Thane chuckled.
"You didn't hear that right?" Genny immediately asked.
"Why not?" Thane asked and Genny groaned in total embarrassment.
"You were thinking naughty before she did,am I lying?" Thane winked.
"Stop it" Genny blushed.
"Shouldn't we celebrate your shift?" Thane asked.
"How?"
"Let me get dressed, Orion and Dessa prepared something,,,dinner" Thane smiled and went into the dressing room but Genny followed him.
"Is the moon festival over?" She asked.
"Just the palace,if you still want to go out and....." Genny smashed her lips on his own before he could finish,she broke it shortly after.
"No,just asking" She said,her hands still around his neck.
Thane smiled and pinned her against the wall then began kissing her again,he released her lips and started kissing her neck,Genny let out a moan,her eyes shut,she bit her lips as the sensation ran through her body.
"Oh gosh...." She held him tight to herself as he lick her neck all the way down and then Squeezed her boobs.
"Ahh" she gasped.
Thane moved away from her.
"If I start right now,I won't let go" he winked and picked up a shirt to wear.
Genny hugged him from tbe back.
"I don't know why I just want to keep feeling your body on mine,it's crazy. Is this how the mate bond is?" She asked.
"Yeah" Thane said.
"Am I the only one feeling it right now? I guess I'm the only one who can't control it yet,you just suddenly broke the kiss without asking me" Genny pouted.
"I'm sorry about that but shouldn't we just go for the dinner,we can continue when we are back" He said.
Genny released him.
"Your dress is on the bed,Odessa brought it earlier..."
"I saw it" Genny snapped and went out.
"Is she angry?" Thane chuckled and immediately dressed up,after he was done,he returned to the bedroom and met Genny struggling to pull up her back zip on the dress.
"Let me help" Thane said and she dropped her hand,for him.
He moved closer.
*Her back is so fresh,our mate is super hot,she's killing me* Thorne spoke up and Genny turned,her eyes met with Thane's own.
"I heard him...I really heard Thorne just now" She said,looking so excited.
Thane nodded with a smile.
"That's it.....is this enough proof now that we are mates? Because you were still doubting thinking it's a dream" Thane said and Genny hit him playfully.
"He said I'm hot" She said,blushing.
*That should be me* Tonith spoke up and Genny frowned,making Thane laugh.
"Tonith is one naughty wolf,she's cute" Thane said.
*I love you too* Tonith replied him.
"I love you more" Thane smiled and Genny frowned.
"What" Thane looked at her.
"What about me? You just said you love....."
"Oh come on,I love you too,I love you love you,what the heck" Thane laughed.
She smiled and turned her back for him again,he zipped up the dress and kissed her neck,then he spanked her @ss.
"Stop it" Genny mumbled.
"Really? You want me to stop?" Thane asked.
"No" Genny said and Thane laughed.
"You've gotten so naughty" He said and carried her in a bridal style.
"I can actually walk" Genny said,holding him.
"Wasn't planning on walking" Thane winked and immediately they both appeared in the dining hall.
"What the fuck!" Beorn shouted,almost flinching.
Orion and Odessa laughed.
"So now you two aren't going to walk again?" Sage asked.
"Sorry we scared you" Genny smiled and Thane dropped her on the floor.
"So,you're our future Luna? I should greet you properly" Beorn stood up and bowed.
"Don't do that please" Genny said and they laughed.
"You will get used to it" Odessa said.
Thane pulled back a chair for her and she sat down,then Thane sat beside her.
"I wasn't expecting Beorn and Sage to be here" Thane spoke up.
"Fortunately they haven't gone yet,they will be sleeping over at the palace" Orion said.
The maids started dishing out the meals on the table for everyone.
"But,when are we going back to school?" Genny asked.
"After tomorrow" Odessa said.
"Will you give me a tour around the pack tomorrow?" Genny asked.
"I will do that" Thane said immediately.
"Thanks" Genny smiled.
They all started eating.
"Did anyone see Kymani?" Odessa asked.
"Why?" Orion asked.
"I saw his dad with the alpha in the palace,hours ago" Odessa replied.
"You seriously think Kymani will come here? After all the announcement that the prince got his mate? And it's no other person than Genny" Beorn said.
"Yeah right,he likes Genny" Orion said.
"He does? Really? Then why would he try to suck her blood?" Odessa asked,looking confused.
"Her blood?" Beorn and Orion asked at a time and Thane raised his brows.
Odessa looked at Genny.
"Oh....sorry I thought...Thane knows....."
"That bastard tried to suck your blood?" Thane faced Genny.
"He said it was a mistake" Genny said.
"Why did you tell me anything?"
"You were mad at me that time....."
"Then after?" Thane snapped.
"I'm sorry" Genny muttered.
Thane fold his fist against the cutlery in his hand and the dinner knife broke,everyone stopped eating.
"Thane calm down,he didn't touch her,I got there before he could and besides,I guess it was really a mistake,the Kymani I know would have manipulated her if he really want to suck her blood" Odessa said and Genny immediately nodded.
Thane inhaled and exhaled before he started eating,the rest of the dinner went well enough.

