Knox was staring as Elena's every movement as she paced,her fingers in her mouth,she was looking so nervous and scared that Knox was confused as hell,she had suddenly called him with Kian's phone and he had to rush down to her place after getting the address.
It's about thirty minutes after the darkwood party.
"Can I know what is going on already? Where the f*+*k is Kian? Why is no one explaining what the heck is going on? Where is he?" Knox asked.
"Kian is definitely in trouble right now" Elena faced him.
"Trouble? Because he was talking to Liliana,I guess....."
"That man doesn't care about Kian! He only did that to get the number one seat in front of Capo and he got what he want!" Elena snapped.
"Then....what's wrong with that? Why would Kian be in trouble?"
"You still don't get it? What do you think is the reason why nobody knows Kian is a viper? Why do you think he wants to remain invisible and just stay away from trouble?! Why did you invite him to the party in the first place! It's all your fault!" Elena cried.
"If you had not insisted about him going there,all these wouldn't have happened,now that man might just kill Kian!" She cried again.
Knox exhaled and ran his fingers through his hair,currently,he's the most confused fellow on earth.
"I swear,I don't f*+*king understand a thing,can you explain more deeply?"
"Godfather....hates him" Elena muttered and Knox raised his brows.
"Hate?"
"That's right...nobody knows about Kian because he never acknowledged him as his son. The reason why he announced it this night was because he wanted to win against Jadaline,and he got the position the moment he claimed that Liliana was forcing a conversation with him,which means,the introduction wasn't genuine,He used him" Elena said and Knox's head sparked.
"Where's Kian?" He asked.
"Probably....receiving the beating of his life" Elena mumbled in tears.
Knox swallowed hard.

Kian was standing inside Vincenzo,inside his lounge. Oscar and Kenzo also standing there,with Kian in front of them all,his face down,his hands rubbing against the other.
"What were you doing at the party?" Vincenzo asked,he was backing them,a tobacco in his hand,his voice alone scared Kian.
"I....I was....I...."
"Speak up you bastard!!" Vincenzo turned at once and threw his stick at Kian which he was fortunate enough to dodge.
"I was invited father,I didn't go there because I want anybody to know about me,I just went because of a friend,please believe me...."
"Believe you? You got what you want bastard! Now everyone is aware that you are my son,a loser like you,as the almighty Vincenzo's son!!! A lowlife like you as my son!!! A weak @sshole like you!!!" Vincenzo yelled.
Kian held his shaking hand with another as tears dropped from his eyes.
"I'm sorry....father" he mumbled.
"Stop saying that word!!!!!" Vincenzo came close and slapped him hard on the face.
"You're just like your mother,that useless woman,you took after her so much and I hate it,you disgust me"
"Then what do you want me to do?!" Kian shouted,tearfully.
Oscar and Kenzo blinked the moment Kian raised his voice at their father.
"You said I shouldn't show myself to the world,you told me not to call myself Kian,you named me Zero,what did I do? Nothing,,you said not to allow anyone find out who my father is or where I came from! Then I live under the moon all my life! You stole my life from me,I was barely alive,I've been suffocated my whole life!! But I've never for once questioned you. I want to live like every other kids too!! I want a life of my own too!! I was hoping and I just kept on hoping that there might be a change,that one day,you might just show a little bit,just a tiny piece of affection,towards me....but father,,that never happened for once. And still!!!! I've never cursed you or look you in the face!! I've never disrespected you!! You created so much fears inside me that I can't even communicate with people or stand people looking at me,I get chills when I'm with crowds,I get scared just by people looking at me!! Still,I've never questioned you! What happened tonight wasn't my fault father,stop trying so hard to make me take the blames,those girls....they don't even know my name,,I don't know their names either,it would have remained the same but because of your greed,you announced it. The reason why you did that was to win against them and to please the Capo or whatever name he's called!!! It's not my fault at all! Stop punishing me for everything when it's not my fault,I'm begging you!!" Kian screamed and fell on his knees.
"Just let me be father,please. I don't want to be your son,I promise,I don't want to live like this,I know I'm useless to you,I actually wanted to be useful for you,but as time passes,I realized I was never born for this,I can't even handle a gun,but I can live a low life on my own,just say the word,and I will disappear from your life forever,please!!!" He cried out.
"You think you can escape?" Vincenzo scoffed.
"I want to throw you out too,,but not yet. How am I supposed to see that useless mother of yours in you and hate you forever? Not just that, you irritate me,I lothe you so much that I want to throw up each time I see you...why do you have her face?! Why do you look so much like her that boils crawls all over my body Each time I see you?!!!" He yelled.
"I'm not my mother.....I'm not her,I'm Kian,,not Canessa!!? I am me not my mother!!" Kian yelled back and got up.
He moved closer to him and wiped his tears.
"And that's what I'm going to do from now on,I will show you and prove you wrong. You can't control me anymore father,I will do what I want!! On my own!! I won't listen to you anymore!! Just watch me!?!" He shouted.
"For the record,you are my son! And you are to stay away from that family! You know that at least!" Vincenzo shouted.
"I wasn't planning to have anything to do with them,you think I will spoil things for you just because you hate me?"
"You better not,I will kill you" Vincenzo mumbled.
"Don't worry about that" Kian wiped his remaining tears and stormed out of the lounge.
Kenzo followed him and grabbed his hand as soon as he was out,he pulled him back roughly and stood in front of him.
"What do you think you are doing?" Kenzo asked.
"I'm sorry but.....who are you?" Kian asked.
"What?" Kenzo raised his brows.
"You.......give me the chills" Kian mumbled.
"Whenever I see you....or...Oscar...I get chills all through my body!!" Kian shouted.
"Haa....now you want to act like a brother? Don't be mistaken,I've zeroed my f*+*king mind since three years ago,that was when I clocked seventeen,,I have no mother,no father,and definitely no siblings as well. I'm all alone in my world,I don't know why I was still stupid trying to hope,but not anymore. So Kenzo,don't ever in your life again...touch me" Kian mumbled with a glare and walked out on him.
Kenzo watched him get on his bike and rode off roughly,in full speed.
"Why did you come after him?" Oscar asked behind him and he turned.
"It wasn't his fault,he probably doesn't even know about those girls,he was right,father was only trying to blame him when......"
"Shut up, go tell father right in his face,not here" Oscar snapped and walked away.
Kenzo sighed and closed his eyes,then opened them back.

