[๐๐ฐ๐จ ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ – ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐]Kai was dragged forward, Danzoโs hand tight on the back of his jacket, the cold barrel of a gun pressed against his temple.
Every step made his pulse spike as he was shoved into the dimly lit warehouse room. His eyes immediately locked onto a figure in the cornerโEmma, laying on the floor, her hair messy, her face scratched and tired.
โKai?โ she whispered, surprise in her voice.
He froze for a fraction of a second, then fury overtook him.
โYou bi+ch! I told you to keep your mouth shut!โ His voice was low, guttural.
Before she could react, he lunged, grabbing her by the shoulders and throwing a series of vicious punches across her torso and face.
โWhy the hell canโt you just stay quiet?!โ he yelled, striking her again and again.
Emma laughed, blood trickling from the corner of her mouth.
โOh, Kaiโฆ you really are a dumbass. A weak little fool. Youโre so quick to manipulate others, and yet it was so easy for them to get you!โ
Kaiโs jaw tightened.
โYouโฆ you donโt even deserve to breathe after what youโve done! If you didn’t mess up, I wouldn’t be here in this stupid mess you made. You couldn’t do anything right..!โ He struck her again, a harsh uppercut that sent her head snapping back.
โYou know, I donโt care if you love me or not,โ Emma spat through blood. โYou never did! But Iโm not just some pawn to be used, Kai. Youโre pathetic if you think this is the way it ends!โ
Her defiance only fueled him. He slammed her into the wall, her chair cracking beneath the force. His fists were relentless, raining down strikes across her face and ribs, each blow harder than the last.
โIโm not going to let you talk back to me like that!โ
Emma tried to fight back, kicking, elbowing, clawing at him, but Kaiโs fury was overwhelming. Every move she made, he countered.
He grabbed her by the hair, slammed her to the concrete floor, then pinned her down with his weight, continuing to hit her with precisionโno mercy, no hesitation.
Her laughs turned into grunts, then screams, then finally a ragged silence as the last of her resistance crumbled. Blood coated her face, her body trembling, her strength gone.
Kaiโs chest heaved, his own fists bloody, but he didnโt stop until Emma lay still beneath him.
He finally stepped back, breathing heavily, looking down at her lifeless body. His hands shook, the rage fading into a cold, hollow emptiness.
โโฆThis is what happens when you cross me.โ Kai wiped the sweat and blood from his face, chest heaving.
โNice,โ Nancy said, tilting her head. โYou killed your very ownโฆ bi+ch.โ
Kai spun around, eyes wild, fists tightening as she walks in.
โYou bitch! Do you want something from me?!โ he shouted, his chest heaving with rage and exhaustion.
She chuckled.
Kaiโs head snapped toward her. โYouโฆ you think this is funny?! What do you want from me?!โ
โYou must think you can get away with what you did to Sky,โ Nancy said, her voice low and steady, each word deliberate.
โHe deserved it,โ Kai growled, stepping closer, his fists clenched, his body trembling with a mix of rage and fear.
Nancy shook her head, her expression hardening.
โNot a good enough reason.โ She paused, letting him simmer in the tension.
โSoโฆ what, you think you’re going to kill me?โKaiโs eyes narrowed.
She smiled, slow, chilling. โNo. I wonโt kill youโฆ but I will make sure you regret ever thinking you could go near Sky again.โ
Kai roared, lunging at her, but Martin was faster. He grabbed Kai from behind, pinning his arms and forcing him to the ground.
โMove and youโre done,โ Martin warned.
Kai struggled, wild and desperate, but before he could strike again, Nancy raised a small syringe.
The needle glinted under the dim warehouse lights as she plunged it into his neck.
Kai screamed, thrashing violently as the poison spread through his veins. His legs buckled. โWhatโฆ what the hellโฆ is that?!โ
Nancy crouched slightly, looking him dead in the eye. โPoison. Slow-acting. But donโt worryโฆ I have the antidote.โ
Kaiโs eyes went wide.
โGive itโฆ give it now!โ He gasped, shaking, the pain in his body matching the fury in his mind.
Nancy leaned closer, her lips almost brushing his ear.
โYou think Iโm here to just have pity on you, Kai? No. Iโm here to make sure you never touch Sky again. You understand me?โ
โIโฆ I wonโtโฆโ He wheezed, voice cracking, barely able to breathe.
Nancy stood, circling him like a predator. โYou will never, ever, go near him again. You hear me?โ
โIโฆ I wonโtโฆ I swearโฆโKaiโs chest rose and fell rapidly.
