The next day, Shawn was having his lunch alone in the dining table, his expression turned calm, his eyes focused on his food. Violet came out of her room to join him, her expression turned determined, her eyes flashing.

"You are up, how are you feeling?" Shawn asked, his expression turned concerned, his eyebrows raising. Violet frowned at him, her expression turned angry, her eyes narrowing. "What? Why that look? Has the fever affected your physical expression?" Shawn teased, his expression turned amused, his eyes glinting.

Violet scoffed, her expression turned indignant, her eyes flashing. "Why did you do it?" she asked unfriendly, her voice firm.

Shawn's expression turned nonchalant, his eyes calm. "Do what?" he asked, continuing to eat, his expression turned carefree.

Violet's expression turned accusing, her eyes blazing. "You know what I am talking about, about yesterday when...when," she gulped nervously.

Shawn's expression turned innocent, his eyebrows raising. "When I forced you to take your drugs," he said, and Violet frowned deeper, her expression turned furious, her eyes flashing.

Shawn care less, his expression turned unbothered, his eyes focused on his food. "You didn't force me, you took advantage of me by using your mouth to feed me," Violet said, her voice firm.

Shawn scoffed, his expression turned amused, his eyes glinting. "You were stubborn and I needed to teach you a lesson," he said.

Violet's expression turned hurt, her eyes welling up with tears. "By stealing my first kiss from me," she said, her voice trembling.

Shawn scoffed, his expression turned dismissive, his eyes rolling. "I didn't kiss you, that wasn't a kiss," he said.

Violet's expression turned challenging, her eyes flashing. "Then what was it?" she asked.

Shawn's expression turned teasing, his eyes glinting. "Do you want me to show you what a kiss is like?" he asked.

Violet's expression turned defiant, her eyes blazing. "I won't let you, I don't kiss old men, I will never allow you to come anywhere close to me, you took advantage of my illness," she said.

Shawn's expression turned confident, his eyes glinting. "Don't bother, you are not my type anyway, I will never kiss you even if you are the last woman standing on earth, I don't deal with kids, and you are not even close to being my type," he said.

Violet's expression turned furious, her eyes flashing. "So, be it!" she said, and left for her room angrily, slamming the door behind her.

Shawn's expression turned amused, his eyes glinting, as he watched her leave.

Sly was seated alone in the living room with his legs crossed, his expression turned relaxed, his eyes calm. Diana came over dressed in a maid uniform, her expression turned resentful, her eyes flashing.

She came over to serve him juice, her movements stiff, her eyes avoiding his. "This looks good on you," Sly teased, his expression turned amused, his eyes glinting.

Diana frowned at him, her expression turned annoyed, her eyebrows furrowing. "Is there anything else you need?" she asked, her voice unlikely, her tone cold.

Sly's expression turned playful, his eyes sparkling. "Yeah, take a sip," he ordered, and Diana's expression turned suspicious, her eyes narrowing.

"Why? Do you think I poisoned it?" she asked, her voice firm, her eyes flashing.

Sly's expression turned confident, his eyes glinting. "I don't trust you, so have a sip," he said, and Diana took a sip from the drink, her expression turned reluctant, her eyes cast downward.

"Happy?" she frown and walked away, her movements stiff, her eyes flashing. Sly smirked after her, his expression turned triumphant, his eyes glinting.

Meanwhile, Rachel was seated alone in the veranda, lost in thought of Shawn, her expression turned melancholic, her eyes distant. Her mother came and sat next to her, her expression turned concerned, her eyes soft.

"Are you okay, dear?" Mrs. Ruth asked, and Rachel sighed, her expression turned sad, her eyes cast downward.

"I'm fine, Mom," she said, her voice soft, her tone resigned.

Mrs. Ruth's expression turned inquiring, her eyebrows raising. "You don't look okay, your mood for the past few days is not good, what happened?" she asked, and Rachel was quiet, her expression turned introspective, her eyes cast downward.

Mrs. Ruth's expression turned gentle, her eyes soft. "Is it about Shawn?" she asked, and Rachel's expression turned hesitant, her eyes darting.

"Mom, do you think I am forcing myself to him?" Rachel asked, her voice uncertain, her tone questioning.

Mrs. Ruth's expression turned reassuring, her eyes calm. "No, I don't think so, why do you ask?" she said,

Rachel's expression turned vulnerable, her eyes welling up with tears. "I don't know, I just feel he doesn't want me in as much as I want him, he hardly replies to any of my messages or even calls me, I am the one calling and asking him out on a date," Rachel said, her voice sad, her tone resigned.

Mrs. Ruth's expression turned sympathetic, her eyes soft. "I understand, I know he likes you, maybe he is too scared to show it," she said, and Rachel's expression turned longing, her eyes shining with tears.

"I love him, Mom, I want to have him to myself," Rachel said, her voice barely above a whisper, her tone sad. Her mother placed a consoling arm around her, her expression turned comforting, her eyes soft.

The next day, Mabel came to pay a visit to Violet, they were seated in the veranda chatting, Mabel's expression turned concerned, her eyes soft.

"How are you feeling now?" Mabel asked, her voice gentle, her eyebrows raising.

Violet's expression turned relieved, her eyes calming. "I'm getting better," she said, and Mabel's expression turned happy, her eyes sparkling.

"That's good, I was so worried and lonely in school, no one to chat with or have lunch with," Mabel said, her expression turned melancholic, her eyes cast downward. Violet smiled, her expression turned sympathetic, her eyes soft.

"I think the reason why you were beaten down with fever, is because of stress," Mabel added, her expression turned thoughtful, her eyebrows furrowing.

Violet's expression turned reflective, her eyes cast downward. "Yeah, I think so too," she said.

Mabel's expression turned inquiring, her eyebrows raising. "So, do you want to quit your job now?" she asked, and Violet's expression turned determined, her eyes firm.

"No, I haven't even worked up to a month there," Violet said.

Mabel's expression turned cautionary, her eyes serious. "Ok, but you still have to be careful," she said, and Violet nodded, her expression turned understanding, her eyes soft.

Mabel's expression turned curious, her eyebrows raising. "You will resume school tomorrow?" she asked.

Violet's expression turned affirmative, her eyes sparkling. "Yes," she said.

Mabel's expression turned satisfied, her eyes calming. "Ok," she said, and they continued chatting.

Sly came to his restaurant, his expression turned furious, his eyes blazing. He found out Violet had been absent for days now, and no one knew what happened to her. He scolded them for not telling him on time, his expression turned angry, his voice loud.

"If she doesn't return to work by tomorrow, ten percent of your salary will be deducted for two months," Sly said angrily, and walked away, leaving the workers scared and worried.

The workers' expressions turned fearful, their eyes wide with worry. They prayed Violet would return to work tomorrow, their faces tense with anxiety.

Sly entered his car, his expression turned worried, his eyes cast downward. He couldn't reach Violet on the phone, and his expression turned concerned, his eyebrows furrowing.
