“Bluey, you have got to be joking. There is no way Hades is the Joker.” Hyceโ€™s voice cracked as if he physically couldnโ€™t accept it.

“What makes you say that?” Bluey asked calmly.

“But what could be his reason? I mean, we all know Hades can be ruthless but this? Killing Natalie? Being the Joker? No. I refuse to believe it.” Hyce shook his head hard.

“Exactly,” Bluey said. “We already know Hades is a ruthless Ace student. He fits every requirement. Tell me who else has the potential?”

“Bluey has a point.”Sergio crossed his arms.

Hyce snapped toward him. “You believe her too?”

“At the duel,” Bluey said, her voice flattening, “I wanted to stab him. Rue stopped me. Why? Because Hades is important to them. That tells me everything.”

Hyce sank into a chair like his legs finally gave out.

“So what now?” Sergio asked quietly. “Itโ€™s not like heโ€™s going to admit it. Did Natalie find out and thatโ€™s why she died?”

“Whether he admits it or not is irrelevant,” Bluey said, stepping toward the door. “I already know what he is. Thatโ€™s all I need.”

Hyce lifted his head. “So do you hate him now?”

Bluey paused, hand hovering over the handle. She turned back.

“Why do you assume that I do?”

“Because it looks like you do,” Hyce said, voice growing small. “Heโ€™s your boyfriend andโ€””

“My relationship with Hades has nothing to do with this,” Bluey cut in. “And if you want an answer about whether I hate him or not? It depends on the answer he gives me.”

Hyceโ€™s expression shifted. Confusion, hurt, disbelief. Rain began hammering against the windows in a sudden heavy downpour.

Sergio stepped forward. “You both can stop glaring at each other. Bluey, head back. Itโ€™s late and we have a mission tomorrow.”

“Sure,” Bluey said, leaving the room without looking back.

Hyce exhaled shakily and started for the stairs.

“Babeโ€””

“Donโ€™t say anything right now, Sergio. Iโ€™m still trying to process all this.”

“Hey.” Sergio walked up behind him, gently taking his hand. His other hand brushed the hair from Hyceโ€™s face.

“I know how close you and Hades are. Heโ€™s your friend. Iโ€™m not telling you not to feel what youโ€™re feeling. But if he did something wrong, he has to face the consequences.”

Hyce pulled his hand free, frustration tightening his jaw.

“Whatever.” He turned and continued up the stairs.

“Hyceโ€ฆ”

No response.

“Hyce.” Sergioโ€™s voice softened, almost pleading.

But Hyce didnโ€™t stop. He disappeared around the hallway corner, leaving Sergio standing there with the rain pounding outside and a knot tightening in his chest.

โ˜…๐‡๐š๐๐ž๐ฌ’ ๐’๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐žโ˜…

Bluey entered the passcode and slipped into the suite, the soft beep echoing behind her.

She took off her shoes and walked barefoot across the quiet living room.

โ€œHades.โ€

Nothing.

She took a step toward the staircase, but something outside caught her eye.

Through the glass doors, she saw him standing in the open space, motionless under the pouring rain.

Bluey walked toward him, slid the glass doors open, and stepped into the cool night air.

Hades turned at the sound. His white sleeves shirt clung to his skin, soaked through, his black sweatp+nts dripping as the rain continued to fall over him.

โ€œBluey,โ€ he said, his voice low, almost fragile.

โ€œYouโ€™ll catch a cold,โ€ she murmured. โ€œWhy are you out here?โ€

โ€œCome join me.โ€ He lifted a hand toward her.

Bluey let her bag fall from her shoulder. She stepped forward, into the rain, letting it spill over her hair and clothes as she reached him.

She took his hand, and he pulled her close, closing the distance until there was nothing between their bodies but water.

Her arms slid around his neck.
His hands settled low on her waist, steadyโ€ฆ almost desperate.

Bluey stepped closer, her clothes already soaked as the rain clung to her skin. Hadesโ€™ hand slid from her waist to the small of her back, holding her as if letting go would break something inside him.

โ€œWhere were you? Iโ€™ve been looking for you,โ€ He said quietly, his voice lost somewhere between frustration and relief.

โ€œI was with Sergio and Hyce,โ€ she replied, fingers brushing the wet strands off his forehead.

โ€œYouโ€™ve been hanging out with them a lot lately.โ€ His thumb traced her waist, almost possessively.

โ€œWhy were you looking for me?โ€ she asked.

โ€œI wanted to talk to you.โ€

โ€œAbout?โ€ She lifted her chin, her fingers linking lightly behind his neck. โ€œDo you have something you want to tell me?โ€

โ€œIโ€ฆโ€ Hades swallowed, the words tightening in his chest.

Rain trailed down his jaw, dripping from his lashes as he stared at her like the truth physically hurt him.

He wanted to say it. His whole body screamed to confess, but something in him trembled, resisting.

โ€œI love you, Bluey. You know I do, right?โ€

She blinked once, slow, searching his face. โ€œDo you?โ€

โ€œHuh?โ€

โ€œYou wouldnโ€™t lie to me if you loved me,โ€ she said, voice steady, not pulling away.

โ€œI shouldnโ€™t talk like I donโ€™t have secrets of my own.โ€ Her breath fanned his lips. โ€œBut youโ€ฆ youโ€™ve been lying.โ€

Hades didnโ€™t step back. Instead, he slid his hand up her spine, guiding her gently into a slow movement, swaying her body with his like there was a rhythm in the falling rain.

Bluey let him, their bodies syncing naturally as he pulled her closer until her chest pressed to his.

The rain kept falling but the intensity between them drowned out everything else.

