A CATHOLIC CHURCH* 

The church was empty inside and out,it's not a Sunday and no program was ongoing at the moment,and besides it's night,about 8pm. 

Only a figure was sitting in the front seat,palms joined together,eyes closed,one can tell the person was praying. 

It's Zero Kian,the church is like his second home after his own house. 

After praying,he recited the Ava Maria prayer as well. 

"Amen" He mumbled under his breath and  opened his eyes,he stared at the cross right on the church alter for about five minutes,the look on his face blank and unreadable as he stared endlessly,after that he stood up and walked out of church premise. 

He climbed on his bike,used his helmet and sped off roughly. 

He had gone just few distance when his phone began to ring,he had to stop at once and brought it out of his pocket,it's Elena. 

Kian sighed and swiped green. 

"Hey" His voice came out softly. 

"Had dinner yet?" Elena asked. 

"No,I'm just going home...."

"Come over,I made some food. Let's eat together,I promise I won't delay you" Elena immediately said and Zero chuckled,he could imagine the cute pout on her face while saying that. 

"Alright,I will be there" He mumbled. 

"Thank you!!! I will start setting the table right away!!" She screamed excitedly and ended the call. 

Kian kept his phone again and reversed totally to the opposite direction and zoomed of.

Somewhere on the highway, a car chasing another one in front,the speed was so rough and fast on the lonely and dark road. 

"That bastard better escape fully,coz I will kill him if I ever catch up with him" Scylla said flatly,she was the one handling the car,and her driving skill is insane,she leads the group during every mission. 

"Mother said to bring him,not kill him" Bianca cautioned.

"That's mother,not me" Scylla scoffed. 

She stepped on the speed just once and turned the wheel roughly and swiftly, their car hit the second one and the person inside stopped at once. 

Scylla was the first to jump out,she removed her gun from her back pocket and airmed it at the man inside the car,he looks like someone In his late 40s. 

"Get down,son of a motherf+cker" Scylla said icely,her eyes piercing directly at him. 

The man opened the door with trembling hands and shaking body. 

"Hurry up before I burst your darn brain,I don't have time!" Liliana yelled,also bringing out her gun. 

"Mother said,don't touch him!" Bianca snapped at them. 

Liliana stayed back but Scylla didn't care,she yanked out the man with his hair and kicked his legs,making him fall on the rough road and his mouth hit the ground,two of his tooths removed and blood filled his mouth. 

"Scylla!" Bianca shouted. 

"You don't expect me to drive all the way here because of him and not touch him!! I'm not like you who follows mother's every f*+*king orders!" Scylla shouted back. 

"Lilian,throw him in the car" Bianca muttered,still glaring at Scylla,she was also glaring back. 

"Let's not do this,mother gave us time remember?" Liliana said as she injected the man in the neck and carried him toward the car,she opened the boot and threw him inside. 

"Drive his car and follow us" Bianca said to Scylla and entered their own car with Liliana and she drove off. 

Scylla scoffed and ran her fingers through her hair,she was standing in the middle of the road and is yet to move when she saw the flashlight of a bike coming,she stayed still and didn't bother moving,until the bike was really close and then stopped. 

Scylla brought out a cigarette and lighter,inwardly she was glad,maybe she finally got a prey she can vent her anger on. The car is crossed,so there's no way the bike can pass,not even when they are on the bridge. 

'Why aren't you coming down? Come down,throw some fits,so I can kill you' she said inwardly,her eyes still on the rider who remained on his bike. 

Scylla started smoking,still expecting the person to shout,but nothing happened. 

Some minutes later,he stepped down from the bike and approached her,Scylla smirked and puffed her smoke into the air. 

"Can you move a little bit?" He asked,his helmet still on his head. 

Scylla scoffed and ignored him. 

Kian sighed out and checked his wristwatch,he's running late already,Elena is waiting for him. 

"Aren't you supposed to remove your helmet before talking to me?" Scylla asked. 

Kian didn't argue,he removed the helmet and used his hoodie to cover his head instead. 

