[ San Francisco – Restaurant ]
The bell above the restaurant door chimed softly.
Vincent adjusted the sleeves of his black shirt, the faint scent of grilled salmon and garlic butter filling the air. The restaurant wasn’t five-star luxury, but it was warm — golden lights, wooden tables, soft jazz playing in the background.
It was his mother’s place.
And now, it was his responsibility.
“Vincent!” Mrs. Alvarez called from the kitchen. “Table six!”
He grabbed the tray effortlessly, flashing that effortless smile of his.
And like clockwork… the girls were already staring.
Three college girls sat at the corner table, whispering and giggling.
“That’s him.”
“The one I told you about.”
“He’s even cuter up close.”
Vincent pretended not to notice. He was used to it. Ever since he returned to San Francisco, business had strangely increased. Girls came “for the pasta”… but stayed for him.
He placed the drinks down.
“Anything else?” he asked politely.
One girl leaned closer ” Yeah , your number” .
” Sorry. The only thing on the menu is food ,” Vincent chuckled slightly.
They laughed, but his smile faded when he looked away .
He stepped outside briefly, the cold breeze hitting his face.
He pulled out his phone.
A new message from Rumi , a voice note.
“If you don’t come back to New York tomorrow…” she paused, her breath uneven, “I don’t know what I might do to myself.”
The air left his lungs.
“Rumi…” he whispered.
Vincent ran a hand through his hair, pacing.
“No… no, no,” he muttered. “She wouldn’t… she can’t…”
But doubt is a dangerous thing.
His chest tightened painfully.
He dialed her number immediately.
It rang.
And rang.
And rang.
No answer.
“Rumi, pick up,” he breathed, panic rising.
[ Giselle’s mansion , Living Room ]
The television light flickered across the dark living room.
A romantic movie was playing, but neither of them was really watching.
Giselle sat curled up on one side of the couch, popcorn untouched in her lap.
Rumi sat beside her , calm….too calm.
Her phone lit up on the glass center table.
Vincent Calling…
Giselle noticed first.“Rumi…”
Rumi’s eyes shifted slowly to the screen, his name glowed there.
Her lips curved into a small smirk while the phone continued vibrating.
Giselle frowned. “Aren’t you going to answer?”
Rumi leaned back into the couch, crossing her legs.“No.”
The call ended.
Silence.
Two seconds later—It started ringing again.
Vincent Calling…
Giselle turned fully toward her. “You sent that message. You’re gonna give the poor boy high BP”.
Rumi didn’t deny it.
Her gaze stayed fixed on the screen as if she was studying his desperation through the vibration.
“He needs to understand,” Rumi said quietly.
“Understand what?” Giselle’s voice sharpened.
“That he can’t just leave me and expect me to be fine.”
The phone stopped ringing again.Rumi picked it up this time—not to answer.
Just to stare at his missed calls.
Five.
Giselle opened her mouth to speak but she was distracted by the buzzing of her phone.
She checked it.
It’s a message from Bruce.
Bruce : Am outside your mansion , your silly army of bodyguards won’t lat me in.
” Of course they won’t” Giselle muttered , she lazily walked out if the mansion.
Bruce was indeed outside , he leaned on his car wearing a frown.
But when his gaze caught hers , his frown disappeared replaced with a charming smile.
” Hey, Bruce!” Giselle awkwardly waved as she strolled towards him ” Why’re you here?”.
Bruce pushed himself off the car, that dramatic grin already spreading across his face.
“You won’t believe what I’m about to tell you.”
Giselle folded her arms. “Go on.”
He leaned closer like he was about to reveal a national secret.“Our song just got nominated. Back to hell!”
She blinked. “Nominated for what?”
Bruce’s grin widened.“The MTV Video Music Awards.”
For a second—She just stared at him.
Then—
“What?!” she gasped.
“Yes!” he laughed. “Best International Collaboration.”
Her hands flew to her mouth.“You’re lying.”
“I would never lie about this,” he said dramatically, pulling out his phone and showing her the announcement.
There it was.
Their names.
Their song.
Official.
Giselle’s heart started racing.
