SAINT'S PLACE* 

Elena ended up spending the whole day with Saint,after cooking and eating,they had a lot of fun,gaming,watching movies and chatting. 

Finally it was time for Elena to leave,Saint would have loved her to stay quite longer tho. 

"Are you ready?" He asked her as she carried her bag. 

"Can I ask for a favor?" Elena moved close to him. 

"Of course,what is it?" He smiled. 

"Can you give me a ride to Kian's place?" Elena asked and Saint raised his brows. 

"Actually,I wish I can ignore,but I can't do it anymore" She shook her head. 

"I miss him so much that it's useless pretending to be fine,I don't know how he's going to react since he never told me where he stays,but please..I just want to see him,hmm?" Elena muttered in tears. 

"You don't have to cry because of that..."

Elena wiped her tears. 

"I just miss him so much" She sniffed and looked at her fingers. 

"I will take you there...." Saint was just saying when his phone rang and he excused himself a little to answer. 

"Sorry I can't drive you there anymore,something came up" He muttered. 

Elena nodded. 

"But a taxi would do,I will give him the address,let's go" He held her hand and took her out. 

"Thank you Saint,I owe you one" Elena smiled. 

"Don't cry in front of me again,,it was like I made you cry" Saint sighed and Elena chuckled. 

"I'm sorry" She said.

After getting her a taxi,he also drove off to his destination,when he got to Knox's house,he met Daven there. 

"What is this? I never expected to meet him here" Saint scoffed at Daven. 

"How was the romance with Elena?" Daven grinned. 

"Romance? I'm confused" Knox looked at Saint. 

"I met them almost kissing in the morning" 

"Almost! And we later didn't, just because of you so f+ck off" Saint snapped. 

Knox laughed. 

"I can feel your pain,but you never said anything about liking her" He said. 

"That just happened randomly" Saint mumbled and sat down. 

"Why are we here?" He asked. 

"We have a swap tonight" Knox announced. 

"So why are you the one giving information and not Kian?" Daven asked. 

"We all know Kian has a lot on his plate these days,we are doing it alone" Knox replied. 

"Aren't we going to do anything to help?" Saint asked. 

"I have no idea,,Kian wouldn't say anything to anyone and you know that" Knox replied. 

"We shouldn't wait until he does that,you know Kian would never" Daven replied. 

"Should we ask him then?" Knox asked. 

"Are you sure you can do that?" Saint asked him. 

"Don't worry about me" Knox muttered. 

*

MORNING STARS MOB*

The whole family are all gathered together inside Jadaline's room,all waiting for Scylla to drop whatever's the reason why she called them. 

"Are you going to talk or not?" Jadaline asked. 

Scylla took her phone and played the recording of Kenzo's voice for them. 

"Is it true? You sent him to murder Canessa?" Scylla faced Jadaline directly expecting a negative response at least. 

"What do you mean? Who?" Bianca also asked and Lilliana scoffed. 

"Mother please answer me first..."

"So?" Jadaline stood up. 

Scylla's eyes widened and tears fell from her eyes. 

"Mother" She mumbled. 

"How many people know this yet?" Jadaline asked. 

"Is that important right now?" Scylla asked. 

"So what are you going to do?! Expose your own mother?!" Jadaline yelled. 

"Mother you have no reason to kill that woman!!! Or am I missing something?! What could be the reason?!" Scylla screamed. 

"Keep quiet,what I do is never your business" Jadaline said. 

"Mother,the truth,you can't..."

"What truth?" Liliana asked and Scylla looked at her. 

Liliana stood up. 

"You want mother to confess? Because he's your boyfriend?" She asked and walked over to her,she took the phone from Scylla and deleted the voice from her phone. 

"You can't do that Scylla,,the Kian we are talking about here is an enemy..."

"Enemy because of what mother did!!" Scylla shouted. 

"Then you shouldn't have associate with him in the first place!! I warned you didn't I!!" Jadaline snapped. 

Scylla looked at her. 

"Now that you've confirmed,find a way to break up with him. Or probably you think he would spare you even though you are innocent? No he wouldn't,he's a devil just like his father,so come back to your sense" Jadaline said and walked out of the room. 

"You still have enough time to end it,this doesn't make sense" Liliana rolled her eyes and went out. 

Scylla faced Bianca. 

"You have nothing to say about this?" She asked. 

"I'm with mother no matter what,you should do the same" Bianca muttered.

Billie: Hey Scylla where are you? 

Mandi: We've been waiting at the club for almost ten minutes,where are you?