Scylla moved closer and removed it on his head roughly,she moved back and their eyes locked. 

"You must have thought you're too handsome to handle,is that the reason why you wanted to hide your face?" She asked. 

"Move your car" Kian muttered dryly. 

"And if I don't?" She asked. 

Kian brought out his phone. 

"I will call the cops" He replied. 

Scylla looked at him speechlessly,then bursts into a loud laughter. 

"What? Cops? On me?" 

"What do you expect me to do then?"

"Fight me of course,are you daft? Jeez" She groaned. 

"You even have a rosary? You go to church?!" Her eyes widened when she saw it around his neck. 

"Is there anything wrong with that?" Kian raised his brows. 

"Boring,wrong person" She hissed and left him,Kian watched her enter the car and drove off,in full speed. 

He sighed and used his helmet again before getting back on his bike,and he also left. 

* 

NEXT MORNING* 

📺 Just overnight,the body of a man who seems to be in his early thirties have been found in a field close to a police station,and has been confirmed to be murdered by the popular siren killer known as Shadow,he stamped the body with his signature as usual and we are live in the scene at this moment.....

The field was filled and bombed up by cops,FBI,detectives and reporters,it's the second murder this month by the same killer 'Shadow'.

Usually anytime he kills,he would use blood to stamp on their forehead,SHADOW. 

Not just a simple murder,the man on the ground right now looks totally scary,all his bones and skeletons are disjoint,his fingers were cut off,his dick has been removed and the bone in his legs were twisted to face another direction and his face is highly not recognizable at all. 

Clayton, the captain of the crime team was busy accessing the body as the Doctor was trying to explain to him what might have been the case. 

"I think it's exactly the same with others that was found as well,he shifted their bones and tortured them till they die,but he was making sure to keep them alive until he's done" The Doctor said. 

"So you're saying,he wanted to do everything to them while they are alive? Including cutting off their body parts?" Clayton asked,sounding surprised. 

"That's right,,it's exactly what a bloody psychopath would do,but let's wait for the autopsy yet" She replied and Clayton nodded. 

"Thank you for your cooperation,always" He said. 

The Doctor bowed and walked away. 

"Captain,we found this" A female cop,also like the closest partner to Clayton,came over to him,her name is Anna. 

She handed a phone to him. 

"It must belongs to the victim,submit it as an evidence immediately" Clayton said. 

"Yes sir" Anna saluted and ran off. 

Clayton sighed and crossed his arms as he looked down at the victim on the ground,nobody saw him,none was looking at him,they didn't know he was trying his best not to laugh. 

But then he did,he really laughed and smiled sidely then pretended to wipe tears from his eyes. 

"Oh,he looks so pituful" he mumbled and wiped invisible tears,but still laughed. 

"I feel sorry for captain,he's always emotional seeing dead bodies,but he can't escape it" One of the members of his team said as they stared at him. 

"He will be fine,he's the best captain ever" Another said. 

But Anna didn't talk,she only sighed.

PINNACLES UNIVERSITY* 

It's the second day of resumption and now the school is more filled up and organized than yesterday,the students are still busy showing off their outfits though,it's a normal thing for them,they would compare,take pictures of students whose clothes are awful and post on the school blog where everyone would laugh and likely the student will become the laughing stock of the week,getting bullied here and there. 

Kian rode into the school with his bike,Elena on his back as well and plenty eyes followed him,he doesn't even know but his matter is raising alarms all over the school blog and now a lot of people are watching him,he has been given different names. 

* 180cm.....(That's because of his height)

* Rocket

* Jet.....(Because of the sound of his bike)

* Undercover Alpha ( Coz he's always covering his face with his hoodie) 

Kian was kind of confused when he saw different eyes on him when he parked,Elena got down and removed her helmet,she was beginning to arrange her hair when she discovered that Kian wasn't moving. 

"Aren't you going to come down and remove your helmet?" She asked. 

"Eyes" Kian mumbled and Elena looked around. 

She immediately walked closer to the students that gathered.