Hades lifted her hand, interlacing their fingers, and spun her slowly beneath his arm. Her wet hair fanned out as she twirled, her eyes locked on his the entire time.

When he pulled her back, she collided against him and his hands immediately gripped her waist, steadying her, keeping her there.

Bluey tipped her forehead to his. His breath was shaky. Hers was controlled.

โ€œYou canโ€™t hide behind that feeling,โ€ she whispered. โ€œLove isnโ€™t supposed to come with fear.โ€

His thumb traced her lower lip, trembling. โ€œIโ€™m not scared of you,โ€ he said, voice rough. โ€œIโ€™m scared of losing you.โ€

Bluey took the hand on her waist and guided it higher, placing it flat against her racing heart.

Then she placed her palm on his chest, mirroring him. The rain made their hands slip slightly, but neither moved them.

โ€œThen tell me what youโ€™re hiding,โ€ she murmured.

Hades leaned in, brushing the corner of her mouth in a barely-there kiss that felt more like a plea than affection. Blueyโ€™s fingers curled into his shirt, holding him in place.

He kissed her jaw next, then her cheek, moving slowly like each touch could be his last.

He tried to turn his face away, but she caught his chin with her fingers, bringing him back to her.

โ€œNatalie was a good girl, donโ€™t you think?โ€
Blueyโ€™s voice cracked through the storm.

Hades froze. His eyes widenedโ€”barely, but enough for her to see everything.

โ€œIโ€ฆ yeah.โ€

โ€œShe didnโ€™t deserve to die, donโ€™t you think?โ€
Her voice trembled, but it wasnโ€™t fear. It was anger. Hurt. Betrayal.

โ€œYesโ€ฆ she probably didnโ€™t deserve itโ€ฆโ€

โ€œThen why?โ€ฆโ€ She took a step back, her face tightening. โ€œWhyโ€”โ€

โ€œBluey?โ€ Hades reached for her, panicked.

She didnโ€™t answer. She walked to her bag at the doorway, rainwater dripping from her hair, her palms shaking slightly as she zipped it open.

โ€œBluey, thereโ€™s something I want to tellโ€”โ€

Click.

That metallic sound sliced the air.

Hades staggered backward immediately.

โ€œBlueyโ€ฆโ€ His voice cracked.

She turned slowly, arm raised, the gun steady despite the tears streaking down her cheeks.

โ€œTell me WHY you killed her!โ€

The words shattered out of her.

Hadesโ€™s breath hitchedโ€”then stopped altogether. His lips parted, but he couldnโ€™t speak. His knees buckled.

He sank to the wet floor, hands falling uselessly at his sides as the rain drenched him.

โ€œBlueyโ€ฆ Iโ€ฆโ€
His voice was barely human.

She stepped closer.

Her tears blended with the rain, endless.

Hades lowered his head, shoulders collapsing in defeat.
And thenโ€”he whispered it, soft, breaking:

โ€œForgive meโ€ฆโ€

Bluey choked on a sob โ€” then screamed.

โ€œForgive you?! Did you just tell me to forgive you?!โ€

The sky flashed, lightning crackling behind her silhouette.

He lifted his head, tears streaming, mouth trembling.

โ€œI didnโ€™t mean toโ€ฆ It wasnโ€™t my intentionโ€ฆ I swearโ€”โ€

โ€œThen WHY?!โ€ She stepped forward, gun pointed to his forehead.

โ€œWHY did you have to kill her?! Why do you have to be so HEARTLESS?! What about the other students, huh?! Why are you and your masters so wicked?!โ€

Hades sobbed, shoulders shaking uncontrollably.

โ€œI didnโ€™t want to do it! I donโ€™t like any of it! I donโ€™t have a choiceโ€”โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t care, Joker! Youโ€™re a liar. A murderer. Thatโ€™s what you are!โ€

โ€œBlueyโ€ฆ pleaseโ€ฆโ€

He reached desperately, grabbing her leg like a drowning man grabbing the last floating piece of wood.

โ€œPlease donโ€™t hate meโ€ฆโ€

She kicked him hard. His body hit the wet ground with a thud.

โ€œDonโ€™t you dare touch me!โ€

His vision blurred as he looked up at her, broken beyond recognition.

โ€œYou love me, right?โ€ he whispered, voice cracking. โ€œIf you love me…please…give me a chance to explain. I didnโ€™t mean for any of this.โ€

โ€œLove?โ€ Bluey cocked the gun, her finger resting on the trigger, steady and merciless.

โ€œI feel like putting a bullet in your brain. In Rueโ€™s brain. In Capoโ€™s brain. All of you disgusting pigs.โ€

She crouched down in front of him, rain dripping from her chin onto his cheek.

She whispered it.
Deadly. Final.

โ€œI hate you.โ€

Hadesโ€™s entire body jolted like sheโ€™d stabbed him.

โ€œNoโ€ฆ noโ€ฆโ€ He shook his head violently, sobbing. โ€œYou canโ€™t. Iโ€™m going to die if you leave me! You canโ€™t do this to me!โ€

โ€œThen die.โ€ Her eyes burned into his.

โ€œI want you to die.โ€

She pulled the trigger.

The gunshot exploded through the storm.

BANG.

The shell ricocheted off the floor beside Hadesโ€™ knee, splintering the soaked tiles. Hades flinched violently, his whole body tremblingโ€”but he wasnโ€™t the one bleeding. He realized slowlyโ€ฆ painfullyโ€ฆ

She intentionally missed.

Blueyโ€™s hand was already shaking when the gun slipped from her fingers and hit the wet ground with a sharp clatter.

Her knees buckled.

She crumpled onto the cold tiles, palms flat on the watery surface, her hair plastered to her face as she sobbed.

