NONYE
As I struggled to free myself, Chuks' grip only tightened. He shoved me into the chair, and I felt a surge of fear as he began to tie my wrists to the armrests.
"What's going on?" I shouted, my voice hoarse with desperation. "Leave me alone and let me go!"
"You're not going anywhere, Nonye," he sneered, his eyes glinting with malice. "At least, not until we're done with you."
I tried to speak, but my voice was hoarse with fear. I was trapped, and I knew it.
Suddenly, I heard footsteps outside the room. The door opened, and Ekene walked in, a smirk on his face.
"Ah, Chuks, I see you've taken care of our guest," he said, his eyes scanning the room.
Chuks nodded, his grin growing wider.
Ekene's eyes locked onto mine, and I felt a chill run down my spine. He was in on it too.
But just as I thought things couldn't get any worse, Ada walked into the room, a sly smile spreading across her face.
"Hey, Nonye," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "I see you're enjoying the party."
I glared at her, my heart pounding with rage. Ada who i thought to be a friend, my course mate... was behind it all?
I looked around the room, and then I realized that I was surrounded by people I thought I could trust. Ekene, Chuks and even Ada....they were all in on this together. I felt a rage of anger within me realizing I've been betrayed, I felt like crying at the moment but I couldn't show ho weak I was instead I braced up and spoke.....
"You," I spat, my voice veñ0mous pointing at Ada and Ekene. "You set me up."
Ada shrugged, her smile never wavering.
" You see, Nonye, I just wanted to prove a point, I've noticed you to be a reserved lady ever since I know you, and not quite long i overheard some students arguing about your modesty... So, I thought of doing this to know how true the image you portray seems to be and I also wanted to see how you'd react when you were pushed out of your comfort zone....I could see your fear and desperation of wanting to be free from your stalkers, meanwhile I planned this with them"....she said pointing at chuks and Ekene and then she continued....."oh! Steve is not here, I'm sure you must have thought him to be chuks rival over you....No, you are wrong....she said and smiled.....I thought of what she meant and then it appeared to me she's referring to the other guy whose name I knew not until the moment..... "however, she continued..."I discovered that you're fortunate to come from a Christian home, but you're still an infant in your faith," Ada sneered. "I couldn't stand the constant praise you receive for your intelligence all the time like you are the only smart on around....And honestly, I'm a little sorry I tricked you into trusting me, but it just goes to show how naive you really are."
She turned to the others. "You guys can take over now."
With that, Ada exited the room, leaving me feeling infuriated and humiliated. A wave of anger washed over me, and I seethed with resentment towards her.
The room became silent, the only sound that could be heard is that of the heavy breathing of my captors. I was trapped, and I knew I had to think fast if I wanted to escape.
Ekene walked over to me, a sly smile spreading across his face. I swallowed hard, my heart racing with fear. What did they want from me?
But before I could ask any questions, Ekene spoke up facing chuks "Let's get started, shall we? .
And that's when it hit me - I was in gr*ve danger, and I had to get out of there before it was too late.
I saw Chuks walked to the corner of the room and returned with a glass cup filled with a drink. He approached me, putting the cup to my mouth to drink but I refused.
"You'd better cooperate with us...take that drink now," Ekene scolded. I remained adamant, refusing to yield, but was left with no choice after a sl*p landed on my face.
"What do you take me for? A joke?" Ekene scolded. "Take that drink now, or you'll get more." I hadn't expected to see this v!0lent side of him. I started crying, feeling helpless, and regrets began to set in as I blamed myself for the situation.
I took a sip of the drink, hoping that would satisfy them, but they made me drink the entire contents, leaving the glass empty. "Wow, that's very good of you," Chuks said, dropping the glass cup onto a stool in the corner of the room.
I began feeling faint, with no strength left in me. I prayed for help, but none came. "Please let me go," I begged, using my last bit of strength. "I beg you in the name of God, please don't hurt me."
Chuks laughed sarcastically. "Why are you in a hurry to leave when the party isn't over yet? Aren't you enjoying the party?" His voice dripped with sarcasm.
He came to my backside and loosened the ties from my hands. I felt a surge of relief as my wrists were freed but my body felt heavy, as if the drink had taken effect.
I slumped forward, helpless and weak, Ekene's voice sounded distant, mocking.
"You should have thought of that before you decided to be a goody-goody," he said, his words laced with sarcasm.
I felt a wave of nausea wash over me, and my vision began to blur. The last thing I remembered was their laughter, echoing in my mind.
Everything went black.
I woke up to see myself covered on a bed in another room. My head was throbbing, and my mouth felt dry. I tried to remember how I got there, but my memories were hazy.
As I struggled to sit up, a wave of dizziness washed over me. I fell back onto the bed, groaning.
As I slowly regained consciousness, my mind was foggy and my thoughts disjointed. But one terrifying realization crept into my awareness: something was horribly wrong.
I tried to remember what had happened, but my memories were fragmented and unclear. I recalled being tied up, being forced to drink something, and Ekene's menacing voice. but the ache i felt in-between my legs that made my heart sink. I felt a searing pain and a sense of violation. Oh God, what did they do to me?
I couldn't shake off the feeling that I had been r*pëd. The thought sent a wave of panic and despair washing over me. I felt dirty, v¡0lated, and helpless.
Tears streamed down my face as I struggled to come to terms with what I thought had happened. Why did this have to happen to me?
As I lay there, trying to process the h0rror of what I thought had happened, my gaze fell upon the bed. I expected to see bl00dstains, evidence of the vi0lation I felt. But there was nothing. The sheets were pristine, untouched.
I felt a wave of confusion wash over me. Had I imagined the whole thing? Was it just a dream? But the pain and discomfort between my legs told me otherwise.
I threw off the covers and examined my body. There were no visible signs of trauma, no bruises or marks. It was as if nothing had happened.
But I knew what I felt. I knew the pain and the fear that still lingered inside me. So what was the truth? Had I been r*ped, or was it all just a twisted game of manipulation?