"What are you looking at? Shoo off" She glared at them. 

Some of them cursed at her while others left without a word. 

"Road clear,come down your highness" She said. 

"Stop it" Kian scoffed and stepped down,he removed his helmet and quickly used a face cap but unknown to him some fast strikers managed to take pictures of him in just two seconds. 

"Do you know why they were waiting?" Elena asked when they started walking together. 

"Why?"

"Because they want to see your face,why not remove the cap and give them what they want?" She asked. 

"I hate attention......"

"You're getting more attention by doing this" Elena cut in. 

"I hate eyes,I prefer not seeing them...they are scary" Kian mumbled. 

Elena stopped walking and cupped his cheeks. 

"I'm always here for you" She said and Kian nodded. 

"Heard about who shadow just killed again?" She questioned. 

"He's brutal" Kian shook his head. 

"That's why you should start training,we don't know when anything might strike,I'm always worried about you" 

"You know what father would do if he catches me" Kian mumbled. 

Elena sighed out,thinking of what else to do but nothing came to her mind at all. 

"Hey dude!" Someone called from the back and Elena turned around,but Kian didn't. 

"I think he's calling you" Elena tapped Kian and he raised his brows before turning,only to see the same guy from yesterday...Knox,he remembers his name. 

"I've been calling you dude" Knox said and tapped his shoulder with a smile. 

"Whoa,you didn't tell me you made a friend? Handsome one at that" Elena grinned. 

"Friend? I don't know him" Kian shook his head. 

"Whoa,so you talk" Knox chuckled and Kian glanced at him swiftly. 

"Bye best,I will see you during lunch" Elena waved at him and ran off. 

Kian sighed,before Knox could start talking,he took his headphones that was hanging around his neck before and used it. 

"Are you seriously going to ignore me again?" Knox followed him when he began to walk. 

"Stop it,I don't like talking" Kian mumbled. 

"Well I can do the talking,what's your name?" He asked. 

Kian sighed. 

"Come on,I'm not that bad....."

"Kian" He said in a soft tone,hoping he wouldn't get into trouble if at all his brothers hear this guy calling him Kian. 

"Whoa,,Kian! That sounds so f+cking cool,you remember my name right? It's Knox in case you don't" He smiled. 

Kian rolled his eyes and entered the lecture hall,,eyes followed them both,Kian was beginning to feel uncomfortable with those stares,seems like luck is no longer on his side,his plan to stay invisible forever is slowly fading away. 

Suddenly everyone's phone beeped at once,except Kian's own

* WTF! A short glimpse of his face was taken! 

A girl suddenly exclaimed and immediately everyone was with their phones,gasping. 

* I can't really see it

* His lips are so damn full and sexy

* Oh my little heart

* The colour of his hair,please!

Kian was confused,he could only see everyone staring at him,including Knox,he was chuckling and Kian was almost pushed to ask him what was going on. 

"Seriously?" Knox faced him. 

"You look so insanely confused,you aren't on the school blog?" He asked. 

"School blog?" Kian raised his brows. 

Knox showed him his phone and Kian blinked,seeing his picture. 

"You're trending,I mean,you've been trending since a week before resumption,oops,I guess you can't stop people from noticing you no matter how much you try,what will be the next plan now? Helmet over your head? Or...you will quit school?" Knox teased and Kian frowned. 

"Sorry,my bad" Knox chuckled and raised his two hands in surrender. 

Kian sighed and totally ignored everyone staring at him. 

The moment he buried his face down and opened his laptop,Scylla and Liliana walked in together at once. Instantly,Scylla and Kian's eyes met,they both looked away at once and Scylla rolled her eyes,but suddenly she turned back to look at him with a surprise look on her face,she recognized him for sure,the same guy from last night. 

She said nothing and followed Liliana to their usual seats,two girls sitting there immediately stood up. 

"Wipe your @ss off" Scylla snapped. 

They immediately wiped the seat and left,Scylla and Liliana sat down after that. 