MORNING STARS MOB*
The slap from Jadaline which landed on Liliana's face was loud.
"How dare you disgrace me in front of everyone!!! How dare you!!" She yelled and faced Scylla as well.
"You too! You are talking to him as well!?" She screamed and raised her hand to slap Scylla as well.
Scylla frowned and held Jadaline's hand.
Bianca's eyes widened.
"Don't try it" Scylla mumbled and threw her hand off.
"Scylla! Are you insane?!" Bianca yelled.
"No I'm not!" Scylla yelled back.
"You can't do that,apologize to mother" Liliana said.
"Why should I?! I'm not like you,I did nothing wrong! Vincenzo has two sons! That's what everyone believes in,not just us!! Everyone knows he only has two f*+*king sons so why should I receive a slap over something I don't even know? Tell me why I should do that mother,,you're only angry because Vincenzo got the number one seat and not you! Even you never knew he has a third son,so stop trying to make it look like we have some kind of supernatural power to detect every damn thing,I can't stand you sometimes!! Ahhhh!!!!!" Scylla screamed.
Bianca and Liliana had to cover their ears.
She glared and stormed out of the room.
Jadaline chuckled dryly.
"That psycho...path" She mumbled.
"I will go talk to her" Liliana said and ran after Scylla.
Scylla was about entering her car when Liliana stopped her.
"Hey"
"What" Scylla faced her.
"You can't leave like this,you should apologize,please......"
"F*+*k off,do I look like Bianca to you? This is Scylla,don't be mistaken,apologize for what? Do I f*+*king know about any Kian?! Do I?! If she's a Godmother who's capable,then she should have found out beforehand,not blaming it on us" Scylla snapped.
"Still,she's our mother and....."
"I will consider that when she starts acting like a mother and not a mafia boss to us" Scylla muttered and tried going in again but Liliana stopped her.
"Just this one...."
"Let her go" Bianca came out.
"She's a useless brat who always pass aggressions on everyone,let her go" Bianca added.
Scylla scoffed and ran her fingers through her hair.
"At least I don't follow whatever mother says without thinking twice,like someone,now who's useless between us?" Scylla asked.
"Scylla!" Liliana yelled.
"What!! I can't pretend to be the good sister! That's your own work,not mine. I love it when people hate me,I don't beg for love,so everyone should go f*+*k some anacondas for all I care" Scylla said and entered her car,she drove off instantly.
Liliana sighed and ruffled her hair.
Bianca scoffed.
"We are not spending the night here,get the car,we are going home" She mumbled before walking away.

