Kayla's Pov:
I jumped for joy as I hugged Natasha.
"Oh my gosh girl! You scared me" I shrieked in excitement.
Am so happy...
Finally Natasha regained consciousness after two weeks.
She smiled at me.
Well she was still lying on the bed with a drip fixed to her hand.
Her little sister Cherry sat very close to her licking her ice cream.
"You don't have to be scared.... Am a strong girl" Natasha said as we shared a laugh.
I can't believe my bestie survived.
I thought she was going to die.
Thank goodness.....
I've missed her so much.
"Yes! Am happy.... But we really need to find out who wanted my daughter dead" Mrs Bernard said worriedly
"That's the fearful part of it... The officers are investigating to find out who shot her" I said
"Who could have wanted me dead? I didn't do anything bad to anyone so who could possibly want my life shortened?" Natasha cried
"C'mon sister you shouldn't be crying... You should be grateful to God for making you survive" Cherry added.
"Uhmm... Jayden is working on it! He wants to find out who really wants you dead" I said
"You know Natasha.... Jayden is such a nice guy, he even donated his blood for your recovery" Mrs Bernard said as Natasha giggled.
I can't wait for my friend to be discharged.
The thought of bring alone in the house makes me go gaga.
We continued chatting.
Bianca's Pov:
Phew....
That girl is so stubborn....
I thought she was going to dead.
Arrgghh....
I can't believe this!
So she remains the stumbling block between my Prince Charming and I.
I kept on tapping my leg restlessly on the ground
I have to get that useless girl out of my way.
Just when I thought she's out of the way, she resurfaced.
Doris walked into the room.
"You know what Bianca, I advise you let the two of them be and stop nosing around" Doris said as I eyed her angrily.
"Am sorry to disappoint but I can't let Jayden go... He's my kind of man" I said
"But Natasha survived which is a clear revelation that they belong together" Doris said
I scoffed angrily.
"Hell no!" I screamed
"Oh no girl... It's a hell yeah" Doris cut in
"Well that will never happen not when I still breath" I said as I lay on the bed and backed Doris.
"Suit yourself then! Just don't get yourself into more trouble" Doris said as I rolled my eyes.
I have to quench that useless girl's breath as soon as possible.
Jayden's Pov:
I held her hand tight and kissed her hand.
Am the happiest man on earth right now.
I thought she was slipping away from my hand but here she is right beside me.
I kissed her lips and she smiled.
"I missed you" She said calmly
"I missed you more baby" I said as she slapped my cheek playfully.
Just then, the officers walked into the ward.
I quickly stood up.
Mr Bernard- Natasha's dad was with them.
"Any news?" I asked anxiously
"Have you found out who wanted me dead dad?" Natasha managed to ask.
"Not yet sweetie" Her father said
"No Mr Jayden.... Uhmm Miss Bernard do you have any enemies like someone who you ain't in good terms with?" The officer asked.
Natasha only scratched her hair in confusion.
"I don't really know of any" She said.
"You know such information will help us get to the root of this issue" The officer said.
Natasha only shook her head.
Bianca's Pov:
I quickly put on my hood and got down from the car.
I can't wait to see Natasha dead and gone for good.
I walked into the hospital.
I have to make sure that no-one recognizes or sees me.
I sneaked into the other ward.
Well I've already paid a nurse for some dirty job.
She handed the clothes to me.
I quickly put on the nurse attire and a surgical mask.
So that I won't be recognized.
With an eyeglass on my eyes, I sneaked into the ward.
Luckily for me, no-one was there and Natasha was lying fast asleep.
Time to strike my plans...
I brought out the syringe from my pocket about to inject the poisonous substance.....
