Her heart skipped a beat.

She herself forgot she was allergic to pineapple but he remembered.

Who was he really?

” Hey! you look lost ,”Bruce asked worriedly.

” Yeah…am cool ,” Giselle forced out a smile , she sighed when she saw Leonard leaving with some investors.

” Bruce let’s leave now am getting bored ,” Giselle stood.

Bruce frowned for a bit but he quickly replaced it with a fake smile.

He stood too.

” I didn’t know I was bored,” Bruce said and she hanged her hands around his shoulder.

” don’t be such a baby , let’s go home I need rest ,” she purred and he smiled genuinely.

As they made their way for the exit , Giselle’s phone buzzed with a message from Leonard.

Leo : Am waiting outside I’ll drop you home, that’s final.

Giselle : Oh please Leo you ain’t the boss of me.

After pressing the send button , she held Bruce’s arm as they walked outside. As expected Leonard was outside, he wore a cold expression as he backed his car .

Leonard’s gaze was on Giselle’s arm on Bruce’s , if eyes could kill Bruce would probably be 30 feet’s down.

Giselle smirked as she watched his reaction, she pulled Bruce face closer to hers and she kissed him on the cheek.

Leonard calmly slid into his car then he glided away.

” Gawd am never washing my face again!” Bruce exclaimed as his cheeks flushed bright red.

” Are you blushing?” Giselle asked knowingly , there’s clearly a bored expression on her face .

” It was just a peck no strings attached, don’t get your hopes high .” she added and she slid into the passengers seat.

Bruce ruffled his hair with his fingers, his lips slowly tugged into a smile.

” She’s mine” he muttered down in his breath , he slid into the driver’s seat , he brought the engines back to life and drove away.

His destination is PinkPop mansion.

THE EAGLE<Outside>

Lionel’s car glided into the clubs parking lot , the doors of the car opened, Lionel and Daniel stepped out .

Daniel’s father is the original owner of ‘The Eagle’ an LGBTQ club , since his father is clearly not in the country right now Daniel is the temporary manager of the club .

” I’ll wait outside,” Lionel shrugged backing the car .

” I won’t force you, I just need to get some documents then I’ll be back .” Daniel winked , he patted Lionel’s shoulder and went into the building.

Lionel didn’t try to hide the disdain he has for such clubs like this.

he made to enter his car , seat and wait for Lionel but his gaze caught a familiar figure stepping out of the building.

Lionel raised an eye brow when he recognized the figure — Jeremy.

” Jeremy!” Lionel called waving in the process.

Jeremy flinched for a moment , he decided to act like he didn’t hear his name being called . Lionel ran after him and blocked his way in the process.

” Are you deaf ? I was calling you .” Lionel snapped angrily.

” What are you doing here? do you work here ? Are you part of the strippers that work here?” Lionel asked in one breath.

Jeremy’s expression darkened instantly, but he remained silent.

Lionel smiled taking Jeremy’s silence as a ‘yes’.

” I didn’t expect you to be so disgusting,” Lionel spat tucking his hands into his pocket” You’re working as a stripper just for money .”

Jeremy’s head snapped up.

His eyes burned — not with shame, but with fury.

“I said nothing,” Jeremy replied coldly. “Don’t put words in my mouth.”
Lionel gave a mocking chuckle. “Silence is an answer.”

“It’s not,” Jeremy shot back. “It’s me deciding whether you’re worth replying to.”

Lionel’s smile faded slightly. “Then deny it.”

Jeremy stepped closer, voice low and steady. “Even if I was working here, what exactly gives you the right to call me disgusting?”

Lionel’s jaw tightened. “Because I know you. Or at least I thought I did.”

“You don’t know anything about me,” Jeremy snapped. “You see a club name and suddenly you’re acting like a saint.”

Before Lionel could respond, the doors of The Eagle opened again.

Daniel stepped out, tension instantly filling his face when he sensed the hostility.

“What’s going on?” Daniel asked.

Lionel didn’t look at him. His eyes were locked on Jeremy. “Ask your friend.”

Daniel’s gaze shifted to Jeremy, confused. “Friend?”

Jeremy exhaled sharply. “He thinks I work here.”

Daniel blinked. “What?”

Lionel laughed dryly. “Don’t tell me you didn’t know.”

“Jeremy doesn’t work here.”Daniel’s expression hardened.

“Then why was he inside?” Lionel demanded.

Daniel hesitated for half a second.

“I came to see him.” Jeremy answered Instead.

Lionel mockingly laughed out loud ” Daniel don’t tell me you were pouncing Jeremy’s ass ,”.

