Maya dropped her bow and turned, expecting to see Antonio, but he was gone.

“Wait, did he not wait to see who wins? That jerk! And here I’m thinking he was here.” She mumbled, and her gaze turned to Skylar, who was still leaning on the floor.

She dared not raise her head up, maybe because of shame!! you never can tell.

Maya hissed and angrily walked out from the training ground, the fact that Antonio didn’t wait to see her victory was what annoyed her.

When Skylar was sure she had left, she raised her head up and could see the gaze everyone was throwing at her.

“What’s it? Do you all want to die? Now, dismissed, you f+cking bunch of fools!” Skylar yelled angrily, and everyone faced their own business.

Skyler balled her hand into a fist, then walked out from the training ground.

SPEEDY & CRISPY SUITE*

Max walked towards their suite and knocked on the door, he was expecting to see Speedy, but it was Crispy who came to open the door for him.

“Hi, is Speedy in?” Max asked, and Crispy didn’t even know whether she should say she was in or not.

“She’s sleeping?” Crispy said.

“Crispy, who’s at the door?” Speedy said and climbed down the bed, walking to the door, but her eyes popped out when she saw it was Max.

“Oh… It’s a nobody, then…” she said and was about to close the door.

Was she referring to him as a nobody? But he isn’t here for that.

“Babe,” Max called, and she looked at him.

“For how long are you going to be giving me this ill treatment?” Max asked, and she scoffed.

“I gave you a long time, and now that you don’t want to come to me first, I have to, please, okay… I’m sorry,” Max said.

“Garbage,” she said.

“You think I don’t know about your illicit affair? You don’t have to lie anymore,I know the real you now,” Speedy said.

“Real me? I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Max said.

“I knew it that you’re going to deny it… I know that you’re going to say you don’t know what I’m talking about when you know what you did,” Speedy said and folded her arms across her chest.

“Would you just tell me what I did? I have no idea of what I did,” Max said.

“Are you still going to pretend that I didn’t see you massaging Pussy or whatever she calls herself’s foot?” Speedy asked.

“Are you talking about when she sprained her ankle? Oh… I was just helping, she sprained her ankle, and I decided to help,” Max said.

“Why did you take her to your suite? Was it the best solution?” Speedy asked.

“That’s because the kit is inside my room, and I couldn’t leave her there helpless, I had to help,” Max said.

“Can’t you see that it is just one of her tactics? She’s doing that for her to get so close to you, and you expect me to believe you?” Speedy asked.

PUSSYCAT & MINNIE ROOM *

Pussycat entered the room and began throwing things at the wall, throwing the flower vase to the wall, and it shattered into pieces.

“How dare he… Just when I thought I’m gonna have him to myself, they had to reconcile, f+ck you, Max,” she said angrily and continued throwing anything throwable.

She had actually trailed Max and, when she saw him stop in Speedy’s suite, she thought he wanted to ask her for a break-up, but then… They had to reconcile.

What did he say? That he’s gonna choose her over me for a million times, huh?

She walked to the mirror and checked herself out, she wasn’t satisfied with her look… Just like Rocco had said, “No man would prefer to date a broomstick like her.” He was absolutely right, she looked so lean, and no man would want to date something dry as her.

She didn’t have boobs like Speedy nor an @s$ like her, why wouldn’t they choose her, and why would they prefer her?

Before she could blink, she threw a punch at the mirror, and it shattered to pieces.

The pieces met her face, giving her a damn deep freaking cut, and blood gushed out.

“Ahhhhhhh,” she yelped in pain.

Spider entered the lab and saw Hotdogg busily fixing his glasses, sweat dripping down his face.

She approached him and tapped him on the shoulder, and he looked up at her.

“I see you’re having trouble fixing your glasses,” Spider said.

“I’m going through this stress because of you, remember? If you hadn’t bumped into me, I wouldn’t be going through all this,” Hotdogg muttered.

“I’m sorry, okay? And if you still won’t forgive me, can we go out and buy new glasses for you?” Spider asked, her tone conciliatory.

“I’ll fix this,” Hotdogg replied, his voice firm.

“Is it something you’re finding difficult to do? Come on, let’s get a new one,” Spider said, trying to persuade him.

“Uh, sure… but if the one I see isn’t like my former glasses, I’ll fix it myself,” Hotdogg said.

“Deal,” Spider said, and they both walked out of the lab together.

