"Ace!!" She yelled as she ran after him, he didn't bother to turn back but he did when he heard her yelp.

She was sitting on the floor while holding her ankle, he walked to her and bent in front of her.

"Are you okay?"

"No, I think I sprained my ankle, it hurts" She sniffled.

"Why were you running? You're too childish" He sighed and she hit his chest.

"I was running because you were ignoring me, I told you the baby wants a massage but you ignored me. What if the baby gets angry?" She asked.

"Then let it, it's already choking me before it's born, only God knows what will happen when it's born" Ace sighed.

"You don't want it? You don't like the baby?"

"I didn't say anything like that, little kitten" He said and lifted her up in his arms.

"Wow, your muscles got much bigger" She giggled, touching his arm as he carried her away.

Outside Alicia stood with her dad, there was an awkward silence between them. She had a lot to say but words refused to form in her mouth but she knew she had to start somewhere.

"Maddy...."

"It's Alicia, my name is Alicia" She corrected in a harsh tone and Peter nodded.

"But your mom actually named you Maddy not Alicia" Peter said and Alicia scoffed.

"Mom? As much as I know I don't have a mom, that woman might be the one who gave birth to me but she's certainly not my mom and you're not my dad" Alicia replied and Peter sighed.

"Dear, you have to listen to me. I didn't know anything about you coming here, I swear it was your mom" Peter replied.

"Then what? All those years you didn't come to look for me?" Alicia asked, almost breaking down.

"I... I'm sorry, it's actually a long story" He muttered.

"And I want to hear it! You can't just keep me in the dark and expect me to follow you home and accept you as my father!" She yelled.

"I had an affair with your mom while I was married, after she got pregnant with you she came to my house to tell me about it that's when my wife found out. I suggested I rent an apartment for your mom and I would take care of her health...."

"But my wife keep pressuring me and she was also pregnant at that time, I finally gave in and chased your mother away, I'm sorry" He said and Alicia just wiped her tears.

"Our daughter, Liv died a month ago and since then I've been searching for you" He ended.

"So you came for me because your daughter is dead?" She asked and he nodded, slowly.

"You've been living without me for so many years, just keep doing that huh?" She said and went inside.

"Maddy!! I'm sorry!!" He yelled, she didn't reply or turn to him.

~AFTERNOON–KITTY'S ROOM~

"Open up!" Kitty said, placing the spoon in front of Ace's mouth, he gently opened his mouth and she fed him.

"Gosh, I really don't want to eat this. You're going to kill me with food" He sighed, chewing slowly as if forced to.

"You haven't eaten all day, I know. What type of a wife will I be if I let my husband starve?" She pouted and he chuckled.

"We're not married" He said and she frowned, dropping the spoon then stood up.

He held her hand when she was about to walk away.

"Okay, I'm sorry don't get mad, we're married and you're my cute little wife" He said and she smiled, sitting on the dining again.

"Now feed me" He said, opening his mouth.

"I thought you said you don't want to eat?" She asked.

"Are you going to feed me or not, little demon?" He asked and she smiled, picking up the spoon as she kept on feeding him the noddles.

She wiped the side of his lips that was stained and he immediately leaned down and kissed her, when he broke the kiss she smiled, looking into his eyes.

She stared at his face, taking in his sharp features, his golden brown eyes, thin lips, full brows, sharp jawline, he's just everything she's ever wanted.

"Ace..." She called slowly, her heart slamming in her chest.

He raised a brow, urging her to go on.

"I love you" She said, pressing her lips against each other afterwards.

A light smile creeped on his lips and he pulled her closer to him and smashed his lips on her, more fiercely than the first. He slowly caressed her stomach and smiled into the kiss.

"I'm done, I'll clear the table" He said after breaking the kiss. He stood, picked up the plate and walked away.

Kitty clammed her lips together, tears gathering at the corner of her eyes. He didn't say it back? Why is she even crying?

She sighed and wiped the tears before they could roll down. Maybe she's just been longing to hear those three words, she just wants to know what he feels for her.

What if he doesn't love her maybe he's just with her because of the baby.

The door opened, Lexi, Snow and Alicia walked in, already dressed.

Kitty stood up and forced a smile as she walked to them.

"You guys are already ready? Gosh, I lost track of time" She muttered and Alicia chuckled.

"How would you remember when you're busy with someone all day, baby mama?" Alicia asked and Kitty rolled her eyes.

"You don't have to get jealous" She replied.

