    ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★

Earlier that day, Violet's grandmother came to meet Sly in the veranda, seated quietly while drinking and smoking. Sly's face turned annoyed, his eyebrows furrowing.

"What do you want?" he asked gruffly.

Violet's grandmother's face turned calm, her eyes cast downward. "To talk to you," she said softly. Sly's face turned skeptical, his eyes narrowing. "Do you have a minute?" she asked, and Sly offered her a seat, his expression still skeptical.

Violet's grandmother's face turned serious, her eyes locked on Sly's. "What do you want to talk about?" he asked, his voice low.

Violet's grandmother's face turned determined, her eyes flashing with conviction. "How to bring Violet to come stay in this house," she said.

Sly's face turned surprised, his eyebrows furrowing. Violet's grandmother's face turned nervous, her eyes avoiding Sly's gaze. "I can only bring her here if I pay the money I owe Shawn," she said.

Sly's face turned thoughtful, his eyes cast downward. "So?" he asked, his voice low.

Violet's grandmother's face turned pleading, her eyes locked on Sly's. "Give me the money, and I will give it to him as a return for my granddaughter," she said nervously.

Back to reality, Violet stood up, looking at her grandmother surprisedly. Her face turned shocked, her eyes wide with wonder.

"What are you doing here, grandma?" she asked.

Her grandmother's face turned warm, her eyes shining with love. "To take you with me, finally you will be free from him. I have come with the money, and now you can come with me," she said.

Rachel's face turned confused, her eyebrows furrowing. Shawn stood with his face expressionless, his eyes calm.

Violet's face turned angry, her eyes flashing with fury. "And you think I will trust you and go back with you?" she asked, her voice cold.

Her grandmother's face turned pleading, her eyes locked on Violet's. "I know you are angry with us, we are sorry, we realize our mistake, please forgive us," she said.

Violet's face turned cold, her eyes narrowing. "Never! I will never come with you, you guys are no longer my family. I will urge you to leave and never come back," she said angrily.

Her grandmother's face turned desperate, her eyes shining with tears. "Violet, please listen to me, I know we made a mistake, but I am here now to take you home," she said.

Violet scoffed, her face turned disdainful. "Home my foot! This is my home now, please leave and don't ever come back. It's better I am living in hell here than go back with you," she said coldly and left for her room.

"Violet..." her grandmother got interrupted.

"Get out of here," Shawn said coldly, his face still expressionless.

"I am not leaving until you return my granddaughter to me, this is the money I owe you, please release my granddaughter to me," Violet's grandmother said, her face turned desperate, her eyes shining with tears.

Shawn's face turned cold, his eyes narrowing. "Don't make me repeat myself again, leave now that I am still in a good mood," he said, his voice low and menacing.

Violet's grandmother's face turned angry, her eyes flashing with fury. "I am not afraid of you, I just want my granddaughter back, I made a big mistake by selling her to you," she said, her voice loud and accusatory. Rachel's face turned shocked, her eyes wide with surprise. "Please, take your money and release her to me..." Violet's grandmother pleaded.

Shawn's face turned furious, his eyes blazing with anger. "Leave!!!". He yelled, and the whole building echoed with his anger. Rachel and Violet's grandmother flinched in fear. "I don't make do something that you will leave to regret" Shawn warned, his voice cold and menacing.

Violet's grandmother's face turned sad, her eyes welling up with tears. "I will never give up! You are a monster, I regret ever giving my granddaughter to you," she said, and left with the money, Rachel staring after her.

Shawn sighed and walked away, his face still cold and expressionless.

"That's why," Rachel said, and ran after Violet's grandmother. She saw her heading to the gate in tears and rushed to catch up with her. "Wait," Rachel said, and Violet's grandmother turned to her, her face streaked with tears.

"Who are you?" she asked, her voice weak.

"I'm Rachel, and I'm Shawn's fiancée," Rachel said, smiling.

Violet's grandmother's face turned hopeful, her eyes shining with tears. "Really? Please help me talk to him to release my granddaughter to me," she said, her voice pleading.

Rachel's face turned thoughtful, her eyes narrowing. "Sure, but first, I want to know the whole story," she said, staring at Violet's grandmother.

Meanwhile, Violet squeezed herself on the bed, staring out the window in tears. Her face was contorted in pain, her eyes red and puffy.

"No, I will never go with you, never!" she sobbed, her body shaking with emotion.

Just then, a knock on the door jolted her out of her thoughts. "Sofia," Shawn called, his voice low and gentle.

Violet rushed to open the door for him, her eyes meeting his. Her face turned desperate, her eyes pleading. She hugged him tight quickly, sobbing. "Don't let me go, I don't want to go with her, please let me stay here," she said, her voice shaking with emotion.

Shawn's face turned calm, his eyes softening. He sighed and pulled away from her, cleaning her tears with his thumb. He took her hand and led her inside, and they sat down on the couch.

Violet's face was still tear-stained, her eyes red and puffy. Shawn's face turned gentle, his eyes locked on hers. "Stop crying now," he said, his voice soft.

Violet sniffed, her face still sad. "Will you collect the money and return me to her?" she asked, her voice weak.

Shawn's face turned thoughtful, his eyebrows furrowing. "Do you want to go with her?" he asked, his voice low.

Violet's face turned horrified, her eyes wide with fear. She rolled her head. "No, I want to stay here. If I go with her, it might be worse. What if she takes me to Sly? I don't want to enter another hell that I am already in," she said, her voice shaking with emotion.

Shawn's face turned curious, his eyebrows furrowing. "Hell? Does this place look like hell to you?" he asked, his voice low.

Violet's face turned avoidant, her eyes cast downward. "It was before," she said, her voice weak. Shawn scoffed, his face turned amused. "Please, don't take me to her, I promise to work here and gather the money and give it to you," Violet said, her face turned desperate.

Shawn's face turned teasing, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Really? Do you think you can pay me back the money? You might end up spending a hundred years to get the money to pay me," he said, his voice low.

Violet's face turned shocked, her eyes wide with wonder. "A hundred years? Is the money that big?" she asked, her voice weak. Shawn nodded, his face still teasing. "What did my grandmother use that money for?" Violet asked, her face turned confused.

Shawn's face turned thoughtful, his eyebrows furrowing. "But I can give you a new proposal if you want to keep staying here," he said, his voice low.

Violet's face turned hopeful, her eyes shining with excitement. "Anything, and I will do it," she said, her voice eager.

Shawn smirked, his face turned amused. Meanwhile, Rachel was by the door, listening to their conversation. Her face turned thoughtful, her eyes cast downward. She sighed as she left.
