Edna cancelling the camp out trip didn't sit well with the kids and I
Zena who was so eager to go for the camp out, she has even informed her friends
She mentioned that one of her friend, Hilda said that they're also camping out the following weekend.
I wasn't surprised at all
It was one of the routine things around our town and there's so many beautiful places one can camp with family
Zena burst into tears after realizing no more camp
I guess that's another way of Edna puÏ€¡shing Zena for what she said to Marvel.
I so much looked forward to the camping with my family but If Edna decides not to go then there's no point going alone.
I so much håtéd the fact that Edna had to do this
How can she make a decision of not going and neither the kids, she makes it seem like I don't have any say in our home any longer.
But for the sake of peace, I decided to let it be but that doesn't mean I was happy about it and she also noticed my countenance but didn't react.
Edna continued caring for Marvel, her health wasn't improving like I so wished.
I had inward fear which I hide so well

I had fears so many fear, fear for Marvel, for Edna finding out the truth and fear of loosing my home, kids and marriage.
I love my wife, I know I have wronged her greatly but it was due to fear and doubts.
I just couldn't understand how Marvel case comes about
My parents and siblings has no such trace
I had a twin sister that passed on when she was so little
But it was due to cold or other viral diseases in children, not close to anything like Marvel case.
My mother said so herself.
My parents are still alive and in good health, maybe I will visit and ask them if there's anyone in our gene or blood line that suffered such condition or something relatable.
I heaved sådly as I stood up to check up on Marvel
She was getting her required medication, Edna was not just a good mother, she was medically sound
She was intentional with her family affair.
As a nurse, she knows the right drugs to administer at every point.
Edna was smart enough to dictate that Marvel illness was from a syringe needle prick, and that's super investigative.
If she wasn't sensitive enough or knows her job as a nurse so well, we would've been assuming a different thing.
It's already several days, I wonder why Marvel was still ill.
Edna later said she will stay home with Marvel, I can go to the camp out with Jonah and Zena.
I wasn't happy, I kept convincing her that we all should go together
Marvel will get better when we're out
Fortunately enough, Marvel got better on Thursday, She was no longer running temperature.
This was almost two weeks of the initial plan
Martin postponed the camp out because of me but when I finally told him he said he will also start making preparations.
I spoke with Martin the following day, which was on a Friday and he said he will be leaving with his family towards the evening
Friday afternoon, we all got ready and set out to the agreed location.
Zena and Jonah kept chatting non stop
Marvel was quiet during the drive, I sometimes wonder what was going through her mind.
We arrived at the camp out around 6pm and immediately went to check out our hotel and lodge.
After that we met with Martin and his family
They informed us were we will be camping for the night.
We were not the only ones that were out for the camp out.
It was like a weekend get away for some of us
Zena didn't take time in locating her friend, Helda .
She was on a camp out with her family too
People were setting out tent around a fire place as night approach
So many fun activities
Edna was back at the hotel with Marvel, she was unpacking and arranging our things properly
Hotels around the area were all booked due to weekend campers
A trampoline were set out by some of the boys hustling for a fee.
There was a lake and a close by forest near were we will be camping.
I sat with Martin, Drake who happens to be Hilda's father and another camper Mr Julius.
We had drinks in hand as we chat on so many topics
The camp fire was set in no time, Edna was out with Marvel and so is other women and kids
I went to check out our own tent which was close to the camp fire
It was big enough and I love the feel of it
Edna came out with some bags containing our camping things.
She informed me there's another bag in our hotel room that we will be needing.
I rushed back to the hotel and grabbed all the things that will be necessary.
Martin and few others were all trying to settle in the new environment
Within an hour everything was set.
Jonah and Zena were dressed according to the weather
Edna took her time in getting Marvel ready
We all came out and camped around the fire place
Zena and Jonah couldn't hide their excitement as they sat with other kids talking almost at the same time
Marvel tug around her Mom and Edna wasn't ready to let her out of site.
Edna was in the means of other women around the fire place as they laugh and discussed.
I was relieved seeing how it was all going.
A breath of fresh air was all that's needed and I felt satisfied seeing all the lively faces.
I never knew there was unforeseen danger looming around.
