[Next Day – Marisa’s Manor]

Skylar looked out of breaths and energy as she lay on the floor of Marisa’s fighting ring, staring at the dark low ceilings which looked like they’d fall on her anytime soon.

The ceilings were designed to be like that. It always looked like it’s threatening you that if you refuse to get up and get serious, it’d come crashing down on your face.

“I’ll never get used to this shit,” Skylar whispered, mouth weak too.

She came here since daybreak, and she’s been training with Marisa extensively without stop.

Marisa was stricter today. She didn’t even allow a sip of water.

It was nothing short of a do or die.

Maybe because it’s their last training session before the championship.

Tonight would be the night one of the tournament, featuring Quincy and Bishop and four other sets.

Skylar won’t be entering the ring with El Crow till two days to come which is the last tournament day, but Marisa said today would be the last training so she’d rest with tommorow.

Skylar pushed another hot breaths out of her lungs, remembering the deal she made with the stitchmouth.

Touch his c+k.

No idea where that came from, but she couldn’t take it back the moment it left her mouth, and his reply was DEAL. So it’s a deal now.

And she still has no idea what to do with his c+k if she touches it.
Maybe twist it to get back at him for jumping her window to show it to her?

But honestly, the thought of twisting it hadn’t crossed her mind.

What she’d do to it would present itself when she sees the c+k again.

Marisa also promised to tell her the identity of the only person who knows her origin in this city if she could defeat El Crow.

So she has to win.

And then there’s Jethro Ortega—Bellatrix’s father.

She heard about his shadiness, but the explosives at the mixer Hall just proved it right.

It was his mixer in that tightly secured hall, so if there’s anyone who set those explosives, it’s him, but why would he even set explosives?

People are so strange in this city.

God knows how he got to be the father of a dove like Bellatrix.

She took another breathe into her lungs, then she pushed herself up. She stood and leaned on the surrounding ring ropes.

“You finally decided to get up?” Marisa said as she entered the hall, wearing same thing as Skylar again.

A really short tights that flaunted their ass cheeks and a singlet.

“You were stricter today. It’s only normal I got exhausted.” Skylar shook her head, getting out.

“You do squats?” Marisa asked when she noticed her petite curves.

“Yeah.” Skylar shrugged. “I do every type of workout you can think of.”

“Keep it up.” Marisa smiled. “I’d love your curves to come out more. It’d drive men crazier.”

“I’m not working out for men.” Skylar frowned. “I work out for myself cos I want a really banging body.”

Marisa went silent for a beat, then she chuckled like a proud mother.

“Exactly what I expected you to say. You’ve never disappointed me.”

“And I’ll never,” Skylar assured.

The female steward came in with a tray containing two tea cups and few pieces of black cookies.

“You told us to shift the Enigma House attack, and I’ve shifted everything to after the tournament,” The steward informed smoothly.

“Yeah.” Marisa picked a cookie, taking a bite. “I have the tournament to focus on now. I’ll launch my revenge after the tournament.”

The steward took a bow and left.

“Revenge?” Skylar queried.

“Arturo and his son ruined my banquet. I haven’t forgotten, and they’ll pay. I never let go,” Marisa uttered, taking another bite.

“When you say it like that, people would think he’s not your son,” Skylar mentioned.

“I don’t see him as my son anymore. I told you clearly.” Marisa’s face squeezed dangerously.

“But you always eat cookies anytime I come here,” Skylar motioned at the cookies with her head. “I heard he’s obsessed with cookies too.”

“We both like cookies don’t mean I still see him as my son!” Marisa slammed her palm on the table, getting up angrily. “The wet nurse I hired for him when he was a baby fed him cookies so much he couldn’t do without it even as he grew up. But I’ve liked cookies since young!”

Skylar nodded, deciding not to probe further to avoid provoking her.

Marisa sat back, rubbing her temples slowly.

