Giselle’s eyes blazed, her voice sharp, cutting through the stunned silence like a whip.“Daddy, would you please tell my future stepsister that LEO IS MINE!”

Aimee choked.

Aimee’s smirk faltered. Her jaw tightened, a wicked idea pulsed in her mind , what if she just continuously hit Giselle’s head on the table till her brains spill out.

Richard’s fork clattered against his plate. “Giselle—”

“No, Future Daddy!” Giselle snapped, standing now, fists clenched at her sides.

Eleanor’s hand flew to her mouth, her eyes wide with shock. “Girls… please—”

“No!” Giselle barked, stepping closer to Aimee, her gaze deadly.” How does it feel to see the person you love with someone else.” she whispered.

Aimee swallowed nothing down her throat , Giselle knew , she fuckin knew everything the whole moment. She’s obviously using Leonard to get revenge on her.

Aimee’s smirk returned, forced and brittle. “Giselle… it’s just a birthday wish.”

” You’rent the only celebrating her birthday , unfortunately our birthday is on the same date. Bad luck.” Giselle snapped.

Richard cleared his throat, attempting to restore calm. “Girls, please—this is—”

Giselle cut him off, pointing a finger at Aimee. “Don’t. Touch. My. Leo.”

Aimee’s hand twitched, a mixture of frustration and fear in her eyes.

Aimee just remained silent ,she hasn’t seen this other side of Giselle .Its terrifying.

Eleanor stood abruptly then she climbed the stairs , Richard followed from behind utterly disappointed at the girls.

Seeing Richard and Eleanor had left , Aimee showed her true colors , she stood too trying to match Giselle’s height.

” Do I’m guessing you found out the terrible things I did to you while in college. Let’s make a deal ….”

” What deal?” Giselle cut her off rudely.

Aimee’s lips curved slowly, her eyes gleaming with something dark.
“Let’s make a deal,” she repeated calmly.

“What deal?” Giselle cut her off rudely.
Aimee stepped closer, lowering her voice.

“You walk away from Leonard… and I promise to keep the rest of your little secrets buried.”

Giselle’s brows furrowed. “What secrets?”

Aimee chuckled softly.“Oh please, Giselle. You think I don’t know about that little incident during our final year in college?”

Giselle’s jaw tightened.

Aimee leaned in slightly.

“The night at the studio… the fight… the scandal that almost destroyed your career before it even started.” She tilted her head. “Imagine if the media found out the truth.”

Giselle’s fingers curled into fists.“So that’s your plan?” she said coldly. “Blackmail?”

Aimee shrugged.“Call it… negotiation.”

Giselle suddenly laughed. Not a soft laugh. A sharp, mocking one.

Aimee’s smile slowly faded.

“You really think that scares me?” Giselle said, wiping an imaginary tear from her eye.

Aimee narrowed her eyes. “It should.”

Giselle stepped forward until they were inches apart.

“Listen carefully,” she said quietly. “You think you’re the villain in my story?”
Her lips curved slowly.“You’re not.”

Aimee frowned.

“You’re just… a side character.”

The words hit harder than a slap.

Aimee’s expression twisted with rage.

Giselle continued calmly.“And here’s the funny part… you think Leonard would leave me if he heard some stupid college rumor?”She leaned closer and whispered:“He’d probably kill whoever tried to expose it.”

Aimee froze.

Giselle smirked.“So if I were you…” she said, grabbing her purse from the chair, “…I’d worry less about Leonard.”

She turned toward the door.“And start worrying about what I might do to you next.”

Her heels clicked across the floor as she walked out of the dining room without looking back.

Aimee stood there shaking with anger.
Her nails dug into her palm.

“Side character?” she whispered.
Her eyes darkened.

“We’ll see about that… Giselle, or should I call you murderer”.

Giselle slowed her car as she passed the hospital gate.

Her eyes narrowed.

Jeremy was walking out.

She frowned slightly and pulled over.
The engine went silent.Giselle stepped out, leaning casually against her car, arms folded.“Jeremy?” she called affectionately.

Jeremy turned.

The moment he saw her, his face changed—relief flooding his eyes.
Before Giselle could even react, he rushed toward her.

And pulled her into a tight hug.

” Am sorry .” Jeremy kept on mumbling, Giselle hugged him back .

It’s been Four or probably five years she last talked and hugged him .

It felt so good , tears even streamed down her eyes.