โ€œWhyโ€ฆโ€ Her voice cracked, raw and breaking. โ€œWhy does it have to be you!!โ€

Hadesโ€™ breath hitchedโ€”he felt it like a knife to the ribs. He crawled to her on his hands like someone who had lost every last shred of pride, water pattering down his face, mixing with tears he couldnโ€™t hide anymore.

โ€œBlueyโ€ฆโ€ he whispered, voice shattered. He gathered her into his arms, holding her so tight his fingers dug into her soaked clothes.

โ€œIโ€™m sorryโ€ฆ Iโ€™m sorryโ€ฆ Iโ€™m so sorryโ€ฆโ€

Her shoulders shook violently as she cried into his chest.

Hades wrapped his arms around her, one hand cradling the back of her head, the other curling around her waist as if he could shield her from everythingโ€”even himself.

He buried his face into her wet hair, his breathing uneven, broken.

He pulled back slightly and cupped her face with trembling hands. His thumbs brushed her tears, though the rain washed them away instantly.

He leaned closer until his forehead pressed against hersโ€”his breathing warm, desperate, pleading.

โ€œDonโ€™t leave meโ€ฆโ€ His voice cracked. โ€œPleaseโ€ฆ please, Blueyโ€ฆ youโ€™re all I have. Youโ€™re all I need. Donโ€™t leave meโ€ฆโ€

Blueyโ€™s hands thudded weakly against his chestโ€”tiny, broken punches.

โ€œI hate youโ€ฆ I hate youโ€ฆโ€ she whimpered between sobs, her voice fractured, her fists losing strength with every hit.

He didnโ€™t stop her. He took every strike, every word, every breath of her pain like he deserved worse.

Her hits slowed, dissolved, and eventually she clutched his shirt insteadโ€”fingers gripping the fabric, clinging to him because she couldnโ€™t bring herself to push him away anymore.

Her forehead dropped into the curve of his neck, her sobs muffled against his skin.

Her body trembled in his arms.

Hades held her tighter, his own tears sliding freely.

And Blueyโ€™s broken, muffled sobs spilled into his chest as he wrapped himself around her like a drowning man holding onto the only thing keeping him alive.

He kissed her hair, barely audible, voice trembling against her ear.

โ€œIโ€™m sorryโ€ฆ Iโ€™m so sorryโ€ฆ please donโ€™t hate meโ€ฆโ€

Bluey shook her head weakly, still crying.

Noah sat on the edge of his couch, shirtless, hair damp from a shower, lazily eating cold noodles straight from the bowl.

The TV played low in the background, barely lighting the room.

The door clicked.

Ariana stepped in wearing only a loosely tied robe. Her hair was still slightly wet from her own shower, her eyes carrying that same hungry glint she always gave him.

“Noah,” she breathed.

He didnโ€™t bother looking up. “Why are you here?”

She let the robe slide off her shoulders, catching it with her fingers so it dangled halfway down her arms.

“Because I missed you,” she said with a teasing pout. “And I wanted to entertain you. Itโ€™s been a while.”

He didnโ€™t respond, just lifted another bite to his mouth.

Ariana walked over, pushed his bowl away gently, and guided him back onto the couch cushions.

โ€œNoahโ€ฆโ€ she whispered, climbing off him and stepping back.

The robe dropped to the floor.

She stood fully exposed under the dim lighting, then slowly turned, running her hands down her body as she lowered herself to the floor.

She arched, rolled her hips, dragging her fingers up her thighs.

A slow dance, seductive, practiced, her body moving for his eyes only.

She crawled a little closer, her body brushing the carpet, touching herself lightly as she moved, breathy, needy.

Her voice came soft and warm:

โ€œYou like this, donโ€™t you?โ€

Noah stared. Blank. Unaffected. Completely unmoved.

She did one final spin on her knees, hair whipping lightly as she leaned back, presenting herself, her breath shaky from trying too hard.

He blinked once.

Thenโ€”

โ€œYou done?โ€ Noah asked flatly.

Ariana froze, her eyes widening. โ€œHuh?โ€

He stood, grabbed his bowl of noodles again.

โ€œIf youโ€™re done, leave.โ€

โ€œWhatโ€”? Noah, whatโ€™s your problem?โ€

He walked past her, not giving her body a single glance.

โ€œGeez,โ€ he muttered, picking up his chopsticks. โ€œYour body is such a turnoff.โ€

Arianaโ€™s mouth fell open in horror.

Noah sat back down, relaxed, unfazed, and resumed eating as if she never existed.

โ€œWhat is it, Noah? Iโ€™ve been trying for ages. Do you like guys? Why canโ€™t you react to me?โ€ she demanded, stepping closer.

โ€œYou honestly think I have time for your nonsense? Get out.โ€ Noahโ€™s voice was sharp, clipped, cutting through the room like glass.

โ€œNoahโ€ฆโ€ she whispered, leaning in to kiss him.

He grabbed her by the neck, shoving her back.

โ€œJust a kiss, please. A touchโ€ฆ just touch me, anything at all so I can feel you. Iโ€™m crazy over you, Noah,โ€ she pleaded, tears brimming.

โ€œI love someone else. I already said it. Are you happy now?โ€ he spat back, his jaw tight.

โ€œShe canโ€™t be better than me!โ€ she shot back, her voice trembling with rage.

โ€œDonโ€™t you dare compare yourself to her! Youโ€™re nothing but a classless bitch with a wide hole!โ€ His words slammed into her like a whip.

She gasped, shocked, tears streaming down her face.