Scylla sighed as the texts kept on popping up on her screen,then Kian's call followed. 

She ignored the call and drove into the clubhouse,after parking,she went inside. 

She switched off her phone as she found her was among the people having crazy fun. 

Finally she saw Mandi and Billie sitting,they also waved at her. 

"What took you so long?" Billie asked. 

"I drove from the mob" Scylla muttered,pouring herself a full glass of beer. 

"Easy girl,what the f+ck?" Billie raised her brows. 

Scylla finished everything at a time. 

"Wow" Mandi mumbled. 

"I'm about to make the biggest mistake of my life,girls" Scylla said. 

"What's that?" Billie asked. 

Scylla shook her head. 

"I hate myself" She chuckled. 

"What the f+ck happened?" Billie and Mandi remained confused as Scylla continue drinking without saying anything.

8PM, KIAN'S VILLA* 

Kian opened the door,before he could even look at the person standing,Elena jumped on his body and was fortunate enough that Kian caught her properly. 

"Kian" She broke into tears as she hugged him tightly to herself. 

"You're so mean,you're really mean" She cried,her tears dropping on Kian's shoulder. 

"You left me all by myself,,you left me alone" 

"Lena" Kian muttered and hugged her back but her cries only grew louder. 

"I miss you so much,I miss you,I can't take it anymore,I can't"

"I'm sorry Lena,I'm sorry" Kian held her tight and closed his eyes,just the hug he's been craving for all day. 

"I missed you too,alot" He said and before he knew it,a drop of tear came out of his eyes as well. 

Elena broke the hug and cupped his cheeks but he was still carrying her. 

"Hey,don't cry,I was just too happy to see you" She wiped his tears and Kian smiled. 

"You still care too much..."

Elena sniffed in and hugged him again. 

"It feels like a dream" She mumbled. 

"I'm sorry for being such a jerk,but trust me I didn't forget you,I will never forget you Lena,I just...."

"Too busy for me,I understand,but just a little bit of your time,I won't disturb your relationship with Scylla,I just...."

"Schhh,don't talk about that" Kian said and dropped her. 

He cleaned her tears with his thumb and ruffled her hair. 

Elena moved into him again and placed her head on his chest. 

"I miss your scent" she pouted. 

Kian chuckled and let her do her thing,she just kept hugging him as If she would enter into his body. 

But Kian didn't complain,he also miss her just the same way she does.

Moments later, Kian entered into the kitchen and found Elena looking around and almost grabbed a pot. 

"Nope,nope,,you aren't cooking anything here" Kian took the pot from her. 

"I just want to prepare you something,I'm worried,do you eat?" She faced him and went on her toes to touch his cheeks. 

"Is there a problem? Your eyes are sad" She muttered. 

"Why do you know everything about me?" Kian asked. 

"Silly,I know how you feel just by looking into your eyes,have you forgotten? So soon? You and I..."

Kian grabbed her waist and pulled her into a hug,he had to bend so much so she doesn't have to go on her toes just to hug him. 

Elena smiled and pat his back. 

"I'm never going to forget that either,how could I? You were the only one who cared about me and took care of me like a mother,you even stole for me" Kian muttered. 

"Do you have to say that?!" Elena slapped his back and he smiled then broke the hug. 

He pat her hair. 

"Do you have a boyfriend now? You should introduce me so I can warn him to...."

"I don't have a boyfriend" Elena rolled her eyes. 

"You don't have to be angry" Kian teased and she glared at him. 

"Fine sorry" he winked. 

"Aren't you hungry?" Elena looked at him. 

"I am,but you still won't cook,let's place an order" He grabbed her hand and took her out of the kitchen. 

They both settled side by side on the couch in the living room.  

"Do you have anything to tell me? I'm worried about you,,I'm really sad because I feel useless sometimes,I can't even help you or do anything for you" Elena mumbled sadly. 

"You don't have to do anything" Kian said and dropped his phone after ordering. 

Elena moved closer to him and placed her head on his chest. 

"Please be fine...no matter what,you know I won't be able to survive it if you ever get hurt" She said. 

Kian smiled while stroking her hair. 

"I missed you" He muttered. 

Elena raised her head and their eyes met. 

"So you were waiting for me?" She asked. 

"No,I wanted to finish off everything and apologize properly..."

"There's nothing to apologize for" Elena shook her head. 

Kian pat her back. 

"I always hug Kian whenever I miss you" Elena pouted. 

"Kian?" 

"The teddy you bought me" Elena said with flushed cheeks. 

Kian chuckled. 