Liliana was the one scrolling through her phone and she saw the recent post on the blog,again her eyes fell on Kian few distance away from them. 

"What's that?" Scylla took the phone from her. 

"Come on" Liliana took her phone back. 

"I guess no one ever saw his face,they are going crazy in the comment section" she mumbled. 

Scylla scoffed,he clearly removed his helmet last night and she saw his face,what's there to hide? 

She rolled her eyes and opened her laptop as the professor finally walked in. 

"Will you be attending the party tonight?" Knox asked Kian while the lecture was ongoing. 

Kian raised his brows. 

"The Darkwood party,for all mafia mobs. We are meeting at Red house,aren't you gonna attend? Which clan do you belong to? I'm from Russia empire,but I stay here alone,my dad is the second in command over there,but he will be here tonight for the party......." Knox paused when Kian shifted his laptop to him. 

YOU TALK TOO MUCH was written boldly there for him to see. 

"Oh,sorry. But would you like to hang out sometimes in my place? I have quite a big house,and also,I just asked which clan you belongs to. Red Vipers? Definitely not,i don't think so,,then..Morning Stars? No not possible,which one?" 

Kian sighed out and shut his eyes then opened them back. 

"I'm not from any mafia clan" He finally mumbled. 

"Huh? Really?" Knox was shocked. 

"Yeah,I'm just a normal student. I'm totally weak as you can see,that's why I'm trying to avoid people and problems,If you are trying to act nice because you think I have anything to offer,you should stop now,there's nothing special about me,f*+*king stay away already" Kian said and closed his laptop then got up. 

"Where are you going?" Knox asked. 

"Let's not act like we are close,I don't like it" Kian said and all eyes fell on him as he changed seats and went to sit all alone at the back. 

"Well,I told you not to try so much" A guy joined Knox where Kian stood up from. 

"It's you again" Knox sighed. 

"It's Daven,my name" He mumbled. 

"I didn't ask" Kmox said. 

"It's a gift" Daven mumbled without looking up. 

Knox sighed and just continue listening. 

*

LUNCH TIME* 

Kian walked out of the hall,with his headphones buzzing with loud music,that's how he wants it,to take him completely away everything. But it was cut short when Knox joined him. 

"You didn't wait for me,that's unfair" Knox said and Kian raised his brows. 

"I guess you expect me to back down already,sorry but that's not happening" Knox smiled. 

"Are you gay?" Kian was forced to ask as he removed his headphones and hung it around his neck. 

"No I'm not,I love pussy more than anything" Knox winked and Kian shook his head. 

"Let's just be friends,that's all I ask for" Knox said. 

"If I say yes,would you stop taunting me!" Kian asked. 

"No" Knox simply replied and Kian glared. 

"I'm just being honest" He chuckled. 

"Fine" Kian exhaled. 

"Really?! So we are friends now?!" 

"Keep your voice down,you're embarrassing me" Kiam grumble. 

"Oh sorry" Knox chuckled. 

"So what are you eating?" He asked. 

"I don't eat in school,go alone" Kian said. 

"Oh please" Knox scoffed. 

As they walked,Knox saw Lotana standing in front of a class,his face buried in his face. 

"Right there...he's the son of the godfather in my clan,Lotana" He said and Kian glanced at him. 

"He's the next after The Red Viper boys and the Morning Star girls,he's quite great but his attitude stinks" Knox said. 

"Morning star girls?" Kian raised his brows.

"Of course,Liliana,Bianca and Scylla,,they are Red Vipers enemies and rivals? You really don't know anything?" Knox asked. 

Kian sighed,how is he supposed to know when his own family doesn't carry him along? But he knows about the rivals between the two clans, just that he doesn't really know the girls faces. 

"Those two girls who came in together the other time,they are twins,then Bianca is a senior,with Oscar and Kenzo" Knox whispered. 

Kian said nothing.

Lotana was busy staring and zooming Scylla's pictures on his phone,he actually saved everything from her Instagram page but he wouldn't just stop staring at them,it's exactly what you're thinking. 