โ€œDo you really think Iโ€™d stoop so low to sleep with you? Youโ€™ve literally fucked every guy in the academy, staff, and guards included. Seriously, Ariana, youโ€™re not worth anythingโ€”so get out before I actually disfigure your face!โ€ His voice cracked with anger and finality.

Arianaโ€™s fists clenched, trembling, and she ran from the suite, leaving the door to slam behind her.

Noah sank onto the couch, chest heaving, the adrenaline slowly fading. He rubbed his face, muttering under his breath,

โ€œWhat a mood spoiler.โ€

Marco sat on the edge of the bed, tense, expecting compliance. Iris stepped out of the bathroom, her expression cold, a choker still around her neck.

โ€œFinally,โ€ Marco sneered. โ€œJust me and you. Nowโ€”โ€

โ€œDo you really think I came all this way to do what you what?”She asked.

Marcoโ€™s hand shot forward, wrapping around Irisโ€™s neck, trying to assert control as he presed the choker. โ€œBetter not try any shit. Now, do what Iโ€”โ€

She grabbed his wrist and pushed him back, unfazed.

โ€œYou think thatโ€™ll work?โ€ she said coolly. โ€œIโ€™ve had a chip implanted in my brain at MIA. My pain sensors are dulled. You really think choking me will scare me?โ€

Marcoโ€™s eyes narrowed, surprised, but he didnโ€™t back down. He lunged, throwing a punch toward her head.

Iris ducked, spinning low to deliver a solid kick to his ribs.

He staggered but tried to grab her again, swinging wildly. She caught his arm, twisted it, and shoved him across the room.

โ€œYouโ€™re going to learn a lesson today. Leave peopleโ€™s wives alone,โ€ she said sharply.

He scrambled to his feet, swinging and striking at her with desperation, but she moved with precision, blocking, countering, and landing punishing blows to his sides, legs, and chest..

โ€œYouโ€™re weak,โ€ she taunted as she pushed him against the wall. โ€œIโ€™m stronger than you. Always remember that.โ€

Marco tried to fight back, but every attack was met with swift counters.

She forced him down to the floor with a well-placed sweep and pinned him, leaving him gasping and powerless.

The door opened behind them.

โ€œAre you done, darling?โ€Robertโ€™s voice called softly.

Marcoโ€™s eyes widened as he turned weakly toward him.

โ€œHowโ€ฆ didโ€”โ€

โ€œYour guards?โ€ Robert said, smirking. โ€œAll dead. Even your right-hand man, Banjo. All weak. And of course, I know where she isโ€”sheโ€™s my wife.โ€

Robert looked at Iris. โ€œDid you have a good time?โ€

โ€œYes, darling. Letโ€™s go. He wonโ€™t bother me again,โ€ Iris replied firmly.

Robert kissed her deeply, and they walked out, leaving Marco bruised, battered, and a clear warning never to cross her again.

Hades slowly opened his eyes, the sunlight seeping through the blinds cutting across the room.

He sat up on the edge of the bed, rubbing his face, and immediately noticed that Bluey wasnโ€™t beside him.

Ohโ€ฆ she didnโ€™t even sleep here last night.

He dragged his feet across the floor, ruffling his hair, feeling the weight of the nightโ€™s events still pressing on him.

Silence filled the suite as he made his way downstairs, his bare feet making soft thuds against the hardwood.

In the kitchen, Bluey was there, wearing one of his oversized shirts, barefoot, focused on a frying pan as she followed the instructions from a YouTube recipe video.

Her hair clung damply to her face, and the soft morning light painted her in gentle golds and browns.

Hades just stood there, silently watching her, feeling something he couldnโ€™t name twist in his chest.

โ€œIโ€™ll be done cooking in a while, just sit down. Do you want coffee?โ€ Bluey asked, her voice calm, almost distant, without looking at him.

โ€œYeahโ€ฆ sure,โ€ he replied quietly, sliding into a chair, trying not to make a sound that would betray how tense he felt.

Bluey moved with quiet efficiency, filling the kettle, measuring coffee grounds. She poured the coffee carefully into a cup and set it in front of him.

โ€œHereโ€ฆ just how you like it,โ€ she said, brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear.

Hades picked up the cup, inhaling deeply, savoring the warmth. Bluey turned to leave, her steps silent on the wooden floor, but before she could walk away, Hades reached out and gently took her hand.

She froze, looking at his hand first, then into his eyes.

โ€œSorry,โ€ he said quietly, his fingers loosening around hers as he let go.

Bluey checked the food one last time, lifting the pan slightly to make sure nothing was burning.

Satisfied, she turned off the gas and finally sat down across from Hades. The chair scraped softly against the floor as she pulled it in.

โ€œSo?โ€ she said, arms crossing. โ€œYouโ€™ve got a lot of explaining to do.โ€

โ€œIโ€ฆ itโ€ฆ you seeโ€ฆโ€ Hades swallowed, voice tiny.

โ€œCan you stop with the stammering? Itโ€™s irritating me, you know?โ€ Bluey rolled her eyes.

โ€œIโ€™m sorry,โ€ he murmured.

โ€œStart talking.โ€

He inhaled deeply, steadying himself. โ€œIt was never my intention to hurt anyone. I didnโ€™t know what the school was for initiallyโ€”โ€

โ€œSo how on Earth did you end up becoming Joker?โ€ she cut in, brow raised.

โ€œWhen we first enrolled, in our first year,โ€ he began slowly, โ€œI instantly got up to two thousand Sigils in just one month. I was skilled, strong, toughโ€ฆ I had the potential.โ€

Bluey didnโ€™t react, waiting.

โ€œOne day I was called to Miss Doraโ€™s office. She said she wanted to have a serious conversation. She offered me a drink andโ€ฆ within minutes I was knocked out.โ€

His fingers curled around his coffee cup, knuckles going pale.