ANTONIO SUITE*

Maya entered the suite but she didn’t see any sign of him, she walked deeper inside.

“Now, where’s that jerk? He didn’t even wait to see how I win, and now he has disappeared again. How I wished I could strangle him to death,” Maya said through gritted teeth.

“What did you say?” she heard Antonio’s voice, and she turned to look at him.

“I didn’t say anything,” Maya quickly said.

“But I’m sure I heard something bad about me, like a suicidal attempt,” Antonio teased.

Fine, he caught her.

“The duel between me and Skylar?” she started, and Antonio looked at her.

“You didn’t even bother to wait to see the winner,” Maya said.

“I see no reason for me to wait,” Antonio said.

“But you should have, I’m your trainee, and you’re my master. My master was supposed to see how I did, and if I didn’t do well, you were supposed to correct me,” Maya said bluntly.

“What would I have gained if I had waited?” Antonio asked.

“You would have gained a whole lot… You would have watched how I won. Yeah, I emerged as a winner,” Maya said.

“Oh really?” he asked.

“Yeah.”

“Well, I know you’re my winner,” Antonio said with a smirk.

“W-what?” she blinked her eyes.

“And since you won… I need my reward for training you, because it was my tutor that made you win,” Antonio said.

“And what does my master want?” she asked.

“Not today… I’ll tell you what I want, but not today,” Antonio said.

“I hope my master doesn’t ask for something suicidal,” Maya said.

Minnie came out of the gym and saw Speedy and Max together, her eyes popped out.

Thought Pussycat said they fought, and it could lead to a break up – are they over now? Or they’ve reconcile? She thought.

Well, good for Pussycat, she didn’t buy the idea at first when Pussycat said she’s gonna steal Max away from Speedy. She wasn’t in support of it.

They fed each other chicken soup, and Speedy shoved chicken into Max’s mouth. He was about to eat when she used her mouth to cut off a piece.

Good, they would start with oppression… They wouldn’t let the singles breathe in peace.

She turned her gaze and saw Drake knitting something, he was knitting a sword.

She walked towards him and sat down beside him.

“Hi,” she said, and Drake looked up.

“Hi,” he replied bluntly.

“You’re so good at knitting, who taught you?” she asked.

“My mother taught me,she was so good back then, and I admired her, so I asked her to teach me how to knit,” Drake smiled.

“I’d also love to learn this master piece,” she said.

“Not for free, though,” she said, and they both laughed.

EVENING*

The clan all went for their mission, and Maya was more than shocked that Antonio didn’t take her along.

Well, she was glad!! she didn’t know whether she was helping him or helping the police.

Because if she went on that mission and danger struck, she might want to fight, she wouldn’t watch like a ghetto and watch how they killed the gang members.

Though she’s a cop, there was one thing she wouldn’t endure, seeing other people in pain, and she wouldn’t be able to do anything about it, she wasn’t raised like that.

Maya entered her room, and she couldn’t help but notice that everywhere was dark.

She wanted to switch the light on when the door locked, and her eyes widened.

“What’s this? Are they trying to play a prank on me?” she asked herself, and luckily, she found the switch and turned the lights on,her eyes widened momentarily.

Her head shook torturously as she saw what was going on, big and giant spiders were entering through the window of her room.

She turned and began banging on the door, but it was as if she was shouting in vain, who was she deceiving?

The gang went on a mission, and the computer lab, where Hotdogg and Vinegar were, was a far distance from here.

They wouldn’t hear her scream or shout because they would be focused on the mission, so no one would hear her.

Maya fell on the ground, and she could see the giant spider getting close to her, well, she has a phobia called Arachnophobia, a fear of spiders.

She shifted back, and her back met the door.

“Don’t come close… No… Don’t come close,” she said, her body covered in sweat.

“Stay away… F+cking stay away,” she shouted, and the spider got too close to her.

“Someone, please open this damn door… Please,” Maya pleaded, and through the window, someone was watching and smirked.

“You think you’re going to go scot-free, then let’s see how you’re going to escape this,” the person said and left her window.

The spider almost got to her, and Maya could swear that she almost fainted, she was coughing out loud.

Her bathroom door opened, and someone entered, using a duvet to cover her.

“Breathe, Maya… F+cking breathe… I’m here now,” Maya looked up to see the person and pulled him into a hug, hugging him tightly while the person wrapped his hand around her neck.

She sniffed in his scent.