Jeremy slowly disengaged .

” You were right Giselle , mom is cruel and heartless .” Jeremy broke down.

” Did she harm you ?” Giselle asked worriedly.

” She tried to ” Jeremy replied” She’s in the hospital now .”

” Why?”.

Jeremy’s voice was tight.“Leonard showed up at our apartment last night. He practically fried her face… poured hot oil on her body… and used a hot iron on her.”

Giselle stared at him, stunned.
“But why?” she asked, completely baffled.

Jeremy looked straight at her.“Because Mom was the one who hired that goon to shoot you.”

The words hit like a brick.
Giselle blinked slowly. “Our… mother?”

Jeremy nodded grimly.

Giselle leaned back against her car, trying to process it.“For God’s sake… Why would she try to harm her own children.”

Jeremy ran a hand through his hair.
” I think she hates you for just no reason.’

Giselle scoffed.“So her solution was to kill me?”

Jeremy didn’t answer.

That silence was answer enough.

Giselle shook her head slowly.“That’s insane.”

Jeremy looked toward the hospital behind him.

“She’s inside now. Doctors say she’ll recover… but she’s badly injured. She looks hideous.”

Giselle crossed her arms.“And Leonard did all that… because of me?”

Jeremy nodded again.“He said anyone who tries to touch you will regret being born.”

Giselle went quiet.

Her mind flashed back to Leonard’s cold eyes… his calm voice… the way he always said things like they were promises, not threats.

Jeremy watched her carefully.“You’re not shocked by that part,” he said.

Giselle let out a slow breath.“No,” she said quietly.

Jeremy frowned slightly.“That man is dangerous, Giselle.”

She looked at him.A faint, unreadable smile touched her lips.“I know.”

Then she opened her car door.

Jeremy frowned deeper. “That’s all you’re going to say?”

Giselle paused before getting in“Well…” she said calmly.“At least now everyone knows something.”

Jeremy raised an eyebrow.“What?”

Giselle looked at him with a small, dangerous smile.“No one touches me and walks away from Leonard.”

Then she got into her car and drove off, leaving Jeremy standing there.

” I take back my word , Leonard and Giselle are dangerous ” Jeremy mumbled walking away.

As Jeremy walked back to his apartment, Lionel’s car whizzed past him .

SEA PORT — NIGHT

The sea breeze was cold against the quiet docks.

The cargo ship had already sailed.

Leonard sat alone on a metal bench near the containers, his elbows resting on his knees, eyes dark and patient.

Everything had been inspected, the shipment was clean.

But that wasn’t why he stayed.

His phone rested loosely in his hand.
Sabrina’s message still glowed on the screen.

Sabrina : Bruce knows Giselle was in your villa , his men has been spying on you all day .am probably sure he’s going to come to your location to warn you to stay away from Giselle.

Leonard’s jaw tightened slightly.

Footsteps approached across the dock.

He didn’t look up.

He already knew who it was.

Bruce stopped a few steps in front of him.“You like stealing other people’s things?” Bruce’s voice was cold.

Leonard finally lifted his head slowly.
His eyes were calm… almost bored.
“She isn’t a thing,” Leonard said flatly.

Bruce laughed bitterly.“She was mine before you showed up.”

Leonard leaned back against the bench.“If she was yours,” he said quietly, “she wouldn’t be at my place.”

Bruce’s fists clenched.“You think this is funny?”

Leonard tilted his head slightly.“No.”

Silence stretched between them.
The waves crashed faintly in the distance.

Bruce stepped closer.
“Stay away from her.Or else…”

Leonard’s eyes darkened.“Or what?”

Bruce smirked, but there was madness behind it.“You’ll see.”

Leonard stared at him for a long moment. Then he chuckled softly

It wasn’t amusement.

It sounded like a warning.

“You musicians,” Leonard muttered, standing up slowly. “You always think drama makes you dangerous.”

He stepped closer to Bruce.

Now they were face to face.

Leonard’s voice dropped to a whisper.
“But obsession…”His eyes turned cold.
“…is something I do better than you.”

Bruce’s jaw tightened.

Leonard slipped his hands into his pockets.“So go home,” he said calmly.
“Before you say something that makes me bury you in this ocean.”

The wind howled across the empty dock.

And for the first time since arriving…
Bruce realized Leonard had been expecting him.