โ€œI didnโ€™t know what happened at first. But when I woke up, I found myself in a lab. I panickedโ€ฆ until I saw Miss Dora. And someone else in the roomโ€”Mavka. A series of wires was connected from my head to her system.โ€

Blueyโ€™s expression tensed.

โ€œI tried to get up but the headacheโ€”godโ€” it was blinding. Thatโ€™s when I found out it was planted in my brain. Connected to Mavka.โ€

โ€œWhat chip is that?โ€ she asked quietly.

โ€œItโ€™s a mind censor chip,โ€ he said. โ€œRue told me what the school was really about. I wanted to back outโ€ฆ but I couldnโ€™t.โ€

โ€œAnd why is that?โ€ Bluey pressed.

โ€œBecause Iโ€™ll die, Bluey.โ€ His voice cracked.

Bluey froze, her eyes widening, breath stuttering. โ€œWhat do you mean?โ€

โ€œThe chipโ€ฆ she has full control over my life. I canโ€™t betray her. If I tryโ€”sheโ€™ll activate it.โ€ Hadesโ€™ voice dropped. โ€œInstant death.โ€

Bluey bit her lip, gaze dropping to the table for a fraction of a second.

โ€œI didnโ€™t mean to kill Natalie,โ€ he whispered. โ€œI was forced to. When I found out she was a spy, I panickedโ€ฆ Rue made me do it. Iโ€™m sorry.โ€ His hand reached across the counter, gently holding hers. โ€œIโ€™m really sorryโ€ฆโ€

Bluey looked down at their handsโ€ฆ then slowly pulled hers away. Cold. Controlled.

She stood, returning to the stove. Without saying anything, she dished out food for him and pushed the plate toward his side of the table.

โ€œEat up. You need the strength,โ€ she said flatly. โ€œRemember, we have a mission later.โ€

Hades blinked. โ€œYouโ€™re going to join the mission too? I thoughtโ€”โ€

โ€œThe mission is to kill the clients the BSA students are meeting,โ€ she said, turning to face him. โ€œItโ€™s also on my agenda. While we plan how to kill Rue, Capo, and Dean.โ€

โ€œYou want to kill them?โ€ He swallowed. โ€œItโ€™s not going to be easy. Those people are ruthless.โ€

Blueyโ€™s eyes sharpened. โ€œDonโ€™tโ€ฆ tell me what to do.โ€

Hades immediately nodded, shrinking back.

She rolled her eyes, wiped her hands with a cloth, and walked out of the kitchen without another word.

The only sound left was the quiet clink of his spoon against the plate and the faint echo of her footsteps disappearing down the hall.

The room was painfully silent as Sergio and Hyce finished laying out every rotten truth about MIA.

No one moved.. The weight of it settled like dust after an explosion.

Hugo was the first to speak, eyebrows raised so high they nearly touched his hairline.

โ€œSo youโ€™re trying to tell me theyโ€™re literally harvesting human organs?โ€

โ€œIn disguise as a school?โ€ Gomez added, his voice cracking.

โ€œWaitโ€”waitโ€”this is insane.โ€ Morgan rubbed his forehead. โ€œDid our parents know? And still send us here?โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t think so,โ€ Hyce replied. โ€œThe only person who knew was Irisโ€ฆ and Robert probably.โ€

โ€œBecause Iris was the Joker,โ€ Sergio added.

Loci blinked slowly, disbelief crawling into his features.
โ€œSo Hadesโ€™ mother was in cahoots with all this? But why? Itโ€™s so sick.โ€

Natasha suddenly stood, fists tightening.
โ€œDid that have anything to do with my sisterโ€™s death? Were they part of it? Did she find out who the Joker was? Is that why they killed her?โ€

โ€œNatasha, calm down,โ€ Nia tried, gently reaching for her.

โ€œI am NOT calming down!โ€ Natasha snapped, jerking away.

Gomez swallowed hard.
โ€œSoโ€ฆ was Natalieโ€™s death involved in this? Whoโ€ฆ killed her?โ€

Hyce and Sergio fell completely silent.

Trevor leaned forward, putting pieces together out loud.

โ€œWas it Hades?โ€

Everyoneโ€™s eyes darted to him.

โ€œWith everything you told usโ€ฆ and everyone presentโ€ฆ Hades and Bluey are the only ones absent. And since Blueyโ€™s with you guys, automatically Hades is the Joker, right?โ€

Lociโ€™s voice dropped to a whisper.
โ€œHadesโ€ฆ killed Natalie?โ€

โ€œOh my goodnessโ€ฆโ€ Dawn covered her mouth with both hands, tears immediately forming.

Natasha snapped. Her whole body trembled as rage surged through her.
โ€œHe killed her? He killed my sister? That bastardโ€”he killed herโ€”Hades is going to pay for this. I swear on everything I have left.โ€

โ€œNatasha listenโ€”โ€ Hyce stepped toward her.

โ€œDonโ€™t tell me to listen!โ€

โ€œItโ€™sโ€ฆ not his fault technically,โ€ Hyce said carefully. โ€œHe was forced to do it.โ€

Natashaโ€™s head whipped toward him, eyes blazing.
โ€œDonโ€™t tell me youโ€™re DEFENDING him.โ€

โ€œIโ€™m not defending what he did,โ€ Hyce said, voice steady. โ€œBut can we at least consider what heโ€™s gone through? He was controlled. Manipulated. Tortured. He probably didnโ€™t evenโ€”โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t CARE.โ€ Natashaโ€™s voice cracked. โ€œI want justice for my sisterโ€ฆ no. Justice is overrated.โ€

She inhaled sharply, chest heaving.