“Sorry I yelled. I’m just….” She sniffled, reaching for Skylar’s hand as tears leaked out of her eyes. “Skylar…you have no idea how hurtful it is to be lied on by your own son. I don’t even know how to handle a scissors so how could I cut him? He traumatized me with those lies.”

“I’ve promised to defeat him at the tournament. You can rest assured.” Skylar looked her in the eye.

Marisa wiped her tears, sniffling.

“I trust you, but your heartache? You once told me you get heartache close to him and—”

“I have that under control during the tournament. Heartache isn’t gonna happen at all.” Skylar promised.

“Good to hear!” Marisa spranged up. “Then, should we move to strategy?”

“Strategy?” Skylar stood too.

She took her tea mug and drained to half before dropping the mug.

“Yeah.” Marisa blinked. “Strategy. This tournament would be different from all others. This one won’t be a draw where the streets will have no choice but to give you both the championship belts. This is a match you must win at all costs.”

“I know.” Skylar shrugged.

“Your own sharp skills and the moves I’ve been teaching you would surely last you till the end of the first half. The first half will end in a draw, I can feel it, but the second half? That’s when the real deal is. That’s when you have to up your points, and I’m ready to help with that.” Marisa explained with a serpent-like glint at the corner of her eyes.

“What do you mean by help?” Skylar’s brows rose.

“Don’t worry.” Marisa smiled. “I have everything prepared. You just do your best and leave the rest for me.”

Skylar looked confused, but she didn’t ask questions.

All she knows is that she’ll enter that ring and emerge as the winner.

Her phone buzzed, and she picked it up, frowning when she saw it’s an unknown number.

She swiped green anyways.

“Yes?” She coldly said.

“Geez!” Bellatrix’s voice boomed cheerfully. “You even sound colder on phone. Can you tone it down?”

“Trix?” Skylar’s frown faded. “How did you get my number?”

“You forget who my father is?” Bellatrix said. “I only had to tell him to find me my best girl’s number, and it didn’t even take him a minute!”

“Right.” Skylar rolled eyes.

“Bad girl, I can’t wait to watch your match in two days! I’m bubbling with excitement cos I’ll come to watch with my Dad!”

“Are you sure it’s me you’re coming to watch or your boyfriend?” Skylar rolled eyes again.

“Maybe it’s you both.”

“And choose between me and your boyfriend the winner you want. Of course it’s your boyfriend.” Skylar rolled eyes for the third time.

Why is she rolling her eyes so much today? No answer to that.

“Come on!” Bellatrix urged. “Fine, it won’t be bad if he won, but it won’t be bad if you win too. I’m supporting you both, trust me!”

“Of course.” Skylar sighed.

“I’ll see you in the underground in two days!” Bellatrix gushed.

Skylar hung up first.

“Is that Jethro’s daughter?” Marisa asked behind her.

Skylar nodded.

“Careful,” Marisa warned. “Don’t get entangled with any of Jethro’s close aides. He’s tricky.”

“I know, and I’ll be careful,” Skylar responded concisely.

Few minutes later, she left the manor, and Marisa left the private ring for her piano room.

She didn’t even sit before starting to press the keys repeatedly.

No particular order. She just pressed any key, face blank as she put pressure on all fingers.

“Ma, I’m glad your plan is coming to shape,” The male steward’s voice said behind her.

“I can’t wait for the plan to actually materialize,” The female added.

Marisa didn’t turn, but she heard them, and she finally let a expression take over her face.

It wasn’t joy or sadness.

It was grief.

“Prepare my dress against that night. And the heels too. Get the dress ironed so smooth and sharp till it’d nearly cut heads,” She ordered.

The stewards ran upstairs.

—

[Enigma House – Training Lab]

Bishop and the other three Enigmas who’d be entering the ring tonight are the owners of the lab.

They’ve owned it since daybreak, and now at 5PM when the first night would soon start, they still didn’t leave, and they looked too prepared their confidence was contagious.

