Shawn's face turned worried, his eyebrows furrowing, his eyes scanning the room. He had tried to reach Violet's number, but she wasn't answering her phone. He paced around his living room, his expression turned anxious, his hands clenched into fists. Then, Sly's words struck him, and he rushed to his room to get dressed, his face set in determination.
Meanwhile, Sly's face turned calm, his eyes glinting with amusement, as he tied up Violet's hands at the edge of the bed.
"What are you doing? Let me go," Violet said, her voice laced with fear, her eyes wide with panic.
Sly's expression turned reassuring, his eyes softening. "Relax, I am not going to hurt you," he said, standing in front of her, his voice smooth.
Violet's face turned skeptical, her eyebrows furrowing. "Why did you tie me up then?" she asked, staring hard at him, her eyes flashing with anger.
Sly's smile turned wicked, his eyes glinting with mischief. "To prevent you from escaping," he smirked.
Violet's face turned horrified, her eyes wide with fear. "It's going to be just us tonight, we are going to consummate our marriage," Sly said, his voice low and husky.
Violet's expression turned defiant, her eyes flashing with anger. "Never! I will never let you touch me, you are a monster!" she spat, her voice venomous.
Sly scoffed, his face turned amused, his eyes glinting with amusement. "That makes Shawn the same as me," he said, his voice smooth.
Violet's face turned indignant, her eyebrows furrowing. "He is not anything like you, he may be hard as a coconut, but deep inside of it, he is soft, he is not a monster like you, and he will never force himself on a woman," she said, her voice firm.
Sly chuckled, his face turned smug, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Is that what he told you? You really don't know him that well, do you?" he smirked.
Violet's face turned angry, her eyes flashing with defiance. Sly leaned in to kiss her lips, but she turned her face away quickly. Sly smirked and pushed backwards. "Let me take a cool shower, and then we can get down to business," he said, and left for the bathroom, his face turned confident, his eyes glinting with anticipation.
immediately, Sly enter the bathroom, violet tried so hard to untie herself, but it was too difficult, she struggled and struggled until she became tired and sad, she suddenly thought of someone to come rescue her from this hell she was leaving in.
Some minutes after, Sly came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist and water dripping from his body. He had a dragon tattoo on the side of his tummy, and Violet's eyes widened in fear as she quickly looked away, her face pale.
Sly's face turned amused, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Come on, don't be shy, it's yours to look at anyway," he smirked, moving towards her.
Just then, someone knocked on the door, and a sound of gunshots was heard. Violet screamed, her eyes wide with fear.
Sly's expression turned annoyed, his eyebrows furrowing. "What the hell?" he said, moving to open the door. He saw one of his men standing there, looking worried.
"What's it? Who shot that gun?" Sly asked, his voice firm.
The man hesitated before speaking. "There is a problem, boss. Shawn and his men are here, surrounding the whole place."
Sly's face turned red with anger, his eyes blazing. "What the hell is he doing here?" he exclaimed.
The man looked nervous. "No matter what happened, don't let him inside."
Sly's expression turned furious, his jaw setting. "Is too late, boss. He is already in the living room."
Sly slapped the man hard, his face twisted in anger. "How dare you let him in! I will chop off your head for this," he threatened.
The man apologized, looking scared. "I'm sorry, boss."
Sly slammed the door against him, looking angry. "That moron," he grunted, and then rushed to the closet to dress up.
Meanwhile, Shawn and his men were in the living room, surrounding the whole place. Sly's men stood confused, unsure of what to do, as they were taken by surprise. It was difficult to take Shawn's men down, as they were well-trained and dangerous.
Violet's family looked scared, holding tight to each other. Shawn met eyes with Violet's grandma and scoffed, his expression turned cold.
"Long time no see," Shawn said, his voice smooth.
Violet's grandma hid her face from him, looking guilty. Diana asked, looking scared, "Mom, do you know him?"
Violet's grandma nodded nervously. "Yes, he is the one I sold Violet to."
Diana and her family were surprised, their eyes wide with shock. "WHAT?!!" Diana exclaimed.
Sly interrupted from the stairs, his face turned angry. "What the heck are you doing in my house?"
Shawn stared hard at him, his eyes blazing, and rushed to him, holding tight to his shirt. Sly's men brought out their guns, pointing at Shawn, and Shawn's men did the same, pointing their guns at Sly's men. The atmosphere was tense, with everyone waiting for someone to make a move.