Inside the mansion, Rumi noticed the sudden squeal and hurried toward the entrance.
“What happened?” she asked.
Bruce didn’t let Giselle answer.“Oh, that’s not even the best part.”
Giselle slowly turned back to him.
“There’s more?”He nodded.“We just received an official invitation.”
“To what?”Giselle asked too curious.
“The President is hosting a private ball tonight. And guess who’s on the guest list?”
Silence,then Giselle’s eyes widened.
“No way.”
“Yes way,” Bruce said, enjoying every second of this.
Rumi grabbed the phone from his hand to confirm it herself.“This is real…” she whispered.
Giselle laughed nervously. “This can’t be happening.”
“Four hours?!”
Headlights flashed through the massive glass windows,a sleek black Rolls-Royce glided through the gates like it owned the night.
The guards didn’t stop it,That alone made Bruce frown ,the car stopped smoothly at the entrance.
The driver stepped out first, then the back door opened.Noah stepped out
perfectly dressed in a tailored charcoal suit, tablet in hand, posture straight and unshakable. The atmosphere shifted immediately.
“Miss Giselle?” Noah called calmly.
Bruce stepped slightly in front of her. “And you are?”
The man gave a polite nod. “Mr. Leonard’s personal assistant.”
Rumi’s brows lifted then she smirked.
Giselle’s heart skipped.
“He sent me,” Noah continued, “to escort Miss Giselle.”
“Escort me where?” Giselle asked, folding her arms to hide the sudden nervous flutter in her stomach.
“To Mr. Leonard.”
Bruce discreetly folded his knuckles till they turned white .
Noah’s lips curved faintly. “Tonight, he preferred to prepare properly.”
Rumi leaned closer to Giselle and whispered, “Prepare for what?”
As if on cue, Noah tapped his tablet.
Behind the Rolls-Royce, another car pulled in.Then another.Stylists.
Makeup artists.
Two security men stepped out.
Bruce’s jaw tightened. “What is all this?”
Noah finally revealed it.
“Miss Giselle has been personally invited to accompany Mr. Leonard to the President’s Ball tonight.”
Silence.
Giselle blinked. “Accompany?”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Bruce looked at her frowning “You didn’t tell me about this.”
“I didn’t know,” she replied honestly.
Noah stepped aside slightly, gesturing toward the car.
“Mr. Leonard requested that you arrive before him. He said…” — he checked the tablet briefly — “…and I quote, ‘Tell my short witch not to keep her king waiting.’”
Rumi choked on air.
Bruce’s face darkened with rage , What the heck did Leonard think of himself?
Giselle tried to hide the smile threatening her lips.
“That arrogant—” Bruce muttered.
Noah continued smoothly. “Your gown is already prepared. Everything has been arranged.”
“Everything?” Giselle asked quietly.
“Yes, ma’am.”
The PA opened the door respectfully.
As Giselle stepped toward the car,
The door shut.
” Bye baby ,” Rumi waved , sending her flying kisses.
” Stop torturing Vincent ,Poor guy ” Giselle waved too ,she clearly saw Rumi smirk.
That girl.
The Rolls-Royce pulled away.
And Bruce stood there, staring at the disappearing car .
He clenched his fist in annoyance.
his hatred towards Leonard ignited like a Volcano about erupt.
Rumi ignored him and walked back into the mansion.
[ MERCER FAMILY MANSION ]
The marble floors of the Mercer mansion gleamed under the soft golden lights. Each step echoed like a warning as Aimee’s heels clicked against the polished surface.
She paused in front of the grand double doors of the study, taking a steadying breath. Inside, the aura of power was palpable.
Richard Mercer, President of New York ,her father, stood behind a massive mahogany desk. His dark suit was impeccable, tailored to perfection, the kind of suit that made you notice the man before he even spoke. His hair was peppered with silver, and his piercing blue eyes scanned her like a general reviewing his troops.
” Dad ” Aimee muttered innocently.
“Sit,” he said, his voice calm but laced with authority.
She obeyed without a word.