Bishop took a napkin to wipe his face sweat, but Lovato snatched it from him and climbed a chair to match his height. She wiped for him.

“I still can’t believe the best female fighter in this team is also the shortest,” He teased.

She puffed the napkin at his face, and he laughed shortly.

“Bishop is actually laughing?” Blade commented surprisingly.

“I’m in shock too!” Kent chuckled. “Maybe because he’s sure he’s gonna beat Quincy seriously.”

“I doubt if he’d spent ten minutes in that ring. Quincy is the most useless middle tier in Team Dread. Him and his sister, I don’t know who’s more useless. Their Boss Satan should demote them to low tier.” Lovato chirped.

“You’re so arrogant.” Kent laughed.

“What’s Vato without arrogance?” Blade pushed her forehead.

Bishop smiled.

“I promise I’ll scream the loudest for you tonight, ok?” Lovato promised.

Bishop nodded with another smile, and she gave him a light hug.

He quickly hugged her back.

“Why the fuck does he look so happy tonight?” Castle muttered.

He stood by the lab wall with El Crow.
While he smoked, El Crow ate cookies and drank cocoa juice.

“It’s rare for Bishop to be happy. He’s the most gloomy Enigma in this house,” Castle added.

“Are you gonna go tear the smile off his face?” El Crow said.

“Can you communicate like a real human being for once?” Castle groaned with a low hiss. “You could just say oh, I’ve never seen Bishop this happy before too.”

“I don’t know the mood of anybody in this team.” El Crow smirked nonchalantly. “Damn, I don’t even understand my own moods so just…. jump off it.”

“Why am I even talking to you?” Castle gave him a look, blowing cigar smokes to his face.

“Stop it!” El Crow snatched the cigar from him and threw it off angrily. “You don’t blow me smokes like that!”

Castle swallowed, eyes slightly wide.

“Why do you hate cigarettes and alcohol so much, dude?”

“I’m not explaining my choices to you.” El Crow stated.

“Fine,” Castle nodded. “But why did you tell me to set ropes with gum on Skylar’s window that day?”

“I’m not explaining that to you too.” El Crow stated, colder.

“Geez!” Castle shook his head. “I think I understand why you never get along with your father. You’re so damn frustrating.”

With that, he left him.

El Crow inhaled and pulled his phone out of his pocket.

A message from his secret business was waiting there for him, but he didn’t bother opening it.

Not in the mood.

He went to his online search engine, and before he knew it, he typed BLACK CHERRY.

The search results gave him everything he needed to know about the fragrance, and be began reading.

But not for long.

His reading was interrupted when Arturo entered the lab.

“Boss!!!!!!!!!” Most of the Enigmas screamed at the top of their voices like they’re just seeing him for the very first time.

Arturo raised his arms proudly, and they converged around him.

Except El Crow.

He remained where he stood and went back to his reading.

“We lost the last match like y’all know,” Arturo started.

“And I’m still sorry for that.” Blade quickly talked.

Arturo placed a palm on his shoulder. “It’s fine, Blade. One loss doesn’t mean the end of the world, and that’s why this tournament has to work in our favor. Did y’all check the bettors list yet? We only got Jethro and his daughter on our side, and that’s because Jethro’s daughter is El’s girlfriend. But they’re also on Team Dread side cos Jethro and Satan have a connection. We have to work hard if this is going to work.”

“I won’t disappoint,” Bishop promised.

“Yes! He won’t!” Lovato supported.

Bishop smiled brightly again.

Castle looked at the two of them and pocketed his hands uncomfortably.

—

[Enigma House]

It was almost time to move to the underground and start the night.

In five minutes, the team would be meeting with Satan at the lab for her last words of warning.

Quincy sat on the edge of his bed, looking perplexed and unsure.

Yeah, the cleaning woman hadn’t relented on the trainings since three days ago, but he was still so unsure of what to expect from this match.