โ€œI want revenge.โ€

โ€œYouโ€™ll get your revenge soon enoughโ€ฆto donโ€™t worry.โ€A cold, feminine voice cut through the room:

Everyone turned sharply.

Bluey stood at the entrance, arms crossed over her chest, expression unreadable as she stepped into the living room.

“What are you planning?” Hugo asked.

“We need to work together to tear down both MIA and BSA,” Bluey said. “Capo, Rue, and Deanโ€ฆ Capoโ€™s brother needs to be out of the picture if we all want this to end.”

“But howโ€™s that possible? Do you know how many guards they have? Theyโ€™ll ambush us and our families if we even try anything.” Gomez ran his hand through his hair.

“I know. But during the mission tonight, the first goal is to cripple their illegal business by eliminating their clients. After that, we go for Rue, Capo, and Dean.” Bluey spoke steady, calm, decisive.

“Sounds like tough work,” Dawn murmured.

“Is everything okay?” Trevor asked.

Bluey hesitated for the first time. “Umโ€ฆ thereโ€™s something I need help with. Tonight.”

They all turned to her.

“Hades said thereโ€™s a chip in his brain that Rue controls. She can kill him whenever she likes. If they find out our plan, sheโ€™ll use Hades against us. We need a backup. Plan B, cause I’m not letting Hades be the reason for the plans to fail..”

“What do you want? Iโ€™m very much capable,” Morgan said confidently.

Bluey looked straight at her. “While Trevor, Hades, Hyce and I go on the missionโ€ฆ I need some people to infiltrate Rueโ€™s villa. Find Mavka. Find Rueโ€™s tablet. Sergio will try to deactivate the chip in Hadesโ€™ brain.”

Morgan blinked. “That isโ€ฆ kind of risky. But sure. Weโ€™ll do it.”

“So Morgan, Sergio, Gomez, and Hugo will handle that,” Bluey continued. “Dawn, Loci, Nia, and Natasha stay at the campus in case anything goes wrong.”

Everyone nodded, each face tense with a different kind of fear and resolve.

Hyceโ€™s alarm beeped sharply.

“You should get ready, Trevor and Bluey,” Hyce said. “Itโ€™s almost time to leave.”

โ˜…๐’๐ž๐š ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญโ˜…

Trevor parked right at the rusted entrance of the old port. The place smelled like salt, diesel and metalโ€”workers in neon vests hauling crates, forklifts whining, ships creaking against the docks.

Hyce scanned the area. โ€œSo where exactly are they?โ€

โ€œHold onโ€ฆ Noah just texted.โ€ Bluey said, checking her phone.

The message popped up:

๐Ÿ“จ Noah:
Theyโ€™re at Dock 17B โ€” the restricted loading bay near the east warehouse. Clients are on the upper deck of the cargo ship. Guards scattered around the perimeter and engine room.

Bluey lowered her phone.
โ€œHe said to kill the clients and the armed guards. Blow up the ship. But not any BSA student.โ€

โ€œWhy not? I really want to see how strong they are.โ€ Trevor said, stretching his neck.

โ€œMe too,โ€ Hyce added.

โ€œLetโ€™s go,โ€ Hades muttered, already moving with Hyce trailing him.

โ€œSoโ€ฆ little sis.โ€Trevor fell into step beside Bluey.

Bluey shot him a dry look. โ€œI almost forgot you were supposed to be my brother.โ€

Trevor clutched his chest dramatically. โ€œNow thatโ€™s mean. Are you two okay? You and Hades?โ€

โ€œLetโ€™s not talk about that right now.โ€ Bluey walked ahead, face tightening.

—–

โ€œIs that all of it? You guys are sure?โ€ one of the clients asked, staring at the neatly arranged cargo crates as attendants secured the last locks.

They were deep inside the shipโ€”dim lights, metal walls, cold air, and the stench of sea salt mixing with sterilized steel.

Twenty cargo crates. Each one containing a full set of harvested human organs.

Six clients stood waiting, surrounded by their own armed guards, all tense and impatient.

Noah stood at the front, calm as ever, hands in his pockets.

โ€œThatโ€™s everything,โ€ he said flatly.

โ€œGood,โ€ Client 2 replied. โ€œTell Dean Iโ€™d like to speak with him personally.โ€

Liliana scoffed before Noah could even respond.

โ€œHeโ€™s a busy man. If you need to negotiate or pass information, you go through us.โ€

โ€œNo problem,โ€ Client 3 said, shrugging.

โ€œThe payment,โ€ Noah reminded them, voice cold, eyes dull.

Client 4 nodded to one of his guards.
Three large duffel bags were dragged forward, dropped at Noahโ€™s feet with a heavy thud.

โ€œAs promised 5 billion kronor ( Sweden currency).โ€

Drake crouched, unzipped each bag, and checked the stacks inside.
He grinned.

โ€œSolid. Letโ€™s go.โ€

Noah nodded once.

Liliana and Drake hoisted the bags and headed toward the exit ramp.

โ€œYou guys go ahead,โ€ Noah said quietly, stepping back into the shadows between the cargo stacks. โ€œIโ€™ll catch up.โ€

Drake didnโ€™t question it.
โ€œAlright.โ€

They walked off the ship, leaving Noah alone.

“We should probably wait for him in the car, got a smoke?” Liliana asked, brushing her hair back.

“Sure,” Drake muttered, reaching into his pocket.

Suddenlyโ€”

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Gunfire erupted across the deck like a war zone breaking open. Liliana and Drake mouth dropped open instantly as bullets tore through the guards.

Screams, metal clattering, and bodies hitting the ground echoed everywhere.