Nancy finally stopped, raising a hand. With a swift motion, she tossed a small vialโthe antidoteโonto a pile of rough, jagged debris in the corner of the warehouse.
It clattered, rolling between splintered wood and broken metal.
Kaiโs eyes tracked it instinctively, his body trembling violently.
โTheโฆ antidoteโฆ!โ he wheezed, crawling toward it, but the pain in his limbs made every movement agonizing.
Nancy laughed softly, a dangerous, cold sound.
โLoser. And rememberโif you ever think about Sky again, this is the least of what I can do to you.โ
Danzo and Martin stood behind her, silent but watchful, ready to step in if Kai made any foolish attempt at resistance.
Kai gritted his teeth, straining, dragging himself inch by inch across the concrete floor, his burned and bruised arms scraping against debris, splinters cutting his skin.
He tried to snatch the vial but kept losing balance, rolling over shards of wood, cursing and gagging.
Nancyโs eyes glimmered with satisfaction as she turned and walked toward the exit.
โConsider this a warning, Kai. Stay away from himโฆ or next time, I wonโt let you crawl for the antidote. Got it?โ
Kaiโs lips trembled as he crawled closer, rage and pain warring inside him. โIโฆ got itโฆ I swearโฆโ
Nancy didnโt look back. With Danzo and Martin flanking her, she stepped out of the warehouse, leaving Kai struggling in the rubble, desperate to reach the antidote, his chest heaving, every muscle burning, realizing fully the cost of crossing herโand underestimating her.
He finally grabbed it with trembling fingers, uncorked it, and drank it quickly. Relief washed over him, but it was bitter, almost humiliating.
He lay there, panting, staring at the ceiling, knowing he had been beaten.
โF+k.โ
_______
[๐๐ค๐ฒ’๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐]
Nancy moved easily around the kitchen, barefoot on the cool tiles, sleeves of his shirt rolled up to her elbows. It swallowed her frame, the hem brushing mid-thigh, his scent still clinging to the fabric.
She stirred the pan, tasted, adjusted the seasoning without hesitation.
She is actually a very good cook.
The food was almost done when she wiped her hands and checked her phone.
Skyโs live had ended.
So he was done with the fan meeting.
She smiled faintly and tapped his name, putting the phone to her ear.
He picked up on the third ring.
โHey,โ his voice came through, slightly hoarse. โYou miss me already?โ
She leaned back against the counter. โYou done with your fans?โ
โFor now. Why? You jealous?โ
She scoffed softly. โPlease. Just calling to tell you not to eat outside.โ
There was a pause.
โโฆWhy?โ
โI cooked.โ
Another pause. Longer this time.
โYou cooked,โ He repeated slowly, like he needed to hear it twice.
โYes,โ she said simply. โIโm almost done.โ
He laughed under his breath. โYouโre serious?โ
โDead serious. So donโt stop anywhere to eat. Come straight home.โ
โYouโre seriously cooking for me? That’s new. What? You going soft on me already?โ He said.
โShut up…or I won’t give you any.โ she replied.
โWow. Should I be scared?โHis tone dropped, amused.
โObviously.โ she said lightly. โYou should be grateful I even bothered.โ
He chuckled. โYou know what? Now Iโm curious.โ
โAbout the food?โ
โNo. Just realized that I actually want something else too.โ He added casually.
She stilled. โSomething else?โ
โMhm.โ
โโฆLike what?โ
โIโll tell you when I get back.โ
Her brows knit. โWhy not now?โ
โBecause,โ He said, voice low, teasing, โI want to see your face when I ask.โ
She huffed. โYouโre annoying.โ
โAnd you like it.โ
She hung up before he could say more, shaking her head as she turned back to the stove. But her lips were still curved into a smile as she plated the food.
–30 Minutes Later —
Sky pushed open the door to his villa. The scent of spices and simmering food hit him first, warm and inviting, pulling a tired smile to his face after a long day.
He shut the door behind him with a gentle click, his eyes immediately drawn to herโNancy, perched at the dining table, her hair cascading over one shoulder.
He walked closer.
“Hi,” she said, her voice soft, teasing, lips curving into a welcoming smile.
“Hi,” he replied, leaning down to brush his lips against her cheek in a tender peck that lingered just a second too long, savoring the warmth of her skin before pulling out the chair and sitting across from her.