He checked the time.

Four minutes before meeting with Boss Satan.

His anxiety rose.

He’s going against Bishop. That quiet gloomy Enigma guy.

Of course he’s wary.

He refused to let suckers suck him because he knew Renee would get jealous, but where is she now?

His phone made a familiar sound, and when he checked…

It’s a clean, large, wet picture of Renee’s pussy, sent by Renee herself.

A message was attached…

Little Sister: You don’t have to win, but just prove that you’ve improved. That’s all Boss Satan wants to see. And you see that p+sy? It’s all yours if you impress me in the ring.

He stood from the bed immediately, folding his palm on the phone.

A smile crept to his lips, and a knock landed on his door.

He rushed there and opened, only to see Skylar there, stern.

“Skylar!” He breathed out.

“Even if you don’t win, you only have to make Satan or Midnight notice your brilliance in the ring. Get their attention, and you’re good.”

“I’ll do that, Skylar.” He nodded. “Thanks for everything.”

Skylar didn’t talk anymore.

She just folded her arms and walked down the corridor.

“Cold ass bitch.” Quincy smiled in admiration.

Skylar went down the middle tier corridor only to come across Rosita at the large mingling lobby.

“You actually entered Middle Tiers floor?” Rosita shook her head. “Whoever made you enter that place must be so lucky. The Skylar I know is too proud to step middle tier.”

“My business is like your cup of tea these days, and it’s boring,” Skylar said without waiting.

She walked past her, but Rosita intentionally followed her.

On top of the Top Tier floor, Roselle stood with Roy beside her like a guard.

“Guess your twin is getting along with that bitch these days,” Roy hissed. “When I remember she actually made me bark like a dog, I get mad.”

Roselle faced him.

“I’ll help you punish Rosita if you can just speed up Bellatrix’s punishment.”

“I’m working on it. Continue trusting me.” Roy nodded.

They both went downstairs to the training lab where everyone already assembled.

Immediately they entered, Satan entered too, with Midnight.

“It’s the first tournament this year. Second one comes in August and last one by December, and like y’all know, this first one is the simplest, the foundation. I expect all hands on deck,” Satan said.

As she talked, she rubbed her bird-shaped wristwatch.

“Bring me honour, not shame. Be perfect, till the end. I won’t do a separate addressing for tomorrow or the last day, so listen up.” Midnight added, and all attention went to him.

“Skylar Vox!” He snapped.

Skylar came to view on top of a table where she was chewing gum at.

“You’re the highlight of this match on the third day, and if you go down the way you went down one month ago, then you have no idea what’s coming for you. Even your connection with Marisa won’t save you.”

Skylar blew balloon with her bubble gum, smirking while doing it.

Rosita laughed secretly.

—

[Montgomery Nurseries]

A small river spread at the backwoods of the nursery where the older kids go to swim at times.

At nights like this, crickets creep and fireflies blink around the environs, and that’s exactly what pulled Eden to the place, tonight.

She sat beside the river and gathered stones in her palms which she threw at the river.

Sadness wouldn’t even start describing her emotions. She looked like all hope had been stripped off. She had asked her caregiver to help her give El Crow a call, but the caregiver simply waved her off.

She wondered how El Crow was doing right now. Is he asleep?

She wondered how cold Skylar was faring too. Is she asleep too?

Or maybe they’re both fighting again, but at the top of her mind, she wished they’d come see her soon.

She misses them both.

Her stomach rumbled with hunger, and she quickly scooped some water from the river, drinking.

She was still drinking when she heard a rustle behind.

She stood quickly.

Lights from the nursery building reached the river, so she clearly saw the faces of the bullies.

Her food bullies.

“What are you doing here? Won’t you go for dinner?” Their leader queried.

“Y’all pathetic bad guys will take the dinner from me anyways. I’m going nowhere,” she brushed her strands of hair away from her face.

“Pathetic?” They frowned.

