Macgonnel clenches his jaw , feeling the hair at his back standing. ” Who sent this package”

The soldier who brought the package in saluted ” sir I received the package from a delivery man at the base entrance, that’s where I’m stationed “

” Your name “

” Steven sir “

Macgonnel groans rubbing his temples ” Kyle prepare the car we’re going to the explosion scene”

” Yes sir “

He salutes and leaves with Steven .

[EXPLOSION SCENE]

It was surrounded by cops and reporters, immediately they sighted the General’s car they flocked around it asking numerous questions, not even waiting for him to step out .

Soldiers push them back, making way for him to come out …. He is escorted to the scene by Kyle and three other sergeants. (Tom, peter and Luke )

The bombed area was taped with yellow police tape boldly written crime scene .

” Oh God ” Macgonnel mutters looking at the sunken area , it was pitch black even scarbs of the car was not seen not to talk of the soldiers or madeye bodies.

” General sir , the victims families are being consoled as I’m speaking now by major sergeant Shawn ” Peter said .

He nods forcing himself not to think of the families of the team of soldiers that he sent to look for the assassin.

Tom salutes ” General sir , forgive our incompetence, we would have searched madeye before he left for archer asylum”

” Something’s not right ” Macgonnel mutters frowning, madeye wasn’t the type of person to kill himself over going to prison, he would have chosen prison instead .

° Taking the fact that the package was brought right inside the base meaning there’s a mule in the army base , maybe the bomb was placed on him …. At this rate I can’t trust anyone. ° he thought scanning the area.

Kyle sighs, his heart heavy , he looks around , not even a single body to send to the grieving families, his gaze shifts to the crazy reporters struggling to get a picture of the place .

” Back to the base ” Macgonnel mutters walking away .

They salute following him immediately.

[GALENIN ENTERPRISE]

Caspian sighs rubbing his temples, his gaze shifts back to the stack of files on his desk .

Things hasn’t been going well for him lately, his company’s stock dropped and lots of important investors and partners and shareholders left . Employees resigned as he was not able to pay them again .

Reporters make mockery of him openly now , their company was not even among the top twenty list of successful company in the country.

” What is going on” he mutters frustrated already, the company will go bankrupt very soon .

He sighs leaning back on his chair ” I can’t let that happen, father will disown me “

Cedric bursts inside panting.

” Sir , sir “

” What is it ” he growls all he wants is some peace and quiet.

” It’s your mom “

Caspian seats up not liking the panic in his eyes ” What happened to her “

” She said your dad has a cardiac arrest and has been rushed to the hospital “

His eyes widens in shock ” what !!!!! “

” It happened today sir “

Caspian tumbles towards him ” prepare the car we’re leaving now ” .

[PRIVATE HOSPITAL]PATIENT WARD.

Caspian sighs staring at his dad in oxygen, he was even unconscious.

Clara sobs holding his hands , her poor husband is struggling for his life .

” Mom pls he is going to be okay “

She glares at him ” no don’t tell me that , doctor said his condition is severe and it can’t be treated here but a major hospital in Turkey “

 

” Oh ” he mutters looking away .

” Can you imagine, a well known and talented hospital like this can’t treat him doesn’t that give you an idea how serious this is ” she said almost yelling.

Caspian gulps nervously ” I’m sorry mom but I promise to be there for you guys “

She looks at him ” so you’re following us to Turkey “

” Yes , I can’t afford to lose any of you ” he said hugging her.

Clara smiles and hugs him back ” thank you ” .

[PRESIDENTIAL OFFICE ]

Victor sighs and switches off the tv , yeah he just watched the news about the bomb cause it was all on tv stations.

” Step outside ” he mutters to the soldiers guarding his door .

They salute and step outside.

He opens a drawer and brings out a phone wrapped in plastic bag and dails a number.

Victor: I thought you said it was a normal bomb , why am I seeing a nuclear bomb … It almost wiped out that desolate area.

Roger : *smirks* calm down Mr Tiger, I always have a reason for doing things.

Victor: do not call me that when we’re not in the Boss empire

Roger: *laughs* anyway I’m sure Boss will be pleased with me cause I sent two packages to the president.