RAVENWOOD INSTITUTE*
Lila was walking alone in the corridor,she was trying to fix her necklace by herself as she walked when suddenly she bumped into a boy and the necklace fell from her hand.
"Oh sorry" The boy smiled and helped her pick it up.
"Thanks" Lila said and took it from him.
"I didn't know you walk alone,I thought it's a must for you to walk with your sister and talk together" He said.
Lila ignored him and choose not to talk,she tried walking away and he grabbed her hand,making her face him again.
"Don't touch me!" Lila yelled and pushed him off,his back hit the side wall roughly and he coughed,she just used her power on him.
Lila glared at him and started walking away.
"I'm Zenith!!" He called after her even while still on the ground.
Lila ignored him and left without turning back.
"Gosh" Zenith stood up.
"Aren't you gonna give up? Those twins are no going way,can you even differentiate between them?" One of his friends asked as they appeared.
"That shouldn't be a problem,I guess that one is Lila,I've been looking at her for a while,she's more crazy" Zenith said and they laughed.

DINNING HALL*
"Hey girls" Ophelia and Astrid joined Ondine and Juna on the same booth.
"You guys are missing Genny right?" Ophelia smiled.
"Yeah" Juna nodded.
"I still can't believe the news about Genny being Thane's mate,this is just too shocking to digest,honestly" Astrid said.
"Honestly me too,but I'm happy. At least Indigo will calm down now,always acting like she's the school queen,but we have the real queen now" Ondine said and the girls laughed.
"I can't wait for them to return,I can" Astrid said,with her mouth full.
Atticus stepped into the dining hall, his eyes scanning the hall as if searching for someone, Lost in thought, he didn't notice a boy walking in the opposite direction. The two collided, and the boy's food tray dropped.
"Watch where you're going, bastard!" the boy shouted, his face red with anger,he raised his hand to strike Attucus but suddenly his hand froze in mid-air,suspended by an invisible force.
The room fell silent, with all eyes fixed on the boy who was struggling to bring his hand down but couldn't.
Everyone turned and they saw Maren from standing few distance away,controlling the boy's hand with her piercing gaze.
"Hey you witch! Let me go!" The boy yelled.
"Next time you try to hit him,I will kill you" Maren said and released him.
The boy glared at Atticus before storming out.
The students already started murmuring but Maren didn't care,she sat down back and continue eating then Atticus joined him.
"Thanks" He muttered.
"He was just annoying" Maren muttered.