"But the teddy couldn't do it anymore,I had to beg Saint" She sighed. 

"I'm sorry for making it so hard,it's fine now" 

"Can I come here anytime I want?" Elena asked. 

"Hmm" Kian nodded. 

*

Oscar was just about going out of the house when the door opened and Kenzo came inside. 

"Where are you coming from? This late?" Oscar asked. 

"I'm not a kid bro" Kenzo scoffed and went upstairs. 

Oscar stared at him suspiciously before going out. 

Kenzo got to his room and sat in front of his laptop,as expected a message was there waiting for him.

It's from an anonymous account. 

Anonymous: You really think she won't inform her boyfriend about the whole thing?

Kenzo: Definitely not,she wouldn't sell her mother out. 

Anonymous: But what about Canessa's body? It's been four years,where is the body?

Kenzo: I don't know. 

Anonymous: What do you mean by you don't know? 

Kenzo: She actually,Escaped. 

Kenzo sighed out he finished typing that message and sent it. 

He thought about it,,it was that four years ago,he went to the underground sell where Canessa was kept,on that fateful day,he got there and couldn't find Canessa.

Could she had escaped by herself? With all those scars,wounds and injuries? Or someone took her?

Jadaline actually wanted her dead so when she asked Kenzo,he told her she died and he had her body thrown off somewhere far. 

But till now he never stopped thinking about it,could she still be alive? And who took her? Or maybe she really escaped on her own? 

*

NEXT MORNING, KIAN'S VILLA* 

Elena woke up to the sweet aroma going right through her nose that morning,she let out a sleepy groan and turned on the bed,not like she was expecting to find Kian beside her tho,they didn't even sleep in the same room.

But why does she keep on hoping for the most impossible? How many times would she remind herself that he's got a girlfriend and there's no chance for her at all?

Out of her thoughts,she opened her eyes and sniffed the air again. 

Then she sat up and there it was,the chicken bacon sandwich staring back at her. 

"Hello friend" Elena gasped and quickly pulled the stool closer to the bed. 

She found a note attached to the milk glass and she picked it. 

Sorry I had to leave the house early since you weren't waking up,eat up and have your bath,Saint will come pick you up later. Love you. 

                   Kian....

Elena smiled brightly and dropped the note,she started eating it,wondering if he really made it by himself. 

She didn't even realized she was tearing up until they dropped on her cheeks. 

"Why are you crying? You missed him and here you are" she said to herself and sniffed. 

Her heart wouldn't stop jumping in her chest. 

After eating to her satisfaction,she had her bath and entered Kian's closet. 

He definitely wouldn't have any problem with her wearing his clothes right? She found one pretty hoodie she likes and immediately put it on. 

"Gosh,He's so big,I look like a clown" She pouted and then laughed at herself. 

She even wore Kian's pants which was also big but thanks to the adjusting rope,still the length was awful. 

"Ion care,I'm wearing them this way" She cracked and left the closet. 

She packed her plates and went downstairs to clean it up. 

She just finished doing that when Saint came in. 

"Hey!! You're too fast!" Elena shouted and stomped her feet on the floor. 

"Stop acting cute and let's go" Saint pushed her head. 

Elena scoffed. 

"I will go get my bag" She mumbled grumpily. 

"What the f+ck are you wearing..."

"I should get a gun" Elena mumbled and Saint laughed. 

He immediately brought out his phone and took her pictures. 

"I hate you" Elena laughed and ran upstairs. 

"So f+cking cute" Saint muttered as he checked the pictures. 

*

Kairo watched as Kian's fingers hit the keyboard loudly,with his straight face focused without sparing Kairo a glance,they are inside Kairo's basement. 

"We should find a way to get Jadaline,,she probably think we don't know anything right now" Kian muttered. 

"Are you okay?" Kairo threw the question and Kian looked at him.

"What are you talking about?" He asked. 

"What do you mean by that question? Your so called girlfriend betrayed you..."

"No she didn't" Kian cut in. 

"She made a decision she think is the best,I won't blame her for anything. That won't stop me from doing what I planned to do" He added. 

"But you never expected it..."

"Never?" Kian scoffed. 

"No,I expected it,I was only in denial,because....because it's her" Kian muttered. 

Kairo rolled his eyes and spread his arms. 

"You can hug me for free" He said and looked away. 

"I don't want it" Kian said and Kairo frowned. 

"Hey,do you know how expensive my hugs are? I'm giving you for free!" He snapped. 

Kian looked at him and chuckled. 

Kairo moved closer and hugged him. 

