The next morning, Shawn woke up beside Sofia, having cuddled her all night after calling one of the female staff to change her clothes. He sat upright on the bed, his gaze fixed on Sofia, who was still deep in sleep. His face softened as he covered her properly with the blanket, then stood up and left.
Meanwhile, Rachel was on the phone with her mom, her face reddening with anger.
"Yes, he didn't sleep in the room with me, I gave him the juice, he drank it." She said on the phone, her voice rising.
Shawn approached his door step and was about to enter when he heard Rachel on the phone talking. He paused, his ears perked up, and listened.
"I added the substance to his juice, I served him, and he drank it all. He could have come to me instead. I saw him in Sofia's room last night, cuddling her in his arms. It means he slept with her. My plan has been ruined! What do I do now? If he finds out what I did, I will be doomed for it." She exclaimed.
Shawn's face darkened as he interrupted her from behind. "What did you do?"
Rachel froze, her cell phone slipping from her hand. Her eyes widened in fear.
"Answer Rachel, what did you do?" He pressed, his voice low and menacing.
Her face paled. "N-Nothing," she stuttered nervously.
He scoffed, his eyes narrowing. "I heard what you were saying on the phone. Did you add something to the juice you served me yesterday?"
Her eyes darted around, avoiding Shawn's hard gaze. "N-no, I didn't." Shawn's face twisted in disgust. He moved to his drawer, pulled out a gun, and Rachel gasped, falling to her knees.
he seated himself on the couch, holding the gun. "Start talking now that I am still in a good mood."
"Please, don't kill me."She trembled, sweat beading on her forehead.
His face remained impassive. "You got five seconds to start talking."
"I...I did it. I tried to drug you and make you sleep with me in order to get pregnant for you and then trap you with it."Her voice shook. She sobbed, her body shaking uncontrollably as Shawn's gaze bore into her.

After some minutes, Rachel was sobbing uncontrollably in her mother's arms, her face streaked with tears, after Shawn had chased her out of the house and threatened to end her life if she ever came across him again.
"I won't support you on this, what you did was uncalled for, you are just so lucky he didn't end your life there," Mabel said, her voice firm, her eyes disapproving.
Mrs. Ruth intervened, her tone gentle. "Come on, Mabel, don't blame her, she did it because she loves him."
Mabel's face twisted in disgust. "Love? That isn't love, Mom, that's obsession. If you really love a man, you won't try to drug him into sleeping with you." Her words were laced with disdain as she continued. "Besides, this was all your fault, you people talked her into it, and now see where it has landed her."
V attempted to console Rachel. "Rachel, stop crying, another good man will come."
Rachel's face contorted in anguish as she sobbed. "I don't want another man, I want Shawn."
Mabel's tone was unsympathetic. "Too bad you let him slip off your hands."
Mr. Mark intervened, his voice calm. "Mabel, that's enough, can't you see she is hurting?" Mabel scoffed, rolling her eyes.
"Please, Dad, you have to help me talk to him, I promise I will change."Rachel begged.
Mr. Mark's face softened, his tone reassuring. "Don't worry, I will talk to him."
The family continued to console Rachel, trying to ease her pain.
*SHAWN'S MANSION*
Sofia finally woke up from sleep, her face contorted in pain as she felt a sharp pain in her head. She sat upright on the bed, trying to remember what happened, but her mind was a complete blank. Then, Shawn entered the room holding a cup of green tea.
"You are awake," he said, his tone gentle, as he moved to sit next to her.
Her eyes narrowed, her brow furrowed in confusion. "What happened? What time is it?" she asked, taking the tea from Shawn and sipping from it.
"It's past ten." His face calm.
Her eyes widened in shock. "Ten! Why did I sleep so long?" she exclaimed.
"That's because you were intoxicated last night."He said
"Intoxi what? What do you mean?" Her face scrunched in confusion.
"Can you remember the last thing you drank yesterday?" His tone patient.
Her eyes glazed over as she thought for a while. "Yes, I remember I came home exhausted and I was thirsty for something to drink. I saw a chilled juice on the dining table, I quickly drank it and refilled it before the owner comes back."
"Oh, I see."His face somber.
"Did something happen? Was that the reason why I woke up so late? Was something in the drink?"Her eyes sparkled with curiosity.
His expression turned grave. "Yes, Rachel drugged the drink for me to drink, and you drank it instead. She tried to lure me into sleeping with her, and when she gets pregnant, she can then trap me with it."
Her eyes widened in shock, her face pale. "She did what?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
He nodded, his face serious. "I heard her talking on the phone with her mom about it after her plan got ruined."
Her face twisted in disgust. "Oh my gosh! Why will she do that?" Her eyes scanned her body, and her face fell as she realized her clothes had been changed. "What happened? Did I do something crazy last night? Who changed my clothes? Was it you?" she asked, her voice laced with concern, staring at Shawn, who scoffed.
"Which one should I answer?" His face was amused.
Her eyes narrowed. "All!"
Shawn's face twisted into a smirk. "You did a lot of crazy things to me last night."
Her eyes widened in surprise. "I did? What did I do?"
"You want me to remind you?" His smirk deepened. Sofia's face fell, her eyes avoiding Shawn's gaze. "You almost stripped me naked and tried to seduce me," Shawn continued, his tone teasing. "Do you know how hard I had to control myself?"
"That's not true, I can never do that." Her face flushed, and she gulped nervously.
"Do you want me to remind you of how you did it and the words you said to me last night?" He teased, pulling Sofia towards him.
Her eyes darted around, and she pushed back, trying to create some distance. "You know I was intoxicated, if I was in my right senses, I would never do that."
Shawn's face remained unyielding. "Sure." He continued to push closer to Sofia on the bed, his movements deliberate, until her back rested on the edge of the bed, and there was no escape. Shawn's eyes locked onto Sofia's, and she gulped hard.
Her voice trembled. "What are you doing?"
His smirk returned. "How can I get my reward for helping you last night?"
"What reward?" her face scrunched in confusion.
"Do you remember what you asked me last night?"He asked, his tone turned sly.
Her eyes darted around, trying to recall. "I don't remember anything, whatever things I said was because I was under an influence, none is real."
His face twisted into a sly grin. "You think so."
"I know so... Please move back." her voice firm.
Shawn's face remained unyielding. "What if I refused?"
Her eyes flashed with determination. "I will make you."
"I bet you to try." His tone turned taunting.
Sofia tried to push him off, but he was too strong, his body pinning hers to the bed.
Sofia's face fell, her eyes flashing with resignation. "Fine!" she exclaimed. "What do you want?"
His smirk deepened, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Fulfilling your request," he said, his voice low and husky.
He leaned his face closer, his gaze fixed on Sofia's lips. Her eyes fluttered closed, her lips parting slightly in anticipation. Shawn's smirk grew wider as he leaned in closer, his lips almost touching hers.
But just as suddenly, he pulled away, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Silly you," he teased.
Her eyes snapped open, her face flushing with embarrassment. She pushed Shawn off her, her eyes flashing with anger, and ran to the bathroom.
His face contorted in a fit of giggles as he watched Sofia flee. His laughter echoed through the room, a deep, rich sound that seemed to mock Sofia's frustration.
