Liam bundled Rylan and Crystal to Malibu for their honeymoon no matter how they protested especially Rylan, he wanted to partake in the plan but Liam bluntly refused .

” Seriously guys you won’t let us stay uh” Crystal said rubbing her stomach *the bump wasn’t even showing yet*

Sabrina leads her to the private jet waiting for them already.

” No sweetheart, it’s your honeymoon, don’t allow our problems to prevent you from having fun” .

Liam pats frowning Rylan ” trust me bro, this is the right thing”

” But i really wanna see how things end “

He chuckles pushing Rylan to the jet ” oh you will see how things end , you’re going to be attending my wedding “

Rylan eyes him ” you …. “

” Yes me , now move along you have a honeymoon to enjoy ” .

They enter the jet and it took off .

[REYNOLDS MANSION]

Evelyn sighs watching her husband go through the office files while they were in his study room , he was wearing his glasses deeply focused in his work.

” Dear how can you be calm in a situation like this “

He sighs , his eyes still on the file ” what do you want me to do ? “

Evelyn shrugs ” I don’t know , maybe strengthen our security agents and he on a high alert “

” Hmm I can see that, our security agents has been strengthened and I’m already on high alert… You know Sabrina and our grandson will be here when the coup d’etat is carried out so I double everyday “

She sighs hugging herself ” I hope things will has planned “

Stephen nods trying to hide his nervousness, this is his first time handling a coup d’etat.

[BOSS EMPIRE]

Boss , Roger and Victor seat round a table, a map of the army day celebration venue was sketched on it.

” To the event, there are two entrance. The first which is at the front is for guests while other is at the back and it is for soldiers only” boss said tapping his fingers on each entrance.

Roger nods ” so how do we make our entrance boss “

He smirks ” that would be a surprise anyway Roger your focus should be Liam and anything that comes in your way of getting him, leave the rest to me “

” Yes boss the event is next week do we have to act fast “

Victor looks at them ” so I’ll be expecting good news then “

” Yes but … I will have a little job for you Mr president “

Victor glanced at him ” oh really “

He nods ” yes just in case this plan fails, I’ve plan b “

” O…..Kay “

Boss sighs leaning back on his chair ” I’m having this hunch that the general might not give up easily so we can use something precious to him “

” Hmmm I see ” Victor responded not liking where this is heading.

Roger smirks , he already has an idea of what Boss is trying to say.

” So …. We need to either use his daughter or grandson *pauses* mostly his daughter as a bargain to threatened him ” Boss stated out calmly.

Victor gazed at him in shock, feeling like he has been slapped hard in the face .

” Tell me you’re joking”

Boss sighs ” I’m being very serious here , the general’s daughter is the key to the backup plan so just to be careful you will be the one to do it , some of my men will go with you “

” Fine fine ” Victor grumbles not believing he actually agreed to this .

” Good , I’ll plant some of my men to spy on her and send you location when it is time” Boss dictated, his voice crisp.

The door opens and mobsters enter dragging two captured soldiers.

Roger’s eyes glints as he watches them drag the two soldiers to Boss front roughly.

° it’s a good thing, Boss is wearing his mask ° he thought observing his Halloween like mask.

One of the mobsters ‘Axe’ speaks up .

” Boss these soldiers were found in this outskirts of the empire”

Boss chuckles dryly, so the general is still sending soldiers to search for him, wow that’s amusing.

” Well well well look at the general’s loyal lap dogs uh ” .

If eyes were weapons, Boss would have been dead cause the way to soldiers were staring him was too…

The soldiers were forced to their kneels but not single sign of fear was on their face .

” Nothing you say or do will make my trust to the general waver ” one of the soldier sneered not giving a f+k .

Victor chuckles at their foolishness ” how pathetic, if only the general can save you now “

Their eyes went round with shock as they gawked at the president, when they were dragged in they did not even notice him.

” M-Mr president! You are supporting the traitors of the very country you swore to protect ” one of the soldiers fumed .

” You should be ashamed of yourself…. The general trusted you ” the other adds glaring daggers at him

Victor stands up showing them his middle finger ” does it look like I give a fuck “

” Hehe” Roger chuckles.

Boss smirks and advances to them ” it’s a shame that you two won’t join me”

” I rather die than to betray my country ” the soldiers ranted.

” Oh you are going to die ” Roger points out , a wicked smile on his face.

Boss places his hand on the soldier shoulder his eyes gleaming. ” Well it’s unfortunate that the general won’t witness your selfless service”

His grip tightens ” I’m honored to show you the way to heaven “

He removes his mask , his face coming in view.