Daniel clenched his fists tight restraining himself from punching Lionel.

Lionel was never like this , why was he acting this way ?

Jeremy’s voice trembled, but his eyes were blazing.

“Enough! I only came to borrow money from Daniel. You’re so judgmental, Lionel. I hate you! Just because you’re rich, you think you have the right to look down on poor people like me. Disgusting.”

The word sliced through the air.

Before Lionel could react, Jeremy turned and walked away, shoulders stiff, pride barely holding him together.

Silence fell.

And then it hit.

Hard.

Guilt flooded Lionel’s chest so violently it almost stole his breath.

Without thinking, he slapped himself.
The sharp sting spread across his cheek.

“What’s wrong with me?!” he yelled into the empty parking lot.

Daniel didn’t look angry.

He looked disappointed.

And somehow, that was worse.

He shook his head slowly and turned to leave.

“Dan…” Lionel called out, desperation creeping into his voice.

“Don’t.” Daniel’s tone was firm, colder than Lionel had ever heard it.

Lionel froze.

“You humiliated him,” Daniel continued without turning around. “You didn’t even ask what was going on. You just judged him.”

“I didn’t mean—”

“That doesn’t matter,” Daniel cut in sharply. “Intent doesn’t erase damage.”

Lionel’s throat tightened.

Daniel finally looked back at him, eyes heavy. “You have everything, Lionel. And somehow you still act like it makes you better than everyone else.”

That hurt.

Daniel turned again and he walked away.

Tears flooded Lionel’s eyes immediately.

How could he be so harsh towards Jeremy?

Leonard’s car sped down the highway like a beast set loose.

His knuckles were white against the steering wheel, jaw locked so tight it hurt.

The image wouldn’t leave his head.
Giselle.

Smirking.

Pulling Bruce closer.

Kissing his cheek.

His grip tightened.

He slammed his horn angrily as a car slowed in front of him.

Hooooonk!

The driver ahead swerved slightly, startled.

“Move!” Leonard growled under his breath, pressing the horn again — longer this time.

The sound pierced through the night.
He ran a frustrated hand through his hair.

“What’s wrong with me?” he muttered.
He wasn’t angry at Bruce.

Not really.

He was angry at himself.

For standing there.

For acting calm.

For sliding into his car like it didn’t matter.

He should have dragged Bruce away.

Should have broken Bruce’s cheekbones.

Should have—

Leonard hit the horn again, violently.
The memory replayed in slow motion in his mind.

Bruce’s flushed face.

Giselle’s bored expression.

That smirk.
She did it on purpose.

And he reacted exactly the way she wanted.

He let out a humorless laugh.
“Control yourself,” he told himself sharply.

But jealousy burned through his chest like fire.

By the time the gates of his mansion came into view, his eyes were dark.
Not just with anger.

But with something far more dangerous—

Possessiveness.

And Leonard had never liked losing what he considered his.

He can’t just loose her…. again.

Never.

Not this life time.

Or any to come.

[ Rumi’s room ]<That same night>

The air is filled with different mixtures of drugs , alcohol and cigarettes smokes.

Rumi’s on the bed drowning herself with alcohol, she’s cry and laughing at the same time like a maniac .

The door creaked open and Vincent stepped in ,he has been knocking since but she didn’t respond so he came in uninvited.

” Vinny,’ Rumi grinned, she’s clearly not in her sensed.

Vincent used his palms to cover his nose he can’t stand the smell of hard drugs.

Rumi looks horrible .

Her eyes are pale , skin also.

” Do you have my answer yet ?” Rumi asked drowsily .

Vincent hesitated , as their manager he is responsible for their wellbeing,, if he doesn’t agree to what she Is insisting on she won’t stop doing drugs . If her agency finds about it her image is going to be ruined…. forever.

” Okay,” Vincent sighed.

The drowsiness disappeared immediately and a wide smiled tugged on her lips.

She packed all the remaining drugs , went into the bathroom and flushed it into the toilet.

” Vinny,’ Rumi purred stepping out of the bathroom and landed on the bed falling asleep.

Vincent used the sheets to gently cover her then he cleaned the room and sprayed an air freshener.

When he was done , he switched off the lights and he stepped out of her room closing the room’s door carefully.

His gaze flickered to Giselle , she’s walking back to her room , she came downstairs to get some water.

TWO DAYS LATER*
[LIAM’S MANSION]

Tate’s eyes lazily flickered open , she turned to the other side of the bed but Liam wasn’t there

She frowned slightly, sitting up. Memories from last night rushed back immediately.

Liam’s serious face.