Shawn's face turned angry, his eyes blazing, as he asked, "Where is she?"
Sly's expression turned smug, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Where is who?" he asked, and Shawn's grip on him tightened. Sly's face turned pale, but he scoffed, trying to maintain his composure.
"Don't bring out the beast in me, you don't know what I am capable of," Shawn warned, his voice low and menacing.
Sly's expression turned confident, his eyes flashing with defiance. "I am not afraid of you, Shawn. She is not yours to keep, I took what belongs to me," he said, his voice firm.
Meanwhile, Violet's face turned determined, her eyes flashing with desperation, as she struggled to untie herself. She finally managed to free herself and rushed to the door, trying to open it, but it was locked. "Let me out!" she screamed, barging against the door.
Shawn, who was still holding tight to Sly, heard her voice and his expression turned concerned. He pushed Sly aside and headed in the direction of Violet's voice. Sly tried to stop him, but Shawn pushed him aside, and he fell hard on the floor. Sly's men rushed to help him up, looking surprised and worried.
Sly's face turned furious, his eyes blazing with anger. "You bastard!" he yelled.
Shawn got to the door and opened it, his eyes meeting Violet's panicked face. "Shawn?" she called, rushing into his arms. "You came," she sobbed, and Shawn pulled away from her, holding her hand.
"Are you okay?" he asked, his expression turned concerned. Violet nodded, her eyes welling up with tears.
"Please take me out of here," she pleaded.
Shawn turned to leave with her, but Sly pointed a gun at him, and Violet's eyes widened in fear. "If you move an inch with my wife, I will pull the trigger," Sly warned, his face turned cold.
Shawn's expression turned fearless, his eyes flashing with defiance. "I dare you!" he replied coldly. His men stood behind Sly, pointing guns at him, and Sly knew he was outnumbered.
Sly's face turned angry, his eyes blazing with frustration. "Just so you know, this isn't over," he said, his voice low and menacing.
Shawn walked away with Violet, his men following closely. Sly grunted frustratedly, his face twisted in anger. "Dammit!" he exclaimed.
Violet took another look at her family as she left with Shawn, her eyes filled with tears. They entered the car and drove off, leaving Sly and his men behind.

An hour later, they arrived home and went inside. Shawn's face turned concerned, his eyes softening.
"Are you ok?" he asked.
Violet turned to him, her face twisted in anger and hurt. She sighed and blurted out, "I am not ok, I can never be ok, I mean why will my family hate me so much, what wrong have I ever done to them to deserve such a harsh punishment from them."
Shawn's expression turned tired, his eyes cast downward. "Can we have this conversation tomorrow?" he asked.
Violet's face turned stubborn, her eyes flashing with defiance. "No, we can't! I am damn furious right now," she said, pouting.
Shawn's eyebrows furrowed, his eyes narrowing. "With who actually? Sly or your family?" he asked.
Violet's face turned indignant, her eyes blazing with anger. "With everyone! Where my family cursed with old men, there are young men out there who they could have sold me to, not old men," she said, and Shawn raised his eyebrows. "First, it was you and now Sly too," she grunted frustratedly.
Shawn's expression turned amused, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Are you calling me old?" he asked.
Violet's face turned sheepish, her eyes avoiding his gaze. "No, I was just saying though," she said.
Shawn's face turned serious, his eyes narrowing. "The least you can do is to say thank you for saving you from him," he said.
Violet's expression turned sarcastic, her eyes rolling. "Do you know how worried I got, you took so long to come save me, what if I was given five seconds to call someone that will rescue me within two seconds, just know I will be dead before you arrive," she said, and Shawn scoffed.
"I am not in the mood for your nagging right now," he said, turning to leave.
Violet's face turned indignant, her eyes flashing with anger. "I wasn't nagging, I was trying to let you know you should always come on time, what if that monster must have his way with me, what if..." she got interrupted.
"Sofia!" Shawn called, getting pissed off. "If you don't stop talking, I will make you," he said.
Violet's expression turned defiant, her eyes flashing with anger. "Why? I wasn't saying anything wrong, I was just trying to hasten your action whenever you sense someone in great danger, let's say for example, Rachel was in the same position as me and she..." Suddenly, Shawn rushed to her and shut her up with a kiss.
Violet was caught off guard, her eyes blinking several times in shock. Suddenly, a loud thud was heard, making Shawn pull away from Violet. They turned to see Rachel standing in front of the door entrance, looking stunned as her bag fell off her hand.
