Sofia arrived at the library pretty late, and Mabel stared at her, her brow furrowed.

"Why are you so late?" she asked quietly, not wanting to disturb the other people in the library.

Her face turned sheepish as she brought out her books from her bag. "Something came up."

Mabel stared at her, amused, her eyes sparkling. "You wanna tell me what came up? Your mood yesterday is different now." She leaned in, her voice barely above a whisper. "Did Shawn make it up to you?" Sofia's face turned defensive, but a hint of a smile played on her lips. "I knew it! Girl, you are on fire."

"Can we just read now? I don't have much time. Shawn set up a time for me, and if I don't meet up, it's gonna be another of his punishments."

"Aw, that's kinda cute." She said, amused.

The two friends started reading, their faces filled with concentration.

Back home, Shawn was relaxing at the poolside, his face relaxed, and was on the phone. "Is everything ready?" he asked, his voice firm.

Troy and Jeff walked over, and Jeff was holding a bottle of red wine he brought from home. He came to chill out with them. Shawn shook hands with him while still on the phone, his expression friendly.

"Ok, talk to you later." He hung up and turned to Jeff, his smile warm. "How is it going?"

Jeff smiled, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "Going great."

Troy's brow furrowed, his expression curious. "Is that from your wine company?"

Jeff nodded, his grin turning proud. "Yes, I just made it, and I am about to launch it, so I brought it here to have you guys taste it first."

Troy's face lit up, his eyes excited. "That's nice, I will get the glasses."

Shawn smiled, his eyes appreciative. "Thanks."

Some moments later, they were sipping from the wine.

Troy' was impressed. "This tastes nice."

Shawn's eyes closed, savoring the taste. "It's really nice, I will like one of it."

Jeff beamed, his smile proud. "Sure, thank you."

As they continued sipping from the wine, Troy's expression turned thoughtful.

"Guys, I have something to say." Shawn and Jeff looked at him, their expressions curious.  "I was thinking of us going for a vacation. Mabel's school will be resuming soon, and I want to take her on a vacation. I don't know if you guys will want to."

Jeff's face was enthusiastic. "That's good, I was planning on that too."

Shawn's face turned thoughtful, his eyes narrowing. "That's a good one."

Troy's brow furrowed. "So, when do you think it will be convenient for us?"

"My wine launching is at the end of this month." Jeff said.

Shawn's face turned decisive. "How about next weekend?"

"Am ok with that." Troy said.

Jeff nodded, his smile returning. "Me too."

The three friends cheered and continued chatting, their faces filled with excitement and anticipation.

Back to Sofia and Mabel at the library, Sofia excused herself to the restroom. She came out and was shocked to see an unfamiliar guy leaning against the wall, smirking at her.

His eyes gleamed with a flirtatious intensity, making Sofia's skin crawl. "Hello, beautiful," he said, his voice low and husky.

Sofia's expression turned cold, her eyes narrowing. She ignored him and turned to leave, but the guy blocked her path.

His smile turned menacing, his eyes glinting with a threatening light. "Is there a problem?" She asked, her voice firm but laced with a hint of fear.

The guy tried to touch her face, and Sofia quickly reeled backward, her eyes flashing with anger. "My name is..." he started to say.

Sofia cut him short, her expression disdainful. "I don't care. Please leave my way now that you still have the chance to." She tried to move, but the guy still blocked her path.

His eyes turned predatory, his smile twisted. "Just listen to what I have to say. I like you, and I haven't been able to get my eyes off you since you entered the library."

Sofia rolled her eyes,"You think I'm interested in listening to you?"

She was getting pissed off, and her fear was slowly turning to anger.

Mabel, on the other hand, was wondering why Sofia was taking too long. She stood up to look for her when suddenly someone stopped her. She turned to find the two unfamiliar guy smiling flirtatiously at her.

His eyes gleamed with a mischievous intensity, making Mabel's skin crawl. "Hey, pretty, are you worried about your friend?" he asked, his voice low and husky.

Mabel's expression turned curious, her eyes narrowing. She stared around the library, noticing that everyone was looking at their direction, and some were hastily leaving. With the way the guys were dressed and looked, one could tell they were trouble.

"Who are you?" Mabel asked, her voice firm.

The guy grinned wickedly, his eyes glinting with a menacing light. "You don't need to know. My friend is having fun with your friend right now, and it will be better if you don't interfere."

Sofia was trying to get away from the guy, knowing he was trouble. With the way he was looking at her, if she didn't do anything, the guy was ready to hurt her.

Just then, her cell phone vibrated. She slowly took a peek and used her finger to pick it up without the guy noticing.

"It will be best if you get out of my way," Sofia said, her eyes flashing with anger.

The guy smirked, pushing closer to her, his eyes gleaming with a menacing intensity. "I was trying to be gentle with you, it looks like you want it in a hard way. You are trying to be tough, no one has ever rejected me, I always get what I want."

Sofia's expression turned fierce, her eyes blazing with determination. She kicked him hard on his balls, and the guy groaned in pain, falling to the floor. Sofia ran out quickly.

She came to the library to see Mabel being surrounded by two guys trying to be flirtatious with her. Sofia's eyes widened in alarm as she noticed the whole library was empty, even the owner of the library was nowhere to be seen.

"Sofia," Mabel called, her voice trembling with fear. Sofia rushed to her side, both holding each other tightly. "I think these people are trouble, what do we do?" Mabel asked, her eyes wide with fear.

The guy Sofia kicked at the restroom yelled angrily from behind, still reeling from the pain. "You! You are so done for it!"

Sofia and Mabel held tight to each other, knowing there was no escape and they were surrounded. The guy rushed to where they were, trying to grab Sofia when suddenly a hand held him, the guy groaning in pain as the hand squeezed his hand tight.

The other guy, looking surprised, felt a hard punch from the other side of his face. Blood gushed out from his mouth, and he fell to the floor. The other guy wasn't left behind.

Sofia and Mabel raised their faces to see it was their men. Sofia could see the dangerous look on Shawn's face as he squeezed the guy's hand, his eyes blazing with anger.

Mabel's eyes widened in relief as she saw Troy. They sighed in relief, knowing they were safe.

"How dare you!" Shawn said angrily, continuing to squeeze the guy's hand.

"Please! Let go!" the guy cried out, and Shawn hit him hard on the face, and he fell to the floor. Shawn ordered his men to deal with them mercilessly.

They obeyed, picking the three guys up and leaving with them. Mabel and Sofia rushed into their arms, relief written all over their faces.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Shawn asked, his voice laced with concern.

Troy caressed Mabel's face, his eyes scanning her for any signs of injury. "Are you hurt?" he asked.

"How did you guys...?" Mabel started to ask, but was cut off.

"I called Sofia, and when she picked it up, and I heard her talking to someone, that's when I knew something was wrong," Shawn explained, his face still set in a determined expression.

"We didn't know a library can be haunted like this," Mabel said.

"I heard those guys are the trouble in this place, making the library uncomfortable for everyone," Shawn said. "Well, this will be their end."

"Let's get out of here," Troy said, and the ladies picked their bags, and they left with their men, relief and gratitude written all over their faces.