Victor: whatever, just don’t do anything that will make you stand out

Roger : of course I know that

Victor: better, I’ll meet you guys later today *hangs up*

He carefully wraps the phone back in the plastic bag and places it back in the drawer.

” Macgonnel don’t even know what’s coming for him and same goes to that ill-mannered brat “

[R.E LIMITED]LIAM’S OFFICE.

Sabrina opens the door slightly but stops listening to what Liam was saying on the phone.

He was talking to his parents, telling them that Sabrina is not ready to let them see Aiden cause she hasn’t healed.

She sighs and steps in closing the door gently behind her .

Liam finished his call and dropped his phone,his eyes lighting up as he saw her.

” Hey flower ” he mutters kissing her forehead.

She smiles hugging him ” I over heard your conversation with your parents “

” Hey look, I don’t want you to feel pressured or anything… If you’re not up to it I totally understand ” .

Sabrina smiles sadly ” I never said I’m not up to it , come on let Aiden see his grandparents “

His eyes widens in shock ” you’re kidding right “

” Is this a joking matter “

Liam carries her up and twirls her around, she squeals happily.

” Flower thank you so much for letting us back into you and Aiden’d life , I promise to make it up to you ” he said looking at her sincerely.

She smiles cupping his soft cheek ” let me inform the nanny to bring Aiden so we can go there now “

Liam turns to her touch , kissing her palms gently ” my parents will be so happy “

[REYNOLDS MANSION]

Evelyn sat boredly on the couch inspecting her nails, she doesn’t go out this days .

” I never imagined my life being like this “

A maid hurries to her smiling

” Ma’am you’ve visitors “

She groans ” I’m not in the mood to see anyone “

” Are you sure about that ” Liam siad walking in with Aiden his arms and Sabrina by his side .

Evelyn gasps and springs up ” oh my gosh”

She runs towards them .

Liam smiles expecting a hug and she pushes him aside and grabs Sabrina by her shoulders, her eyes shimmering with tears .

” I don’t know where to start from Scarlett, I’ve hurt you so much … Pls forgive me . After hearing what Liam told us my heart has been in guilt since “

Sabrina nods meekly, feeling uncomfortable. This woman has never held her before so it was weird ” actually my name is Sabrina”

” Ah how can I forget , it was all over the news that you’re the General’s daughter ” Evelyn said leading her inside.

She turns her gaze to Aiden who was glued to Liam’s body and gasps ” oh my gosh, he is the carbon copy of gis dad “

Aiden smiles looking at the strange woman who was somehow looked similar to his dad.

” Dad , is she my grandma”

Liam nods stroking his hair ” yes son , say hi to her “

” Hi grandma ” he said cutely

Evelyn’s heart almost melted ” oh my baby , hi yourself”

They head the living room and settle down … Aiden seats on Evelyn’s lap smiling he doesn’t know why he felt safe in her arms .

She smiled holding him close , finally a cute grandson she had always dreamed off .

” Where’s dad ” Liam asks dragging stiff Sabrina closer to him.

Evelyn smiles ” I’m sure he will be right down soon “

” What did I miss ‘ Stephen said coming down from the stairs smiling, his gaze immediately landed on Aiden on Evelyn’s lap and his smile deepened.

He seats next to them , taking in Aiden features ” damn , my genes are really dominant “

Evelyn and Sabrina rolled their eyes .

” You’ve my eyes grandpa ” Aiden is
said giggling.

Stephen smiles, his eyes softens ” of course child *turns to Sabrina* no words can express how sorry we are for not believing you and hurting you , pls forgive us …. “

” Me personally I’m so sorry *her voice breaking* I’ve practiced day and night on which words to say or what to do to show you how sorry I’m for all the pain I’ve caused you ” Evelyn adds her eyes watery.

Sabrina looks down holding back tears, yes they’ve hurt her badly but dwelling in the past can solve anything for her right, giving her dad a second chance was something she can never regret and she can say the same for them .

” It’s okay , it’s all in the past now , we can focus on making a brighter future together especially for Aiden “

Liam smiles blinking back tears , what on earth did he do to deserve this type of woman , after all the terrible things he did to her , she still gave him and his parents a second chance and he would never misuse this opportunity.

” Thank you love ” he mutters pressing a long kiss to her forehead.