He's been crushing on her ever since he was twelve that was the first time they met,during a meeting where his father met Jadaline and took him along. 

"Aren't you hungry? That should be enough for today,quit staring and just go talk to her,it's getting crazy" Ben,Lotana's best friend groaned beside him,they also belongs to the same clan. 

Just before Lotana could reply, Narisha appeared,cat walking toward him in her mini plus skirt which hardly covers her butt cheeks, and a crop top leaving her tiny waist to view,as she walks,she was turning heads. 

She always takes the lead of the most sexy girl in the whole of Pinnacles, she's also the leader of the cheer leading team,in a word,she's one of the most popular students in the whole school,nobody dares to mess with her,,her family has a very high rank in the mafia world as well. 

Her worst enemy? Scylla,reason? Just for existing. 

She stopped in front of Lotana and pecked his lips. 

"I've been searching for you" She smiled. 

"I told you not to kiss me in public,not like we are official or anything,stop it" Lotana said. 

"But we are do it privately?" She frowned.

Lotana said nothing and Narisha frowned when she saw the picture of Scylla he was staring at. 

"Let's meet tonight" he told her and left with Ben. 

Narisha clenched her fists. 

"I told you..get rid of Scylla before he would look at you,trust me. He's obsessed with that bitch,do something already" Shine scoffed beside her. 

"Don't worry,just watch me. How dare he try to mess with me? No public kisses? He's crazy" Narisha hissed. 

*

NORTH SIDE HALLWAY* 

Elena was rushing to the school restaurant, she just finished her lecture and she saw Kian's message telling her to come over to the school restaurant. 

She suddenly bumped into something as she ran and something dropped on the floor,the passing students already started to murder,but Elena was clueless until she looked up and saw no one else but Scylla and Liliana,she had bump into Scylla and the bottle water she was holding dropped. 

* She's f*+*king dead. 

* I pity her,Scylla doesn't forgive

* She's a low class too,gosh. 

"I'm..I'm sorry,I'm so sorry!" Elena stuttered and bowed about four times,but Scylla's expression remain blank. 

"The water" She glared. 

Elena bent and quickly took the bottle on the floor and handed over to her. 

Scylla raised her hand and poured the water on Elena's head,soaking her body with everything,before landing a slap on her face. 

"Watch where you are going next time,bi+ch!" She yelled. 

Elena touched her cheek,and also her wet top already,students gather to watch the scene. 

Liliana only stood there without saying a word. 

"Say something!!" Scylla yelled again and raised her hand the second time to slap her but someone suddenly held her hand from the back. 

Immediately,Scylla's head sparked. 

The murmurs doubled and the students were whispering among themselves. 

"Who is that bastard?" Scylla asked. 

"Don't ever...touch her again" Kian mumbled in the coolest voice before throwing her hand off. 

He quickly removed his hoodie and used it to cover Elena's body. 

* Awwwn

* He's just my type

* Total green flag. 

Scylla scoffed. 

" Hey!!" She yelled and grabbed him with his shirt,closer to herself,their eyes locked in a glare. 

"How dare you!! How dare you interrupt me? If I touch her again what will you do?! What!" She said to his face. 

Kian only stared,no utterance and that made her more angry. 

"Hey" Lotana came over and pulled Scylla behind him then faced Kian. 

"Who the f*+*k are you to make her angry?" He asked and locked Kian'a shirt. 

Scylla frowned behind him. 

"Let go of my shirt" Kian sighed and the students eyes widened. 

* He can't disrespect Lotana

* He will get punished,oh no

" What did you just say? Do you even know me?" Lotana asked. 

"Get your hand off me" Kian muttered again.

"Shut the f*+*k up!!" Lotana yelled and already raised his fist up to punch him in the face,but then Liliana stepped in,shocking everyone,she grabbed his wrist while glaring dangerously at him. 

Kian looked at her blankly. 

Lotana frowned.

"Hey,are you insane?" He asked. 

"Touch him....and die" Liliana mumbled. 

The students gasped.