KYMAMI'S ROOM*
Kymani sat in his dimly lit room, nursing a bottle of strong, crimson-hued Malvasia wine. He had been drinking for hours, but despite the potent alcohol, his senses remained sharp and his thoughts crystal clear. It was as if the wine had no effect on him whatsoever.
His mind, however, was a different story. He hadn't been himself since yesterday, when he received the shocking news that Genny was destined to be Thane's mate. The revelation had left him reeling, his heart heavy with sorrow and disappointment.
As he stared into the wine's dark depths, memories of Genny flooded his mind, and a pang of sadness pierced his chest,he just couldn't stop thinking about her,now she wouldn't be able to smile at him anyone,all she's going to see is Thane,just him alone.
Just as he was thinking, the door creaked open, and Indigo stepped into the room.
"Don't tell me you're still drinking" She said and closed the door back.
"Leave me alone Indigo" Kymani said.
"Isn't this the time to look for a solution and make her yours?!"
"Are you kidding me? She's Thane's mate!! What are you even talking about!" Kymani yelled.
"You're just scared of Thane,nothing else! Because you're not as strong as he his........."
Before she could finish that,Kymani disappeared from where he was sitting and the next second he was choking her neck on the wall,his eyes totally bloody red.
"Don't you dare....don't you dare say that again!!!!" He snarled angrily.
"Then try to get her back so I can have Thane!! Try!!" Indigo screamed and pushed him before,she opened the door and walked out of the room.
*
NEXT DAY, RAVEN PACK*
Genny and Thane entered the restaurant, weary and famished after a long day of meetings and greetings with various pack members. Genny had spent hours being introduced to the Beta Balto,Orion's father, and many others.
Thane also took her to alot of places in the pack as she requested.
As they found a cozy table, Genny let out a sigh of relief, her feet aching and her stomach growling.
"I don't understand why you don't want us to return to the palace so we can eat sensible food" Thane said.
"Because I still want to keep going around,this place is so fun honestly" Genny smiled.
A waitress came over to them,her cheeks red as she mistakenly locked eyes with Thane. Genny glared and Thane immediately touched her.
They both gave her their orders and she left.
"Why did you tap me? She was blushing" Genny scoffed.
"Let it slide,I know I'm handsome but..."
Genny glared at him and he laughed.
"I just love everything around this place,I wish we aren't going back to school anymore" She pouted.
"Remember this is the period you need to train better and master your power" Thane said.
"Actually,I feel a new kind of energy inside me..I think I can do better now" Genny smiled.
"I know...but you still need to learn how to control it" Thane said and she nodded.
The waitress came over with their food and they began to eat.
"Wow...it's delicious" Genny moaned.
"I don't want you moaning just anywhere,,only when you're in my room" Thane said.
"Oops sorry" Genny said and he smiled.
"So....I've been trying to ask you...where are your parents?" Thane asked and Genny bit her lips.
"What's wrong?"
"I have parents but..they are not my real parents,they just found me.....and decided to take me in" Genny shook her head.
"They found you? Then what about your real parents? You have no idea?" Thane asked.
"I don't have any,honestly I wish I can find them. But I don't even know if they are alive or not,maybe they just abandoned me" She mumbled.
Thane sighed and took her hand.
"It's okay....I'm here for you no matter what,so don't think about anything" He said and Genny nodded.
*
PALACE*
Odessa entered the Shaman's room with a tray in her hand,a mug of green tea on the tray.
"My princess,why are you the one bringing my tea?" The Shaman asked.
"I told the maids I would like to bring it for you instead" Odessa smiled and dropped the tray on the table for her.
The Shaman nod and sipped from the tea.
Odessa sat down opposite her,staring at her as she continue drinking until she dropped the cup.
"Is there any other thing you would like me to get you?" She asked.
"Of course not my princess,I'm okay"
"I heard from mother....you will be leaving tomorrow. I'm also going back to the institute tomorrow" Odessa muttered and the Shaman smiled.
"You must really love him so much" She said and Odessa batted her lashes.
"I know why you're here princess" The Shaman said.
"Oh" Odessa bit her lips.
"You're really an amazing person princess.....maybe that's why the moon goddess changed your fate" she said and Odessa's eyes widened.
"Huh? My fate??" She asked again,almost confused.
"You were supposed to meet your mate somehow last night...I mean...your mate was right here at the palace last night,but you two didn't feel each other"
"W....why??" Odessa asked.
"Because you don't want one" The Shaman replied.
"I know it's rare to know this,but the moon goddess always try to make the perfect mate bond between two wolves who wouldn't mind spending the rest of their lives together,when you're mated to another wolf,it's a forever bond" Shaman explained.
"So now....what?" Odessa asked and she smiled.
"You will know...when your bond get activated again. This time you can be lucky to be with the person you love,but I can't promise you...."
"I will do whatever it takes for the moon goddess to choose him for me,whatever" Odessa said and the Shaman smiled.
"I will be rooting for you princess,don't hesitate to come to me If you ever need my help" she said and Odessa nodded,with a smile.

NEXT MORNING, RAVENWOOD INSTITUTE*
The car door swung open, Thane emerged, his tall frame and chiseled features drawing instant attention. He was dressed in a sleek black leather jacket, fitted black jeans, and a crisp white shirt, showcasing his rugged charm,then Genny also stepped down,getting some "wow" from the students who haven't believed the mate stuff yet.
She wore a stunning red off-the-shoulder top, paired with high-waisted dark jeans and black boots, accentuating her curves, Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back.

As they walked together closer, the students couldn't help but stare,they all bowed in respect.
From an angle,Genny's eyes fell on Indigo who was also glaring at her hatefully.
'Bitch' Indigo said inwardly and Genny heard her straight up.
Before she could think if controlling herself,she found herself speeding over to where Indigo was standing,definitely the work of Tonith,Genny grabbed Indigo's neck and pinned her against the wall,her eyes piercing into her soul.
The students gasped and moved back.
"Repeat what you said!" Genny shouted.
Thane came over to her and pulled her back,Indigo started coughing. Genny was still looking angry.
"Apologize" Thane said to Indigo,in a calm voice.
🗣 I can't believe she made them angry already.
🗣 She's so desperate
🗣 So annoying.
"I'm sorry...."
"Go down!!" Thane yelled and she flinched.
Indigo immediately fell on her knees,Right in front of Genny.
"Apologize properly" Genny said bluntly.
"I'm sorry" Indigo mumbled.
"Apologize properly!" Genny snapped again.
"I'm sorry......your highness" Indigo uttered.
