Roxanne went to her mother's grave in the cementary with bouquet of flowers in her hand, she knelt down before the grave and cried:
"Mother my heart wept bleed and wept gravely for your death, no one would thought it will be this early. You promised to stay with me but why did you left, you never told me that you are just pulling my leg. You was mean to me before, you may be mean and be a frustrated mother before but you have changed and it is time for me to be rejoicing with you but you left.
You left when everything was about to turn good, when we are about to get better. We shared little time in life, how can I forget those little happy moment we shared. How can I forget how you scolded me when I was rude to you.
I will always remember to pray for you mother and with that I know you will have peaceful night.
Goodnight mama may your soul rest in perfect peace. ADIEU MAMA ". She concluded her speech and placed the flowers on her grave and went back home to meet her father in total mess.
He was holding a picture crying profusely. It was the picture of their wedding day.
"Daddy stop it, don't harm yourself". Advised Roxanne.
"Who can replace Rachael in my heart? No one. She stood by my side when I was no one she worked with me so I won't lack anything. Tell me who can replace her". Mr Brown cried aloud in pain while Roxanne also burst into tears, no one to console them they wept for a long time before Mr Brown continue.
"You know what? Your mother came from a violent home which made her afflicted she suffered a lot from her stepfather before I met her, I promised not to hurt her but she died prematurely. I know your mother had hole in her heart since I married her but she had always tell me that it's nothing that she can cure it, I bought some pills for her but she disused it now she got killed by heart disease ". Sobbed Mr Brown while Roxanne took the picture away from him.
"Roxard, mummy you left me only in this world, why did you do this to me? I didn't deserve this ". Cried Roxanne in agony.
"I am here for you baby, don't cry ". He said wiping off her tears.

Roxanne did not went to school for a week and everyone in the school was sick worried about her especially Leonard. He called her number severally but not reachable. Leonard decided to visit her his friend insisted to follow him , they arrived at Roxanne's house Leonard was ahead so he knocked the door and a maid showed up.
"Welcome, how may I be of help". The maid respectfully asked and Leonard took a deep breath.
"We are Roxanne's classmate or I should say friends, anyway we're looking for Rox". Said Leonard.
"Any problem?" The maid asked.
"No or do we look like criminals". Vexed Himal.
"Calm down dude". Elia said as the maid ushered them in and went upstairs to inform Roxanne of her visitors.
Roxanne came out walking sorely her gaze met with Leonard as she approached where they sat.
"Hi, I was informed you guys wanna see". She asked sadly.
"Why is your face look thinner and sadden, ve you been crying". Asked Leonard as he touched her face.
"I'm fine Leo ". Lied Roxanne with a faint smile.
"I know whenever you are fine so don't lie to me, what happened this time around ". Asked Leonard uneasy while other just watched the scene.
"I lost her ". She said holding his shirt as she burst into tears.
"Who ?????" Leonard and his friends chorused.
"I lost my mommy . I lost her when everything had finally turned good it hurts ". She cried bitterly.
Leonard knew it would be hard for him to make her happy in presence of his friends. He knew she was grievous at that time and no matter what he will makes her happy.
"We're sorry for the lost ". Leonard's friends chorused. Leonard was standing still holding Roxanne but his mind had travelled a mile away thinking about how to make her happy.
"We'll be on our way now". Said Himal walking towards the door and other followed him.
"Thanks for coming, I really appreciate your kindness ". Said Roxanne as she stood by the door way. Instead of Leonard to follow them he waited behind. "Are you not going with them "? She asked and he nodded.
"Rox I'm sorry for the heart broken news of your mother, God will restore your heart"
"Amen"
"I'm lonely before but mommy had changed from being a frustrated mother but not until death took her away from me. I am lonely again please Leo help". Said Roxanne weeping and wailing profusely.