11:30PM, A LOG CABIN*
The log cabin is in the middle of a forest some distance away from the city,Scylla parked her car aggressively and exhaled. She comes here whenever she's too angry and needs some quiet time for herself alone.
She doesn't know who the cabin belongs to but she finds peace here whenever she's there.
After breathing in and out for one minute,she came down from the car but then frowned when she saw a bike parked right in front of the cabin,and there's a little light coming from inside as well.
The bike...looks familiar in a way but she preceded and went inside,slowly. Her hand moved to her back pocket and she already got hold of her pocketknife as she opened the door slowly.
She entered that cabin,the lights are really on which made her more confused,she turned around to check again,then turned forward again only to bump into a body,she quickly brought out her knife and pointed out.
The edge stopped right on Kian's throat,but he didn't flinch.
A deep frown appeared on Scylla's face the moment she saw his face.
"What are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same" Kian mumbled.
"This place doesn't belong to you right?" She raised her brows.
"I know the person who owns it,and you?"
"I just...come here whenever I'm down" Scylla replied but suddenly frowned.
"How dare you still talk to me?" She asked.
Kian said nothing and went to sit down,Scylla glared at him.
"You can leave,I got here first" Kian said.
"You should apologize first! You knew who we were......"
"I don't have the energy to argue with you or to explain anything to you" Kian cut in.
"What?"
"You heard me" Kian said.
"Of course...it was obvious since the beginning,Viper boys can never be different from each other" Scylla nodded.
Kian turned and faced her.
"What are you still waiting for? You should leave" He said.
"Like I said,I came to clear my mind" Scylla snapped and sat down on another couch.
There was total silence after that,nobody talked,nobody moved,they are just there,staring into space,until the rain started dropping,slow at first but then became heavy.
Kian stared at Scylla from the side of his eye,she was rubbing her arms,her gown is sleeveless,she was already feeling cold.
He sighed and walked to the furnace,he had tried putting on the fire earlier but it's not working,so he's trying again.
Scylla's eyes followed him as he bent in front of the fire place,he kept trying,but nothing worked,and the rain was just getting heavier.
When he couldn't do it,he got up and removed his hoodie,he threw it on her face.
"Put it on" He mumbled.
"I can take care of myself! I don't need your f*+*king help" She snapped and threw it back on his face aggressively,the zip even hit his eyes.
Kian sighed and dropped the hoodie on the couch,then walked away.
Scylla rolled her eyes and bit her lips,she was feeling so cold,her lips are trembling already. She stared at the hoodie again but rolled her eyes.
"I'll rather die of cold" She mumbled.
Kian came back,his two hands inside his pockets as he stared directly at her.
The sleeveless top he was putting on was showing off his muscles and biceps s+xily.
He removed his hands from the pockets and grabbed the hoodie on the couch.
"Put it on" He dropped it on Scylla's body again.
"I said I don't want it!" She yelled and threw it at him but he caught it this time around.
"I said put it on!! F*+*king put it on!!" He yelled at her angrily.
And for the first time in Scylla's life,she flinched,she flinched right in front of him.
"Right now" Kian added in a calmer but husky voice.
"Don't shout at me" She mumbled.
"You shouted first" Kian said.
Scylla rolled her eyes and wore the hoodie then looked at him.
"Aren't you cold?" She asked.
"Have you ever stayed inside the rain for twelve hours before? Tied on a tree,under a heavy rain and nobody comes for you?" He asked and Scylla blinked.
"So tell me why I would still be down with cold after experiencing that"
"What was your offense?" Scylla asked.
"Existing" Kian answered and she was quiet.
"We should try not to meet each other here anymore,our families...will kill us" He added.
"I never planned to meet you here" Scylla immediately said.
"I know,I'm just saying,coz of next time" Kian looked at her and she scoffed.
"Alien" She rolled her eyes.
"Me? Alien?" Kian raised his brows.
"Don't question me" She snapped.
"Sure I won't,butterfly" Kian said and she glared.

NEXT DAY, PINNACLES UNIVERSITY*
Elena was already waiting in Kian's parking space and the moment he appeared,she walked over to him.
"Hey,how was it last night? How could you not show up again? You know I was with your phone! I couldn't even sleep all night because I was worried about you!" She half yelled.
Kian looked around and saw some students already staring at them.
"Let's go talk privately" He mumbled and removed his helmet,Elena followed him.
They entered into an empty class and she immediately hugged him,tight.
"I was so worried" She said,weeping quietly.
"I'm fine,don't cry" Kian pat her back and made an attempt to break the hug but she didn't let him go.
"Leave me alone,I told you I missed you all night" She mumbled.
Kian sighed and let her be.
After she was satisfied,she broke the hug and looked up at him.
"He didn't hit you right?"
"No,as you can see,I'm fine" Kian flashed her a smile and she sighed.
"I'm so glad" She mumbled.
"You don't have to worry about me so much,I told you I will be fine...always" Kian said.
"Let's go" He held her hand and took her out of the class,but almost immediately,the students who already gathered and was waiting for him to come out started screaming.
* Oh my!! Kian!!
* I can't believe he's a viper boy!
* He's smoking hot,y'all!!
* Who's the girl he's holding?
* Don't tell me she's his girlfriend?
Elena immediately let go of his hand and he looked at her.
"I'm late already,I will see you later" She said and walked away.
Kian sighed.
* Reveal your face please!!
* I want your face.
He ignored them and just went off,welcomed by Knox's scream as soon as he entered the hall.