“So, try it. And tell me how it is,” She urged, nodding toward the food with expectant eyes, her fingers drumming lightly on the table.
Sky’s gaze held hers, mischief dancing in his. “I told you that I wanted something else too, right?”
“Is it more important than the food?” She arched a brow, amusement lacing her tone.
“Probably,” He said, his voice dropping low, serious now.
She frowned playfully, leaning forward.
“I’d be really happy if you grant my request,” He added, his eyes locking onto hers with quiet intensity.
“And if I don’t? What would you do?” she challenged, tilting her head.
“Well, that depends on your answer.” He smirked, but there was no hiding the vulnerability beneath it.
She looked at him, really looked, her expression softening as the air thickened with anticipation. “What is it?”
“Be my girlfriend,” He said simply, the words hanging between them like a heartbeat.
“Girlfriend? Isn’t that too soon?” She smirked, but her eyes betrayed the flutter in her chest.
“C’mon Nancy, don’t start with those mind games of yours. I’m serious here,” He pleaded, his face pulling into that irresistibly cute poutโeyes wide, lips slightly parted, like a puppy begging for scraps.
“Awwn, you’re so cute right now,” She cooed, reaching out instinctively.
He captured both her hands in his, warm and strong, lifting them to his lips.
He kissed her knuckles one by one, slow and reverent, his gaze never leaving hersโdeep brown eyes holding her captive, whispering promises without words.
“You love me, right?” he asked, voice husky, thumb stroking her skin.
“Hey, of course I do. You know I love youโwho else do you think I love?” She laughed lightly, but her pulse raced under his touch.
“Then be my girlfriend. I want you to be mine officially. I don’t want to keep playing around and then someone might take you away from me.” His grip tightened just enough to convey the depth of his fear, his protectiveness.
“No one’s gonna take you from me, and no one will take me from you either,” she assured him, squeezing back.
“So, you’ll be my girlfriend then?” Hope lit his features like dawn breaking.
Nancy’s breath caught, the weight of it all crashing sweetly over her. Before she could form words, Sky surged forward, closing the gap across the table.
His lips crashed into hers in a kiss that was pure fireโf+king electric, consuming. It started fierce, his hands releasing hers to cradle her face, fingers tangling in her curls as he poured every ounce of longing into it.
Nancy gasped softly against his mouth, then surrendered, kissing him back with equal hunger, her chair scraping as she leaned in.
His tongue teased hers in a slow, sensual dance, tasting of mint and desire, bodies inching closer until the table edge dug into his ribs.
When they broke apart, lips swollen and eyes glazed, Nancy whispered against his mouth.
“Yes, Sky. I’ll be your girlfriend. All yours.”
Sky’s grin was victorious, radiant. He stayed close, noses brushing. “I hope you have no objections if I make our relationship public?”
Nancy pulled back slightly, eyes widening in shock. “Public? Now?”
Sky read her face, chuckling softly as he traced her jaw.
“Of course everyone deserves to know who the love of my life is. I want all the boys to know you’re takenโhands off my queen. And all the girls? Let them be jealous of the hottie who’s locked down the hottest guy in the industry.”
Nancy’s shock melted into amused laughter, bright and bubbling, her hand flying to her mouth.
“Oh my God, Skyโyou’re such a show-off. Fine, make it public. Just prepare for the chaos.”
With a satisfied hum, he finally sat back fully, grabbing his fork and digging into the food.
“Mmm, this is incredible, babeโspicy, perfect, just like you.” He ate with relish, stealing glances at her, their fingers now linked across the table.
________
[๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ’๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ – 4pm]
Sasha woke up with a sharp breath, her body screaming before her mind fully caught up. Pain bloomed everywhereโher ribs, her arms, her thighs.
Even shifting on the bed sent a dull ache rippling through her bones.
Bruises peeked out from beneath the oversized shirt she wore, dark and angry against her skin. Purple. Yellowing. Some still fresh.
He had been careful, as always never to hit her face. Never where people could see too easily.
It didnโt matter. Pain didnโt care about appearances.
For a week now, she hadnโt stepped outside the villa. Not once, not even for work.. Her phone sat on the nightstand, face down, useless.
Sheโd managed to text Rias once, just onceโbefore Hunter started keeping it with him.
Being with Hunter had become a cage.
A beautiful one from the outside, a living hell inside.
The door creaked open.
Sasha flinched instantly, her body reacting before her heart did. Her fingers curled into the bedsheet as he walked in, hands tucked casually into his pockets like this was just another ordinary afternoon.
