Vincenzo Returns Home
Blake was trying to play smart, but little did he know that Vincenzo had been long prepared for this day to come. Now, all of his men in the room were down. He signaled to his men who were outside the room, but probably in disguise at the clubhouse to come attack Vincenzo.
Surprisingly, Vincenzo’s men showed up, surrounding the area. Blake waited but saw no one. He got a phone call and one of Vincenzo’s men picked it up.
“Where the fuck are you guys?!” He yelled. “I need you in the damn room this instant!”
“I’m sorry, Mr Blake, you’re men are under our custody now ” Said the voice from the other side of the line.
“Who the fuck are you to answer my call?”
“The guy who’s gonna kill your men.” He replied.
Blake threw at Vincenzo an angry glare. “Who the fuck are you, asshole?! What do you want from me?”
Vincenzo shrugged his shoulders. “Well, let’s just say, I’m the random guy who wants to have you dead.” He raised an eyebrow. “You messed with the wrong family.”
“What are you going to do to me, huh?! Hand me over to the police?”
“Does it look like I would do that?” He questioned. “I’m gonna end your life right here and right now just the same way you murdered my mother’s life.”
As Vincenzo made his way back home, his heart was filled with happiness, an unmeasurable feeling of excitement surge inside of him. The weight of revenge lifted from his shoulders and a sense of closure settled within him.
He couldn’t help but feel a sense of happiness knowing that the man responsible for his mother’s death had finally met his end.
Upon reaching his home, he was greeted by a wave of warmth and anticipation. Freya, who had been anxiously waiting for his return, had already been alerted by the maids of his arrival.
Alongside her was Myra, who had been providing solace and support to Freya during Vincenzo’s absence. She never dared to leave her sight as she knew her presence was only the thing that kept Freya from doing some thing stupid or crazy.
As the door swung open, Freya’s eyes lit up with pure joy. She rushed forward, unable to contain her excitement at seeing Vincenzo once again. With open arms, she embraced him tightly, holding onto him as if afraid he might disappear.
Vincenzo, taken aback by her display of affection, returned the hug. He apologized for leaving without saying goodbye. But Freya simply brushed it off, expressing that his return in that moment was all that truly mattered to her.
To give them some privacy and time to reconnect, Myra discreetly stepped aside, allowing Freya and Vincenzo to immerse themselves in their reunion. They made their way to their room, hand in hand, cherishing every step as they were buried in the happiness of being together once again.
Inside their room, Vincenzo took a moment to study Freya’s face, noting the sadness with etched in her features during his absence. He realized just how deeply he had missed her and how fortunate he was to have such kind of support in his life.
As they settled into the night, cuddled up in each other’s arms, their happiness radiated throughout the room. “I missed you so much.” His voice sounded in the quiet room.
“I missed you more. I was terrified after you had dropped the call, I thought you wouldn’t come back home. I thought you’d leave me just the way Olsen did.”
Vincenzo was surprised as to how she got to know about Olsen’s death, yet acted normal. Reading the expression in his face, Freya could understand how surprised he was.
“I told Myra not to have such a conversation discussed with you. Why would she disobey my orders.”
“She didn’t. I never forgot about Olsen’s death.”
Vincenzo stared at her surprisingly. “But how is that possible? The doctors said you lost your memory?”
“I didn’t, I never did. She tried her best not to have the conversation with me, but I ended up telling her that I was consciously aware of every thing that had happened before the incident. I made her promise not to tell you.”
“But why?” He asked. “You made me feel guilty all these while, blaming myself for every thing that has happened to you.”
“I didn’t want to tell you so soon, I wanted to be sure your feelings for me are true. I wanted to be sure that I can trust you more than any one else. But now, I see you really deserve more than my trust.”
He held her hands in his. “You can trust me with your life, I will keep it safe.”
She takes her hand off his grip, placing it in his cheek. “Thank you so much. Who would have thought a rough beginning with you would turn out to be this interesting?”
Vincenzo chuckled. “Never knew I’d sacrifice a lot just for you. But you know what, I don’t regret any of it. What matters is you, I have you with me.”
She felt his sweat on his skin. “You should use the bathroom.”
He touched his skin and he felt his sweat gummed on his skin. “Yeah, you’re right.” He left for the bathroom to take a shower, and he was taking too long there.
She decided to go take a look and she saw that he hadn’t even taken off his clothes. “What’s on your mind?” She asked.
He shook his head. “Nothing.”
She walked in, shutting the door behind her. “No, some thing is bothering you. You have share it to me, I’m all ears.”
He sighed. “I finally found the man who murdered my mother.”
“What did you do to him?” She asked. “You killed him?”
“I had no choice. He was going to kill me first, I had no choice.”
“It doesn’t matter, he deserved it. Every one would have done the same thing.” She said, walking behind him. “Since you can’t take your bath alone, maybe I should join you.”
Vincenzo smiled, he loved her offer. “Was expecting you to say that.”
She smiled. “Really?”
She helped him take off his shirt, leaving him shirtless. Then she takes off her clothes, until she is standing naked before him. Vincenzo smirked evilly, he was loving what he was staring at.
Since he fell in love with her, aside from kissing her, he never had the opportunity to see beneath those dresses until now. And honestly, it’s a moment he can’t overlook.