"How can I be jealous of my brother? Just go dress up quickly, Lexi is getting impatient to meet her mom"

"Lexi baby, how're you doing?" Kitty asked, and Lexi ran to her.

"I'm fine, pretty aunty but I really want to see my mommy" She pouted.

"Give me five minutes" Kitty said and went towards her closet, she opened it up and sighed after ransacking everything, no single comfortable cloth in here!

She went to Ace's room and took one of his shirt and cargo p@nts, she wore it and smiled, looking at the mirror. It was a little big but she doesn't care as long as she feel comfortable in it.

She was still staring at the mirror when a hand wrapped around her waist from behind, she smiled, staring at his reflection in the mirror.

"You're here?" He kissed her neck, slowly and she released a m0an.

"Yes, I just wanted to get a shirt, you're going with me to meet Lexi's mom right?" She turned to face him.

"I have better things to do but I can't let you go out alone" He said and she nodded.

"You said you also need new clothes, right?" He asked and she nodded again.

"We'll go to a store after seeing her" He said and carried her in his arms as they left the room.

~GLENWOOD~

Percy was sitting on a stool outside the house while Mark was brushing her hair from behind, she winched when she felt a sharp pull on her hair.

"Sorry, baby boo, it's my first time. I'll be more careful" He said and she stood up.

"It's fine, I'll just do it myself, if you keep up with this I might go to bed with a headache" She said and he chuckled.

"Sorry" He said and kissed her cheek, making her smile.

Just then Jonathan approached them, he eyed Mark then faced Percy.

"Hey, pretty" He smiled.

"Johnathan? What're you doing here?" She asked.

"I'm throwing a party at my house, tonight. I was wondering if you could make it?" He asked.

Percy looked at Mark he was quiet, still staring at Jonathan.

"Sure, I'll be there but only if my boyfriend can go with me" Percy said.

"Sure, he can come" Jonathan replied.

"Okay then, see you tonight" He added and walked away.

"I'm not going and you're not going too" Mark said.

"Why?" She asked.

"I don't like that guy, I don't like the way he looks at you"

"How does he look at me?"

"Like he loves you or something" Mark replied and she burst out in laughter.

"You're being jealous for nothing, try to relax. I only love you so stop overreacting" She said and cupped his cheeks.

"But you're still not going" He said and she pouted.

"Pleaseeee"

"No!" He said, firmly.

She smiled and whispered something into his ear.

"Really?" He raised a brow.

"Yes, I promise" She said and he smirked.

~UNKNOWN LOCATION~

"Ahhhh!!" Amber yelled, pulling her hair. She's drained, no idea what to do.

Ace is definitely looking for her and she needs to kill Kitty before he comes for her but how can she when there's Ace is always around her.

"What am I going to do?" She sighed, leaning on the wall.

"Just kill her and the baby" Molly said and Cheryl turned to her.

"The baby didn't do anything to you so why are you bringing it up?" Cheryl asked and Amber frowned.

"Shut the hell up!! I'm going to wipe everyone related to her parents including her child!!" Amber yelled at her.

"I have a plan. One of us can just disguise ourself and poison her, she and the baby will die" Molly said.

"It's risky but it's worth a try. I'll go tonight" Amber smiled.

~HOSPITAL~

"Mommy!" Lexi yelled as they walked into Grace's ward. Lexi ran into her arms and hugged her tightly.

"Are you alright baby?" Grace asked and Lexi nodded. Grace broke the hug and sat up properly.

She looked around the room, the only face she could recognize was Kitty's.

"Are you alright?" Kitty asked, moving closer to her.

"I should be asking you that, those men that came...."

"Just forget about that, I'm so happy you're awake and I'm sorry, it's my fault you're in this condition" Kitty mumbled.

"No, it's fine, I'm just glad everyone is safe. Who are they?" Grace asked.

"Oh, she's Snow, my friend. That's Alicia, my friend too and this is Ace, my...."

"Boyfriend" He cut her off and her cheeks toned red.

Alicia and Snow smiled widely.

"Okay, how's your baby?" She asked.

"Perfectly fine" She replied.

"Can Lexi stay with you guys for now? The doctor said I'm not getting discharged soon so can she stay with you for the meantime?" Grace asked.

"Of course" Kitty replied.

After they talked for a while, Ace drove them to a clothing store, where they picked out some clothes while Ace was helping Kitty with hers.

"What about this?" Ace asked, holding up a blue floral gown, she smiled and quickly took it from him.