The soldiers almost faints receiving another full blown shock .

“Y-you “

Boss chuckles, the look on their faces was priceless.

” Yes me “

He brings out a pistol.

” Say hello to God for me ” he hissed .

Two loud gun shots were heard and the soldiers drop to try ground dead .

The mobsters dragged their dead bodies away .

NXT WEEK.
[ARMY BASE]

The venue was an open ground and it was filled with top ranked soldiers , there were no reporters .

The high ranked soldiers strolled in talking, none of them were armed only the ones on duty.

Everywhere was vibrant and colourful , soldiers carried out their parade .

→Macgonnel office.

” General, all soldiers are on their duty post , Thomas and Kyle carried out your order ” Sergeant Steve states .

Macgonnel nods ” is there any strange movements “

” No sir , all is looking good ” Steve replies.

Liam who has been seating down quietly speaks up .

” The more reason why we should be on high alert “

Macgonnel stands up ” let’s move out now “

They head outside.

[BOSS EMPIRE]

There is another sight to behold… Mobsters were all lined up armed with various weapons.

They were received orders from Axe to load their riffles which they did .

” Today is the day we’ve trained for so many years … Nothing must go wrong ” Axe declared his blood shot eyes burning holes in them.

” Shoot anyone that gets in Boss way and at same time protect him”

” Yes sir ” they echo in unison.

→Boss pavilion.

He observes them…. He was also prepared already dressed in his war outfit, his Halloween mask looking more scarier.

” Today is the day ” he mutters adjusting his black gloves .

Roger steps beside him, they were literally the same age with Macgonnel but he still respected Boss.

From the look on his face , you can tell he is excited and ready .

” We are striking when they least expect it ” he remarked smirking.

Boss nods ” let’s move , gather the men we will go in the van that has been arranged “

“Yes Boss ” .

Back at the army base , everyone was seated watching the parade with interest .

Macgonnel and Liam was seated at the vip seats with other top ranked colonels , the colonels were wondering what someone like him was doing in their mist

Liam mind wasn’t even on the parade, his eyes were darting around for any signs of suspicious movements.

After the parade, the host called on colonel Rhodes to give a brief speech, they clap as he climbs the podium.

In between the speech , a red dot flickered to his forehead and a bullet tore his skull , blood splashed everywhere, gasps of shock fill the air as Rhodes collapses to the ground.

The soldiers on duties raised their weapons but before they could even release fire , the snipers round the venue silenced them.

” Finally” Macgonnel mutters standing up, his grim face showing no sign of panic .

Armed men dressed in similar uniform marched in and surrounds the venue, their faces stern .

They simultaneously made way for Boss and Roger to walk majestically towards Macgonnel.

Boss tapped the button on his waist and the modulated voice was activated.

” General John Macgonnel, I cobra is ordering you to step down from your military position”

Macgonnel steps forward his aura terrifying . ” I worked hard for this position and nothing will make me give it up easily”

” I expected nothing less , everyone here is my witness the general removed to go the easy way ” .

The mobsters set their guns ready to fire.

Liam stood next to general,he was not afraid one bit , the burning gaze of Roger was obvious.

” Prepare to die with all the soldiers ” Boss thunders signaling his men to release fire .

Immediately soldiers from nowhere all armed outnumbered Boss men surrounding them immediately.

Macgonnel smirks ” I am always prepared, soldiers escort the colonels out of the venue ” .

” Yes sir “

Half of the soldiers immediately lead the colonels away while the rest took their stance against Boss.

Boss raises his left hand , the soldier set their guns sensing threat.

” Release it ” he mutters smirking.

Before anyone could get what was happening, a sizzling sound was heard and then boom .

A nuclear grenades was thrown to Macgonnel direction and it exploded immediately.

Boss and his men took cover .

Thick smoke curls the air as soldiers struggling to see .

LIAM was on the ground, the force of the grenades pushed him back .

” Shit ” he coughs looking around , smoke filled the air he could not make out figures.

He hears a clocking sound and a hard metal was pressed to his head.

” Well I finally get to meet you ” a cold voice wisphers

Liam turns slowly feeling the metal pressing harder on his head . ” Who are you “.

” Somebody you should say your last prayers today ” Roger snapped ready to pull the trigger.

Martial arts instincts kicked in and Liam sort of knocked Roger off his feet , tackling him to the ground immediately.