โYouโre awake,โ Hunter said flatly.
She lifted her gaze slowly. He looked calm. Too calm. Like he hadnโt shattered her sense of safety.
โBabeโฆโ Her voice came out soft, fragile. โAre youโฆ are you still mad at me?โ
He walked closer until he stood at the edge of the bed, towering over her. She could smell his cologne, familiar and nauseating all at once.
โPlease stop,โ she whispered. โYouโre always hurting meโฆ and it hurts.โ
His jaw tightened. Then his hand came upโfastโgripping her jaw, fingers digging into her skin, forcing her to look at him.
โIโm pissed,โ He said coldly, โ….that you had the guts to cheat on me. Not only did you go on a date with him behind my back, you let him kiss you…on your fucking lips.โ
Her eyes filled instantly.
โIโm sorry,โ she breathed. โI swear, Iโm sorry.โ
โSorry? Sasha, I asked you who that guy was and you lied that he was a coworker. Then you go behind my back and….f+k…!โ He shut his eyes.
He leaned closer, his voice lowering, turning dangerous. โListen to me, Sasha. Youโre mine. Do you understand that?โ
She nodded weakly, biting her lip.
โIf I ever see another man look at you againโฆ if anyone even thinks they have a chance with youโฆโ His grip tightened just enough to make her gasp. โIโll kill him. Slowly, and I’ll make you watch.โ
Her breath trembled. Fear sat heavy in her chest, but she swallowed it down.
He released her jaw suddenly and leaned in, pressing his lips to hers. The kiss was claiming, suffocating, nothing gentle about it.
She stayed still, frozen, while tears slipped silently down her cheeks.
โI love you, Sasha,โ He murmured against her lips, his hand sliding possessively down her arm, fingers lingering where bruises hid beneath fabric.
She didnโt respond. She couldnโt.
Her tears kept falling as he held her like something he ownedโlike something that wasnโt allowed to break, even while it was being destroyed.
________
[๐๐๐ฑ๐ข๐๐จ – ๐๐๐ค ๐๐ซ๐จ๐จ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ญ๐]
Rias stepped out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped loosely around her shoulders as she dried her hair, the scent of soap still clinging to her skin.
She moved on autopilot, like she had been doing all week. Shower. Work. Smile. Pretend.
She picked up her phone, thumb hovering with a familiar hope she already knew would be crushed.
No missed calls.
No new messages.
Her own chat sat there, open like a wound that refused to close. She sighed and dropped the phone back onto the bed.
It had been a week since she returned to Mexico, a week since she threw herself back into hospital shifts, laughter with friends, late nights out, even letting a few boys flirt with her just to feel something different.
Nothing worked. She couldn’t get her mind of him. It already went past love, she deeply wanted to know how he was doing.
Maybe time was the only thing she hadnโt tried properly yet.
โRiasโฆโ Annieโs voice came from the doorway as she stepped into the room.
โMom,โ Rias said, glancing up. โDo you need anything?โ
โIโm going shopping. I need to pick up a few things. Want to come with me?โ
โSure. Iโll get dressed in a bit.โ
Annie nodded and walked further in, sitting on the edge of the bed while Rias moved toward her closet.
As she did, Annieโs eyes driftedโjust brieflyโto the phone lying there. The screen was still lit.
Romeo.
Her breath hitched.
The thread was long. Endless. Message after message, stacked one over the other. Annie didnโt even need to count. There were dozens. All sent. None answered by him.
Rias walked back in, dressed now, and froze the second she saw where Annie was looking.
She grabbed her phone quickly and locked it.
โCโmon, Mom,โ she said, forcing a small smile. โStop sneak-peeking at my messages.โ
Annieโs expression softened, but her voice stayed firm. โWhy are you repeatedly texting him, Rias? You told me his girlfriend died. This is his time to grieve. Give him privacy. Give him respect.โ
โI swear Iโm not bothering him about us,โ Rias said quickly, her voice cracking just a little. โI justโฆ wanted to check up on him. To know how heโs doing.โ
โAnd I insist you donโt,โ Annie replied gently. โBaby, let him go already.โ
Rias shook her head, tears threatening but not falling. โI already left Tokyo, okay? I did that. Iโll try to kill my feelings for him, but itโs not something Iโll just wake up one day and be able to do.โ
Annie watched her quietly, pain flickering in her eyes.
Rias turned toward the door. โLetโs just go.โ
She walked out first.