Behind him, Eleanor Mercer, the First Lady, stood near the fireplace. She was elegance incarnate — every curve, every detail curated to perfection. Her black silk gown shimmered under the chandeliers, and her hair fell in flawless waves over her shoulders. Her eyes, sharp and calculating, never left Aimee. There was a quiet, dangerous beauty about her — the kind that could both seduce and intimidate at the same time.
Fact ; She looks hella hot and sexy , Richard is no exception too.
” You disbanded PinkPop without my permission” Richard violently hit the desk causing her pulse to race.
” Don’t scold her , dear .” Eleanor intervened.
” Why won’t I ?” Richard snapped , Eleanor took her lips in ” This daughter of ours has made a mockery of herself cos of jealousy. Am even ashamed to call you my daughter , do you realize how many followers you keep loosing every seconds , Aren’t Giselle and Rumi your friends anymore?” .
” They’re not my friends! I hate them , besides Tate is back on the group , We’re gonna blossom without Giselle and Rumi .”Aimee replied with a cocky smile.
“Am your daughter ,dad , mom ” Aimee pouted which kinda irritated Eleanor easily.
” Am gonna go prepare for tonight’s ball , this conversation is getting me sick .” Eleanor stood and she walked out.
” Ball?” Aimee raised an eye brow .
Her father must have invited Leonard to the ball , maybe just maybe she might introduce Leonard to her father as the man she wants to spend her forever with .
” Stop daydreaming cos you’rent invited to my ball.” Richard angrily hissed and walked out .
Aimee raised her middle finger at his retreating figure , finally she can breath properly .
Her own father didn’t invite her to the ball and it’s all that unfortunate Giselle’s fault.
” Sometimes I wish that Giselle collapses and dies right on that spot.” Aimee smiled poisonously.
[ PRIDE HIGH – CLOSING TIME ]
The final bell rang, echoing through the emptying hallways. Students poured out, laughter and chatter fading into the distance as the day ended.
Lionel leaned against his car, casually checking his phone, when Jeremy appeared. He looked tired, distracted, and a little… uneasy.
“You want a lift?” Lionel asked, a faint smile tugging at his lips.
Jeremy nodded silently, sliding into the passenger seat. The doors closed, and the engine hummed to life.
Pinky was watching from a distance and she cunningly clicked pictures.
Jeremy’s mind, however, wasn’t on the scenery. His mother’s words echoed relentlessly in his head:
“…he doesn’t even know I was the one who sent those goons to collect money from him…”
The memory of her venomous voice rang like an alarm. Every word burned, making his chest tighten, but he didn’t speak. He wouldn’t. Not here. Not now.
Lionel glanced at him, sensing the tension. “You’ve been quiet since school let out,” he said softly. “Everything okay?”
Jeremy swallowed hard, keeping his eyes fixed on the passing lights. “Yeah… just tired,” he muttered.
A soft smile tugged at Lionel’s lips, and his gaze drifted. That’s when he noticed it — the small cluster of moles on Jeremy’s neck, just below the jawline.
Lionel swallowed hit creeping on his skin.
” Your mole it looks ….s×xy ” Lionel confessed without realizing it .
” S+xy ?” Jeremy faced him with an heart race ” You’re…”
” Don’t judge me quickly am not gay am bisexual , I can do both .” Lionel winked.
” You’re strange” Jeremy muttered leaning back ward ” That night at the club , you rebuked me .”
“I already apologized,” Lionel said casually, shrugging. Then, deliberately, he let his hand rest on Jeremy’s lap, just long enough to make Jeremy’s pulse skip.
Jeremy’s eyes widened, heart beating faster. He tried to look away, but the warmth of Lionel’s touch lingered, sending a shiver up his spine.
“You’re… impossible,” Jeremy muttered, voice low.
Lionel smirked, leaning just a little closer, eyes glinting with mischief. “I’m just honest. Unlike you, trying to play it cool.”
Jeremy swallowed, words failing him. All he could do was feel… and hope Lionel didn’t.
Lionel gaze fixed on Jeremy’s moles.
” Sexy ” he muttered.