” F+k I’ll kill you ” Roger yells as they struggle for the gun together.

MACGONNEL crouched behind debris as his men and Boss men exchange fire.

Glass exploding as bullets shreds the air , soldiers duck … Their heart pounding.

They listen to the shouts and quick command of the general.

Macgonnel reloads his gun swiftly and aims again shooting another mobster down .

Their leader was nowwhere in sight, he peers struggling not to cough because of the smoke.

His eagle sight catches a glimpse of a familiar figure darting towards the base.

” Give me cover ” he instructs dashing after the figure .

The soldiers understanding the assignment fires widely at any threat in sight as they escort follow him to the base .

They enter inside on high alert , guns facing every direction.

Macgonnel turns to them ” go outside and support your colleagues this is my fight and give Liam backup nothing must happen to him “

” Yes sir ” they march out immediately.

Macgonnel clocks his gun , his face grim and hard , he makes his way swiftly further inside the base .

LIAM knocks the gun out of Roger’s hand and lands him a hard punch .

The two men , one older the other younger …. Started exchanging blow with each other .

They were fighting for dominance.

Liam overpowers Roger and pins him to the ground while strangling him.

” Why is an old man like you after my life uh “

He chokes on a laugh struggling to breathe, his face was red .

” Little boy , I’m your enemy due to circumstances…. It’s not my fault you fell in love with the wrong girl and your rival’s father wants you dead “

Liam’s grip loosened as he tries to grab the message… ” Orion’s dad?? “

Roger took advantage of the distraction and grabs a rock nearby , slamming it on Liam’s head.

” Argh ” Liam screams holding his head in pain .

Roger pushes him off of his body and stands up , he grabs the gun on the floor and points it at Liam .

” Like I said , I’m someone you should say your last prayers too ” he bellowed.

Liam shakes his head , he was literally seeing double, it felt like everywhere was spinning.

” Goodbye lover boy” Roger smirks clocking the gun …

Before he could pull the trigger , a bullet flew through the air , shredding his legs .

He collapses to the ground like a heap of clothes , groaning he tries to crawl away but a hard boot pressed his back .

Soldiers quickly helped Liam up as the rest subdued Roger.

” Are you okay sir ” sergeant Steve asks .

Liam nods still holding his head.

” Where is the general”

” He entered inside the base , I believe he went after the rebel leader ” Steve responded.

Liam brows snapped together as he looks around ” shit , the rebels have they been overpowered”

Steve nods ” yes , the ones that are alive have surrounded, they are been watched by our remaining men “

” I see ” Liam mummers knowing that they also lost some men .

” Let’s go after the general he will need our help , you and another soldier should come with me while rest of you watch the captives “

They nod carrying out his orders asap.

MACGONNEL creeps quietly to his office, he heard some sounds coming from there.

He leans on the door , clocking his gun … His heart pounding as he braces himself.

Slamming the door open , his gun ready to fire as he navigates the empty office.

His chair twirls to face him and there was Boss seating majestically on it .

” We finally meet “

Macgonnel makes his way to the seat not lowering his gun a second.

” You were part of the terrorists that attacked the base years ago yes or yes “

Boss chuckles ” I wasn’t part my friend, I just sent them “

” Bastard” Macgonnel mutters pulling the trigger.

Boss ducks swiftly like a expert , his annoying laughter echoing in the air .

Glass shatters as stray bullets met it , the office turned completely different.

Macgonnel lowers his gun glaring at Boss who was crouch behind the desk , he realized that Boss wanted him to waste his bullets so that he will be defendless.

” You are a coward” he yells marching towards him .

Boss noticing him approaching brings out something from his pocket throwing it quickly on the ground , it produces thick smoke.

” Shit” Macgonnel swears coughing, the thick smoke was making it difficult for him to see .

Boss laughs seeing him struggle ” the general position is mine , how can a newborn come from nowhere and take my position”

” I’ve served in the army for many years before becoming the general…. I’m no newbie ” Macgonnel grunts .

Boss smirks ” I became a soldier long before you came in and turned the heart of the superiors against mine , they kept on promoting you instead of me and soon enough you landed on the general’s position…. Imagine me that is older than you calling you sir and even saluting you “

Macgonnel looks at him surprised ” uh you were a soldier “

He grins madly ” since you’re dying anyway, I’ll grant you the honor of seeing my face “

Macgonnel’s heart drops to the ground as he sees the face of his enemy.

” K-kyle !!!! “

Kyle laughs wickedly, his eyes blazing.

” Yes me “
