   “I…I don’t know Ma’am” she stuttered, biting her lower lip tentatively.

Louisa scourged at her.. walking closer to Mrs Dawkins as she obviously tried to step away from Louisa 

 

” You are gonna tell me whats going on with the fvcking staffs… Why the Fvck are they staring at me like I’m some dreaded beast or bloody Assassin?” 

“You will tell right now or I’ll sign a resignation letter for you” 

Mrs Dawkins shuddered at Louisa’s threat.

Loose her job? That’s her only source of livelihood.

Without wasting time she ran out of the office and came back with a newspaper.

“Here. ” She gave it to her with shaky hands

Louisa huffed, snatching it away from her … She was obviously angry already.

She briskly walked back to her seat and sat down.

What really has this newspaper got to do with any of this?

She asked within as she slowly opened the it.

Her eyes instantly fell to the Image Boldly posted on it..

“What’s this???” She arched in an uncertain manner.

“What the Fvck am I doing on a Newspaper? ” She asked, her eyes Searching for the headline.

‘ Hell No!!” She shuddered at her very own sight.

She slowly read out the headline, unable to believe what it says..

” The Real Louisa Sullivan, A cold Blooded Murderer” 

What’s the meaning of this???

She asked, flipping to the main page ‘6 ‘ of the sheet. To read the full details.

She searched for the source’s name, but unfortunately, it was withheld. Just the number Alone was available.

    She read slowly, heart beating faster than normal. As tears welled up in her eyes..

The journalist really made her look so much like a beast.

How did this Journalist get to know this?

She only told Bayley and Seon about this secret..

And she knows Bayley would never ever leak out her secret… She trusts bayley so d@mn much.

But seon?…. Did seon do this to get back at her?

Did he do this because she fired him??

This sh°t could tarnish her Image..

She could go to jail for this and be stripped off he Rights…

Why did seon do this to her? 

She trusted him so much..

She sobbed silently… 

Her door suddenly opened and Bayley rushed in…  Panting as if she’s been running forever.

She shut the door behind her and ran over to Louisa with a teary Face..

“You’ve heard” Louisa shuffled as tears ran down her cheeks.

“Y-yes…I have” Bayley cried out wrapping Louisa in her arms.

“My days are numbered Bayley.. Everything I’ve worked hard for…” 

Louisa sobbed more..

Bayley untangled from Louisa’s grip and walked over to the window.

She slid open the luvars and peeped through.

“You don’t wanna go out now Louisa. They’re everywhere.

Too much people.. they are now in the building… The press included”

Bayley sadly announced.

“I should have known better than to tell seon. He gas ruined my life” 

Louisa cried out in regret.

Strands of guilt slit Bayley’s heart. 

It’s her fault not seon’s…

Bayley moved towards Louisa with puffy eyes.

“It isn’t seon Louisa… It’s my fault” She blurted out as Louisa gawked at her soberly.

“What do you mean?” Louisa sniffled. Unable to understand what bayley meant.

Bayley squatted close before Louisa and narrated everything to her in tears.

“It’s okay Bayley.. I know you wouldn’t leak out something like this Andrea if she didn’t make you much drunk. It’s okay” 

Louisa consoled bayley who cried out uncontrollably for betraying her friend so cheaply.

“I’m so sorry Louisa… Please forgive me” 

“It’s okay Bayley.. it’s not your fault. All blame goes to Andrea…

I thought she already has seon to herself.. why would she do such a thing to me?”  Louisa asked in puzzlement.

“Andrea’ mentioned to me that she isn’t the one in need of the blackmail.. it’s her Mom” 

“Her mom?… What does her mom want with me?” 

“She never told me but I Know that there’s something she isn’t telling us” Bayley retorted.

Louisa took back the newspaper and brought out the phone number.

She dialed it straight to her phone.

“What are you doing Louisa?” 

“I’m calling the source Bay. I have to defend my name. ” Louisa stated Matter of factly.

“Okay Louisa… I’m with you in any step you take” bayley smiled in assurance. And then paused for a while.

“What’s the problem bayley?” 

“It’s uh…. Andrea’… ” She stuttered..

“What about her?”

“She sent cards. She’s getting married this Saturday….. To Seon” 

Louisa’s heart shrinked in pain.

She stared into blank space for long before sighing out in defeat.

“Good luck for them” She Blurted out nonchalantly… 

Trying hard to hide her unshed tears…