"This is so cute" She gushed, twirling around with the dress and he smiled at her behaviour.

"You look cute when you smile" She said and his smile faded.

"About that girl, Amber, why did she kidnap you?" Ace asked and Kitty face turned pale.

"I don't know the full story but she told me that my parents killed her parents and locked her up in an attic. I don't think it's true, why would my parents do that?" Kitty mumbled.

"Forget about that. Are you done choosing, let's go pay?" He asked and she shook her head.

"I'm planning on making you bankrupt today...." She grabbed his hand and pulled him to another section.

"You are definitely going to be the end of me" He chuckled.

~EVENING~

"How can you say that even after what I told you?!" Alicia snapped, standing up from Bullet's laps.

"Calm down, you can't keep holding a grudge on him, just forgive him and let it go" Bullet said.

"I should let it go? It's so easy for you to say it. You seriously want me to forgive him? He never cared about me, he only came searching because his daughter died!!" Alicia yelled.

"Fuck! Alicia, Just let it go, I know it's going to be hard but for the sake of your happiness just forgive him" He replied.

"You're the only one that makes me truly happy so I don't need him" Alicia said.

"So you're just going to keep holding the grudge forever? Don't you want to meet your mom?" He asked.

"I do and I don't want to at the same time. Let's just stop talking about this" Alicia muttered.

"Fine, come here" He said, she sat down on his laps again.

"I think we should make a baby" He said and she immediately stood up.

"Make what? You're out of your mind!" She said with widened eyes and he chuckled.

Immediately Kitty and the rest returned home, she went to the balcony and stood, staring at the stars. Soon hands warped around her waist, as soon as she recognized his scent, she leaned backwards on him.

"What are you doing here?" He asked and kissed her neck.

"Nothing, just felt like coming" She replied, still staring at the stars and he nodded.

"You miss her right?" He asked and she nodded.

"I also miss my mom, I really wish she was here" He muttered and she turned to face him.

"Ace, I love you" She said and he stared at her for a while. When he leaned down to kiss her, she pushed him away.

"Don't.... I want to know if you love me" She said and he sighed.

"Let's go inside, you might catch a cold" He tried to touch her but she hit his hand away.

"Just answer my question Ace, it's a simple yes or no!" She yelled.

"Fuck no! I don't love you Kitty!!" He yelled back and she froze, her throat dried and tears rolled down her cheek.

"I don't love you, I'm addicted to you, I'm obsessed with you wether I like it or not. I've told you, you're my everything, you've fucked with my head so much and you have the audacity to ask me if I love you? Fuck! I More than love you, if there's any other word greater than love then that's what I feel for you" He added and she blinked, she marched forward to him and hugged him tight.

"Jerk! I hate you, you could have said it earlier!!!" She cried, and he stroked her back gently.

"I wasn't planning to say this now, but at a special time. You just ruined it" He chuckled and she broke the hug.

"When?" She asked.

"Forget it" He said and kissed her nose. He carried her in his arms into his room and placed her on the bed.

"I have something to tell you but please don't get mad at me" She said, standing up.

"I won't I promise" He replied.

She took a deep breath and slowly took off her pants. Ace's eyes widened.

She had severe burn and cuts on thighs, they look incredibly painful.

He looked at her face and she clammed her lips, looking down.

"Who did this to you?" He asked.

"N...no one" She replied and Ace gulped, running his hand through his hair.

"Kitty answer the question properly" He commanded, folding his fist.

"I did it my self, I'm sor...."

"Why the f+ck would you do that?!!" He yelled and she flinched.

"You said you wouldn't get mad" She looked at him and he breathe out.

"I'm not mad but I need answers" He said.

"It... It was when you pushed me away, I don't know, I kinda became depressed and I used a lighter and knife. I'm sorry. I showed you 'cause I know you'll still find out" She muttered and he angrily punched the wall, repeatedly.

"Ace what are you doing?! Stop!!" She grabbed his hand and he stopped.

"Why are you hurting yourself?" She sniffled, holding his bleeding hand.

"Gawd, I'm sorry, I didn't know I hurt you this much, I'm a bastard. Please forgive me" He said and she looked at him.

"I'm not mad at you, it's not your fault that you lost your memory, but I'll be mad if you keep hurting yourself" She sniffled and he wiped her tears and pulled her into an all consuming hug, holding her tightly.

She inhaled his scent and placed her head on his chest.

"I love you so much... I swear I won't ever hurt you or let anyone else hurt you, I would rather die"