Annie sighed deeply, shook her head, and followed.

[๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ฎ ๐
๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ]
Romeo opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water, the cold air brushing his face for a brief second before he shut the door.
He twisted the cap open and drank, but it didnโt help. Nothing did anymore.
For the past week, his life had narrowed down to smoke, alcohol, and the dull, constant ache pounding behind his eyes. He barely slept.
When he did, it was never peaceful. Every time he closed his eyes, he saw her. Heard her voice. Felt the weight of her body going limp in his arms.
Hinata had come by more than once to โcheck on him.โ He ignored her every time. He ignored everyone.
Since Biancaโs funeral, the outside world might as well not exist.
The only time he left the house was to see her.
Bianca was buried in a private mausoleum Romeo had personally commissioned. It was nothing ordinary, with marble walls, polished stone floors, glass panels etched with her name, her dates, and a single line beneath it that only he understood.
He made sure it was graceful, maintained, untouched by anyone who didnโt belong there.
Every day, without fail, he went there.
He brought fresh flowers. White ones. Sometimes red. Sometimes both. He knelt in front of her grave and spoke to her quietly, like she was still listening. Like she might answer if he waited long enough.
One day, he brought a small bag and placed it carefully beside the flowers.
Baby clothes.
Tiny socks. A soft blanket. Things that should have never been there yet somehow felt necessary. He stood there for a long time after, staring at them, his jaw clenched so tight it hurt.
Another day, he left the ring.
The ring he had planned to put on her finger. The ring heโd imagined slipping on her hand while she rolled her eyes and pretended not to cry.
He set it gently on the stone, his fingers lingering before pulling away like it burned.
Coming back to the house afterward always felt worse.
The silence followed him everywhere. Her absence was loud.
He leaned against the kitchen counter now, water bottle still in his hand, staring at nothing.
If only he had told her sooner.
If only he had made her stay back.
If only he had proteced her. If only he had been faster. If only he had seen Derek coming. If only he had done something differently.
The questions never stopped. They stacked on top of each other until his chest felt too tight to breathe.
He dragged a hand down his face, his fingers trembling slightly.
โShe trusted me,โ he muttered to the empty room. โAnd I failed her.โ
He heard the sharp knock echoing through his empty house. Living alone meant handling it himself.
He swung the door open, eyes narrowing at Nancy standing there uninvited.
She pushed past him without a word, striding inside like she owned the place.
“What are you doing here?” His voice was low, edged with ice.
“Don’t get me wrongโI’m not here because of my sister.”
“I never thought you were.” He shut the door with a deliberate click. “What do you want? I don’t think we’re close enough for you to come to my house.”
“We’re about to be.”Her chin lifted defiantly.
He arched a brow, arms crossing over his broad chest.
“I want to join the family Yakuza.”
Romeo’s gaze raked her from head to toe, petite frame, soft features, zero scars. Amateurs like her were liabilities, fresh meat for enemies.
He seized her elbow in a vise grip, yanking her toward the door with effortless strength. She stumbled, but he didn’t flinch.
“Romeoโ”
“Go home, Nancy. Don’t spew that crap again.” His fingers dug deeper, bruising bone.
“Why not?!” She twisted, fire in her eyes.
“You’re a kid. You know nothing. Grandpa must’ve already refused, right?.” He shoved her harder, her back slamming against the doorframe.
“That’s why I’m here. You’re the one in charge of the clan now. You call the shots.” She winked.
“Out.”
“But I’m serious. I want you to train me..! I want to get stronger andโ”
Her plea died as Romeo’s fist cracked across her jaw like a sledgehammer. Bone met bone with a wet thud.
She staggered, spine crashing into the door, blood spraying from split lips. Pain exploded through her skull, vision blurring, but she forced herself upright, wiping the crimson streak with the back of her hand.
He loomed over her, unmovedโpredator assessing prey. No rage in his eyes, just void-black calculation.
“I don’t tolerate weaklings. They drag the clan down. My training? Brutal. It’s either you survive, or you die. Begging me to stop won’t save you. Screaming won’t stop me with. Fail once, and I’ll carve your failure into your corpse.”
Chills raced down her spine. She swallowed hard, tasting copper.
A ghost of a smirk twisted his lipsโnot amusement, but the promise of violence.
“Training starts 7 a.m. sharp tomorrow.” He said coldly, and walked away from her.
Nancy’s lips curved into a shaky smile through the blood.
Mission Accomplished.