“What the f+k?!” Liliana gasped, watching in horror as all fifty guards collapsed one by one, blood spreading across the dock.

Drake abandoned the money bag and pulled out his gun, eyes darting.

Two figures emerged from the shadows of the shipping crates.

“Easy there. We’re not here to kill you,” Hyce said, stepping closer beside Trevor.

“MIA students?” Liliana scoffed. “Pathetic.”

A single shot cracked.

BANG.

A bullet ripped through her arm.

“Ahโ€”! Jesus! F+k!” Liliana shrieked, grabbing her bleeding shoulder.

“Who you calling pathetic, huh?” Hyce said coldly. “Watch your mouth.”

Drake smirked despite the chaos. “Wow. Pretty boy’s got attitude. I like that. You’re just my type.”

Trevor cracked his knuckles. “Enough chit-chat. I’ve always wanted to see how strong BSA really is. Let’s go. No weapons. Fists only.”

Liliana smirked through the pain. “Sure. Drake, take the blonde. I’ll handle this talkative one.”

“It’s Trevor. Not talkative,” Trevor corrected. “I don’t talk too much.”

Liliana lunged at him instantly, throwing a punch at his jawโ€”but Trevor caught her fist with ease, twisting her wrist until she winced.

“You need more than that, baby girl,” he said with a slight smirk.

Trevor didnโ€™t even brace himself. He stood there, hands loose at his sides, smirking as Liliana lunged again.

She spun, aiming a kick straight for his neck.

He leaned back just enough, letting her foot slice the air in front of his face.

โ€œThat all?โ€ Trevor asked lazily.

Liliana growled and came at him again, this time with a flurry of punches. Trevor blocked every one, barely shifting, like he was bored.

โ€œKeep going,โ€ he taunted. โ€œAt least youโ€™re not as slow as you look.โ€

She kicked off the railing, flipping over him and trying to elbow him in the back.

Trevor simply stepped aside.

โ€œYou’re trying so hard,โ€ he said, patting her head like a child. โ€œItโ€™s actually cute. In a sad, desperate kind of way.โ€

Liliana swung her leg at him in a full roundhouse. He caught it mid-air.

โ€œYour boobs are so flat, I see,โ€ Trevor said, pushing her chest back with two fingers. โ€œYou sure youโ€™re not one of the guys?โ€

Her eyes widened, rage snapping through her.

โ€œYouโ€™re disgusting! Youโ€™ll never find a girl with that attitude!โ€ she spat, yanking her leg back and attacking again with twice the force.

Trevor blocked her punch, leaning in close with a grin that made her even angrier.

โ€œGuess what?โ€ he said. โ€œI have one.โ€

He shoved her back with a hard shoulder bump.

โ€œAnd sheโ€™s a full package,โ€ Trevor continued with a wink. โ€œFace, body, everything. Unlike youโ€”whose parents clearly gave up halfway.โ€

Liliana screamed and charged.

Trevor ducked, swept her legs out cleanly, and as she started to fallโ€”

He kicked upward, his boot connecting squarely with her jaw.

Liliana flew back, hitting the deck with a heavy thud, blood pooling down her lip.

Trevor cracked his neck, grinning.

โ€œRound two?โ€ he asked. โ€œOr you done embarrassing yourself for today?โ€

*

Drake wiped a streak of blood from his lip, breathing hard. Hyceโ€™s movements were precise, almost effortless, yet deadly.

Every punch and kick he tried to throw was met with a counter or sidestep.

โ€œYouโ€™re strongโ€ฆ I didnโ€™t thinkโ€ฆโ€ Drake panted, trying to regain his footing.

โ€œI like you.โ€ Drake said, almost casually, watching his every move.

Hyce blinked. โ€œI got a boyfriend.โ€

โ€œOh?โ€ Drake tilted his head, raising an eyebrow. โ€œIs he more handsome than me?โ€

Hyce smirked, though it was faltering. โ€œHeโ€™s hotter.โ€

Hyce chuckled softly, landing a hard side kick to Drakeโ€™s rib, making him grunt in pain.

โ€œReally?โ€ Drake forced a grin, ignoring the sting. โ€œLetโ€™s make a deal. If I win, we go on a date.โ€

โ€œAnd if you lose?โ€ Hyceโ€™s fist moved lightning fast, catching him off-guard and knocking him backward.

โ€œI wonโ€™t lose.โ€ Drake groaned as he hit the deck, trying to roll back to his feet, but Hyce was already closing in.

The fight became a blur of strikes and counters.. Drake tried to land his punches, but they were slow, distracted by Hyceโ€™s gaze and the effortless way he dodged.

โ€œYouโ€™reโ€ฆ mesmerizing, so pretty.โ€ Drake admitted between breaths, ducking another jab that narrowly missed his jaw.

โ€œFocus on the fight, not my looks,โ€ Hyce teased, sweeping Drakeโ€™s legs and sending him sprawling.

Drake scrambled to rise, his pride wounded more than his body. He threw a desperate haymaker; Hyce caught his fist mid-air, twisting his arm and flipping him onto his back.

โ€œI think youโ€™re gonna have to work harder than that,โ€ Hyce said, stepping closer, his chest heaving but eyes still playful.

Drake looked up, breathing heavily, admiration and frustration mixing on his face. โ€œYouโ€ฆ areโ€ฆ unfair.โ€

โ€œLifeโ€™s unfair,โ€ Hyce said with a smirk.

Drake lay there, catching his breath, a grudging smile forming despite the pain. โ€œOkayโ€ฆ okay, you winโ€ฆ but you have to admitโ€ฆ I make a strong opponent.โ€

Hyce knelt down, tilting his head. โ€œYou almost make it fun. Almost.โ€

Drake groaned, rubbing his ribs, but even in defeat, there was a gleam of admiration. Hyce stood, letting him catch his breath.