[ Leonard’s Private Villa ]
The door closed softly behind Giselle, shutting out the world. The villa was quiet, the faint scent of fresh flowers and expensive leather filling the air.
A voice, calm and commanding, came from behind her. “This way.”
She followed without a word, heels clicking against the polished marble floor. The corridor was dimly lit, each step echoing slightly, making her pulse quicken—not from fear, but from anticipation.
At the end of the hall, a large door stood slightly ajar. “In here,” the voice instructed.
Giselle pushed the door open—and froze.
A mannequin stood in the center of the room, perfectly lit by the soft glow of the chandelier. Draped across it was a ball gown that made her catch her breath.
It was emerald green, shimmering under the light, with a form-fitting bodice embroidered with delicate gold threads that traced patterns across the chest and shoulders. The neckline was daring, tasteful, and just enough to make her cheeks warm. The skirt flowed into a cascading train, layers of silk and chiffon moving slightly with the air, sparkling with tiny emeralds and sequins along the hem.
Giselle’s arms crossed, and she smirked. “Really, Leonard? You think just putting my dress on a mannequin is going to impress me?”
She circled it, inspecting every detail with her sharp eyes. “Okay, okay… I’ll give you this — it’s hot. Sexy, dangerous, like someone actually planned this to get my attention.”
Then she paused. Her sharp gaze swept the room.
Wait. Where was he?
The villa was silent. Empty. Leonard wasn’t there.
Giselle pouted cutely then she fell on the bed .
” The ball is 2 hours later , lemme just get an hour sleep .” She muttered burying herself to the pillow— It fuckin smelled like him.
Her eyelids fluttered closed, just as a shadow moved near the doorway.
“Sleeping already, short witch?” The voice was low, teasing, impossibly smooth.
Giselle’s eyes shot open. Leonard was leaning casually against the doorframe, that signature mischievous smirk on his lips. His dark eyes glittered with amusement, and his posture screamed confidence — danger wrapped in charm.
Before she could react, he was behind her. She felt strong arms wrap around her waist, pulling her slightly against him. His chest pressed lightly to her back, warm and solid, and the faint scent of his cologne made her heart stutter.
“Leo!” she gasped, squirming slightly but failing miserably.
“You really thought you could nap without me?” he whispered in her ear, his voice low and teasing. “I couldn’t let you be alone… not when you smell like this.”
” Smell like what ?” Giselle asked pressing her head on his chest , she didn’t relent anymore.
Leonard’s lips curved into a wicked smirk. “Nothing,” he said, low and dangerous — though Giselle could feel the mischief in his tone.
Before she could react, his hands were at her waist, pulling her close… and in a sudden, fluid motion, he flipped her over, pinning her gently but firmly against the bed.
Her breath hitched.
Leonard leaned down, dark eyes locking with hers, and pressed his lips to hers. This wasn’t soft or playful — it was intense, consuming, and dangerously dark, the kind of kiss that made your entire body ignite and your mind forget everything else.
Giselle gasped into the kiss, her fingers tangling in his hair. Her sass didn’t vanish — she pressed back, testing him, daring him, even as her heartbeat thundered.
” Oh! Leo!” Giselle moaned in his mouth , her eyes widened when she heard the sound of her fabric tearing.
Her mind went insane rapidly , the way he kissed her neck …f+k , that was her weak spot and he knew .
” I want you completely,” Leonard murmured, his voice low, velvety, and dangerous. His hands gripped her waist, pulling her impossibly close, teasing, claiming, yet keeping just enough restraint to drive her wild.
Giselle let out a sharp breath, trying to push him away — but she didn’t. She couldn’t. The heat in her chest and the thrill in her pulse betrayed her sass.
Next moment her fabric was on the floor , the only thing saving her from being naked was her G strings .
Her body said it all , hot curves , s+xy hourglass body .
Leonard went numb , he couldn’t function.
Right now all he wants to do is thank God for creating such an angel.
His hands moved into Giselle’s string bra.
He claimed her with his touch. Her b👀bs perfectly fitted on his hands like they were made for him .
Giselle’s eyes widened , It wasn’t supposed to happen but —
Her p+xxy watered.