Eden ignored them. She faced the river again, and three of them immediately rushed her.

They came for her, but they weren’t successful, cos there was a crash.

A sick, loud thud.

Their toes actually curled with some tangled grass, and they fell.

All three of them. They fell and rolled into the river, and worse..

They couldn’t swim.

Eden watched as they struggled in the river, beating the waters and screaming for help.

A dark smile tugged at her lips.

She’s the one who tangled the grass together and set the trap.

Luckily, they fell in it.

—

[Underground Ring]

“Quincy!!!!!!!!!!!”

“Quincy!!!!!!!!!”

“Go for it!!!”

“That’s how you do it!!!”

It was the reign of Quincy in the ring tonight. The first three matches have been concluded, and the matches count is now 3-3

Enigma – 3

Dread – 3

Both teams aren’t letting their guards down. And this fourth match would determine tonight’s winner.

Quincy seemed to be killing it.

His moves tonight have been extraordinary. He cornered all Bishop’s attacks and achieved most of his comebacks like he had been preparing for this night all his life.

Team Dread were going crazy over him especially Renee.

In the middle of the middle tiers benches, she was losing her mind, and her pussy was beating as she watched her brother dominate.

“He improved. I’m impressed.” Rosita said beside Skylar.

Skylar said nothing. Her eyes were on the ring, calculating.

Yes, Quincy has been dominating, but Bishop’s quietness is suspicious.

Bishop isn’t easy. He’s one of Enigma House top Tier for a big reason.

Rosita’s eyes went to the side, and she saw Blade with Enigmas.

They exchanged secret smiles.

At the last minute, Bishop rose from a fall and gave Quincy a really disturbing smile.

“Bro, you tried, and you definitely improved. But it’s time to rest now,” He muttered, and the moment the last minute bell rang, he swung himself up to the side, body in the air and his whole weight came crashing violently into Quincy’s face.

Quincy went down, and not even the messiah could make him stand.

The crowd went quiet, and after three seconds interval, the roar resumed, but for Bishop.

“Bishop!!!!!!!”

“Enigma owns the night!!!!”

“Holy motherf+ker!!!!”

Lovato was nearly running mad.

“I knew he was only playing with Quincy since the start!!!”

She made to rush into the ring to give him a hug, but Castle held her.

“You can’t keep running around.”

“You’re right.” She smiled. “But I’m proud of Bishop, really.”

“Me too.” Castle nodded.

Blade and Kent and the rest of the team bursted into the ring though, showering Bishop with praises and deafening hailing.

Medics took unconscious Quincy away. Renee followed them with a run. “You already proved your improvement. I’m impressed!”

“El Crow!!!! I did it!” Bishop screamed.

El Crow looked up from his corner with slanted brows.

He was reading about Black Cherry before he heard his name.

He drank from his bottled water and let out a chuckle. “Rascal.”

The night ended like that.

Enigma 4

Dread 3.

—

[Next Night]

The night started exactly like yesterday. Only difference is that team Dread already covered their losses from last night.

In the first three matches, they equalized and even topped.

Now it’s 5-6

Enigma – 5

Dread – 6

The last game for the night was already ongoing with Lovato and Roselle in the ring.

And hate to hell, it was tougher than last night’s final match.

Both girls look like they’ve been dragged through hell and back already. Roselle’s punches were bitingly violent like iron fists.

But Lovato’s elbowing was also venomous like a nest of snakes.

It looked like they were trying to revenge on each other.

It was so obvious.

Roselle’s bralette has been torn by Lovato, and now her under b👀bs were showing, but she didn’t care.

She gripped Lovato’s neck from behind, squeezing it so tight Lovato released snot from her nose as they both went on their knees.

The crowd paused.

Bishop held his breaths.

It’s only few minutes left for them to decide a winner. Else, this match would be declared a draw and both teams would take the win.