His firm tone.

The condition.

“If you try to take revenge on PinkPop again, Tate… there won’t be a wedding.”

Her chest tightened.

She had laughed at first, thinking he was joking.

” Liam you might have stopped me from getting my revenge on PinkPop but you can’t stop me from getting revenge on Aimee,” Tate smirked.

She picked up her phone and she dialed a line.

PINK POP MANSION – GISELLE’S ROOM

Giselle sat in front of her vanity mirror, one leg crossed over the other as she carefully applied a soft stroke of eyeliner.

The room was quiet except for the faint hum of the air conditioner.

Two days.
Two whole days.

No calls.
No texts.

She leaned closer to the mirror, blending her blush with slow, precise movements.

And surprisingly—
She liked it.
Her lips curved slightly.
“So he finally decided to behave,” she murmured to her reflection.

No intense stares.
No possessive energy.
No cold commands masked as concern.

Peace.

She picked up her lipstick and applied it carefully, tilting her chin up.

But as she capped it and set it down, her fingers paused for a split second.

Two days.

Leonard wasn’t the type to stay silent.
Not after what she did.

She leaned back in her chair, studying herself in the mirror.

She’s extremely excited and happy today , who wouldn’t be ,her new music featuring Bruce would be released today.

Yay!

Giselle’s heels clicked softly against the marble floor as she descended the staircase and stepped outside.

The morning sun glinted off her car, parked at the bottom of the driveway.

Her phone rang , it’s Tate , she answered it anyways.

” What do you want ?Tate .” Giselle snapped not trying to hide her disdain.

” There’s a courier guy walking towards you right now , Just read whatever he gives you ,” Tate said and she ended the call.

Giselle smirked when she saw the courier coming closer , he handed her Aimee’s old diary from college days , he bowed and left.

” Strange ,” Giselle muttered.

Giselle flipped open the diary, her eyes catching a page dated:

2022

She read the words slowly, letting each sentence sink in.

“I can’t stand Giselle. I don’t even know why I pretended to be her friend. She’s only pretty—that’s it. That’s all anyone ever notices about her. Guys fawn over her, people listen to her, everyone praises her like she’s some kind of goddess… and it makes me sick. Every time I see someone smile at her, laugh at her jokes, or even glance her way, I feel my blood boil. I hate that she doesn’t even notice what she’s doing to me, how easy it is for her to charm everyone without even trying. And me? I’ve been stuck trying to get the same attention, the same recognition, the same admiration she gets effortlessly.

“I’ve only been her friend because it gave me access to everything I couldn’t have on my own—her connections, her popularity, the way she lights up every room she walks into. But I hate her for it. I hate the way she smiles at guys and how they hang on her every word. I hate how people listen to her, respect her, even like her more than me. I can’t stand it. I can’t stand her. She’s fake, and I’ve been faking right along with her, but inside… I despise her. Every little thing she does—her laugh, her style, the way she carries herself—it makes me want to scream.

“Sometimes I catch myself watching her, feeling this burning, twisted envy. She doesn’t even try to win people over—they just fall for her. And me? I have to scheme, plan, manipulate… and even then, it’s never enough. It’s not fair. She’s everything I wish I could be, and it drives me insane. If anyone knew how much I truly hated her, they’d understand why I smile when I see her stumble, why I feel a secret satisfaction when things don’t go perfectly for her. She makes me want to claw my way to the top, just to prove that I can be better than her. But deep down, I know I’ll never be like her. I’ll never have that effortless charm, that natural allure, that ability to make everyone, especially the guys, notice her first. And that… that makes me hate her even more.”

” I even stole her boyfriend away from her behind her back , but still yet she didn’t break .”

2025

“Tate… that girl is dangerous. She can’t be controlled like Giselle. I’ve been watching her, and she doesn’t obey rules, she doesn’t bend, she doesn’t care about what people think. I need to do something about her before she ruins everything. I can’t let her interfere. If she keeps going the way she does, she’ll destroy every plan I’ve made, and I can’t allow that. Tate… she’s unpredictable, and I don’t know if anyone can contain her. Maybe it’s time I make a move, quietly, before it’s too late.”

Tears brimmed out of Giselle’s eyes , everything was a sharm , Aimee only pretended to be her friend..

Giselle’s heart shattered into a million pieces but she quickly composed herself and wiped away her tears.

She dialed Leonard’s line instantly.

He answered immediately but he didn’t say anything but she was sure he was probably smirking deviously.

” Leo , are you busy ? let’s hang out together…. ALONE.” Giselle requested in her sweetest angelic voice .

Game on.
