Anger was not enough to describe how Lucus’s was feeling , never in his life has he ever saw such disgrace.
He might the wolves but he hates human even more and he is not going to tolerate this nonsense.
He can’t let Harding and that girl continue to be closer, he just can’t risk to see his son in trouble with the Vampire council and the king.
He might be next inline with the throne but if he breaks the rules then he might killed along with his so called human girl.
As he was pacing around someone appeared behind him and he knew exactly who that person is .
“Hardin please tell me you cut ties with that human girl, please”.Lucus spoke and Hardin only frowned.
“You don’t get to decide what I should do and do not do , the fact that you actually proposed a marriage with that dog of a king makes me so freaking angry .”Hardin said calmly but you can hear that he was trying to suppress his anger
“I had to, That was the only thing to keep you away from that thing . Do you know the consequences of that mistake you are making .”Lucus spoke and Hardin scoffed.
“The only “thing” is your whøre of a women you married. Ava that’s her name ,and don’t you dare refer to a thing. “He muttered and that was the last string.
Lucus was furious.”You might be powerful but I’m your father and I will never let you disrespect me like that.
“You lost all privileges of becoming a father when you married that thing of yours. She was the one that killed mother , but I just kept quiet since I only know when I’ll end her. “He muttered and disappeared out the house.
Lucus only gritted his teeth in anger and frustration.

AVA’S ROOM*
She has been trying so hard to sleep but she just couldn’t even sleep a wink. She is really excited that she and Hardin are together.
She knows that her man will deal with that stupid Darcie. She kept changing position but hard luck cause she never even closed her eyes.
Then a very brilliant idea came to mind. She got up and started jumping on the bed .
“Woah, this is fun .”she said with a smirk and intentionally made it squick so her mom would wake up.
And that was brilliant cause her mother barged in her room with a robe, holding a frying pan and large spoon.
“What’s going on sweetie?!”she said ready for action and Ava chuckled.
“Sorry , mom I couldn’t sleep so I decided to do something with my legs so I can sleep.”Ava said looking at her mom with a small smile .
Her mother chuckled”Fine you can continue your childish jumping kiddo.”she said rubbing her eyes and indeed Ava continued jumping.
Her mother spotted her phone and secretly took it and left Ava’s room.

Ava’s mother walked her room and opened her phone, she knows her password so it was really easy.
She went through some messages and as expected she saw the message from the doctor and her heart broke into a million pieces.
The phone fell out of her hand and sat on the floor with so much sarrow, she lost her husband and now her little girl.
Why is life like this?
Why take the only people she loves in the whole world?
She remembers how her beautiful Ava first came to life, she and her husband were so happy. They were both so happy to become parents.
But now each and every loved one she cherishes seems to be perishing one by one.

HILLS UNIVERSITY*
As usual it was noisy, and students were roaming and chatting non stop. Snow arrive and she was actually looking for her boyfriend.
They really need to talk.
As she was searching she saw Ava and her jaw almost dropped cause for the first she came to school in a skirt.
Yes she wears them, but only when out on outings but never going to school in them. She is wearing a pink skirt, shite T-shirt and also white Snickers.

As Ava walked in she could actually hear so many comments and she really is uncomfortable.
She approached Snow and she chuckled seeing her shocked expression.
“See anything you like? “Ava teased and Snow smiled widely.
“I love everything about your outfit, nice seeing the change.”Snow said and they both walked down the the whole hallway.
As she walked with her friend she could feel numerous eyes on her and she wished she could pluck out their eyes.
Just then she and Snow collided with Darcie and as usual she was with her minions.
Darcie glared at her like she was a threat, she was jealous. How dare this human have wider hips and George’s legs than her.
“So you thought if you dress like that Hardin will look at you pathetic body”she said with laughter and Jajah joined in the laughter.
“You always think everything is about you don’t you. I’m fed up with your rotten attitude.”Ava said calmly her eyes showing no expression.
“I wish you could just die already, the world would be a better place without you “Jajah said and Darcie smiled getting close to her Ava.
“At least I’m not an seeking attention like the dirt you are.”she said said chuckling. Snow was just there watching in anger.
Darcie is so annoying.
“I’ll make sure my fiance takes care of you and you will regret the day you chose to mess with me.”Darcie said proudly
But just then students started screaming and making way for just one person.
HARDIN.
Darcie ran to him but before she could even touch him he glared at her “Fiance? That’s crap! You are not my woman and you’ll never be and it’s the last I’ll ever hear you threatening my girlfriend.”Hardin spoke calm but his rage was between the words .
His eyes were showing disgust as he stared at her and students gasped.
Darcie and her friends were shocked.
He walked towards Ava and held her waist possessvely like she was going to dissapear anytime soon.
“Is she bugging you.”he said and Ava smirked.
“Nope, I think attention seekers like her are no threat at all.”she said and he chuckled.
Darcie’s knees dropped and her eyes were teary.”Noooooo!??? You can’t do that to me , please.!!she screamed with tears.
Just the Max was watching with so much jealousy, this is war. He will do anything to eliminate Hardin.