Tears gushed out of Lovato’s eyes too, but she was able to brush her elbow back twice. The moment Roselle let go of her, she kneeled Roselle in her ass, then she bashed her head against the ring floor, hard.

Roselle saw stars, but she blinked them off quickly and went for Lovato again, snatching her br+sts.

She squeezed like she’d burst them.

“Agghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!”

“What unexpected move is that?” Rosita muttered.

“Unexpected? It’s dumb.” Skylar sighed, looking dissatisfied. “Their match is boring as f+k.”

Lovato yanked Roselle off, then they both came for each other again, smashing their foreheads on each other twice consecutively.

They both staggered sideways before falling flat on the floor.

The last bell rang, announcing the match as a decided draw.

Both teams got equal points.

The night ended.

Enigma – 6

Dread – 7

— — — —

[Third Day (Championship) – Enigma Preparatory room]

El Crow flexed his neck and knuckles after putting on his puffed gloves. He drank another mouthful of water.

For some reason, he drinks water a lot even without eating anything.

His phone buzzed with message from his secret business again.

He’s highly needed in that place, but his mood is still the same. He’s going nowhere till the end of this night.

After tonight too, he’s gonna have to go see how that kid is doing at the nursery.

Thinking of having to see Skylar’s pink pierced part was gearing him, and the fact that his team fate now relies totally on him.

He got his spray bottle and sprayed himself once again. The amount of perfume he has been wasting since last week is crazy. Their company should compensate him.

He left the room confidently, only to meet all of his team members waiting with hope etched heavily on their faces.

“Son.” Arturo sighed, holding both his shoulders carefully.

He’s much taller than Arturo, so Arturo had to look up.

“The point for this match is 4. We need that 4 to get to 10. If Dreads get that 4 and reach 11, they’ll break the scale and you know what that means.” He explained.

El Crow said nothing. He just moved down the corridor.

“Someone guess what that wacko is thinking,” Kent said.

“No idea, but his perfume is more choky tonight.” Lovato said.

They left the corridor in groups, and that was when Skylar came out of Dreads preparatory.

She wore her ring gear this time with the teeth protection. The gear is extremely micro shorts and micro singlet.

Color red.

“I believe in you.” Rosita gave her a raised rounded fist.

“Don’t come out of that ring if you don’t win,” Midnight said.

Satan said nothing, but her empty eyes were enough words.

Quincy is still hospitalized. That last move from Bishop did him so bad so he’d need some time to recuperate.

He’s not here.

And the rest of the team don’t even like her. Eg, Roselle and Roy and others, so Skylar turned around.

She walked out.

The moment the stars of the night showed up in the ring, the underground became a warfront with the screams of the crowd acting as flying spears and arrows.

It was so crowdy some even had to create spaces in the high ceilings to watch the night unfold.

So many VIP were present tonight. So many rich men who loves violence. Their shadowed curtains are all elevated with metal bars.

But Jethro’s curtains still remained the largest with his daughter beside him.

Bellatrix hadn’t panicked like this before all her life. It’s her boyfriend and best girl in that ring, and she’s scared.

She had texted El Crow before the start of the match.

• I wish you well, baby.

She texted Skylar too.

• Go girl.

But none of them replied to her, and now seeing them in the ring, she felt torn between relationships.

But beside her, Jethro was composed. He looked too composed it was almost suspicious.

But he’s the most eagar person in this underground tonight.

Skylar stepped into the ring first.

She was already leaning on the ropes before El Crow entered.

He wore his teeth protection too, but no helmets. They both refused helmets. Their scents choked them the moment they reached the ring, and truly, it blocked out all sense of hate from both their heads.

They might have made a deal, but in this ring, there was no familiarity. It was a battleground where each bloated with winning hopes.

The bell came, and the night started when they lunged for each other like determined alphas.

It wasn’t easy from the very first minute. El Crow’s punch was Skylar’s first food that night.

It sliced across her jaw, and her gums shook as her eyes dwindled, but she wasn’t gonna let it rest.