Bluey and Hades stood back to back, guns raised, their movements fluid, synchronized as if they were two halves of the same lethal machine.

Each step they took was measured, calculated.

A guard lunged from behind a crateโ€”Hades spun, kneeing him in the stomach before shooting him cleanly in the head.

Another guard charged with a knifeโ€”Bluey ducked, rolled under his swing, and slammed the but+ of her gun across his jaw, sending him crashing into the railing.

They moved like shadows, deadly and silent between shots, their combined fire mowing down any enemy foolish enough to get close.

Gunshots echoed inside the ship, and panic rippled among the clients.

โ€œWhere are the guards?!โ€ Client 1 shouted, eyes wide.

โ€œTheyโ€™re all dead.โ€ Client 2 stammered, stepping back.

โ€œShitโ€ฆ whereโ€™s the captain of the ship? We have to leave!โ€ Client 3 barked, fumbling for a weapon.

Before they could react further, Hades swung in through the main door. Rain and chaos blurred around him.

Three of the clients raised their guns simultaneously, but Hades moved faster than thought itself.

One by one, in a blur of motion, four out of six clients were dead, their bodies crumpling to the deck.

โ€œJokerโ€ฆ you bastard!โ€ one of the remaining clients screamed, his gun trembling.

Blueyโ€™s finger tightened on the trigger, and a clean shot to the manโ€™s head sent him down silently, leaving only one terrified client standing.

Bluey stepped fully into the room, rain dripping from her hair, eyes sharp.

โ€œYouโ€™re going to talk. Are there any other places where organs are being sold?โ€ she demanded.

The man shook violently. โ€œNoโ€ฆ I donโ€™t knowโ€ฆ please, I swear!โ€

Hades pressed a hand against the clientโ€™s shoulder, his gaze cold.

โ€œThere isnโ€™t. Theyโ€™re the main clients. They supply every other person outside Sweden.โ€ He said to Bluey.

Bluey moved toward the stacked cargo crates, lifting the lid of one to reveal jars filled with freshly harvested organs. Her stomach churned, her face tight with disgust.

โ€œThis is sick,โ€ she muttered, backing away.

โ€œWeโ€™re blowing up the ship, right?โ€ she asked, glancing at Hades.

โ€œYeah, of course,โ€ Hades replied, methodical, his gun sweeping across the last remaining client. A single shot, and the man dropped lifelessly.

Hades placed the explosive carefully along the deck, its timer ticking down silently. Side by side, Bluey and he walked out, their steps deliberate, leaving chaos and fire behind.

The ship erupted in flames moments later, sending a column of fire and smoke into the sky. From a distance, Noah watched, his expression unreadable.

โ€œThat was quick,โ€ he muttered under his breath, shaking his head.

Bluey and Hades stood at the edge of the pier, silhouettes against the burning ship before walking away.

*

Hades and Bluey were positioned behind two pillars opposite each other, shadows swallowing half their faces.

Hadesโ€™ eyes were pinned on herโ€”he couldnโ€™t help it.

Even in the middle of a mission, even with danger humming around them, she was the only thing that pulled his focus.

When Bluey finally met his gaze, she froze.

โ€œWhy are you looking at me? You should focus.โ€ Bluey muttered.

โ€œSorryโ€ฆ I just got carried away.โ€ Hades whispered, lowering his eyes. โ€œSoโ€ฆ they all know?โ€

โ€œYes, we told them. Itโ€™s best they do. We need everyone.โ€ Bluey said.

Hades swallowed. โ€œDo they hate me?โ€

โ€œHate is a soft word,โ€ she replied without hesitation. โ€œIโ€™d say loathe. Canโ€™t say itโ€™s all of them though.โ€

He nodded, accepting it, even if it stung.

โ€œBlueyโ€ฆ Blueyโ€ฆโ€ someone called.

Bluey instantly stepped out from behind the pillar and raised her gun, aiming straight at the figure approaching.

The guy did the same, but when he saw her clearly, his gun slowly dipped downward. Then he aimed at Hades for a split secondโ€”testing, warning…before lowering his weapon entirely.

โ€œNoahโ€ฆโ€ Bluey exhaled.

She rushed to him and wrapped her arms around him. Noah hugged her back tightly, burying his face in her hair.

โ€œI missed you,โ€ Noah said quietly as he pulled back.

His gaze shifted to Hades, sharp and hostile. Hades stared back with a glare that could cut glass.

โ€œWhoโ€™s he?โ€ Noah asked, lips tightening.

โ€œIs he theโ€ฆ Bluey, we need to talk. You promised me you werenโ€™t gonna get a boyfriend.โ€ His voice dropped to a warning whisper as he held her hand.

Hades stepped forward instantly.

โ€œBroโ€ฆ can you stop touching her? Youโ€™re being disrespectful right now.โ€ He grabbed Blueyโ€™s wrist, pulling her away from Noah.

โ€œSoโ€ฆ heโ€™s your boyfriend, huh?โ€ Noahโ€™s voice cracked, hurt flashing across his face.

Bluey pulled her hand away from Hades and walked toward Noah.

โ€œHeโ€™s not my boyfriendโ€ฆโ€ She said coldly.

Hades stiffened.

Bluey turned slightly, her eyes empty. โ€œHeโ€™sโ€ฆ my ex.โ€

Noah smirked with bitter triumph.

Hades stared at Bluey like she had stabbed him. His lips parted, breath shaking.

Then as if something in him triggered, tears dropped from his eyes.