” When I say home , I mean your real home with your family in California.” Leonard said getting too bored .

He’s already missing his Short witch.

” You’re mad to think I’ll go back ….”

” You have 24 hours to depart New York or get prepared to attend your parents funeral .” Leonard smirked darkly and waltzed away .

Bruce held his racing heart , his eyes looked down to his legs ,they were shaking cos of fear.

Fear for Leonard.

The street was empty.

Rumi walked back from the small store with a paper bag, it was late and no living souls could be seen.

Suddenly a whistle sounded behind her.

“Well, well… look what we have here,” a man sneered from the shadows.

Rumi stiffened, gripping her bag tighter. Being a celebrity had taught her to stay calm, but her heart raced.

Three men stepped out, smirking.
“Walking alone at this hour?” one of them said.

“Move,” Rumi said firmly.
They laughed. “Relax… we just want to talk,” another said, stepping closer.

Rumi’s eyes darted around. No one was there.

Just as one of them reached toward her—

The roar of a motorcycle engine cut through the silence.

The men froze.

Vincent stepped off the bike, his eyes scanning the scene. Calm, controlled, deadly.

“Really?” he said, voice low. “Three grown men threatening a celebrity on a quiet street?”

The men looked at each other nervously.

Vincent didn’t wait. He approached, each step slow and confident.
“Step back,” he said quietly, but there was no doubt in his tone — it was a warning, not a suggestion.

The men hesitated.

“You think this is a joke?” he asked, still calm. “It’s not. Leave now.”

One of them scoffed, but the others started to edge away.

Vincent’s eyes didn’t leave them. His presence alone was enough.

Finally, they muttered under their breath and fled into the shadows.
Silence returned to the street.

Rumi threw the paper bag away and she ran to hug Vincent ,he smiled as he hugged her back .

” Thanks .” Rumi whispered.

” Don’t go out alone at night it’s dangerous , what happened to your car ?” Vincent asked running his hand in her hair .

” Nothing ” Rumi replied “I love you Vincent ” She confessed hugging him possessively.

Vincent’s eyes widened.

He hesitated to say the ‘I love you ‘.

GISELLE’S MANSION — MORNING

Giselle’s eyes fluttered open.

For a moment, the soft morning light filtered through her curtains, and she thought she was alone.

Then she felt it.

Leonard.

His arms were wrapped around her, holding her close, almost possessively.
Her heart skipped a beat.

She froze, staring at his face. His dark eyes were closed, his jaw relaxed, but even in sleep he looked impossibly calm—dangerously calm.

Giselle’s mind raced. Did he come last night? When did he…?

Her cheeks flushed, and she slowly tried to move without waking him, but his grip tightened slightly, as if he was still claiming her even in sleep.

Her gaze traced his features—his lips, his brow, the faint shadow of stubble.
She couldn’t believe this. Shock, confusion, and a strange warmth surged through her.

Finally, she whispered, almost to herself, “Leo… what are you doing here?”

Leonard stirred slightly, eyes half-opening, still holding her close.
“You’re awake,” he murmured, voice low and husky. “Good… I was hoping you’d wake up next to me.”

Giselle swallowed hard, her heart hammering. She wanted to pull away, to ask questions, but the intensity in his eyes held her frozen.

“Leon…” she started, her voice shaky.

“Don’t say anything,” he whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to her temple.

“Just… stay with me a little longer.”

” No” Gisele said stubbornly, she freed herself from his grip cos he allowed it .

” Am angry at you .” Leonard blurted out annoyed.

” What did I do ?” She asked immediately.

” You never do anything for me , I once told you that I wanted to see those indigo’s in action but you refused ” he scoffed looking at the other side .

Giselle smirked moving closer to him.

She sat on top of him, her movements deliberate, dragging his joggers down. Leonard’s annoyance vanished instantly, replaced by a dark, intense hunger as he watched her.

Leonard smirked, the frustration from moments ago completely forgotten, and pulled her down for a searing kiss. “Show me, Giselle,” he murmured against her lips. “Make me forget why I was mad.”

Giselle smirked and she pulled down his boxer.

he was hard.Dead hard.

Leonard’s dark eyes were filled with hunger , desires as he watched her.

Her fingers teased his tip , then she began to stroke him .She was obviously giving him a hand job.

Leonard’s mind exploded and he moaned.

” Fu…..+…..k Sho….rt…wi…..tch “