Her backhand worked towards his chin, and his head nearly flew off his neck when it landed.

From that first move of hers, he knew she took extra trainings. Her landing was much more sharper.

It was crazier.

His body twisted, and when it untwisted, he got a hold of her, lifted her up and smashed her to the floor, but immediately she landed, she squeezed herself between his legs and sent her calf to his back, nearly breaking his backbone in two.

He surged forward, and when she tried to lift him up like he did her, he wriggled free and rushed three kicks at her ribcage. She fell against the ropes and her body ricocheted.

He threw himself against the ropes to smash her head on the strings, but she left there fast and when he got there, she sent his head to the strings instead, and blood bloomed.

Surprisingly, no sound came from the crowd at all.

They were probably holding their breaths cos these two aren’t smiling.

El Crow’s blow connected with her right eye—twice.

He slammed her against the floor—twice too. They his knees fell on her backbone, pounding it.

“Fuck!!!!” She made the first sound, and his fist slammed against her face, smashing it to the floor.

“Shit!” Rosita stood.

“Oh my goodness!” Bellatrix stood in the curtain too.

El Crow’s third blow met Skylar’s face, and her mouth bursted with blood, but instead of crying out, she laughed dementedly.

Getting up, she threw herself over the strings, and from there, her legs claimed his neck, throwing him out of the ring completely.

By the time he stood and came back, the second half started.

No rest.

The announcers didn’t allow it.

The crowd was still silent.

Skylar’s spinning kick hooked his neck. El Crow crashed forward, them back to the back. He received another blow in the neck, but he returned that to her stomach. Skylar returned it to his groin, and he returned it to his face too, taking blood from him.

The crowd gasped.

“This is brutal…” Bellatrix began crying.

“I knew this would be interesting.” Jethro laughed.

El Crow prepared his next launch for Skylar’s face, but that was when things changed completely.

A spotlight suddenly came on in the crowd spot, shinning directly on the one person that’s unexpected.

Marisa.

Her female steward stood by her right side and the make stood left.

She wore that gemmed dress again, and worse part was that she held a scissors.

Same one she used that night years ago. El Crow’s dried blood was even still on it.

And she’s smiling creepily.

From the ring, when Skylar saw her, she smiled slightly, glad that her famous role model came to watch her match.

El Crow saw that smile exchange, and his senses stung him.

They… planned this?

Wasn’t this match supposed to be fair with no cheating?

Why would Skylar make Marisa appear here in the first place? She didn’t only appear, she was wearing that dress!

A brutally manic dash of betrayal crossed his eyes, and he instantly wanted to kill Skylar and chew her bones. He dashed for her, but he couldn’t get to her as memories stuck.

His head rang. Banged. Pounded.

His eyes widened. He paused and froze like a snowball. His body iced, literally.

The memories.

Him in bed.

His mother climbing up to him with a new, sharp scissors…

“No it’ll hurt!!! Don’t cut me! Mummy please!!! Please don’t cut me!!!”

His own voice resounded in his head, and his mind shattered.

Trauma activated.

While all of this was happening to him, Skylar’s punches was dealing with joke seriously on the face, on the jaw, in the mouth, stomach, neck, groin, and every punchable place.

He couldn’t move.

The feel of the second betrayal locked him in place completely.

And the trauma.

His eyes reddened.

His hands froze too.

With cacophonous strength, the underground roared with screams of Skylar.

Arturo panted nervously, wondering what was going wrong with his son, but he realized it late. He saw Marisa in the last minute.

“Turn off the spotlight!!” He screamed, running towards Marisa. “Turn it off!!!!!!!!!!”

But too late.

Skylar gave El Crow the last destructive punch, and his body flew heavily to slam against the exposed metal of a string.

The cold metal peeled his back skin, and that skin fell on the ring floor.

El Crow landed so loud on the floor too, looking terribly blue.