NOON*
"Come on!! Can't you just join us for today and see if you're gonna like it or not?" Knox followed Kian out of the class,he was already putting on the basketball team jersey and insisting on Kian joining the game.
They will be playing against another school in two days and today is the final practice.
"Who told you I can even play basketball? Do you just walk up to random people and ask them to join your team?" Kian faced him.
"No,I just have the feeling that you are good in this" Knox smiled.
"How?"
"You're tall, well built and just perfect for everything,you will drive the girls crazy as well" He replied.
"You're crazy" Kian scoffed.
"Well,he's right. I've always thought it would be so cool if you are in the same team with us" Saint walked over to them with Daven beside him.
Knox is the captain while Saint is like the second captain.
"I don't think so,,he's a weirdo,weirdos doesn't do sports" Daven said.
"Hey!" Saint and Knox yelled.
"What! Remember you said you don't know me,you even said you like weirdos,isn't that why you are friends with him?" Daven snapped at Knox.
"He said he doesn't know you?" Saint asked in surprise.
"Imagine,I mean,I'm one of the best players in our team" Daven scoffed.
Kian wanted to use that opportunity to escape since they are talking.
"Come here dude" Saint and Knox dragged him back.
"I swear I don't know anything about basketball" Kian groaned.
"Let's test you for today and decide,let's go get you your uniform" Saint pat his back and they dragged him away.

BASKETBALL COURT*
The court was packed with excited students. They filled the stands, chatting and laughing, eagerly waiting for the practice to start. Some already taking pictures.
Shine was live on her Instagram,walking from one place to another.
"Isn't this just hot? It's a practice,not the real game and yet we are so f*+*king amazing!! Oh...here comes the hottest girl in Pinnacles!!" She screamed and turned her camera as the cheerleaders walked in,led by Narisha in front,all attentions fell on her obediently.
* So hot!
* Narisha please!
Narisha smirked and winked at the students,gaining some screams from them.
"Hottest girl indeed,where are they going to put you?" Kasia hissed beside Liliana.
"Let it be,I'm not interested in all those things" Liliana rolled her eyes.
The cheerleaders performed for like ten minutes and finally the players were announced in.
Daven and Saint entered first and the whole place turned upside down from screams,mostly from girls obviously.
Others followed and lastly,Knox came in with Kian.
* Oh.My.Gosh!!!
* Kian joined the team!!
* Ahh!! Knox × Kian?!
* Someone help me,he's so tall!!
* Holy freko!
"I told you" Knox winked.
"I hate it" Kian scoffed.
"Kian,reveal your face for us please!!" A girl suddenly screamed from the crowd and the whole students began to chant.
* Reveal!!

"What are you gonna do?* Knox asked with concern.
Kian sighed and slowly removed his face mask and raised his head,the camera captured his face instantly and put it on the screen.
* He's mine everyone,please
* smoking hell
* My gosh!!!
* Kian I love you!!!!
"I understand you hate him now because of his family,but girl....he's hot" Kasia said to Liliana and she said nothing.
Seconds later,the practice started and the ball was thrown for Kian first.
"Pass pass"
But then the ball went too far and Kian dodged it,then the ball continue going,turning everyone's heads,until it landed on someone's face.
Everyone gasped out at once,it's nobody but Scylla.
Narisha chuckled and covered her mouth.
Kian immediately ran over to Scylla who remained standing in a position,glaring angrily.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked.
Everyone watched in surprise.
* Isn't he supposed to ignore her?
"Are you hurt?". Kian asked again.
Scylla shook her head and was about talking when Liliana came over to them.
"Stay away from her!" She yelled and pushed Kian's chest.
"Stay the f*+*k away" She warned again and grabbed Scylla's hand.
Everyone stared as she took her to sit down.
Kian sighed.
"Kian,come on!" Knox called and he ran back to join others.

It was after the practice,after all the fun. Kian was inside the restroom,washing his face and his mind went to Scylla again,he was worried she might have got a bleeding nose earlier.
"Just forget it,jeez" He groaned.
Suddenly the door opened and he raised his head up to see the person through the mirror,his brows raised when he saw Liliana.
She closed the door behind her and cleared her throat.
Kian turned and faced him.
"What are you doing here?" He asked.
"About....earlier.I'm sorry" Liliana muttered.
"Sorry?" Kian stared.
"It was just....."
"You were pretending?" He finished it for her and she nodded.
"Why? So why are you here? Kian asked.
"I'm not going to stay away from you.....never" Liliana answered and Kian blinked.