Aiden frowns and jumps down from Evelyn’s lap, running to him ” daddy where’s my own kiss “

They laugh at his cuteness .

” How can I forget yours sweetheart ” he said and kisses his fat cheeks .

Evelyn Stands up ” this calls for a celebration, I’ll personally cook the meals for it “

” I’ll help ” Sabrina stands up smiling .

They head to the kitchen talking.

Stephen leans back on his seat smiling ” this is the kind of peaceful family he always pictured ” .

[MACGONNEL MANSION]LATER THAT NIGHT.

Sabrina tucks sleeping Aiden to bed smiling, events of what happened earlier today replaying in her mind .

” Well it went perfect more than I imagined ” she mutters pecking Aiden’s forehead. He mutters coherently and continued sleeping.

She smiles blows him a kiss before leaving the room .

” I’ve not seen dad in a while ” she mutters bringing out her phone to call him when a maid walks to her carrying a frame portrait wrapped up

” Uh “

The maid bows ” ma’am, this was delivered to you by an anonymous person “

She takes it confused and dismisses her.

” What is this ” she mutters tearing it open and gasps seeing a stunning painting of her .

Sabrina scans the painting still in shock , she wasn’t expecting this at all , could it be from Liam .

” who painted this ” she mutters crosschecking it and a note slips out.

“Uh”

My mind kept going back to you every second and I couldn’t resist the urge to paint a portrait of you . Pls don’t be offended and throw it away , it’s a part of me .. . I wish to meet you at the Golden city restaurant today and speak to you properly without any interruption. (Pls don’t ignore )

Sabrina sighs looking at the portrait again ” I’ve even forgotten about him “

” I need to go , lemme clarify things with him … I honestly don’t feel anything for him ” she mutters heading to her room to change .

[GOLDEN CITY RESTAURANT]

After few hours of waiting Orion sighted Sabrina from afar walking in majestically, her aura was magnetic.. it wasn’t that angelic aura , no no but a queenly own .

Her simple but elegant emerald off shoulder dress that glittered with the chandelier light was alluring. The dress hugged her curves in the right places bringing out that drop dead hourglass figure.

” Over here ” he manages to wave, his eyes not leaving here for a second.

Sabrina smiles and seats at the table for two prepared for them. ” This was unexpected”

He chuckles nervously ” sorry for not informing you sooner , so what will you like to order “

” Actually I’m just had dinner and I’m very full so I’ll like you to go straight to the point with what you have to say ” she said deadpanned .

Orion felt stabbed at her bluntness ” right so …. Are you angry with me “

” No , why should I be “

” Well you’re very …. Ion know , not so friendly today “

She snickers ” well not everyday is Christmas kiddo , so you were saying “

Orion withheld a sigh , this is not the kind of date he had in mind with her at all .

” Well look who decided to take my girlfriend out on a date ” a cold voice said

They turn in surprise.

Sabrina gasps seeing the blank look on Liam’s face , look that could kill.

” Actually I’ll give you guys space ” Rylan said and disappears … They actually came here to grab a drink and talk about his wedding plans but met this.

Orion scoffs wanting to punch the hell out of him ” sorry but it’s only table for two “

” I can see that ” Liam mutters.

He dragged Sabrina up and within a second she was sitting on his lap while he was on the chair .

” Oh my God Liam ” she mutters beet red , thankfully they were in vip section unless she would have died from embarrassment.

Orion clenches his fist angrily wondering how stupid this man can be . ” Why are you so insecure”

” You’re right” Liam said nuzzling Sabrina’s neck, she stiffens and he pinches her causing her to jerk up

” I’m very insecure and possessive when it comes to what’s mine “

Sabrina bites her lips not daring to look at Orion anymore ” Liam pls , don’t do this here ” ..

He chuckles , replacing his lips with his teeth on her neck , leaving a visible mark .

” I’m starting sweetheart “

Orion scoffs watching him shamelessly bite Sabrina’s neck ” you’re so shameless “

Liam chuckles his hands trailing down her thighs ” you’re right , I’m shameless, only I have the right to make her moan like this …. “

” Liam what the hell are —- “

*His slender long fingers slipped inside her p+*sy and he curled it just right *

” Uhhhhh f+k ! ” .

*Curls it again and again*

She clings to him m0aning in his chest .