They were interrupted by Kairo's ringing phone and got separated. 

Kairo answered the call as soon as he saw Clayton on the screen. 

Kairo: What's up? 

Clayton: I just got invited to the Mafia Capo's penthouse,by someone named Sitara. 

Kairo and Kian exchanged surprised glances. 

Kairo: Why? 

Clayton: I have no idea as well,I'm going to tell you everything once I'm out. 

Kairo: Okay. 

He hung up and looked at Kian. 

"What is the goddess up to?" 

"I have no idea" Kian mumbled. 

*

4PM, CAPO'S PENTHOUSE* 

Clayton studied the whole room as he sat down on the couch waiting for Sitara according to what he was told. 

She even went to the point of sending a driver to go pick him up in his house and he still wonder how she found out about him,he was totally confused. 

After sitting for like thirty minutes,finally Sitara entered and Clayton stood up. 

"You're here" She said and sat down. 

Clayton remained standing. 

"I know you must be wondering why I called for you" Sitara said. 

"Yes ma'am,I just..."

"I was doing some findings on Mad dog and something felt off,,he was always with someone,so I looked into that person and figured out who it was,then my men helped in searching for you and found you,easy" Sitara gave a quick explanation and Clayton was mesmerized. 

"Have your seat" Sitara said. 

Clayton sat down. 

"I see you're a cop now" She muttered and Clayton nodded. 

"What I need from you isn't hard,it's about mad dog,I just want to know everything you know or suspected,you were close to him so you should at least know something" Sitara said. 

Clayton nodded. 

*

The guards standing behind Capo exchanged surprised glances among themselves as they saw Capo dozing off under his veil. 

They've never seen him doze off and it was totally new to them. 

Holy entered and they all looked away. 

"Hey...." Holy touched Capo and the guards gave him a weirdly shocked look. 

"I mean...boss" Holy quickly corrected himself. 

Capo opened his eyes and stood up.

The guards were quiet until they left. 

"Am I the only one who notice something weird?" One asked. 

"I always feel like the Capo changes personalities,sometimes he's cold and scary,and sometimes...I can't explain" Another one sighed. 

"I think Holy is keeping something from all of us" 

"Agreed" 

*

LOG CABIN* 

Scylla parked her car on the spot that used to be a usual one,she breathe out nervously. 

She actually got a text from Kian telling her to meet up at the Cabin,even though she wasn't ready to meet him yet,but it's been a while since they meet in this place. 

It's giving her the old memories as she stepped down from her car and then closed the door. 

She swallowed and started approaching the door,so many questions running through her mind,why are they meeting here? 

What is he going to talk about? She wasn't ready for anything,she was nervous,just too nervous. 

Finally,her palm curled around the doorknob and she pushed it,revealing the inside she suddenly realized she missed so much. 

She entered and closed back the door. 

"You're here" Kian appeared from the inside and entered the living room.

"Hey" Scylla said softly with a smile and walked closer to him. 

"I thought you wouldn't show up,you've been ignoring my calls and texts" Kian said. 

"I'm sorry, I've been busy and...I just..I'm sorry" Scylla mumbled. 

"I know" Kian nodded. 

Scylla smiled and hugged him. 

But her smile disappeared from her lips right away and her body shook. 

But he held her waist without letting her go. 

"Ah" Scylla gasped and poked out blood from her mouth. 

"How dare you still smile in front of him?" The voice came and Scylla's eyes widened. 

"Kairo?" She called. 

Kairo smiled and pushed in the knife deeper into her tummy. 

"Aren't we the perfect combo? We are both good at pretending" he said coldly and removed the knife at once,roughly. 

Scylla fell roughly on the floor and held her tummy,she was bleeding excessively and she couldn't even utter a statement. 

"Should I finish you off here,or take you to your mother and finish you in front of her? Which one should I do?" Kairo sighed. 

Suddenly the door opened loudly and Kian rushed in with terror in his eyes,he woke up from his nap and saw the text on his phone,immediately he knew it was Kairo. 

"Scylla!!!" Kian screamed and rushed to her,she was already gasping for breath. 

Kairo glared. 

Kian looked at him. 

"What the f+ck do you think you're doing?!! I told you to let her be!!!" He yelled. 

"I told you once didn't I? You have no right to stop me once I start my shit,don't even try it" Kairo said and stormed out of the cabin. 

Kian looked down at Scylla and she got hold of him. 

"Don't say anything,I won't let you die...just for old time sake" Kian mumbled and carried her in his arms just before she lost her consciousness completely.
