboy hats and holding their alcohol cups with the other hands.

She could still fell the shove of the straightener inside her c+nt, but it doesn’t matter. She enjoyed it.

Next time, he could use a screwdriver on on her, or a gun.

“Should we look for Skylar first? Or Rosita?” He asked.

“Anyone.” She rested her head against his arm as they entered the crowd.

Right after them, Blade appeared. He came with his buddies from Enigma House, but he had to sneak away from them in search of Rosita.

She texted that she’d be somewhere around here, so he came.

He was turning around on a spot, searching deep in the corn farm till he knocked into someone.

“F+k! I’m so so—”

“Shh!” Rosita quickly placed a finger on his lips, pulling him by the jacket.

They both fell on a pile of fresh corn leaves where lights didn’t reach.

Condoms fell out of her pocket as he caught her lips deeply into his mouth.

“I missed you….”

“More….Blade…” She breathed him in, pushing against his body as he tossed them, coming on top.

When Roy and Roselle appeared about that area, they were heavily arguing, and the winner was obvious.

Roy was literally begging.

But she was screaming at him.

“She said she touched him! She threw it at my face that she touched him!”

She was crying as she talked.

“I tried to sabotage her, but she somehow got out of it! I dunno how she did it!” Roy explained.

“You’re not man enough!” Roselle argued painfully. “If you’re a man, you should know when a girl wants you to fight her battles!”

“I’m a man, and that’s why I’m still in my right senses! You want another man but you want me to fight for you! I respect you a lot and that’s why I’m still here so stop treating me like a fool cos I’m not!” Roy snapped.

Roselle’s frown formed.

“What did you just…”

Away from them, down the farm, the rest of Enigmas are seated in a circle, just drinking and awaiting El Crow.

The rave hasn’t even started. The lights are still on now. When the proper hot rave starts at 8, lights would go off and games would start.

In that circle, Lovato couldn’t stop trying to share Castle’s drink with him, but he kept resisting, telling her she couldn’t hold her alcohol.

“You can cough in the alcohol and I’d still drink.” She laughed.

Castle gave her a weird look and then checked his time.

When is El coming?

Kent and Bishop are busy discussing about the chances of their team cancelation tonight, so Bishop wasn’t even looking at Lovato.

At their right side, not far from them, Skylar stood in the middle of a unintentionally round corn stems.

She arrived at this rave even faster than the organizers, and she had been drinking since then.

It was rare to get her drunk, but she’s currently drunk. She drank four bottles of beer already.

She was holding the fifth one.

She looked like she just finished looking at death face-to-face with the way her eyes kept trying to push out of their sockets. She swayed.

Where would she even start from?

Where’s the ApexPlus male?

How would she…

Escape?

She convinced herself only stupid people get killed, but now she wasn’t so sure anymore.

What if she really dies?

Without meeting her family.

She lifted the bottle to her lips for another drink, but then she saw something. Something fkew away from one of the corn stems.

She dropped her bottle and immediately followed it, bumping into people and receiving curses and pushes and yells, but she didn’t care.

She focused on what she was chasing.

The fly perched on a bulb in the ground, and she squatted beside the bulb, watching it with drunk eyes.

It’s a moth.

Same fly that cocaineboy asked her the Italian translation at the music shop that day.

“Moth….” She sniffled, eyes drowsy and sleepy, and tired.

But then…a new presence squatted in front of her, obstructing the lights from reaching her face.

She smelled rainfall.

She hated it instantly.

The moth didn’t leave.

It remained there, wings flapping softly as she looked up to a pair of ringed brows and stitched mouth.

He wasn’t looking at the moth. He was looking at her expressionlessly as he said just one word…

“Falena….”

TBC.
